Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the critical discourse analysis of Kompas.com and Republika.co.id in reporting on the proposed postponement of the election which was rolled out by Muhaimin Iskandar as a political ijtihad. Using a qualitative approach with the critical discourse analysis method of the Van Dijk Model, several theories in research place Image Theory, Ijtihad Theory as supporting theories for the main theory. The results of the study show how each media in March equally objectively discussed themes related to the proposed postponement of the elections initiated by Muhaimin Iskandar and several political party leaders. This conclusion is reinforced by the macro structure, super structure, and macro structure which mutually reinforce the theme. The situation was different when the phenomenon of rejection began to emerge towards the idea of postponing the elections in April 2022. Even though the discourse that was presented seemed to be the same, if observed in detail there were differences that emerged between the two media. Kompas.com at this moment still tends to be objective in discussing Muhaimin's mature attitude, which seems not to insist on continuing his idea. Republika.co.id presents different discourse concepts through macro-structure, super-structure and micro-structure which tend to be unfavorable to Muhaimin's position, one of which is because he makes joke-like quotes as headlines. In the perspective of ijtihad in the field of self-image politics, what Muhaimin Iskandar has done through the proposed postponement of the 2024 elections can be called the seriousness of the parties concerned to build their own image.

Abstract

Perusahaan memiliki peranan penting sebagai penopang pertumbuhan ekonomi rakyat melalui program Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), khususnya dalam rangka pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat pesantren secara mandiri melalui pengembangan konsep santripreneur, dimana para santri tidak hanya mendalami kajian agama namun juga didorong mereka memiliki potensi semangat kewirausahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini ingin mendeskripsikan implementasi pemberdayaan masyarakat pesantren dalam mengembangkan santripreneur melalui program CSR yang dilakukan oleh PT. Bogasari di Pondok Pesantren An-Nawawi Tanara, Serang Banten. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang diperoleh melakukan observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Analisis data dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian mengambarkan implementasi program CSR yang dilakukan PT. Bogasari melalui beberapa tahap yaitu (1) identifikasi profil kelompok sasaran program, (2) merumuskan hasil kunjungan, (3) pemberian pelatihan, (4) peminjaman bantuan peralatan usaha dan bahan baku, (5) distribusi dan pemasaran produk yang dihasilkan, (6) pendampingan dan monitoring, (7) evaluasi program.

Abstract

In early 2020, Indonesia and almost all countries worldwide faced the Covid-19 pandemic. The government issued a regulation to implement online learning activities in the education sector. Responding to the regulation, the Directorate General of Tax issued a policy stating that the dissemination activities can be done online. Effective communication is needed to fill the gap between information delivered by the dissemination officer and taxpayers' understanding. Therefore, the online tax education in the Makassar Utara Tax Office is required to be presented attractively to change the taxpayers' behaviors. The present study aims to analyze the communication effectiveness in online tax dissemination held by the Makassar Utara Tax Office. Conducted in the Makassar Utara Tax Office, this quantitative action research involved 105 taxpayers classified as high compliance risk, recruited using a probability sampling technique. The primary data were collected using a questionnaire, while the secondary data were gathered from literature and the Makassar Utara Tax Office reports. The study found that online learning communication in tax dissemination was very effective. Most taxpayers access tax-related information more than five times a year to fulfill their tax obligation. Most taxpayers stated that the online dissemination was presented attractively, clearly, and relevant to their tax-related needs.

Abstract

Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Memilki ribuan santri dengan latar belakang budaya yang bermacam macam, dan berdasarkan jalur masuknya para santri Pondok Modern Darusslam Gontor dibagi menjadi 2 yaitu Intensif dan Reguler,  pada tahun ajaran 2022 M/1444 H total jumlah seluruh santri di Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor kampus pusat ada 4632 santri dan santri dari Jakarta dan Bogor merupakan santri terbanyak di Pondok Gontor Pusat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adaptasi yang terjadi pada santri kelas 3 dan 3 intensif KMI dalam konteks komunikasi antarbudaya di PMDG dan mengetahui faktor faktor yang mempengaruhi adaptasi budaya santri kelas tiga dan 3 intensif KMI di PMDG. Teori yang digunakan adalah Komunikasi Antarbudaya  dan lima faktor adaptasi meneurut Young Yun Kim. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode metode grounded research dan teknik studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan studi lapangan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan cara Reduksi Data, Penyajian Data atau Display Data kemudian Kesimpulan dan Verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa santri PMDG Konsulat Jakarta kelebihan dalam beradaptasi dan berkomunikasi antar budaya dari santri Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Konsulat Bogor ditinjau dari 5 faktor adaptasi yang dikemukakan oleh Young Yun Kim.

Abstract

Muktamar merupakan permusyawaratan terbesar Muhammadiyah yang dilaksanakan setiap lima tahun. Pelaksanaan Muktamar ke-48 ditunda dua tahun karena Covid-19 dan dikhawatirkan hilangnya awareness masyarakat terhadap Muktamar. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan strategi branding untuk mempertahankan eksistensi perhelatan akbar ini. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis strategi branding Muktamar Muhammadiyah ke-48 di media digital dalam mempertahankan citra dan eksistensi. Metode penelitian ini kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik Snowball Sampling dan teori Integrasi Informasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Muktamar 48 menghadirkan kesan Muhammadiyah organisasi islam modern yang siap menghadapi era digitalisasi, cinta kebersihan, tertib, gembira dan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Kesan positif juga dapat ditemui pada brand personality ramah, sopan santun, lembut, mengedukasi, menginspirasi, cerdas, dan bermartabat. Identity brand ditunjukan dalam bentuk logo, lagu, tagline, dan brand guidelines. Untuk menjangkau audiens yang luas maka Panitia Muktamar memaksmalkan peran media mainstream dan digital serta agar pesan tersampaikan dengan baik dilakukan strategi pengorganisasian pesan media official dan memperhatikan kredibilitas informasi dengan memberlakukan sistem layer berjenjang yang berfungsi mengontrol, verifikasi, dan validasi seluruh informasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggambarkan peralihan (migrasi) Radio Suara Tebuireng dari analog ke digital internet (radio streaming). Ini dikarenakan (1) teknologi digital telah meminggirkan radio dan membawanya pada dua pilihan, mati atau beradaptasi, (2) adanya keterbatasan slot frekuensi radio berijin (IPP) di Kabupaten Jombang. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan metode studi kasus. Hasil studi menunjukkan peralihan Suara Tebuireng dari analog ke digital internet, pertama, memanfaatkan radio aplikasi berbasis android yang bisa diunduh di google playstore. Kedua, melakukan konvergensi konten media untuk radio aplikasi dan medsos. Ketiga, adanya efisiensi mulai dari program, biaya operasional, jumlah SDM dan peralatan siar, disamping kelemahankelamahannya. Migrasi tersebut mendukung Suara Tebuireng tetap eksis meski tidak lagi mengudara secara analog.

Abstract

Setiap da’i perlu memperhatikan metode dakwah untuk keefektifan dakwahnya. Pemilihan metode dakwah tersebut harus dapat menyesuaikan kondisi dan situasi mad’u (objek dakwah) sehingga dakwah dapat berjalan efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode dakwah Nyai Naimah yang digunakan dalam Program Dialog Agama di Radio Nada FM Sumenep sekaligus motif dan kepuasan masyarakat Sumenep terhadap dakwahnya. Konsep yang digunakan untuk menganalisis bentuk dakwah tersebut diambilkan dari Al-Qur’an surah An-Nahl ayat 125 dan penerimaan masyarakat menggunakan Teori Uses and Gratification. Penelitian kali ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Sumber data berasal dari wawancara, observasi, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan metode dakwah yang digunakan Nyai Naimah sesuai dengan konsep Al-Qur’an yaitu Mujadalah billati hiya ahsan. Sebuah metode dengan cara diskusi atau bertukar pikiran yang baik tanpa adanya paksaan dan memberatkan kepada semua pihak dalam dakwah. Sedangkan, motif masyarakat Sumenep dalam mendengarkan dakwah tersebut untuk menambah pengetahuan keagamaan sekaligus menciptakan jiwa yang tenang, untuk mencari jawaban terkait problematika hidup berdasar hukum Islam, untuk mengubah perilaku menjadi lebih positif sehingga bisa diamalkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Metode dakwah tersebut juga memberikan kesempatan bertanya sehingga bisa mendapatkan konsumsi ceramah sesuai kebutuhan, situasi, dan kondisi audien.

Abstract

The LGBTQ+ phenomenon has been increasingly spreading in society lately, especially on social media, where campaigns and support for the normalization of this phenomenon are easily found, even among the majority Muslim population in Indonesia. However, based on Islamic teachings, such behavior is considered deviant and should be condemned. One of the efforts to contain the spread of this phenomenon is carried out by the Instagram account @taulebih.id, an Islamic sexuality education platform. This research aims to understand the message packaging strategies in the content uploaded by @taulebih.id. The research utilizes Phillip Mayring’s qualitative content analysis method, based on the Tarbiyah Jinsiyah theory proposed by Nasih Ulwan. During the month of June 2022, @taulebih uploaded content related to countering LGBT+ in various forms, including single posts, carousel posts, and reel videos with anti-LGBTQ+ topics. The messages are presented in the form of comics, depicting snippets of daily interactions within families and classrooms. The language used is adapted to everyday usage. Each content also includes references such as journals, books, or articles to strengthen the credibility of the conveyed message. In general, @taulebih takes a stance against LGBTQ+ by delivering firm messages, yet in a friendly manner, and making efforts to embrace those who are perceived as deviating.

Abstract

This research investigated the Challenging of Pesantren Students on Technology Era 4.0. Technology from time to time is developing. It could be challenging for people, especially for students at Pesantren. They could not reach devices as they want. They lived in a place where conducted limited devices. The research purpose was used to answer the “How are Pesantren students challenging technology 4.0?”. It was conducted with a single case study. To collect the data, the researcher used setting or natural conditions, primary and secondary source data, and most data that got from observation, interviews, and documents. The steps of data collection are data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. Trustworthiness was used in this study to make it reliable and valid. The researcher drew the conclusion based on the findings and discussions of the data; it can be concluded that there are two conclusions. First, technology era 4.0 for Pesantren students gave a positive effect. The discipline of the place where they live avoided the negative aspect of technology such as hoax news, and being a creative person because of the limitation of accessing the internet. They live in real life physically and psychologically. From a health aspect, they avoided radiation. Thus, they focused on their era now in a health condition. Second, technology era 4.0 for Pesantren students gave negative effects such as they only the users, not the developer or creators. The researcher hopes, that further researchers will be better, more complete, and more wonderful in their analysis of the media and social development aspect of the education section

Abstract

Flexing behavior or flaunting wealth on social media has become a common phenomenon that can have a negative impact. Driven by the ease of sharing on social media, people tend to compete to flaunt their possessions in order to gain recognition and praise from others. Therefore, this study wants to find out more about how this flexing phenomenon is understood through the subjects studied. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The result of this study is that flexing behavior has a negative impact on the mental health of the individuals involved, due to the lack of validation and acceptance in the social environment. Even though there are views that take advantage of flexing in marketing, in Islamic economics this culture is still considered excessive and contrary to Islamic rules. Therefore, social media users need to understand the prohibition and build an identity without a flexing strategy.
