Abstract

This study aims to provide a solution to facilitate the selection of laboratory assistants at the Faculty of Technology and Computer Science, Labuhan Batu University. The solution is done by designing a decision support system (DSS) for the selection of laboratory assistants using the Electre method. This decision support system uses criteria consisting of semester grade point scores (GPS), discipline, communication, interview tests, honesty and responsibility. The alternatives used in the selection of laboratory assistants consist of 6 alternative student data. From the results of data processing using the Electre method, the Tri Erviyanti alternative with a dominant value of 1 eliminates the other 3 alternatives, so that the alternative is a student who deserves to be chosen as a laboratory assistant.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology, especially due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has spread in the community, has shifted all activities to online media including lectures at Telkom University. The e-learning information system media used is CeLOE LMS where this system is intended to support most of the online lecture activities for students during distance learning. The use of the CeLOE LMS has changed a lot from the beginning of online lectures until now, but the management of CeLOE LMS itself has never conducted research or evaluation related to satisfaction of using CeLOE LMS, it is necessary to have research related to this matter to assess the system implemented makes it easier for users according to their needs in terms of content, the accuracy of the information provided, ease of use, interface display, and timeliness in presenting the information. This research uses purposive sampling technique by distributing questionnaires through several social media platforms. The research model used is End-User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) with 6 variables involved, namely Content, Accuracy, Format, Ease of Use, Timeliness, and End-User Satisfaction using calculation analysis PLS-SEM method with SmartPLS version 3.0 tools. The sample of this research consisted of 205 respondents of active students of Telkom University undergraduate study program with a total population of 22279 students. The results of the 5 proposed hypotheses, there are 2 hypotheses that are rejected because the results of t-statistics analysis >1,97 which means that the relationship between the Accuracy (ACC) variable and the Format (FOR) variable does not significantly effect the End-User Computing Satisfaction (EUS) variable.

Abstract

The new coronavirus disease that was first identified in Wuhan, China, is referred to as the 2019 coronavirus disease pandemic (COVID-19). The impact of this pandemic has affected various fields, one of which is education, and one of the consequences is the implementation of online teaching and learning processes. In this digital era, Telkom University is implementing CeLOE LMS as an E-Learning medium. CeLOE Learning Management System (LMS) is an online learning platform for regular and distance education study programs at Telkom University. For the application of CeLOE LMS, there has been no report that contains user acceptance of the use of CeLOE LMS that tested with an integrated model. Therefore, the solution offered by this research was to conduct an analysis to determine user acceptance of the application of the CeLOE LMS system by using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) Model at Telkom University to produce report that can be used as a basis for further decision making by Telkom University in managing its services as the UTAUT Model attempts to clarify the intentions of students to use an information system and the usage actions of students. From this research, it was found that the CeLOE LMS has been accepted and used by Telkom University students with all hypotheses accepted, Performance Expectancy as the variable with the greatest influence, and it needs improvements related to technical infrastructure, organizational infrastructure, and socialization of CeLOE LMS due to the influence of Facilitating Conditions variable was the lowest.

Abstract

Abstract Education is a milestone for a nation's civilization. Apart from that, the development of information technology is increasingly rapid in the current era of globalization and its impact on the world of education is inevitable. Along with the development of information technology, especially the internet in information systems, the teaching and learning process has made use of this information technology up to the basic education level. New innovations appear to support learning activities as a result of technological developments. One of these innovations is the use of a smartphone to become an interesting and fun learning medium when it is filled with an application and educational content. The use of smartphones has expanded to various groups, to students who have now used them. With this, it is hoped that research with the creation of an information system e-learning mobile application will help maximize the student learning process easily.

Abstract

In the midst of rapid technological developments, the internet has changed people’s lifestyles, such as in terms of shopping. When shopping via the internet, one thing that needs to be considered is customer reviews. The problem arises when the number of existing customer reviews is very large, so the amount of information available is too much. To solve this problem, some online shopping platforms rank customer reviews from most helpful to least helpful. However, this system has several drawbacks, one of which is that it can be manipulated. So another way is needed to determine whether a review can help a potential customer decide to purchase a product. This study aims to create a review ranking model based on the review helpfulness from the regression review results. The method used in this study is the Random Forest Regression. There are six primary stages in this methodology, starting from collecting customer review data, preprocessing data, extracting aspects and analyzing aspect sentiment to determine the polarity of aspects, creating regression models and ranking, and analyzing the results. The results showed that the ranking model made based on the regression results had a superior performance compared to the model made based on the value of the helpfulness ratio alone. This is evidenced by the model being superior in testing the matching score which was carried out with an increase in performance of 6%.

Abstract

Course scheduling is one area of ​​operations research. This problem schedules a class without violating an existing constraint. At this time the problem of scheduling courses is becoming increasingly complex with existing limitations One of them is in International Timetabling Competition 2019 (ITC 2019) which released the latest real world dataset. This study focuses on optimizing the quality of course scheduling in order to reduce the value of the final solution of course scheduling. The algorithm used is Late Acceptance Hill Climbing (LAHC) with a hyper-heuristic approach using mutation Low Level Heuristics (LLH) and local search. The algorithm was applied to 30 ITC 2019 data sets with 100,000 iterations in 5 trials. The result is that the application of this algorithm is able to optimize with an average of 52% of the initial solution. In addition, this algorithm produces a consistent solution for 10 attempts on each dataset.

Abstract

The Office of Communication and Information Technology (DISKOMINFO) Salatiga City is a government agency that uses information technology as an important role to support business processes. For this reason, it is necessary to have risk management as a standard or guide in the handling and protection of information technology assets. The purpose of this study is to identify, analyze and manage the security risks of information technology assets and also to determine the level of risk in the security aspects of information technology assets. The application of risk management in this study uses ISO 31000: 2018 which consists of the risk identification stage, the risk analysis stage, the risk evaluation stage, and the risk treatment stage. From the results of this study, there are 2 possible low-level risks, 11 medium-level possible risks, and 4 high-level risks. From these results, DISKOMINFO Salatiga City requires special attention to the problems of frequent power outages, servers down, internet connection that often breaks, and lightning strikes.

Abstract

The role, influence and use of information technology today impacts all companies, including CV Indojaya. CV. INDOJAYA is a retread tire manufacturing company as well as a distributor to various areas in the province of Bangka Belitung. The use of information technology has the potential to determine success, success, to gain a competitive advantage for the company. Increased use of information technology must be directly proportional to the investment that has been issued. For this reason, it is necessary to have good information technology governance, by evaluating the use of IT governance. In order for the investment in Information Technology that has been issued by CV Indojaya to be comparable to the objectives, CV Indojaya must implement good Information Technology Governance. Currently CV Indojaya has used and implemented the management of information technology, but there has never been an evaluation of the management of existing information technology. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the management of information technology using the COBIT 4.1 framework. Because COBIT (Control Objective for Information and Related Technology) has an information technology framework and provides guidance based on best practices according to ISACA to managers, auditors, users to bridge business aspects, IT control and technical needs. Abstract

In the era of technology 4.0, the development of science and technology is very rapid at this time, especially internet network technology. Almost all parts of the world use this technology to find and disseminate information. Likewise in Indonesia, most of its citizens use internet technology to find and disseminate information. Based on the results of the 2018 APJII survey, internet users still have the highest percentage on the islands of Java and Sumatra. We intend to create a news portal, but this news portal will inform only news about agriculture. What is meant by agriculture here is the use of biological resources by humans to produce food, industrial raw materials, or energy sources. This news portal will be devoted to informing agricultural products and products produced by villages, so that they can be widely known and it is hoped that being widely known will improve the economy of the village community. This is in line with law number 6 of 2014 "Concerning Villages", article 86 "Information Systems for Village Development and Rural Area Development". This E-News news portal application is designed to inform news related to the agricultural sector. With the news information from the E-News news portal, the general public can find out about the development of the agricultural sector, and especially farmers get additional information related to the agricultural sector.

Abstract

Cloud gaming services provide access to high-specification online games, but can be accessed with a minimalist device. The ease of access invites new crimes and challenges violations that are found to find digital clues and evidence in uncovering cases of crimes that occur. The cloud forensic science approach remains a challenge for investigators because each cloud provider, especially cloud gaming services, has a different architecture so that further research is needed in carrying out cloud gaming forensics services. Various frameworks have been proposed by previous researchers, one of which is the Framework for Reliable Experimental Design (FRED) framework. The focus of this research is to show digital evidence of crime on the Skyegrid cloud gaming services platform by implementing FRED work steps. The important findings of this research are username, password login on Skyegrid, and log.txt file which describes the history of access to Skyegrid and online game.
