Jurnal Ilmu Ilmu Agribisnis: Journal of Agribusiness Science is published by the Department of Agribusiness, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung, in collaboration with PERHEPI, the Indonesian Agricultural Economist Association. The first printed Journal was published in 2013 and the online version started in May 2018 edition. The scopes include agribusiness, agricultural economics, agricultural development, rural sociology, agricultural extension, food security, and other subjects related to agriculture and society. Abstract

This research aims to examine several scenarios in maize farming by increasing the income generated by maize farming for rural communities in West Tulabolo Village. This increase in income is aimed at through the adoption of advanced agricultural technologies. The research involved interviewing 26 corn farmers using a structured interview guide to assess their current farming practices. The method used in this study is quantitative descriptive data analysis using saturated sampling techniques. The data collected indicates that these farmers have not yet embraced technological advancements, especially when it comes to using hybrid corn cultivation methods like planting a single seed per hole and utilizing organic fertilizers. As a result, these farmers are currently earning low incomes, which amount to Rp. 4.402.090. To maximize profitability, it is crucial to implement improved agricultural methods by integrating technology into the Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) framework. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi frekuensi kunjungan wisatawan ke Grand Elty Kalianda Resort, nilai ekonomi Grand Elty Kalianda Resort, dan kepuasan pengunjung terkait atribut 4A atraksi, aktivitas, aksesibilitas, dan fasilitas. Lokasi penelitian dipilih secara purposif dengan pertimbangan bahwa Grand Elty Kalianda Resort merupakan salah satu tempat wisata terbaik di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei yang melibatkan 76 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara langsung pada bulan November 2022 hingga Desember 2022. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda, metode biaya perjalanan (TCM), analisis Indeks Kepuasan Pelanggan (CSI), dan Analisis Importance Performance (IPA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berbagai faktor yang mempengaruhi jumlah kunjungan ke Grand Elty Kalianda Resort adalah pendapatan, biaya perjalanan, lama perjalanan, sarana dan prasarana, dan kepuasan pengunjung. Nilai ekonomi objek wisata Grand Elty Kalianda Resort sebesar Rp12.501.262,00 per tahun. Sedangkan tingkat kepuasan pengunjung terkait atribut 4A sebesar 91,60 persen menunjukkan pengunjung sangat puas. Pengukuran kepuasan pengunjung dengan metode IPA diperoleh hasil kepuasan pada atribut pantai, rekreasi dan fotografi. Kata kunci: Penilaian ekonomi, metode biaya perjalanan, kepuasan pengunjung.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze differences between lunch and dinner buyers in assessing importance and performance attributes, differences in importance and performance levels between lunch buyers and dinner buyers, and analyze the attributes that need to be improved and maintained. The method used in this study was a survey method by conducting interviews with 35 lunch buyer respondents and 35 dinner buyer respondents. The samples were determined using a probability sampling technique to randomize table numbers and the analytical method used was the Mann-Whitney Test and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Interest and performance attribute ratings by buyers used a Likert scale with a range of 1 to 5. This study showed that there was no significant difference in importance and performance ratings between lunch and dinner buyers' ratings. There are 4 different attributes of the importance and performance of dinner and lunch. There is 1 attribute whose performance needs to be improved and 8 attributes whose performance needs to be maintained. Keywords: attributes, Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), importance and performance, lunch buyers and dinner buyers.

Abstract

This research seeks to analyze the impacts of substituting white sorghum flour in the making of vanilla cupcakes on both their physical quality and consumer acceptance. This research was carried out at the Pastry and Bakery Laboratory of Culinary Education, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Jakarta in July 2022 - January 2024.  The method used in this research is the experimental method involving vanilla cupcakes with white sorghum flour substitution of 20 percent, 30 percent, and 40 percent.  A consumer acceptability test was conducted on 30 semi-trained panelists evaluating various organoleptic aspects.  The statistical analysis, utilizing Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) for the physical quality test, revealed a significant influence of white sorghum flour substitutions (20%, 30%, and 40%) on both cupcakes rising power and stability.  After conducting the Friedman Test on several aspects, results showed that there is no statistically significant difference between treatments on these following aspects: 1) the color of crumbs; 2) sorghum aroma; 3) sweetness; and 4) the texture of the top of the cupcake.  On the other hand, the test showed that there is a statistically significant difference between treatments on the following aspects: 1) butter aroma; 2) the taste of sorghum; 3) crumbs texture; and 4) the color of the top of the cupcake.  Further investigation using Tukey's test is necessary for the aspects with observed differences.  Ultimately, the most preferred product was the vanilla cupcakes with a 20 percent sorghum flour substitution.Keywords:  consumer acceptability, physical quality, vanilla cupcake, white sorghum flour

Abstract

This research aims to describe the consumer characteristics and analyze the level of customer satisfaction. This research was conducted in August 2023 in Balunijuk Village, Merawang District, Bangka Regency. The method used in this research is purposive sampling. The data collection methods used in this research are observation, questionnaire, and interview. The data analysis method uses quantitative descriptive statistics and Customer Index Satisfaction (CSI) analysis with a Likert scale. The results of the study show that the consumer characteristics at Putra Minang restaurant and Minang Maimbau restaurant are predominantly students aged 18-21 years, female, have pocket money per month of less than Rp.1.000.000, come from Bangka Belitung University, live in boarding houses and reside in Balunijuk Village. The CSI calculation results at Putra Minang restaurant are 80.53% and at Minang Maimbau restaurant are 79.81% at the satisfied level.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the most economical quantity of orders for raw materials, calculate the amount of safety stock, the reorder point, and the total inventory costs. The analytical method used is quantitative analysis with the probabilistic EOQ method. The research was carried out using a case study method at the Bawang Goreng Dua Saudara Agroindustry. The research location was deliberately chosen. Respondents in the research consisted of agroindustry owners and workers. The research results show that the most economical order for brebes shallots using the probabilistic EOQ method is 7.646 kg per order, and the most economical order quantity for sumenep shallots is 4.442 kg per order. There is a total savings in inventory costs using the probabilistic EOQ method of IDR 1.439.008 (9%) for brebes shallots and IDR 62.398 (1%) for sumenep shallots. Brebes shallots must be ordered when the reorder point value is 6.817 kg and the amount of safety stock is 2.918 kg. Meanwhile, sumenep shallots should be ordered with a reorder point value of 3.167 kg, and the amount of safety stock that must be available is 125 kg. Keywords: agroindustry, probabilistic EOQ, raw materials, shallots

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to analyze the decision-making process and consumer attitudes, to observe consumption patterns and to measure the level of consumer satisfaction of Sido Muncul and Herbadrink instant sour turmeric herbs in Bandar Lampung City. This study used the survey method and was conducted in January-February 2023 in Bandar Lampung by distributing the Google Form questionnaires. The number of respondents in this study was 80 people. The data were analyzed by descriptive analysis, Fishbein's multiattributes and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). The results showed that consumers consumed instant tamarind turmeric herbal medicine in order to relieve menstrual pain. All consumers were satisfied and agreed to repeat purchases. If the product runs out where consumers tend to buy, consumers would buy elsewhere. Measurement of consumers attitudes toward multi-atribute products resulted Ao score of 89.179 (Sido Muncul) and 86.688 (Herbadrink). The average amount of consumption of Sido Muncul herbal medicine was higher. Both consumers liked the original variant and made purchases every month before menstruation. The level of consumer satisfaction for both brands of herbal medicine was included in the satisfied category in which CSI scores of Sido Muncul sour turmeric was 79.95 and Herbadrink was 79.10.Key words: attitudes, consumers, jamu, satisfaction

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the attributes of soybeans, and to analyze the preferences of tofu and tempeh agro-industries in the selection of soybean raw materials in Bandar Lampung City. The research method used in this study was survey method. This research was conducted at the tofu and tempeh agro-industry in Bandar Lampung City.  The location of the agro-industry was chosen purposively.  The sampling technique used was probability sampling (stratified random sampling). The number of samples in this study ware 60 people.  The analytical tools utilized to answer the first objective was qualitative descriptive analysis, and for the second objective was conjoin analysis.  The results of the study indicate that soybean’s attributes considered by the owners of tofu and tempeh agro-industries in Bandar Lampung City are including size, shape, color, origin, and price.  Tofu agro-industry preferences in Bandar Lampung City in the selection of soybean raw materials prefer to have soybeans that are imported with round shape, yellow color, medium size, high price, with the most important attribute of being the origin attribute. The preferences of tempeh agro-industry in Bandar Lampung City in the selection of soybean raw materials prefer to have imported soybeans with oval shape, white color, large size, low or medium price, with the most important attribute being the price attribute. Keywords: conjoin, tempe, and tofu.

Abstract

One of the native chicken breeds in Indonesia with the potential for broiler development is the gaok chicken, originating from Poteran Island, Sumenep Regency, East Java. This research aims to understand the motivations of the community in breeding native chickens. The study was conducted in three villages on Poteran Island, Sumenep Regency, namely Palasa Village, Gapurana Village, and Essang Village. The selection of these locations was based on the origin of the native chicken, Poteran Island, which is administratively situated in Talango District, Sumenep Regency, East Java. A sample of 30 respondents was determined using the snowball sampling technique. The research was conducted from September 2023 to February 2024. Data collection was carried out through structured interviews employing a questionnaire. Motivation in this research was assessed through three aspects: existence needs, relatedness needs, and growth needs. Measurement utilized Likert scales and was analyzed descriptively. The study's findings indicate that the level of motivation among the community to breed native chickens mostly falls into the low category. Keywords: existence needs, growth needs, motivation, native chicken, relatedness needs
