Abstract

The position of foundation pile caps of monument constructed on coastline changed from below to above the soil surface. Therefore, the piles were driven in a free-standing condition and then covered with beach sand soil. This research aims to analyze the frictional resistance of buried pile, then compare it with the frictional resistance of ordinary piles. Practical analysis methods and finite element methods using RS Pile software are compared to obtain a representative method. The comparison results show that the Meyerhof method has the closest soil bearing capacity behavior to the field test results. Based on the results, the skin friction of buried piles is 52% - 57% lower than ordinary piles. This decrease occurred because the assumed value of the angle of friction in the soil was lower because the soil around the pile was not as dense as in ordinary conditions which compacted during the driving process.

Abstract

Risks during project implementation are often related to lack of resources, design changes, which can result in work delays and increased costs. The aim of the research is to examine risks with a large impact in causing delays and effective ways to reduce them on construction projects in the Banjarbaru and Banjarmasin areas. This research involves data collection using qualitative method research through questionnaires, which are then analyzed using the Severity Index method combined with the Probability-Impact Matrix and House of Risk. The results of the identification of 5 dominant risks, namely quality checks at the same time as work implementation, staff organization, limited funds, inappropriate or uncomfortable PPE used during implementation, workers being too confident that they will not get hurt. Recommendations for dealing with project delays that can be achieved through setting appropriate specifications, evaluating the level of labor productivity and budget changes, checking quality according to standards, socializing the dangers of project accidents, monitoring in accident management, updating material and labor estimates, providing PPE.

Abstract

In the implementation of construction such as the Joyoboyo Tunnel, there are always risks that can arise in every activity or work on the project. The purpose of this study is to analyze the causes, impacts and responses to the most dominant risks and control methods to reduce the risk of work accidents in the Joyoboyo Tunnel Construction project. Data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires with data analysis techniques through Risk Identification and Assessment and Bowtie. The results of the study stated that the causal factors for the risk of "Land prone to landslides" with a risk value of 25. Then the causal factors for the risk of "Low oxygen levels" with a risk value of 20. For the causal factors for the risk of "Scaffolding has not been installed properly" and the causal factors for the risk of "Falling Material in Excavation" with a risk value of 16 with high risk category

Abstract

Population growth in Indonesia is increasing slowly every year, making land purchase prices increasingly expensive. Because of this, it is necessary to optimize land so that the buildings used meet needs, namely using Highest and Best Use (HBU) method. The land is on Jl. Keputih Tegal Timur, Kel. Keputih, Kec. Sukolilo, Surabaya, is an empty land with a land area of 1,320 m². Highest and Best Use (HBU) method includes legal aspects, physical aspects, financial aspects and maximum productivity. From the results of the analysis usingthree alternative buildings, a building was obtained boarding house as an alternative that can increase land value by IDR 59.697591 per m2 in a period of 10 years. Until boarding house worthy because it has a productivity value of 497.48%.
