Abstract

The teaching and learning process is important in learning effective and efficient learning outcomes with the activities of students who are actively involved in learning. This study aims to improve student learning activeness in the Integrated Social Sciences learning process and improve students' understanding through Index Card Match learning in Class IX MTS Gemolong State. The method used in the study is Class room Action Research, the implementation of which is carried out in two cycles. Data collection uses Observation. The results of the study at MTS Gemolong State showed that student activity increased pre cycle 61.56%. In the first cycle the speed became 70.22%, and the second cycle became 96.57%. Increased learning outcomes of students who have fulfilled the completeness value that is pre cycle is 8.33%. Then in the first cycle increases, which is to 72.22% and increases again in the second cycle to 75%.Keywords:Learning Activity, Learning Model, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Salah satu yang perlu dibenahi agar proses pembelajaran dapat terlaksana dengan baik adalah perbaikan kualitas tenaga pengajarnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengembangan inovasi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode diskusi kelompok agar dapat mengetahui dan menganalisis adanya peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam memahami dan menganalisis materi yang didiskusikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada mahasiswa semester 1 mata kuliah Ilmu Alamiah Dasar di Program Studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram dengan jumlah 23 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, tes dan dokumentasi melalui tahap perencanaan pembelajaran (plan), tahap pelaksanaan pembelajaran (do), dan tahap refleksi (See). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang sangat signifikan dalam pengembangan inovasi pembelajaran  yang dapat dilihat dari open lesson 1, 2, dan 3. Adanya peningkatan kemampuan serta keaktifan pembelajaran mahasiswa dipengaruhi oleh ketersediaan perangkat pembelajaran yang maksimal, media pembelajaran yang bisa mengasah pola pikir mahasiswa seperti mengamati, mengidentifikasi, menganalisis, menemukan hal yang baru, mengkomunikasi, dan dapat menyimpulkan materi perkuliahan.Kata Kunci : Inovasi, Metode Diskusi kelompok One that needs to be addressed so that the learning process can be done well is to improve the quality of the teachers. This research was conducted to improve the development of learning innovations by using group discussion methods to find out and analyze an increase in students' ability to understand and analyze the material being discussed. This research was conducted in the first semester students of Basic Natural Sciences in the Pancasila and Civic Education Study Program at the Muhammadiyah University of Mataram with a total number of 23 people. Data collection techniques was gained by observation, tests and documentation through the stages of learning planning (plan), the stage of implementing learning (do), and the reflection phase (See). The results of this study indicate that there is a very significant improvement in the learning innovations that can be seen from open lessons 1, 2, and 3. The improvement in the ability and activeness of student learning is influenced by the availability of maximum learning tools, learning media that can storm the mindset of students such as observing, identifying, analyzing, discovering new things, communicating, and being able to conclude lecture material.Keyword : Innovation, Method Group discussion

Abstract

In this modern era the world of prostitution has always been a social issue that appeals to everyone in the neighborhood of rural and urban communities. This is what the world calls in a world of prostitution that includes behavior in the use of things, the world of competition, and the language used for use. While this research uses descriptive qualitative approach, using Interpretative paradigm that focuses more on the paradigm of phenomenology, etnosaince, and ednometodologi. Technique of writing data in this research use language, interview, and study of documentation. The results of the study show that (1) Social behavior of prostitutes in the use of objects such as condoms are very important in the world to serve its customers during sexual intercourse. Without condoms, CSWs are afraid to serve their customers. The use of condoms for referrals for CSWs to avoid the condition of infectious diseases. (2) In the social behavior of prostitutes in the prostitution world there is competition between fellow CSWs in different lokalisasion, the competition is not only done physically, by displaying a captivating appearance, but here more on the mystical rivalry, using the help of shamans, very closely with the CSWs. Competition is done to burden other CSWs or to attract customers. (3) The language of prostitutes for use in prostitution is different from the prostitution. The language that prostitutes in the world of prostitution is very dirty, hard, and often do curses.                                                                                                                      Keywords: social behavior, commercial sex workers, prostitution

Abstract

Artikel ini menjelaskan konsep pendidikan Islam yangmengarah pada pendidikan integratif.Selama ini konsep integrasisering diidentikkan dengan integrasi keilmuan saja, padahal secarakeseluruhan konsep integrasi masih bersifat general.Konsepliberalisme pendidikan menekankan pada prinsip problem solvingtentang kehidupannya sendiri secara efektif.ketika merujuk konseputama tentang liberalisme pendidikan maka tujuan yangdiharapkan adalah tentang integrasi antara teori dan praktek. Abstract

Gender is a social construction or form so that it can be formed or changed according to place, time or age, ethnicity, race, culture, social status, religious understanding, country, ideology, politics, law and economy. The purpose of this study was to analyze the promotion of positions with the perspective of gender equality both men and women in the government bureaucracy. The method used in this study is a library research method using a descriptive analysis approach. The result of this study is that the role or participation of women in the government bureaucratic structure has exceeded that of men and has experienced gender justice or equality, but there is still a small gap between female civil servants who are difficult for echelon pratama positions.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effectiveness of a thematic-based learning system regarding Indonesian culture and local wisdom for elementary school at Nurul Islam School Yogyakarta with observation and participatory approach. This study uses a thematic learning method which is an integration of learning from various interrelated subjects, with sub-methods including the process of observing, asking, trying, reasoning and communicating. As well as sub-methods of working together between parents and children to foster emotional closeness in the family. The result showed that the thematic-based social learning process was effective and was able to become a means for children of primary school age to know their identity as the Indonesian nation.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to address the problem of learning in the classroom by using Course Review Horay (CRH) model. The problems of learning  in the class XI IPS 1, as a scope of this study, is very low level of learning activities in sociology which also resulted in low level of the learning outcomes. The measure of the success of learning outcomes is KKM (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal/ Criterion for Minimum Completeness). The KKM of class XI IPS 1 SMAN 1 Gebog Kudus is 65. The design of this study is CAR (Classroom Action Research) or PTK (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas). This study was done in a cyclical way, using CRH learning model. The results of the research in cycle 1 show that the average of student’s activities in learning is 81.49% and is categorized as good. Student learning outcomes classically who reached the KKM amounted to 84.62% of the total students in the class, while the others 15.38%  have not reached the KKM. The classical mastery learning in cycle 1 has not been reached. The suggestions from supervisors and collaborators at the end of cycle 1 as a reflection inputs, will be used to improve the quality of teaching process in the next cycle. The results of the research in cycle 2 show that the average of student’s activities in learning process is 82.94% and is categorized as good. The classical learning outcomes show that 88.46% of the students reached the KKM, while 11.54% of the students have not reached the KKM. In cycle 2, the classical mastery learning has been achieved. The student’s responses show that 100% of the students are interested in learning model that is applied, or in K13, known as mastery learning. Students who have not complete or reached the KKM will take remedial learning test based on the achievement of learning objectives and indicators. While for the students who have completed study, we will conduct the enrichment.

Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelagic country that is famous for its ethnic, racial, religious and cultural diversity. This diversity is widespread in every area from Sabang to Merauke. The diversity of ethnicity, race, religion, and culture is in line with the many traditions that exist in every region in Indonesia. Each region has traditions and rituals that have their own meaning and purpose. One of them is the sea picking tradition carried out by the Muncar community, Banyuwangi Regency. This tradition has its own meaning and purpose for the people around Muncar. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. This study aims to analyze the Petik Laut tradition with the perspective of the sociology of disaster. The results of this study indicate that the Picking Laut tradition carried out by the Muncar community is a ritual to ask for safety for fishermen to avoid disasters while looking for fish in the sea

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine what adaptations or adjustments were made to the implementation of the Perang Obor tradition in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and the response from the people of Tegalsambi Village. The method used in this research was a qualitative approach with interview and observation techniques. Interviews were conducted with the community and the village head of Tegalsambi. While the observations were carried out by seeing directly what the Perang Obor was like in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The results of the study found the fact that the existence of the Perang Obor tradition in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic was maintained but with some changes. The changes include the implementation of health protocols, the number of participants and limited time to avoid crowds that can become a medium for the spread of COVID-19. This study also found the fact that the policy of the village head continued to carry out the Perang Obor tradition in the midst of a pandemic because this tradition is related to meaningful cultural values and ideologies. Therefore, if it is abolished, it is feared that it will cause conflict for the people of Tegalsambi because the response from the people of Tegalsari has been very positive although they hope that the Perang Obor tradition can be carried out as vibrantly as when there was no COVID-19 pandemic.
