Gramatika: Jurnal Ilmiah Kebahasaan dan Kesastraan
Gramatika is a journal that is the media of publishing the results of language research and literature. The journal is published by Kantor Bahasa Maluku Utara, Badan Pengembangan dan Pembinaan Bahasa, Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan, Republik Indonesia. Gramatika is first published in 2013 based on SK No. 0005.0114/JI.3.2/SK.ISSN/2013.08 with ISSN (print) 2338-8285 and EISSN (online) 2599-3283. Kantor Bahasa Maluku Utara publishes the journal twice a year: June and December.

This research studies the speech acts of expressive criticism on Banjar language. It aims to describe the realization of (1) the speech acts of expressive criticism forms on Banjar language, and (2) the maxims violation on expressive criticism acts on Banjar language. The method of this research is descriptive qualitative. Data of this research was elicited through recording technique, note-taking and bibliography reviewing, from June 2015 to December 2015. This research concludes that that (1) the speech acts of expressive criticism forms on Banjar language were related to jobs, parts of the body, things wearing, and kinship, and (2) the maxims violation on expressive criticism acts on Banjar language are violations of acceptances, compatibility, mercy, and wise.

This research discusses about Asmat myth “Fumiripits” in Anthropological Literary Study. The problem is how the structure of Asmat myths “Fumiripits” in Anthropological Literary Study is. This research used descriptive-analytical method. This method is used in social researches to systematically and accurately describe facts and characteristics of certain population. in its techniques, the researcheranalyzed its intrinsic and extrinsic elements in Asmat myth “Fumiripits” so Anthropological componentsin oral and text of Asmat myth “Fumiripits” could be found. The Asmat philosophical concept showsthat the myth “Fumiripits” is the story of their origin. Finally, the researcher concludes that anthropological literary study can be applied in myths research.

There are tradition value shifting and culture awareness fading in Poso and Palu which becomes one ofmany reason behind the conflict on those cities. According to that point, one of strategic step whichshould be taken is to explore the local wisdom which has existed on the local literature because the local wisdom has commonly established the literature. The exploration needs to be introduced, not only to theliterature society but also to the common. This step must be done in order that the common society could understand the local wisdom of the cities. There are some alternative strategies which can be taken to minimalize the conflict in the area. Those are education guiding based on local wisdom, optimalizing the function of mass media in socializing local wisdom, increasing the function of art communities in exploring the local wisdom, and increasing the funtion of government institution in implementing the local wisdom.

Aspects of language in official letter is a very vital thing. It’s possible because through language, important official information can be well achieved. Therefore, the language in the official letters needs to be organized in such a way. The method used in this research was descriptive analytical method with documentation technique. The purpose of this study was to describe the forms of diction and sentences errors in official letters in Makassar’s Mayor Office. The results obtained were the findings of thirteen errors of language comprising six forms of diction errors together with seven forms of sentence errors.

This paper present an analysis of stilistika in poem “Tasbih” Emha uses neutral words with religius meaning. One of the factors that couse of its religiousness arise because of the mulitude of human being who have renounced the religiusness. Furthermore, although it does not countain, but it has a deep meaning. Emha also does too many gramatical irregularities to produce an effect of his poetry.

Language and literature, as well as myth, painting, music, belief, and behavior are all simbols that have meanings. The symbolic forms have close links with the epistemological concepts of knowledge system of Sasak. Thus, the relationship between symbolic forms (literature or language) with a system of knowledge allows us to be able to know the knowledge of a particular system of reality or the perception of the world through their literature. Sasak system of knowledge of reality or the perception of the world can be revealed by examining the Sasak ethnic literature. This research revealed the system of Sasak knowledge of reality or perspective on the world and dismantled the cultural symbols that form the world view of the Sasak folk songs “Kadal Nongak”. The signs examined were icons,indexes, and symbols in folk songs “Kadal Nongaq”.

Adolescents have opportunity to create their language’s styles that are colloquial and can be laid inwriting. The style of the adolescents’ language are included in the group of social style that marking given social ranks that could be expressed in mass media. The languages that are used by journalist are called journalistic style. Although they were expressed in written language, the adolescents’ styles of language are spoken language styles that are written. They can be observed in every word orderthat forms sentences in RRYS Radar Bali, Jawa Pos. The purpose of this research is finding the pattern usage of Indonesian by adolencent in journalistic style by doing the observation and applying descriptive qualitative method. There are some finding of inconsistency to the application of rules in Indonesian language (1) the word spelling, (2) punctuation, (3) and diction. in the case of diction, the adolescents ’journalistic style it is due to the journalists’ lack of knowledge in the good and accurate Indonesian language and the inconsistency of journalists in expressing something in written form within formalmedia. as a consequence, the output of the study is hoped have contributions in order to guide anddevelop Indonesian language to beginner journalists.

This research is accomplished to understand the triggers of the university students’ motivation in writing through social medium networks which is suspected by writing-matrix project, it is wellknown as ‘communicator authenticity’ which provides an authentic textual interaction. It is realized that the frequency of students’ writing activity on social media is a wonderful phenomena if it is compared to their writing activity in the classroom. This qualitative descriptive research used questionnaire as the instrument in collecting the data, which are then analyzed by applying theory of emotion, motivation, and computerized learning media. This research concluded that communicator authenticity is not the only trigger of students’ motivation to write on social medium, but the value and the meaning given by the students toward the social media itself that play an important role. Features, easiness, and emotional fulfillment to write are the other triggers which motivate students to write frequently on the social media. The academic significance of this research shows an opportunity for the lecturer to increase students writing motivation in the classroom-based writing activity or in the other academic contexts.

Kadai is one of vernacular language found in North Maluku that spoken by Kadai etnic. This paper aims at to describe the pronoun of Kadai language. Collective data is done by using observation method, interview method, and evaluation method. Those collective data is then analyized by structural approachment and distributional method by using basic and contininou technique. The result shows that Kadai has the pronoun of noun, namely aku ‘I’, io ‘she/he/it’, kami ‘we’, kito ‘we’, kou ‘you’, ke ‘you’, dan matu ‘they’, demonstrative pronoun, namely yai ‘this/that’ and yo ‘those/these’, and introgative pronoun, namely woi ‘who’ and mansa ‘what’.

This study aims to describe the meaning of poem ‘Elegi Laut’ written by Sofyan Daud based on Riffaterre’s semiotic approach. The method used on this study is a qualitative method through heuristic and hermeneutic reading techniques. The result of this study shows that the poem of Sofyan Daud’s ‘Elegi Laut’ worked using literary conventions (indirectness), change of meaning (displacing) in the form of metaphor, and creating of meaning in the form of homologues 'common sense' and the strengthening of meaning. The variants refer to the same matrix, ie human beings as the actor of ecological imbalance itself. The matrix of Elegi Laut brings this poem to a textual hipogram as in Mangunwijaya work’s Ikan-Ikan Hiu, Ido, Homa
