<![CDATA[Development is a process to accelerate economic growth, reduce gaps and eradicate poverty.Besides that development is also a multidimensional process of important changes in socialstructure, the attitude of the people and national institutions. Therefore, in this study, theauthors will examine the public perception of the planned development of Geothermal PowerPlant (PLTP) in Idamdehe Village, District Jailolo, West Halmahera, North Maluku Province.The reason the author took this topic because the village will be built PLTP. The researchmethodology used is qualitative descriptive. From the results of the research shows that thedevelopment plan of PTLP in Idamdehe village has been socialized since 2011-2013. From theeffects of the socialization of the community get information about PTLP. There are threegroups of perceptions about the PLTP development plan that is Agree, Disagree and Doubtful.]]>

<![CDATA[Citizenship education is a compulsory subject in all universities based on the Law onNational Education System. The purpose of this research is to know the implementationof civic education in universities as well as obstacles and challenges in theimplementation. The research method used is descriptive analytical with qualitativeapproach. Data collection techniques consist of primary data obtained fromrespondents and secondary data in the form of literature, scientific journals bothnationally and internationally. From the result of research, it is found that giving thecourse of civic education by lecturer is only theoretical only without accompanied bythe implementation of student activities. In addition, the lecturers who hold the subjectsof civic education have no competence in the field of state defense and do not getspecial training as lecturer of civic education from any institution. This requiressupport from the central government through the National Resilience Institute byproviding training in the form of lecturer candidates courses for Pancasila Educationand Citizenship Education courses.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this research is to develop creativity using portable-based learningmethod. The study is development research using classroom action research principle.This research uses three research cycles. In the first cycle Average students' creativethinking ability in Lead cycle 24.28%. The average student attendance in educationalactivities in the first cycle was 32.5%. In the second cycle, the average increase instudent effectiveness in cycle II of 48.47%. The average student attendance in thelearning activity in the second cycle was 47.5%. In cycle three addition, the ability willbe used in a high category that is equal to 75,71%, student participation in learningactivity included in the good category, that is equal to 82%. Thus it can be concludedthat the learning portfolio can improve students' creative thinking ability.]]>

<![CDATA[This study was aimed to find a theory about the study of civic education developed asa medium in promoting the public policy. This study used a qualitative approach, withthe type of library research to explore liberal, communitarian and republicantheories, with data sources consisting of textbooks, journals, and magazines withcriteria of relevancy principles relating to research. While the technique of datacollection using focused study, with primary source method is Th. Marshall andsecondary sources of Peter H. Schuck, Pettit and Thomas Janoski & Brian Gran. Thisstudy showed that the theory of civic education on the concept of communitarianrepublican was very appropriate in promoting public policy, while liberal theory onlyleads to political democracy about the freedom to express opinions; however otherelements were not appropriate because of it against the values of Pancasila.]]>

The data source of this research is the ritual procession of manre saperra ofNorth Luwu society. This documentary was made with the stages of data collection inthe form of research observation, interview, literature study, and film compilation. Theresult of this research is by making a documentary about manre saperra procession, thesociety is expected to be more know and recognize and practice the values contained inmanre saperra ritual so that this documentary film can be used as media of informationand learning media for younger genres in knowing local culture.]]>

<![CDATA[The objective of this study is to map and to find out the development and change of thecontents of the teaching materials in Pancasila Education for higher education in thepost-reform era. This study explores how the development and changes undergo in thecontent of it which rarely become a concern and study from academics and Pancasilaresearchers. In particular, this study explores the development and changes of theteaching materials in Pancasila Education for universities through case studies on booksor the other teaching materials that have been published or circulated in many bookshopsin Yogyakarta region. The methods used in this study are literature review andobservation of the five well-known public bookshops in Yogyakarta which have becomepublic reference, such as Gramedia, Kanisius, Toga Mas, Social Agency, and ShoppingCenter located in Malioboro. The results of this study indicate that the sources andcontents of the teaching materials in Pancasila Education have various contents andapproaches which depend on the author's perspectives. This study finds that thebookshops in Yogyakarta provide the teaching materials of Pancasila Education fromvarious authors and publishers. The teaching and learning of Pancasila Education inhigher education becomes a lot easier since there are many variants of teachingmaterials. The conclusion of this study shows that the teaching materials for PancasilaEducation for Higher Education in the post-reform era has undergone rapid developmentand changes.]]>
