Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal1 Mei2017 sampai pada 30 Juni 2017 yang berlokasi di jalan Lettu Zulkipli, Rt 06 Rw 02, kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh dosis pakan pelet Hi Pro Vite terhadap pertumbuhna ikan Nila Merah. Rancangan yang dugunakan adalaha Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan satu faktor dengan empat ulangan yang terdiri dari empat taraf perlakuan yaitu A (dosis 3%), B (dosis 4% ), C (dosis 5%), D (dosis 6%). Data yang diperoleh diuji dengan analisis keragaman pada taraf 5%. Apabila pengaruh nyata maka dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) pada taraf 5%. . Parameter yang diamati adalah barat mutlak dan panjang mutlah, konversi pakan dan efisiensi pakan serta kelangsungan hidup. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: pertumbuhan ika Nila Merah berpengaruh nyata terhadap berat, mutlak dan panjang mutlak, berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap konversi pakan dan efisiensi pakan tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kelangsungan hidup ikan Nila Merah. Pertumbuhan ikan Nila Merah terbaik terdapat pada dosis 6 % dan mempunyai kelansungan hidup 92,5 %.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine what factors affect the demand for rice in the city of Bengkulu. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from BPPS report of Kota Bengkulu, public services institution, research reports and related parties, observation with institutional approach and other sources supporting this research. The data obtained were analyzed by qualitative as well as quantitatively in the form of time series data which included population data, community income and rice price from 1995 to 2014. The analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that demand for rice in Bengkulu city was 79% influenced by population, per capita income and rice price while 21% influenced by other factors not included in this research. Population, community income and rice prices together affect rice demand, while the partial income of the community and the price of rice does not affect the demand for rice in the city of Bengkulu

Abstract

Potential yield eggplant crop cultivation can be increased by fertilizing them. Based organic fertilizer liquid organic fertilizer made from medicinal plants is an alternative that should be considered in the future of agriculture. This study aimed to get information that there are certain herbs or a combination of the best as materials for liquid organic fertilizer. Research conducted at the Faculty of Agriculture University of Ratu Samban Bengkulu Utara from November 2016 to February 2017. Research Methods Randomized Design of the single factors with four replications. The treatments are made from medicinal plants liquid organic fertilizer consists Control (G0), liquid organic fertilizer Tithonia diversifolia (G1), Tridax procumben (G2), Ageratum conyzoides (G3), T. diversifolia + T. procumben (G4), T. diversifolia + T. procumben + A. conyzoides (G5),T. procumben + A. conyzoides (G6), and T. diversifolia + A. conyzoides (G7). The results showed that: 1) the treatment of liquid organic fertilizer made from medicinal plants significantly affected the variables plant height, number of pieces, and the eggplant fruit weight. 2) treatment liquid organic fertilizer Tithonia diversifolia + Tridax procumben + Ageratum conyzoides (G5) produced the highest fruit weight when compared to controls. 3) generally made from medicinal weeds liquid organic fertilizer treatment is always generating growth and yield better eggplant.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of various types and concentrations of organic fertilizers on growth and yield of beans. Research conducted at the village Margosari, Ilir subdistrict Talo Seluma, in September 2015 until January 2016. This study was a completely randomized block design, arranged as factorial. Consists of two factors: the first is a kind of liquid organic fertilizer (P) consists of four treatments namely: P1 = Liquid Organic Fertilizer Hantu; P2 = Organic Fertilizer Crystal Sampurna; P3 = Liquid Organic Fertilizer Biotrent; P4 = Liquid Organic Fertilizer Biotama. The second factor is the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer (K) consists of four treatments namely: K0 = Control; K1 = concentration of 1 ml / l of water; K2 = 2 ml / l of water; K3 = 3 ml / l of water. Each combination treatment was repeated 3 times.The study concluded (1) The treatment of liquid organic fertilizers and the interaction between the type and concentration of organic fertilizers no real effect on the growth and yield of beans, while the concentration of organic liquid fertilizer treatments was highly significant. (2) The concentration of liquid organic fertilizer 3 ml / l of water deliver growth and long beans optimal results.Keywords: organic fertilizers,beans, types and concentrations

Abstract

The  study  aims  to  determine  the  time  of  grafting  seedlings  rubber  tree  (hevea brasiliensis Muell Erg.) Which consists of a morning, afternoon and evening on success of grafting growth. The experiment was conducted in village of Taba Tembilang Arga Makmur  district  of  North  Bengkulu,  in  September  until  November  2012.  The experiment was conducted using a randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) with a single factor, namely time of application grafting with replay 4 times. Factors studied were time applications grafting (W) is: W1 = In the morning hours of 07:00 to 08,00, afternoon   W2 = 13.00 -14.00, and evening   17.00-18.00. The study concluded that: (Time) does not affect the application of grafting significantly to the success of grafting and shoots of growth, (2) No application time best rubber grafted seedlings. Application of rubber seedling grafting can be done anytime.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of different protein levels on the growth of gourami (Osphronemus gouramy). The study was conducted for 60 days starting from June to August 2017, at Kelurahan Pasar Melintang, Teluk Segara Subdistrict, Bengkulu City. The research design used was Completely Randomized Design (RAL) which consisted of 3 treatments with each treatment in repeated 4 times, so that 12 research units were obtained. For container boxs with size 40 cm x 30 cm and water height 25 cm. The number of test fish used for the study amounted to 60 fishes with length of fish 6-8 cm. Fingerprint analysis showed that feeding with different protein content significantly affected weight growth whereas for lengthy growth of fish, feed conversion, feed efficiency and survival have no significant effect. Results from further tests of BNT showed the best treatment. The highest absolute weight on P3 treatment with feed with 40% protein content.

Abstract

The availability of farm inputs which can be gotten easily, cheaply at anytime is one of important keys to successful of organik agriculture practice. Organik fertilizer which is made of fronds of oil palm, or we call it POPS fertilizer, is an alternative fertilizer that fulfill that expectation. There are at least four advantages of using fronds as source of organik fertilizer are available in abundant amounts, very cheap or even free, as product product and could be chop by using chopper machine. A research had been done in irrigated wetland field located in Padang Rambun village in Seluma District, Bengkulu Province from January to May 2018. A split plot design was used to analyze three kinds of fertilizers were POPS, cow manure bokashi and anorganik fertilizers and three levels of nitrogen dosages were 120, 90 and 60 kg/ha. The results showed that POPS fertilizer gave the best rice performances on height, number of tillers, number of productive tillers and yield (6.81 ton/ha). In addition, the highest dosage provided best yield by 6.69 ton/ha. Finally, the rice productivity has consistently increased since the first year of POPS fertilizer application.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan kondisi penyimpanan yang tepat pada varietas Lembah Palu, varietas Palasa dan varietas Tinombo yang mampu mempertahankan vigor daya simpan umbi bawang merah dan Viabilitas benih atau daya hidup benih bawang merah. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah kondisi penyimpanan (K), yang terdiri dari tiga taraf, yaitu : K1 = Ruangan terbuka (dianginkan), K2 = Ruangan yang diberi AC dan K3 = Diletakkan di atas dapur (diasap), sedangkan faktor kedua adalah jenis varietas (L), yaitu yang terdiri dari tiga jenis, yaitu : L1 = varietas lembah palu, L2 = varietas palasa dan L3 = varietas tinombo. Maka diperoleh 3 x 3 = 9 kombinasi perlakuan, setiap kombinasi perlakuan diulang tiga kali, sehingga terdapat 9 x 3 = 27 unit percobaan. Setiap unit percobaan digunakan 20 butir benih, sehingga diperlukan 27 x 20 = 540 butir benih. Pengelompokkan berdasarkan ukuran benih. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi interaksi antara perlakuan kondisi penyimpanan dan jenis varietas terhadap viabilitas dan vigor benih bawang merah pada kadar air benih. Kondisi penyimpanan diasapi memberikan pengaruh lebih baik terhadap viabilitas dan vigor benih bawang merah. Varietas lembah palu toleran terhadap kondisi penyimpanan, karena tidak menurunkan viabilitas dan vigor benih, meskipun disimpan pada tempat yang berbeda.Kata kunci: kondisi penyimpanan, varietas, viabilitas dan vigor

Abstract

Rice is one of strategic foods in Indonesia that can affect the inflation. Indonesian people and goverment have done many efforts to increase the national rice production, for example by extensification. However, it can not be said success because the rate of land transformation from rice field to other usages is much higher that the rate of extensification itself. Rice field transformation reaches 145.000 hectares each year. Due to that condition, growing rice in dry land (padi gogo) is a good alternative to improve national rice production. Longterm objective of this research is to create superior variety of dry land rice. The variety not only should be well adapted to Bengkulu Province climate and weather condition but also liked by local consumers. This research used split plot design as the use of ameliorant (farmyard manure and bokashi compost) as the main plot and 15 genotypes of dry land rice from cross breeding as the sub-plot. Result of research showed that there are 5 genotipe which tolelaran to poisoned of aluminium that is ( UNHZ 5, UNHZ 23, UNHZ 24, UNHZ 29 and UNHZ 31. The most highest production rice genotypes based on its lifespan are UNHZ 31
