Culture is basically an important thing in society, but there are some cultures that have a more negative impact. The culture that appears in general still clearly shows its alignment with men, one of these cultures is the Sebambangan culture. Sebambangan culture is more inclined to men so that it puts women in a disadvantaged position. The purpose of this study is to examine Sebambangan culture from the point of view of Feminism. The research method in this paper is a descriptive-qualitative method with a Feminist approach. The population in this study is the entire Lampung tribal community by taking samples using a purposive sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that based on feminism studies, the sebambangan culture makes women marginalized and subordinated in society. Abstract

Indonesia's 3T (Frontier, Remote, and Disadvantaged) regions are particularly prone to poverty, prejudice, and inequality for women. Therefore, having mothers working even in the informal public sector, like selling vegetables, is a type of gender equality. In the city of Kupang, it is common for mothers to sell vegetables in a traditional manner by walking around and using local items. Based on a positive psychology viewpoint, the aim of this study is to understand and describe the experiences and challenges faced by women in Kupang City, NTT who sell vegetables on the neighborhood to support their family. The research method is descriptive phenomenological study. Three individuals who fit the requirements were found; they were housewives selling goods in Kupang; they worked as greengrocers and commuted on foot; and they willingly expressed a desire to participate in the study. Thematic analysis is a technique of data processing employed. The study's findings revealed four primary themes: the experience of selling vegetables on foot; the dynamics of women who sell vegetables as they juggle several tasks; the benefits of selling vegetables on foot; and interactions with family and the community. The difficulties, exhaustion, and tension that mother suffers when selling veggies on walking are extremely real. However, despite the obstacles encountered, each subject receives a variety of benefits (in satisfying the family economy), positive meaning, and the most important is profit and psychological capital such as having positive emotions, thankfulness, perseverance, and toughness, all of which have a significant impact on happiness and psychological well-being as a human.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the results of the GESI analysis. The method used is the GESI (Gender Equality and Social Inclusion) assessment. From the results of the GESI analysis it was found that the role of Papuan women in religious activities was quite high, both in routine religious meetings and involvement in planning religious activity programs and peace education. However, from 4 (four types of involvement) it was found that women's role was only in the "listening position". These results prove that there is an imbalance of systemic decision-making power in society. Thus, capacity building for Papuan women and religious, customary, community and government institutions is needed so that women's roles can be maximized in peace and social cohesion.

Abstract

In Kolipadan Village, Ile Ape District, Lembata Regency, the emphasis on family economic capability has created chances for women to maximize the varied family welfare potentials. Several factors include husbands who have passed away, husbands who don't have a stable career, and husbands who earn a livelihood overseas (migration). To help raise family income, a variety of initiatives and opportunities are used, including the regional specialty, namely titi corn, also known locally as Wata Kena'e in Kolipa Village and Ileape District, Lembata District. This study seeks to understand the role of female heads of home in boosting family income to satisfy family requirements through selling titi corn. In this study, the sale of titi corn in particular, is examined, along with the selling price and technique of processing. Both primary and secondary data were used in this investigation. Interviews with 25 female head-of-household respondents in Kolipadan Village provided the primary data. Secondary data comes from data-related offices, namely population density and the number of female workers. A qualitative technique and descriptive analysis were both used in the data analysis for this investigation. The findings demonstrated that women significantly contribute to raising family income by processing corn titi. For one kilogram of corn, titi corn processing costs IDR 10,000 in raw materials and takes a half-day to complete. Titi corn is sold for between IDR 50,000 and IDR 100,000 per kilogram. Monthly revenue from corn sales ranges between IDR 500,000 and IDR 1,500,000. In order for the family to be able to meet its fundamental needs, social and psychological needs, and developmental needs and be considered affluent, women must be the head of the household and must work to improve the family's economics.
