Abstract

The role of headmaster’s leadership in increasing teachers’ professional competence was mainly discussed in this research. The descriptive qualitative method was used in this researchinvolving the headmaster, the teachers, and the staff. The result showed that the role of headmaster’s leadership (1) as administrator, was done by sharing responsibility of learning to theteachers; (2) as supervisor by: considering the teaching distribution duty carefully; (3) as manager by: finishing the school program together, (4) as motivator by: building comfortable environment for teaching and leraning.Keyword: headmaster, teacher, professional competence

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the strategic management conducted principals in improving the discipline of teachers in number one senior high shool of Kepahiang. This research uses descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques by interview, observation and documentation. Subjects were principals, vice principals affairs curriculum, teachers, school supervisors supervisor and chairman of the school committee. While the data analysis was done with descriptive analysis, inductive and deductive. Strategy formulation principals in enforcing discipline the teacher is the formulation of the vision and mission by considering the internal and external environment, followed by setting goals and targets and the continued determination of the strategy. Implementation of the strategy principals in enforcing discipline the teacher is doing the translation strategies have been formulated in the form of activities. Evaluation is done by supervising the education of the teachers.

Abstract

The general purpose of this research was to analyze the effect of principal instructional leadership and job satifaction toward teacher job performance at Junior High School in Ulok Kupai District Bengkulu Utara Regency. The method of the research used survey. The result showed (1) the principal instructional leadership gave effect which significance toward teacher job performance at Junior High School in Ulok Kupai District Bengkulu Utara Regency.  (2) the job satisfaction gave sinificance effect toward teacher job performance at Junior High School in Ulok Kupai District Bengkulu Utara Regency (3) the principal instructional leadership and job satisfaction gave significance effect toward teacher job performance at Junior High School in Ulok Kupai District Bengkulu Utara Regency.

Abstract

The objective of this study was describe teacher discipline in learning in Junior High School number two in Lubuklinggau City, South Sumatra Province. The qualitative descriptivemethod was used in this study. The subject of this study was principal, teachers, and students. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentations. Data analysis included data collection, reductioning data, display the data. At last the researcher can conclude that the teacher discipline in planning in learning, the teacher discipline actuating in learning, and the teacher discipline evaluating in learning have been done in junior high school number two in Lubuklinggau City, South Sumatera Province.Keyword: teacher, discipline, learning

Abstract

As a manager, the principal was faced with many tasks that require genuine responsibility for their implementation. The School Action Research was conducted at SD 06 Ujan Mas Kepahiang district and the problems the research were the quality of principals work program by school supervisor through principals managerial supervision who followed with guidance and coaching directly and continuously. In the implementation of this PTS the procedure was to supervise and analyze the principal administration, provide technical guidance on SWOT analysis and ways of compiling annual work program and the direct guiding SWOT analysis and preparation of annual work program of principals.

Abstract

This research aimed at describing the management of the industrial working practice at vocational high school 3 Lubuklinggau. The methode of study used is qualitative descriptive. The subject of the study is the principal and the staff, head of study program, work team, advisors of the the industrial working practice, instructur of industry, student, and the school’s partner. The result of the study concluded as follow: (1) the planning has been well performed, (2) the organizing was performed by the work team only, (3) students activities at the workshop by using daily journal, (4) the monitoring and evaluation were done using journal and monitoring system.

Abstract

This action reserach excecuted in three clycles to enhance teacher competence in the class manajerial of SMAN 10 Bengkulu. The subject of the research are eleven teachers. Data were analyzed descriptively. The research show the increasing of mean score of teacher competence in the class managerial at cycle I, II, and III in accordance are 77,28, 80,67, and 89,98. The research conclude, that clinical supervision can improve teacher competence in theclass manajerial.Keywords: clinical supervision ,class managements.

Abstract

The general objective of the study is to describe the implementation of the 2013 curriculum for counseling teacher at Vocational High School number 1 Seluma regency. In thisstudy, researchers investigated and described the problem of curriculum implementation in 2013 for teachers counseling. In these activities involve many parties including principals and teachers counseling, student achievement and students assisted counseling. The conclusions of this study is that the implementation of the curriculum for teachers 2013 counseling performing well. Implementation can be seen from the planning, implementation and evaluation of the activities of guidance counseling in school.Keywords: implementation, curriculum 2013, counseling

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the chemical laboratory. The method of the research used qualitative descriptive. This research subject is the principals, curriculum vices, laboratorian, technician and the chemical teachers. Used technique of collecting data in this research were observation, interview, and documentation. The result of this research showed that: 1) The planning was prepared and set by the principal. 2) The  organization was established based on the meeting result of teachers and principals. 3) The implementation was only done the head of laboratory. 4) The controlling and evaluating were done intensively based on the provision and planning.Keywords: management, chemical laboratory

Abstract

The objective of this study is to describe the participation of state and private institution in students’ industry work praxis of accounting and office administration expertise program of StateVocational School One of Lubuklinggau District. This study used qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of this study consist of principal, the vice of principal, the head of study program, teachers, and students. The data were collected by interview, observation and documentation. Data wereanalized by using the qualitative.
