Abstract

The unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic has caused people all over the world to panic. The World Health Organization (WHO) is taking proactive measures to prevent the spread of the virus, by directing countries around the world to take measures such as social distancing, physical distancing, quarantine, and regional restrictions or known as lock down which ultimately affects various sectors of life. . This research journal discusses the Impact of Covid-19 on International Political Economy Stability. This paper focuses on the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic phenomenon, and various global problems in general, and positions the COVID-19 pandemic phenomenon from the point of view of international political economy studies as a study of International Relations. This writing uses a qualitative descriptive research method by using a literature study to systematically study the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on the stability of the International Political Economy, in order to formulate future policies in combating the pandemic. After reviewing and analyzing some of the literature, it was concluded that the stability sector of the International Political Economy is the most vulnerable and threatened to the impact of COVID-19.

Abstract

Ratam activities in the Hindu Theology Study Program are held in the framework of campus life orientation for new students (maba). In the implementation of ratam activities there are efforts to build communication and familiarity between all academic communities in the Hindu Theology Study Program. The vision of the Hindu Theology Study Program is: "Superior and Dignified Study Program of Tri Kaya Parisudha character". While the mission of the Hindu Theology Study Program is 1) Organizing quality Hindu Theology education to produce graduates of character, superiority and dignity; 2) Conduct innovative research in the development and application of Hindu Theology. 3) Organize community service in the field of Hindu Theology. Understanding of the vision and mission of the Hindu Theology Study Program by all academic community contained in it, is the fundamental point that determines the success of the work program that has been established. The background of the ratam is to socialize the vision of the Hindu Theology Study Program mission and strengthen the sense of brotherhood for the academic community in the Hindu Theology Study Program. Through the socialization of vision and mission, it is hoped that it can strengthen the understanding of the values contained in the concept of Tri Kaya Parisudha and increase solidarity between academic community in Hindu Theology Study Program.

Abstract

Bureaucratic reform is part of the organization's strategy to improve the quality of the organization's performance. The purpose of this research is to analyze the bureaucratic reform strategy in the Secretariat of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of Kepulauan Riau Province on performance during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used is descriptive qualitative, where the researcher makes observations according to the phenomena that exist within Kepulauan Riau Provincial DPRD Secretariat. Then the data analysis technique uses a logical model in accordance with the concept of performance which is part of bureaucratic reform. The results show that there is a weakening of the supporting factors in public services so that there is a weakening of organizational performance in facilities that are part of the supporting factors for Kepulauan Riau Provincial DPRD Secretariat due to the COVID-19 pandemic, besides that in the bureaucratic reform strategy, preparation and anticipation are needed in involving stakeholders if the involvement of other parties is considered necessary to encourage the improvement of the performance quality of the DPRD Secretariat of Kepulauan Riau Province.

Abstract

The wooden sculpture craft in Batubulan Kangin Village began in 1968. The learning process was more than twenty people, and took place in Guang Village. In 1970, after they were proficient at making sculptures, they taught their villages starting with statues of Garuda, Ramayana and others. These crafts have marketing opportunities and motivate craftsmen to increase their creativity. When there was the first Bali bombing, and the globalization market, these crafts experienced a decline. Based on that, the problems were posed, namely: How is the process of realizing wooden sculptures, what products are produced, and how are the ebb and flow of wooden sculptures in Batubulan Kangin Village. The purpose of this study was to describe the ebb and flow of wooden sculpture in the tourism industry in Batubulan Kangin Village. This study uses data collection techniques carried out by observation, interviews and document studies. Data analysis was carried out with a qualitative approach, based on aesthetic theory and social change. The results of this study are the process of realizing wooden sculptures starting from the exploration of ideas, shapes, selection of materials, tools, work processes and finishing. The products produced are statues of Garuda Wisnu, Rama Shinta, Hanoman, Chinese Dragon, Kwan Im, Toa Pe Kong, Buddha, Barong, Rangda, Saraswati, Sri, Durga, Lord Shiva, Ganesha and Kwan Sing Tee Koen statues. The ups and downs of wooden sculpture can be seen from 1970. In that year there were about twenty people who were skilled at making sculptures and developing them, for example the statue of Garuda, Ramayana, and others. The existence of these crafts, has marketing opportunities and motivates craftsmen to increase their creativity. When the first Bali bombing occurred, the globalization market, and the corona virus, these crafts experienced a decline, but craftsmen continued to produce these crafts.

Abstract

Language is one of the most important needs in social life. Balinese as a mother tongue is one of the identities and ancestral heritage that must be maintained and maintained properly. Existence can also be known by one word, namely existence. where existence is meant by the response from people around us which proves that our existence is recognized. This paper aims to describe the role of social media Instagram in an effort to maintain the existence of the use of Balinese language. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with descriptive analysis techniques. The results show that on Instagram social media accounts such as @wikibasabali, @Bahasa_bali which contains an online dictionary of three languages ​​(Bali-Indonesian-English), virtual libraries, the use of anggah ungguhing basa, the use of Balinese in daily life, as well as on the @beluluk account which presents humor or entertainment in the form of Balinese comics, in this case Instagram social media can be one of the media that plays a role in efforts to maintain the existence of the Balinese language.

Abstract

The aimed of this research is to describe the code writing & the function in the community of Mobile Legend Bang Bang players and the specific terms which are used of that community, especially found at Pasar Baru, Sibuntuon Parpea Villages Lintongnihuta subdistrict. An ethno sociopragmatic approach was used to analyze the data related to code writing, the function of code writing & special terms which users of the community Mobile Legend Player in the Subdistrict mentioned. Collecting the data Conducted with the technique of observation & interview. The result of the research found about 43 special terms that used of Batak Toba Language Speaker. The phenomenon of that code writing happened about the factor of limitation by using code of the speaker Which is as the users of BBT so that if it is used Batak Toba Language because less of efficient. This Phenomenon Finally affected their Communication in the real life. So, the function of code writing in this phenomenon is to optimize and to affect the use of Vocabularies in the Batak Toba Language.

Abstract

The relationship between the local government and the central government in handling COVID 19 in Indonesia is considered very bad because the existing disaster management is considered slow in breaking the chain of the spread of COVID 19. This study focuses on coordination between the central government and local governments where there are many mismatched statements in determining policies in handling COVID 19 which is confusing in the application of handling this COVID 19 disaster. The research method using a systematic literature review is one approach to the literature review method by describing the procedure for selecting publication criteria and/or literature that is reviewed with the aim of getting a broad picture related to a particular topic or issue. The results of the study indicate the need for principles of interaction between local and central government authorities in the task of handling the COVID-19 disaster that has not used a good disaster management strategy, this is because it does not implement the relationship responsibility principles of central-local government interaction so it is necessary to strengthen communication. In addition, during the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a complicated bureaucratic system in central-local government interactions

Abstract

This study aims at identifying how women respond to uncertain situations after a disaster. Women and children are frequently in a vulnerable position due to their domestic roles. The research took place in Central Sulawesi, where the massive earthquake, tsunami, and liquefaction engulfed thousands of lives and dwellings. Despite their limitation, women have become a social catalyst in enhancing optimism among the survivors. The socio-cultural background of Central Sulawesi women is an essential factor in recovering socio-economic conditions after the disaster in Central Sulawesi. Their toughness and high social care have also facilitated extensive social and economic activities, along with women activists in civil society organizations. Several non-governmental organizations under government coordination have provided rehabilitation assistance programs. The research employed qualitative approaches encompassing in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and field observations. The research indicates that women's greater participation in disaster recovery programs could be essential. Women also brought up people's optimism to bounce back faster from suffering a disaster.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the collaboration for the prevention and control of COVID-19 in Baubau City. This research is important because there are problems in the dynamics of collaboration, especially related to maintenance, as well as to describe the uniqueness that occurs. The research design used was qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documents. The data analysis technique uses an interactive model. The results of the study show that community-based collaboration has been implemented, especially in Wajo and Lakologou Villages through the construction of tough villages by having order and security toughness, information resilience, psychological toughness and cultural toughness. There is also maintenance or system maintenance. However, the maintenance or maintenance of tough villages in Lakologou Village has stronger characteristics and has more potential for sustainability. The collaboration that occurs is able to bring in new contributors, social capital and condition sustainability. A tough village with its various tools should be maintained and even improved for other interests in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze exploitative transnational crimes that are carried out directly or indirectly, with the aim of making profit for themselves and others. People smuggling is inseparable from illegal immigrants. This research method is normative-empirical qualitative in the Live Case Study group. The data collection technique used is by compiling questions and answers about Transnational Organized Crimes and compiling related literature that is still related to the titles and themes discussed in the study. The analysis of the data in this study is formed in the presentation of data (data display), data reduction (data reduction), and by drawing a conclusion. The results showed that the Directorate General of Immigration held a national coordination meeting with other government agencies such as the National Police, the Ministry of Religion, the Ministry of Manpower, and the National Agency for the Placement and Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (BNP2MI). OA surveillance is also carried out by the Directorate General of Immigration (Directorate General of Immigration) in collaboration with the National Police Security Intelligence Agency (Baintelkam). The formalization of this cooperation has been carried out in the form of a Cooperation Agreement. The conclusion in this study is prevention efforts, Immigration PPNS can make efforts to prevent the occurrence of people smuggling and trafficking in persons with Police Investigators, Ministry of Manpower Employment PPNS, BP2MI, Regional Governments based on Articles 56, 57, 58, 59 of Law no. 21 of 2007 concerning the Eradication of TP of Trafficking in Persons and Article 111 of Law no. 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration.
