Abstract

Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) is one of hydroponic system with the roots of plants put on a thin layer of water that resembles a film. Circulate the water and nutrients needed by plants. Movement of nutrient solution circulation but because of the encouragement of the pump, is also caused by the slope of the gutter pipes are used. Gutter pipe slope is getting steeper can cause plants to be difficult to stand up straight and nutrients are absorbed a bit because the flow is too fast. The slope of the gutter pipe that is too small can cause nutrient flow easily clogged because the flow is too slow. Therefore, in this study the slope of the NFT gutter pipe used was 1%, 3%, 5%, and 7%. The aim is to determine the effect of NFT gutter pipe slope on the growth and yield of pakcoy. Analysis used to determine whether there is difference in the growth and production of different crops on slopes is ANOVA (Analysis of variances) in one direction because there is only one independent variable, followed by a test of Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) at 5% significance level. The results show that there are differences in average growth and crop production pakcoy using different NFT gutter pipe. NFT gutter pipe slope the best effect on plant growth (number of leaves, plant height, and root length) and pakcoy crop production (weight of the plant) is on a slope of 5%, with the results for each crop is the average number of leaf 9.1 strands, the average plant height 18.4 cm, the average length of the roots of plants 41.5 cm, and an average weight of 34.49 g plant. Abstract

Deep Flow Technique (DFT) merupakan salah satu sistem hidroponik dimana akar tanaman diletakkan dalam lapisan air dengan ketinggian 3 – 4 cm. Air tersebut tersirkulasi karena adanya dorongan dari pompa dan mengandung nutrisi sesuai kebutuhan tanaman. Beberapa model hidroponik DFT yang sudah dikembangkan diantaranya adalah model meja, model piramida, dan model anak tangga, dan ketiga model tersebut digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan terhadap rata-rata tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan berat tanaman pakcoy pada ketiga model hidroponik DFT tersebut. Analisis yang digunakan adalah Anava (Analisis Varians) one way karena hanya ada satu variabel independen pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan berat tanaman pakcoy dengan menggunakan hidroponik DFT model meja, model piramida, dan model anak tangga. Hidroponik DFT model piramida merupakan model yang menghasilkan tinggi tanaman paling baik, jumlah daun paling banyak, dan berat tanaman paling besar apabila dibandingkan dengan hidroponik DFT model meja dan model anak tangga, dengan hasil rata-rata tinggi tanaman 18.4 cm, rata-rata jumlah daun 10.8 helai, dan rata-rata berat tanaman 111.8 g.

Abstract

Aquaponik merupakan salah satu cara budidaya tanaman dengan hidroponik bersamaan dengan budidaya ikan, dimana air berputar terus tanpa berhenti. Pada sistem aquaponik tidak memerlukan nutrisi AB mix untuk memberikan unsur hara pada tanaman, tetapi unsur hara diperoleh dari air kolam ikan yang mengandung nutrisi, yang berasal dari ikan. Selada (Lactuca sativa L.) yang ditanam secara hidroponik merupakan sayuran yang digemari karena harganya tinggi dan sehat untuk dikonsumsi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya tidaknya perbedaan hasil budidaya tanaman selada secara aquaponik menggunakan tiga model hidroponik DFT. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengukuran lapangan, yang meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan berat tanaman selada, serta analisis data hasil pengukuran. Selain itu juga dilakukan pengukuran suhu, pH dan konsentrasi air kolam, serta kandungan amonia pada air kolam. Hasil pengukuran lapangan dengan hidroponik DFT model meja, model piramida, dan model anak tangga dianalisis untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan menggunakan Anava (Analisis Varians) satu jalan pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Berdasarkan Anava diketahui bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil pengukuran tanaman selada dengan menggunakan ketiga model hidroponik DFT, dan yang berpengaruh paling baik adalah model piramida, dengan hasil rata-rata 21,8 cm untuk tinggi tanaman, rata-rata 8,4 helai untuk jumlah daun, dan rata-rata 75,3 g untuk berat tanaman.

Abstract

Rumah dengan lahan pekarangan yang indah, asri, dan sehat dengan segarnya tanaman yang ada di halaman merupakan dambaan setiap manusia. Berbagai macam cara pemanfaatan pekarangan dapat dilakukan sesuai kebutuhan, diantaranya dengan bercocok tanam tanaman yang menghasilkan secara hidroponik, misalnya tanaman sayuran, tanaman buah, tanaman hias, dan tanaman obat-obatan. Peran serta wanita dalam pembangunan bidang pertanian, terutama dalam memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan rumah agar menjadi lebih produktif dapat diwadahi dalam suatu organisasi yang disebut kelompok wanita tani (KWT). Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan bekal pengetahuan dan ketrampilan kepada anggota KWT Sida Makmur Desa Pucang tentang hidroponik sederhana, serta memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan rumah sebagai sumber pangan keluarga dan pemenuhan gizi keluarga di masa pandemi covid-19. PKM ini menggunakan metode penyuluhan tentang hidroponik sederhana, yang dilanjutkan dengan diskusi mengenai materi penyuluhan, dan demonstrasi pembuatan hidroponik sederhana. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa para anggota KWT Sida Makmur Desa Pucang sangat antusias untuk mengikuti kegiatan penyuluhan hidroponik sederhana, pengetahuan tentang hidroponik sederhana meningkat, dan terjadi peningkatan ketrampilan tentang cara membuat hidroponik sederhana. Selain itu, sebagian besar anggota KWT Sida Makmur Desa Pucang termotivasi untuk memanfaatkan pekarangan rumah dengan hidroponik sederhana.

Abstract

Photovoltaic (PV) panels play a pivotal role in converting solar radiation into electrical energy. The efficiency of PV panels is susceptible to the impact of shadows and accumulated dirt on the panel surfaces. This research aims to establish a correlation between the level of dirt accumulation and the resultant power generation. The methodology employed involves a comparative analysis of power output from PV panels under clean and dusty conditions. To quantify the increase in dust over a 3-day data collection period, a glass surface was exposed outdoors to collect dust, serving as a reference for comparison with the PV panel surface. The glass, containing accumulated dust, was then subjected to data retrieval using an LED as a light source. A light intensity sensor (BH1750) was employed to measure the decrease in light intensity as dust coverage increased on the glass surface over time.The results of the PV fouling test, utilizing 10 grams of dust, indicate a relatively stable voltage generation with only a 0.8-volt loss. In contrast, the current generated experienced losses of 0.28 amperes before and after fouling. These losses significantly impact the overall power generation capacity of the PV panel. This research sheds light on the importance of mitigating dust accumulation on PV surfaces to optimize and sustain efficient solar energy conversion.

Abstract

Currently, solar panels are widely used in homes, offices, and buildings. Solar energy is converted into electrical energy by solar panels. The surface of solar panels determines how efficient they are; if the surface is dirty, the efficiency of solar panels will decrease. Therefore, they must be cleaned to maintain their effectiveness. Cleaning solar panels is one of the tasks that can be performed by an autonomous robot, which can move without the need for human control or remote control usage. To make the robot move autonomously, a camera is used to capture images of solar panels so that the robot can move on its own. The images captured by the camera will then be processed using a classic line detection algorithm (Hough line transform) to estimate the direction, in the form of the angle (theta), of the robot relative to the solar panel based on the lines detected by the algorithm. The direction of the robot relative to the solar panel determines the robot's future movement. The algorithm used (Hough line transform) has been able to estimate the direction of the robot quite well with a relatively fast processing time. Thus, it can be concluded that this research successfully determines the direction based on the available images

Abstract

This research aims to see a picture of the potential for developing paragliding sports in Indonesia, especially involving geographical areas rich in mountains and hills. Even though this sport was included in the 2000 PON XV program in East Java, students' interest in paragliding seems to be outside the development of this sport. Although various paragliding events in Indonesia stimulate student interest, the decline in the number of athletes at the secondary education level shows challenges. This research uses descriptive methods and a quantitative approach to assess the level of interest of Ciputra Surabaya Middle School students in paragliding. Using a sampling method involving quota techniques and random analysis, this research focuses on quantitative data with the aim of testing predetermined hypotheses. The research results showed that the average interest of students in class 8 was 62.74, while in class 9, it was 63.32. The frequency results show that student interest is in the medium to high category, with most students falling into that category. The conclusion is that Ciputra Surabaya Middle School students are interested in paragliding. Keywords: Sports, Paragliding Championship, Middle School

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the learning motivation of class VII students in the PJOK subject in lesson hours 7-9, which is influenced by gender factors, physical activity, and nutritional status. Research using the cross-sectional study method found that students' overall learning motivation was relatively low. The learning motivation of male students is higher (96) than female students (92). Students' physical activity is generally low (52%), with significant differences in learning motivation between physical activity categories. Most students' nutritional status is good (55%), with significant differences in learning motivation between nutritional status categories. Specifically, very low, moderate, and very low and high physical activity showed significant differences in learning motivation. Likewise, there is a comparison between poor and good nutritional status, less and more, and good and obesity. In conclusion, there are differences in student learning motivation between gender, physical activity and nutritional status. Male students' motivation tends to be higher, higher physical activity can increase learning motivation, and good dietary status supports learning motivation. Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Plyometric Barrier Hops, Front Cone Hops, Jump to Box, and Depth Jumps training on increasing the power, strength and speed of extracurricular students at SMA Muhammadiyah 10 Surabaya. This research is experimental research and the instruments in this research use Jump MD to measure power, Leg Dynamometer to measure strength, and 30 meter Sprint to measure speed. The results of this research show that plyometric training of barrier hops, front cone hops, jump to box, and depth jump can significantly increase power, strength, and speed due to sig. < 0.05. This data has significant potential for practitioners in identifying potential weaknesses and improving training methods for athletes who rely heavily on the initiation elements of power, strength, and speed.

Abstract

Physical Education, Sports and Health (PJOK) is an integral part of the education system that provides knowledge and skills in the field of physical activity and sports. Station Rotation learning is a class-based learning method that is a driving model type, which requires students to take turns completing the program. Tactical Approach learning is a planned process to perfect. game appearance. which it contains. combiner. elements of tactical circumstances. and implementation of expertise. The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of station rotation learning and Tactical Approach learning in the PJOK subject, activity material for fitness in class VII students at SMPN I Dringu. . It is hoped that the results of this research can be used by practitioners as evaluation material for science in the field of science that has been carried out with the benefits of learning the Station Rotation and Tactical Approach models. This research uses quantitative research with a quasi-experimental method (Quasi experiment) with the design of this research using Randomized Control group pretesh-posttest Design. The analysis used is average (mean), standard deviation, normality test and T test. The results of this research after being tested with Paired Samples Statistics and T Test were that there was a significant influence on the learning of the Station Rotation and Tactical Approach models with a mean of 14.78 at the pre-test and 13.32 at the post-test for male students. With a mean of 18.11 during the pre-test and 16.98 during the post-test for female students, a mean of 15.41 during the pre-test and 14.26 during the post-test for male students and a mean of 17.98 during the pre-test and 15.98 during the post-test for male students. .81 during the post test for female students
