Abstract

This study aims to increase the activity and student learning achievement by applying the outdoor learning method in class VA SD Negeri 51  Bengkulu. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects of this study were class VA students at SD Negeri 51 Bengkulu. The research procedure is in the form of  cycles II. The research instruments were in the form of student observation sheets and test sheets. The test data analysis technique uses the average value formula and the percentage of classical learning completeness. The results analysis of student activities obtained in the cycle I obtained an average of 31.25 with good categories increased in the cycle II obtained an average of 39.75 with a very good category. While for student learning achievement in the cycle I with an average of 74.09 and classical learning completeness 63.63% increased in the cycle II with an average of 82.04 and classical learning completeness of 90.90%. The conclusion of this study is that the application of outdoor learning methods can improve the activities and student learning achievement in Civics learning in the VA class of SD Negeri 51 Bengkulu

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the use of relistic mathematics education model based tabut ethnomatematics on mathematical communication skills. This research is quantitative. The method used quasi experimental design with the matching only pretest-posttest group design. The population in this study is all students of class IV SD is tabut harmony familly. Subjects in this study was study group IV A in SDN 09 Kota Bengkulu as experimental class and study group IV C in SDN 02 Kota Bengkulu as cotrol class. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling. The research instrument used description test sheet. Taking the test twice before and after giving treatment to sample class. Of this research by using SPSS 16.0 for windows. Based on analysis of research data is the result of difference between the pretest-posttest control class and experimental class. This difference is evidenced by the significance value od the t test 0,00 < 0,05 means.From these results, it can be concluded that there are difference in the use of relistic mathematics education models bases tabut etnomatematics on mathematical communication skills

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of clean culture in developing awareness of environmental hygiene in students at the state Elementary School 07 Bengkulu City. This research uses qualitative types with descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects of this study are students, teachers, principals, janitors and traders in the school canteen. Data collection techniques used observations, interviews and documentation. Analytical techniques are conducted during the field and analysis after the field by studying the entire data collected in a narrative. The results of the research obtained are: a) clean culture programs in state Elementary School 07 Bengkulu City, the Program; Adiwiyata School, classroom cleanliness, school environment cleanliness, clean Saturdays, and waste management; b) Methods applied in efforts to develop awareness of environmental hygiene by exemplary, habituation, and learning; c) The school prepares hygiene facilities and infrastructure; d) in supporting the clean culture of the school principal, teachers, janitors and traders canteen actively support. Conclusions gained that the state elementary School 07 Bengkulu City has implemented a clean culture through the above programs and has developed a concern for the cleanliness of the environment in the school residents.

Abstract

Penggunaan media TIK yang masif dapat membantu siswa memahami isi materi yang diajarkan. hal ini disebabkan siswa sekolah dasar yang berada pada tahap perkembangan kognitif operasional konkrit, dimana siswa pada tahap ini telah mampu berpikir secara logis dengan bantuan benda-benda konkrit. Dengan menggunakan media TIK ini, guru dapat menghadirkan benda-benda konkrit yang divisualisasikan melalui media TIK ke dalam kelas untuk dimanfaatkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan dan kualitas media pembelajaran berbasis TIK yang dirancang, diproduksi dan dimanfaatkan oleh calon guru sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan data deskriptif prosentase sebagai metode mencari data dan mendeskripsikan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan. Penelitian ini melibatkan 125 orang calon guru sekolah dasar yang telah melaksanakan praktik peer teaching menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis TIK. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini memggunakan angket yang disebarkan kepada calon guru. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan, calon guru sekolah dasar telah mampu mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis TIK  dengan baik. Diharapkan dimasa yang akan datang, akan ada media pembelajaran berbasis TIK  yang berkualitas dalam pembelajaran untuk anak usia sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of illustration children's stories on students' speaking abilities. This research is quantitative. The method used is a quasi experimental design with the matching only posttest group design. The population in this study was the cluster 1 SD Negeri Bengkulu City. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling. The sample in this study was class 2B SD Negeri 1 Bengkulu City as an experimental class and class 2B SD Negeri 7 Bengkulu City as a control class. The instrument used in the study was the observation sheet of speaking ability. Data collection techniques based on posttest results using observation sheets. Data analysis techniques are by looking for means (mean) and variance, normality test with the Liliefors formula, homogeneity test and t-test. Based on the results of the normality test that the data are normally distributed. The experimental class obtained a speaking ability score with a percentage of 78.1% in the very good criteria, while the control class spoke the ability to speak with a percentage of 64.6% in the good criteria. The t-test results showed that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected because tcount > ttable with tcount 13,6 and ttable 12,8 which means that there was an influence of children's picture stories on students' speaking abilities
