Abstract

This study aims to analyze 1) the distribution of family labor, 2) family income based on the allocation of distribution of labor, non-tidal rice farming and non-agricultural businesses, 3) factors that influence the labor of tidal rice farmers low tide in Kumpeh District, Muaro Jambi Regency. Pematang Raman Village and Tanjung Village were determined as samples purposively. The total sample was 86 farmers, data processing was carried out quantitatively. The research results showed that the total outflow of farmer labor was 187 HOK/year, which was distributed by 12.1 percent to rice farming, 18.9 percent to non-rice farming and 64.0 percent to non-agricultural businesses. The average farming family income is IDR. 8,532,658/year, rice farming in tidal fields amounting to Rp. 11,255,814/year, non-rice farming of Rp. 13,874,535/year, non-agricultural businesses with the highest contribution of 41.2 percent in non-agricultural businesses. Land area, number of family dependents, level of education and rice farming income have a positive and real influence on the amount of labor, while the farmer's age factor has a negative influence on the amount of farmer's working hours.

Abstract

The area of land used, and the visual conditions of the agricultural landscape are required. This research aims to identify land use and activities in the agricultural sector, identify the visual conditions of the agricultural landscape, and provide recommendations for planning agricultural tourism activities. This research is qualitative research which is useful for further exploring the data needed where the research variables are visual quality and community perception, especially farmers, and combined using a quantitative approach using Scenic Beauty Estimation (SBE) data analysis to evaluate visual quality and descriptive statistics to determine farmer perceptions. Cukilan Village. The results of this research show that the agrotourism landscape planning for Cukilan Village can be implemented well and has different agricultural commodities in each planting season. The conclusion of this research is based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the planning of agrotourism activities in Cukilan Village, especially in some villages such as Krajan 2, Salak, Patran, Banjaran Gunung, Banjaran Cengklik has different agricultural products every month. The visual quality in Cukilan Village has natural landscape visuals and gets a medium average score, which means it can give a beautiful and attractive impression to tourists.

Abstract

Gunungkidul Regency is known to have diverse agricultural potential, including cocoa, which is one of the leading plantation crops in this area. This research aims to determine the production base and area of cocoa plantations in Gunungkidul Regency. The data used in this research includes land area and cocoa production over the last five years, obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and related agencies. Location Quotient (LQ) analysis determines the cocoa crop base based on land area and production in Gunungkidul Regency. Based on the results of research on determining land area and production bases, it is known that there are three (3) sub-districts (Ponjong, Karangmojo, Patuk) in the Gunungkidul region whose LQ value is more than one (>1). There are three (3) sub-districts (Nglipar, Playen, Gendangsari) with LQ results of less than one (<1). The research results show that cocoa plants have the potential to continue to be developed in Gunungkidul, with the need to increase production efficiency and more intensive policy support

Abstract

This research aims to (1) describe the description of the fried pineapple jam agroindustry in Muaro Jambi Regency, (2) analyze the Added Value of fried pineapple jam in Muaro Jambi Regency and (3) analyze Cost Plus Pricing pricing using the Full Costing Approach. The data analysis method used is a descriptive method using the Hayami Method value added analysis auxiliary table and using the Cost Plus Pricing Method. Based on the results of the Cost Plus Pricing analysis, the mark up for fried pineapple jam for wholesale sales is an average of IDR 63,333 / kg and the retail sales price is IDR. 100,000/Kg, the average profit and mark up is currently IDR 34,879.77 for wholesale sales and retail sales of IDR. 52,627.95 agro-industry already uses high mark ups, there is a large difference from the sales price. If the agro-industry is willing to reduce it to 75.73%, the price for wholesale sales will be Rp. 50,000 and retail sales use a mark up of 89.99, the price is Rp. 90,000, this will increase competitiveness in the market, causing production and sales to increase, profits will be high.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to determine the influence of price, fruit quality, shop atmosphere, service quality and location on the decision to purchase imported fruit in the modern market of PangkalpinangCity . The time and place of this research was carried out from July 2023 to September 2023 in the modern markets of Pangkalpinang City, namely Transmart and Grand Puncak Lestari. The research method used was purposive sampling with a sample size of 100 respondents. Data analysis uses SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square) analysis. The research results show that price, shop atmosphere and location have a direct influence on the decision to purchase imported fruit in the modern market of Pangkalpinang City. Meanwhile, fruit quality and service quality do not influence the decision to purchase imported fruit in the modern market in Pangkalpinang City.

Abstract

 This research aims to analyze internal and external problems consisting of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats as well as strategies for developing the sweet potato chips business in the Opang Madangu business group in Bidipraing Village, Lewa Tidahu District, East Sumba. This type of research uses descriptive and quantitative research methods. This research involved 12 informants. The accidental sampling method was used. The data analysis method used is SWOT analysis to determine the evaluation matrix of internal factors (IFE), external factors (EFE), internal-external (IE), strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats (SWOT), and strategic plans, as well as a quantitative matrix (QSPM). The research results show that the internal element which is the most important strength is the abundance of raw materials, and the biggest weakness is the lack of knowledge, and the external factor which is the biggest opportunity is cooperation from other industries or market partners. The biggest threat to the sweet potato chips business in the Opang Madangu business is consumer taste changes. The main strategy for developing Opang Madangu commercial chips is product innovation so that consumers have more diverse choices.

Abstract

This research aims to describe farmers' perceptions of the young farmer regeneration crisis in the modernization era, the challenges and difficulties faced by young farmers, develop policy recommendations and solutions to overcome the young farmer regeneration crisis and advance rural agriculture in Bojonegoro Regency. The method used is the Mix Method by combining qualitative and quantitative. The population in this study were all farmers in Nguken Padangan Village, Bojonegoro, totaling 220 people with a perception sample of 142 farmers. Meanwhile, the sample measured the regeneration of 41 farmers using purposive sampling and snowball techniques. The research results showed that farmers' perception of young regeneration was still less than 40%. The challenge for young farmers is limited access to capital, technology and less skilled human resources. The difficulty faced is the lack of training and experience of the younger generation, agriculture currently does not promise prosperity for young people. Strategies that can be proposed include holding training on agricultural technology, providing subsidies, conducting outreach regarding more promising agricultural potential and providing counseling regarding financial management.

Abstract

Various efforts have been made by the government to increase farmers' income in order to prevent disparities by creating a self-sustaining economic system, one of which is by developing agricultural businesses through partnership models. This research aims to analyze the level of satisfaction among tamanu farmers regarding the partnership model with PT Sinergi Natural Nusantara. The methods used are CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) and IPA (Importance Performance Analysis). Farmers feel satisfied with their partnership with PT Sinergi Natural Nusantara, as indicated by a CSI score of 77.4%. PT Sinergi Natural Nusantara can evaluate the attributes that need improvement in order to enhance the quality of the company's services

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the first ratoon yield of several sorghum varieties with different ratooning times. This research was carried out in the Greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture, Mataram University from August to December 2023. The design used in this research was a factorial completely randomized design (CRD) with two factors studied, namely plant variety and ratoon phase. The plant varieties used are Bioguma, Gando Keta, Super 2, Suri 4. Ratooning was carried out on 3 different phases of the main plant which are flag leaf, flowering, and harvest phase. The results showed that the Gando Keta variety had the highest number of seeds and seed weight. The highest 100 seed weight was shown by Suri 4 and Super 2, while the highest dry matter weight was found in Beoguma and Super 2 varieties. The highest number of seeds, seed weight, and 100 seed weight were shown by flag leaf phase ratooning, while the highest dry grain weight was shown in the harvest time ratooning. The highest dry grain weight was obtained in the Bioguma variety with harvest time ratooning, while the highest yield (seed weight) was obtained by Gando Keta at the flag leaf phase ratooning.

Abstract

Empowerment is an effort to improve the welfare of disadvantaged communities, aligning with the goals of Sharia economics. Community involvement is integral to this process. This research aims to provide a general overview of the importance of community involvement in the empowerment process. This research is a literature study whose data source comes from articles with the keyword "Community Participatory Empowerment". This research was taken from open knowledge maps. Selected articles were published in 2020-2024. The research results show that community involvement is very important to make empowerment easier, participatory communication with the community can make it easier to take policies without creating friction with the community, and the government's role in the empowerment process is important either as a regulator, dynamizer, or facilitator.
