Jurnal Ilmu Ilmu Agribisnis: Journal of Agribusiness Science is published by the Department of Agribusiness, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung, in collaboration with PERHEPI, the Indonesian Agricultural Economist Association. The first printed Journal was published in 2013 and the online version started in May 2018 edition. The scopes include agribusiness, agricultural economics, agricultural development, rural sociology, agricultural extension, food security, and other subjects related to agriculture and society. Abstract

This research aims to know corn productivity level in the working area of the extension center (BPPP) Natar Subdistrict, the level of Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) in the BPPP, factors related to the level of the performance of AEWs, the level of satisfaction of corn farmers on the performance of AEWs, and  the relationship between the level of performance of AEWs and the level of satisfaction of corn farmers.  Research conducted in BPPP Natar Subdistrict, South Lampung Subdistrict uses a survey method.  The sample in this study consisted of eight AEWs and 54 corn farmers.  Data analysis method uses a descriptive method and Rank Spearman correlation.  The results showed the average level of corn farming productivity in the Natar Subdistrict is 6,49 tons/ha.  The performance of AEWs is good.  The factors related to the performance of AEWs are the age of the AEWs, working period of the AEWs, and availability of facilities and infrastructure.  The level of satisfaction of corn farmers on the performance of AEWs in Natar Subdistrict is moderately satisfied, and the level of performance of AEWs has a significant relationship with the level of satisfaction of corn farmers in the Natar Subdistrict. Key words: agriculture extension workers, farmer satisfaction, performance

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the income of rice farming, the factors affecting of rural youth interest to continue rice farming, pull and push factors to work in agriculture sector. This research was purposively conducted in Trimurjo Sub District and Seputih Banyak Sub District, Central Lampung Regency from March to April 2018. There are 63 respondents taken by using proportional random sampling. The data of this research are collected by using survey method. The research data was analyzed bydescriptive qualitative and quantitative. The descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis was used to analyze farm income, binary logistic regression, and Spearman test. The results of this research show that the income of rice farming is Rp15.181.983,23 in the first planting season and Rp16.931.595,67 in the second planting season. Factors affecting of youth interest to continue rice farming are land area, age, education level, distance of youth residence to the city center. The pull factors to work in agriculture sector are the income of rice farming and availability of land area. The push factors to work in agriculture sector are limited employment opportunities, low level of education and too much free time.Keywords : farm, interest, pull factor, push factor, youth

Abstract

This study aims to determine consumer characteristics, attitudes, decision-making processes, and customer satisfaction towards banana pie at YA and JB. The research samples were 66 people selected by accidental sampling. The first and third objectives were analyzed descriptively, the second objective was analyzed using the Multiatribut Fishbein model, and the fourth objective was analyzed using Costumer Statisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The results showed that the characteristics of consumers of banana pie were dominated by female 18-30 years old who earned Rp1,500,000.00 - Rp2,500,000.00/month. The frequency of buying banana pie on average was once a week. The consumer decision making process on purchasing banana pie, at YA and JB was the same, namely the introduction of needs, information seeking, evaluation of alternatives, purchasing decisions, and post-purchase evaluation. Consumers of banana pie at JB gave an attitude value of 178.40, those at YA gave an attitude value of 180. The satisfaction level of banana pie consumers at JB was 77.86% and 78.76% at YA, both were included in the satisfied category. The attribute of banana pie that was needed to be improved at JB was the expire date, whereas there was no attribute needed to be improved at YA. Key words : Attitude, CSI, IPA, purchasing decisions

Abstract

The aims of this research are to determine the satisfaction, and loyalty of consumers to Raja Sereh Banana and Cavendish Banana products in Bandar Lampung City. The research is conducted in June to July 2018. The samples are consumers of Raja Sereh Banana and Cavendish Banana that are recruited byaccidental sampling. The number of consumer respondents are 80 people, divided by 40 respondent of Raja Sereh Banana and 40 respondent of Cavendish Banana. This research is conducted in two different locations, namely traditional market (Pasir Gintung Market) and modern market (Gelael Supermarket). The research data is analyzed by descriptive analysis, namely Consumer Satisfaction Index Analysis (CSI) and Loyalty Pyramid. The results of this research showed that Raja Sereh Banana and Cavendish Banana consumers were ?satisfied? and ?loyal?. Consumer satisfaction of Raja Sereh Banana was 74.66 percent and the consumer satisfaction of Cavendish Banana consumer was 71.09 percent. The level of consumer loyalty was classified as a buyer who was committed with a value of 85.00 percent for Raja Sereh Banana and 90.00 percent for Cavendish Banana.Keywords:bananas, consumer, loyalty, satisfaction

Abstract

The aims of this research are to analyze the financial feasibility and the sensitivity of cassava solid waste processing agroindustry. The research was conducted in March 2018 in Terusan Nunyai District, Lampung Tengah Regency by purposeive selected. The sampels of the research were 2 cassava solid waste processing agroindustry. Research data were analyzed by using financial feasibility and sensitivity analysis method. The results showed that cassava solid waste processing agroindustries were financially profitable and feasible to be developed. The value of NPV in two agroindustries were bigger than 0. The Value of Net B/C and Gross B/C in two agroindustries were bigger than 1. The value of IRR on two agroindustries more than commercial interest rate, and payback period of investmens could be covered less than the ages of agroindustries. The sensitivity value showed that processing cassava solid waste processing agroindustries was sensitive if there was an increase in costs of 3.25 percent. Most of criteria in all agroindustries was sensitive if there was a decrease in production volume of 5 percent. All agroindustries was sensitive if there was a decrease in price of 3.25 percent. Abstract

This research is to analyze income obtained by traditional fishermen from fish catching, their householdincome, the level of welfare, and factors influencing the welfare level of traditional fishermen households inTeluk Pandan District. This study was conducted in Sukajaya Lempasing Village, Teluk Pandan District,Pesawaran Regency with a survey method. Respondents were 48 traditional fishermen who used netfish andwere selected using simple random sampling method. Household income consists of on farm, off-farm, andnon-farm. Household welfare level is analyzed by Central Agency on Statistics 2014 and the Sajogyo 1997criteria. The factors influencing welfare are determined using binary logistic regression. The resultsshowed that the income obtained by fishermen from fish catches in the western season was Rp6,570,375, inthe eastem season was Rp25,452,214, and in the normal season was Rp15,229,771. The contribution of fishcatches income (on farm) was 91.01 percent, the contribution of bussines income in the agricultural sectoroutside the fish catches (off farm) was 5.55 percent, and the contribution of business outside the agriculturalsector (non-farm) was 3.60 percent. As many as 68.77percent of the traditional fishermen households areclassified as unprosperous yet and 31.25 percent are prosperous based on Central agency on Statistics 2014criteria. The factors influencing the welfare of traditional fishermen households were the level of educationand income.Key words: income, traditional fishermen, welfare.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze income, price and production risks, and farmer behavior on the risk of cassava farming. This research is a survey research, carried out in Bumi Agung Marga Village, Abung Timur Distric of North Lampung Regency in February 2018. There are 46 samples of cassava farmers who were chosen randomly. Farm income is analyzed by income analysis, whereas price risk and production risk are analyzed by coefficient of variation analysis. To determine the behavior of farmers against risk is used quadratic utility function analysis. The research results showed that cassava farming was profitable in which income value was Rp15, 146,206.10/ha and R/C was 3.30. The production risk had a CV value of 0.057 and L 20.061; it meant that the production risk was low, because the result of CV <0.5 and L>1. The price risk had a CV value of 0.135 and L 644.695; it meant that the risk was low because the CV <0.5 and L>1. All cassava farmers behave neutral in facing the risk of cassava farming. Abstract

This study aims to determine purchasing patterns, satisfaction levels, influence of service quality, product quality, and price perceptions of the satisfaction of Moo fresh milk consumers. The research was conducted by survey method at Chandra Department Store, Tanjung Karang. The research samples were recruited by accidental sampling. There were 50 households of Moo fresh milk consumers, in which respondents of this study were housewives. Data collecting was conducted in May-June 2018 and was analyzed by descriptive analysis, Customer Satisfaction Index Analysis (CSI), and verification analysis. The results of this study indicated that the type of purchase of Moo fresh milk was the most 1 liter. The volume of purchases of Moo fresh milk was mostly 1-3 litters per month with a frequency of purchases was 1-2 times per month. The score of Moo fresh milk consumer satisfaction was 80.43 percent, it meant that consumers were satisfied. Service quality and product quality had significant effects; unlike price perception had no significant effect on consumer?s satisfaction of fresh milk Moo.Key words: fresh milk, satisfaction, service quality
