The method used is a quantitative research method with a comparative causal approach. The population of this study is generation Z who live in Kota Bandung. The sample in this study was 134 people with the sampling technique using Convenience Sampling. The physical activity instrument in data collection uses the Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ). Data was analyzed using Mann Whitney U test. The description of the physical activity of the zillenial generation based on the GPAQ domain shows that in the domain of activity at work/study, travel to and from places and sedentary behavior there are no differences based on gender. Which shows that Generation Z does a lot of moderate physical activity. While in the domain of recreational activities there are differences based on gender. The results of the data analysis show the value of sig. p=0.453 > 0.05, data is significant. The results of this study concluded that there was no difference in the physical activity of zillenial generation based on gender.

But on the contrary, inadequate facilities and infrastructure will have an impact on the low quality of education, even the curriculum will not work. The method used is descriptive method. This research begins with observations made in schools. Data collection was carried out by giving questionnaires to predetermined respondents. The findings of this study mean the value of infrastructure utilization for the first respondent is 3.83, the second respondent is 3.60, and the third respondent is 3.80 with a standard deviation for the first respondent 1.58, the second respondent is 1.52 and the third respondent is 1.42. The result of the homogeneity test for the significance number is 0.642, meaning that H1 is acceptable and the data comes from a homogeneous population. The normality test results with a significance value of 0.00 means that H0 is rejected and the data has an abnormal distribution. The results of the hypothesis test using the Kruskal Wallis test with a significance number of 0.684 means that H1 is acceptable and there are significant differences in the ability of teachers to use physical education facilities and infrastructure. Based on the calculation data using the Tuckey test, respondents 1 and 2 have an average difference of 0.233 with a presentation of 23%, respondents 1 and 3 have an average difference of 0.33 with a presentation of 33%, and respondents 2 and 3 have an average of -0, 2 with a presentation - 20% has a P value. The value of respondents 1 and 2 is .821, respondents 1 and 3 are .996, and respondents 2 and 3 are .865 make all the data have a significant difference.

Abstract

Increasing muscle mass or hypertrophy is becoming a popular goal in fitness center. The circuit training method has the potential to be an alternative method to increase muscle mass because it can perform various exercises in a short time. this study aims to determine the effect of circuit training on increasing muscle mass in Sports Science students of the University of Muhammadiyah Cirebon. This study used an experimental method using a pre-test post-test design control group. Twensty male college students with an average age of 21±1.78 years old and an average body weight of 73.68±17.56 kg were divided into two groups, namely the treatment class and the control class. The treatment class is given a circuit training training method while the control class uses a traditional mothoed (multiset method). Treatment is done for 4 weeks the frequency of exercise 2-3 times per week. Body circumference (arm circumference, chest circumference, thigh circumference) are measured by measuring tape, muscle percentage and body fat percentage are measured by BIA (Bioelectrical Impedence Analysis) brand Omron type HBF-375. Data analysis using paired sample t test and independent sample t test. Based on the results of using an independent sample t test, it was found that the treatment class experienced significantly better values compared to the control class with a signification value of arm circumference of 0.013 and a thigh circumference value of 0.002 (p < 0.05). In muscle percentage, the treatment class was better than the control class with a significance value is 0.002 (p<0.05) The circuit training method was significantly better on arm circumference and thigh circumference parameters as well as muscle percentage than the traditional unprogrammed method.

Abstract

Football attracts the attention of many people because of its level of popularity. Football has spread throughout the world and is played by millions of people from children to adults, including in Indonesia. Football competitions in Indonesia are divided into League 1, League 2 (professional) and League 3 (amateur). Persid Jember is an amateur club member of the PSSI East Java (Jatim) Provincial Association (Asprov) which competes in the 2021 East Java League 3. This research aims to determine the physical condition of Persid Jember players in 2021 based on playing position. Tests and measurements were carried out to collect data on leg muscle power using the Standing Long Jump Test, speed using the 30 meter run, agility using the Illinois Agility Test and aerobic endurance using the Multistage Fitness Test (MFT). Analysis of descriptions with the average of each playing position was carried out in this study. The research results show that there are differences in physical conditions between playing positions, but the most significant is that the goalkeeper position is the lowest among the other positions. This research needs to be developed on larger research subjects considering the limitations of only one club.

Abstract

The gathering of athletes' physical condition items, specifically leg muscle endurance and cardiorespiratory endurance (VO2max) in a variety of sports at the regional training facility in Banten Province is crucial for training based on leg muscle endurance and VO2Max. Methods: This quantitative descriptive study employs the single linkage approach to examine 119 athletes from 25 different sports in Serang, Banten. One-hour data retrieval of leg muscular endurance using the Hurdle Jump test and VO2Max using the Beep test. Data analysis with R-studio. Results: Based on the results of grouping using the single link method, the following can be stated: (1) Cluster 1 consists of six sports, including Kite Flying, Hanging, Aeromodelling, Paragliding, Rugby, and Motorized (Vo2 max and low endurance); (2) Cluster 2 consists of nine sports, including Taekwondo, Baseball, Cricket, Softball, Tarung Derajat, Kempo, Basketball, Sailing, and Karate. Cluster 3 is comprised of four sports: Athletics (Jumping), Pencak Silat, Hockey, and Badminton. (4) Cluster 4 comprises six sports, including Sepak Takraw, Judo, Roller Skating, Wushu, Wrestling, and Athletics, as representatives of the grouping of sports in the Serang region of Banten. Conclusion: the need for greater muscle endurance and fitness is directly related to the intensity of aerobic exercise. But not vice versa, because sports have different characteristics, even though cardiovascular fitness is the most important factor in supporting players' physical talents.
