Abstract

XYZ Electrical Store is one of the small and medium enterprises that sells various types of electrical equipment for household needs. The management of sales data in the store is still done by recording sales transactions in a book, making the sales report generation process take a long time. With such a sales data management system, control and planning of stock items become less than optimal. Customers often find that the items they want to buy are out of stock. Moreover, the accumulation of less popular items also poses a challenge to the store's cash flow, resulting in subopti mal business processes. This research was conducted to address the issues of controlling and planning stock of goods using data mining techniques with the Apriori algorithm on sales transactions of electrical tools. Through a series of threshold tests, a minsup of 10% and minconf of 60% were obtained. This study results in information on the types of electrical tools that need to be monitored as they can lead to stock shortages when buyers need them, namely, the categories of LED lights, electrical cables, plugs, electrical insulation, and out bow. By knowing this information, it can provide solutions to Sinar Mulya Electric Store in stocking the most frequen tly sold items in the store.

Abstract

The selection of the best teaching staff is very important to improve the quality of education at SMK Al - Amanah. However, the selection process carried out by SMK Al – Amanah is still subjective and less structured, so this can cause difficulties in determining the best teaching staff because of the many criteria that must be considered. In addition, the existing selection methods are not systematic and measurable, so they have the potential to cause bias and inconsistency in decision-making. This research aims to analyze and develop a decision support system that can help in the selection of the best teaching staff objectively and efficiently. The proposed solution is the development of a system that integrates the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to determine the weight of the assessment criteria, as well as the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method to rank teaching staff based on this weight. The method used for collecting data on assessment criteria for the selection of the best teachers is through interviews and applying the AHP method in determining the weight of the criteria, as well as the application of the TOPSIS method for ranking in the selection of the best teaching staff. From the results of the research, it was obtained that the creation of a Decision Support System can simplify and accelerate the assessment process carried out by the leadership of each teaching staff and also the assessment of each teaching staff to be more accurate and minimize errors in making decisions.

Abstract

This study optimizes propellerless wind power generation using a multidimensional approach and IoT technology. CFD simulations identified the S1210 airfoil as optimal due to its efficiency at low Reynolds numbers. The simulations revealed that a 9-degree angle of attack produced higher velocity and lower pressure, enhancing airflow and theoretical power output. Further simulations varying the distance between mirrored airfoils showed that an optimal distance exists for different wind speeds. An IoT system was then implemented to adjust this distance dynamically. Through in-depth analysis of airfoil design, material selection, and the application of IoT technology, this research pioneers a way to improve wind farm efficiency, overcome efficiency challenges at low wind speeds, and reduce maintenance costs. Its contribution is not only limited to the development of cleaner renewable energy technologies, but also opens the door to a deeper understanding of wind energy dynamics and its utilization on a large scale.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of a decision support system for selecting superior chili seeds using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The main problem addressed is the difficulty in objectively determining the best seeds based on multiple criteria. An iterative development model was employed, allowing the system to be gradually improved. Black-box testing showed 100% compliance with the intended functionalities, while user testing using the User Acceptance Test (UAT) method achieved 85% in the “strongly agree” category, indicating that the system is easy to use and relevant to the problems faced by farmers in Koya Barat Subdistrict, Jayapura City, Papua. The analysis results recommend the Mellyana chili variety as the best seed choice. These findings demonstrate that this method effectively supports farmers’ decision-making in selecting superior chili seeds.

Abstract

This study explores the potential of an interactive learning application, designed using the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) and Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) frameworks, to enhance student competence in basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) programming within health informatics education. Using a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design, the research involved 64 third-semester students in a vocational Health Information Management program. Participants were divided into two groups: an experimental group utilizing the interactive application and a control group receiving traditional instruction. Data were collected through achievement tests, motivation surveys, and usage log analysis. Results revealed that the experimental group demonstrated significantly higher learning achievement (M = 78.6 vs. 65.9), improved motivation (Likert mean = 4.35), and stronger self-regulated learning behaviors (87.1% module completion and 81% repeated simulations). These findings suggest that interactive tools grounded in pedagogical frameworks can effectively bridge abstract programming logic with clinical relevance, fostering both engagement and autonomous learning. The study contributes a scalable and replicable model for integrating simulation-based programming instruction in health informatics curricula.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effect of different feedstock types on biogas production and bioslurry quality at the household scale in Banyuwangi Regency. The assessment focused on biogas byproducts in the form of bioslurry derived from three types of feedstock household organic waste, goat manure, and cow manure. The research employed a completely randomized design (CRD) experimental method, in which each feedstock was fermented in a biodigester for one month, after which the resulting bioslurry was analyzed in the laboratory. The parameters measured included pressure (P), volume (V), daily gas production (ΔV), as well as the quality of bioslurry macronutrients pH, organic carbon, total nitrogen, P₂O₅, K₂O, C/N ratio and tests for pathogenic microbes. The results showed that all three feedstock types have potential as biogas substrates, indicated by positive gas production rates throughout the fermentation period. Cow manure yielded the highest cumulative biogas production potential (ΔV 146.81 liters), followed by household organic waste (ΔV 116.17 liters) and goat manure (ΔV 95.87 liters). In terms of bioslurry quality, cow manure provided relatively higher nutrient content (Ntotal and P₂O₅) compared to goat manure and household organic waste. The household-scale biogas technology applied in Banyuwangi demonstrates significant potential as a renewable energy source. However, its liquid digestate byproduct tends to have low nutrient content and carries biological risks that warrant attention in its utilization. Therefore, post-treatment measures such as composting or further maturation are necessary to ensure bioslurry safety and improve its agronomic value.

Abstract

At 210 seconds, the fraction of suspended particles in the natural and mechanical ventilation systems was 86.1% and 12.1%, respectively. The number of escaped particles in the natural and mechanical ventilation systems was 13.9% and 87.9%, respectively.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology in the era of globalization encourages various sectors to adopt digital technology, including in the field of education. One important aspect that requires the optimization of technology is the selection process for new student candidates. The manual selection method often takes a lot of time, is prone to errors, and lacks transparency and objectivity. Therefore, the implementation of an information technology-based selection system becomes a relevant and urgent solution. This research aims to design and implement a website-based selection system for student candidates using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) algorithm at XYZ Junior High School. The SAW algorithm is chosen for its ability to solve multi-criteria decision-making problems in a simple, efficient, and effective manner. This system is designed to process data of prospective students based on a number of predetermined criteria and then calculate the final scores to determine the rankings of prospective students objectively. The system development process includes stages of needs analysis, interface and system design, program implementation, and evaluation of system functionality and performance. The results of the implementation show that this system can accelerate the selection process, improve calculation accuracy, and provide transparency and fairness in decision-making. Additionally, this system can also serve as a reference for other schools that want to adopt similar technology to enhance the efficiency and quality of the new student selection administration process.
