Abstract

Settlement condition of the River Plate Kurau Cluster 1 Kurau slum village made arrangements with land readjustment, but in the implementation of the case back by the public rejection of the result of an agreement or a consensus that settlements be halted. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the land consolidation process in order to assess the success of land readjustment process and the factors that hamper implementation. This study uses a mix method with a two-stage procedure. Results of the analysis showed that the land land readjustment process successfully, supported by the success of the equity (score 638), effectiveness (score 631), responsiveness (score 617) and efficiency (579). The success of land land readjustment is caused by, among others, people's desire to stay or do not want to be relocated / displaced, not the status of land ownership society, high support and commitment of local governments and legislators. whereas the factors that hinder the implementation of the agreement of land land readjustment triggered by the inequity in the distribution of location / position of the lots after the land land readjustment of the small percentage of people, causing rejection back public the results of land land readjustment, among others, less efficient and less fair to the size distribution and financing schemes recovery.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the process of changing forest area or deforestation that is multidimensional and complex, encompassing economic aspects, aspects of governance, social and demographic aspects and physical and environmental aspects represented by 15 independent variables in 10 countries in Southeast Asia in the year period 2008-2015. The analysis and study besides relying on the theoretical foundation and previous research also included several variables that describe the complexity and multidimensional changes in forest area. However, these efforts are often constrained by incomplete data and data reliability. In contrast to some previous studies which focused more on economic aspects or aspects of population increase that affected changes in forest area. This research also includes aspects of governance and social and demographic aspects as well as environmental aspect which are expected to complement the spectrum and study of the problems of deforestation and forest degradation. The method used in this study uses pooled least squares and a series of tests to produce the best model specifications and estimators. In research that uses a 95% confidence level on p-value at a value of α = 0.05, it was found that from 15 variables there were only 6 (six) variables that significantly affected the increase in the human development index.

Abstract

KAPET (Kawasan Pengembangan Ekonomi Terpadu or Integrated Econonic Development Zone - IEDZ) is a government driven program to boost economic development in eastern Indonesia. The program was launched during the period of President Suharto’s administration in 1996 and was finalized in 1998 through Presidential Decree No. 9 year 1998. IEDZ Palapas is one of the IEDZs developed in Sulawesi Island, and is located in Central Sulawesi Province. IEDZ Palapas is proposed to substitute the former IEDZ Batui in the Central Sulawesi. IEDZ Palapas effectively started its operation in 2008. The Development of IEDZ Palapas was aimed to promote economic growth in the Central Sulawesi with Palu City as the center of regional development. The study evaluates the performance of IEDZ Palapas through examination of macroeconomic indicators as derivative products from the Gross Domestic Product in Central Sulawesi Province. The evaluation process has shown that for the past four years, the establishment of IEDZ Palapas has not been able to provide the driving force for economic growth in Central Sulawesi Province.

Abstract

Drinking Water Supply Program with Community-Based  (PAMSIMAS) aims to halve the proportion of people who do not have access to drinking water and basic sanitation in Indonesia. One of the areas that became the location of the implementation of the Program Pamsimas is Kabupaten Kendal, with case study: Tanjungsari, Sidorejo, and Kalirandu Gede villages. To ensure the sustainability of the program, it is necessary to people's to understanding the implementation of the program and the factors of public concern to carry out the program. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of sustainability Pamsimas in Kabupaten Kendal, in those three villages, which will be achieved by using one of the qualitative research approach, which is a case study (case study research). The qualitative analysis techniques used are for qualitative description analysis and comparative analysis. The result of this research can be concluded that those three villages are well understanding on the purpose of Pamsimas program. Each villages have valuables characteristics that can support the sustainability of the Pamsimas program. The factor of public awareness of the implementation of Pamsimas influenced by community and government relations, practical reasons as well as public awareness of the importance of protecting the environment.

Abstract

Muntilan is one of a small city that cities that respond to the development and modernization . In addition to its position on the national path that connects Yogyakarta to Semarang as the capital of the each province, in a fact Muntilan was probably save any locality aspects such as natural conditions, as the descendants of Javanese society and diversity religious that exists but at the same time they are become the opportunity for the development of Muntilan. These phenomena will be continue to emerge that  influence in the direction of urban space which is arranged by the government in a process and a product of spatial planning. The research about local values in spatial planning use The Grounded Theory approach was successfully finds local values that formed from the interaction of society with the aspects of localities , including community perceptions for the threat of Merapi Mountain , their love as Javanese, the faith value that hidden on stone carving art, mina lumping art, and tolerance and harmony among diverences of religions in Muntilan’s society. There is the only one of the local value that considered in spatial planning and contained within the spatial planning documents, RDTRK Muntilan. The others local values that has not regulated by local government in spatial planning, serve as recommendations to the government and stakeholders to make the implementation of spatial planning for the small town of Muntilan.

Abstract

Juwana ports is a national port, harbors between islands in the river ofsilugangga which is the gateway to the economy in Pati Regency.The concepts of revitalization of the harbor UPP class III Juwana is necessary because during the reign of the Dutch, this port is an international port with traffic of goods, people and voyage is also very crowded; unfortunately the condition does not continue at this time. The port that should have been a modem port are lagging and lacking in economi meaning to the surrounds community and the development of Pati. Therefore, the formulation of the issue in accordance with the background of the research is why and how the process of revitalization. Juwana port will be done as efforts to improve the economy of surrounding community PATI regency.This analysis is using analytical techniques of Importance Performance Analysis (1PA) and the focusing the technique mix method is a method of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis methods with analize the performance service, government policies and decreased vitality. From the analysis, it is known that a decrease in the vitality of the port of juwana due to geographic factors, physical factors and factors of Juwana port activity, so that it is necessary to do drafting the revitalization of the Juwana port, they are: ,1) Revitalize the shipping Juwana lines so that ships do not lean or mooring in harbor entrance Juwana resulting rapid silting, 2) Revitalize unloading infrastructure and port infrastruktur, 3) The concept of relocation is greater port positioned to deal with the open sea so that ships with gross tonnage could large mooring or dock in ports.

Abstract

Formalization of street vendors in the city of Semarang such official site at Waru Market Area in Kaligawe to accommodate that activities. In 2007, the market is prepared to accommodate the relocated Waru merchants of Kartini, Progo and Citarum with klithikan specialities, food of birds and animals. Now, Waru Market conditions have not been developed due to various constraints including accessibility and flooding. Research question of this study is the extent offormalization of street vendors’s rolein Waru Market Semarang. This study utilities was qualitative manner with the purposive sampling methods. The results of this study which is the location of the formalization in the Waru Market area lesssuited to support existing activities. The supply - demand occurred imbalance because services scale market waru still level environment was not compared to demand inflicted. Nevertheless, some traders chose to remain on the grounds selling operating license in accordance with the government so as to provide the most tangible benefits of formalizing the creation of security and comforts for traders. Types of goods and capital will affect the sustainability of the activity of traders, like Klithikan better able to survive in this Waru Market area. Government efforts required as space conditioning goods vendors according to the characteristics and the provision of accessibility to the partnership to be able to support the activities of traders.

Abstract

The Region Development Unit  (SWP) III with Tengaran and Suruh subdistrict service center being in the south of Semarang District. The long distance to reach the capital of Semarang district in northern, geographically less favorable for the south. It assumpted SWP III more served by others. Based on the fact above, it is important to  study the effectiveness of neighborhood facilities service in SWP  III Semarang District. Object research includes seven neighborhood facilities according to SNI 03-1733-2004 namely government and public services, education, health, religion, trade, culture, and open space facilities. This research using the quantitative analysis with the scoring method. Variables observed in this study covering the availability, accessibility, the intensity of the use of facilities. Data collection with a questionnaire, interview, observation, and document review. Sample methods used is simple random sampling and purpossive sampling. The result of this research are (1) four neighborhood facilities categories effective are religion facilities, health, the government and public service, and education, while three having effective enough are the trade facilities, culture, and open space. (2) Tengaran and Suruh Subdistrict not capable of being service center for SWP III.

Abstract

One of the public transportation in Bekasi which serves commuters Jabodetabek is provided by the railroad-based public transport. However, as a satellite city of Jakarta which has more than two million people of population has a massive movement toward Jakarta, Bekasi city transport system is still far from a concept of a seamless services that accomodate the needs of commuters traveling. This research used techniques of qualitative and quantitative method, then though descriptive statistical analysis technique, analytical technique Service Quality (Servual, and Important-erformance Analysis (IPA) which the respondents are passengers of a Jabodetabek Commuters Line. The results suggest that modal choice behavior towards and from the station (Access Mode) as well as from the station to the destination (Egress Mode) is influenced by the ‘Time Value’ and ‘Cost of Transport’. When the modes offered a great time to the station, the more unattractive to the people, as the greater respondent's income make them free to choose the modes, a faster transport time services but requires a greater transport costs.

Abstract

Perkembangan Pinggiran Kota Semarang meningkat cepat ditandai dengan meningkatnya laju pertumbuhan penduduk di kawasan pesisir Kota Semarang. Kawasan pesisir Kota Semarang berfungsi sebagai pusat perdagangan dan jasa, pusat kegiatan industri dan sebagai simpul utama transportasi Pulau Jawa. Meningkatnya laju pertumbuhan penduduk dan terkonsentrasinya kegiatan di kawasan pesisir Kota Semarang mengakibatkan perkembangan permukiman cepat dari tahun ke tahun. Salah satu kawasan pesisir yang mengalami perkembangan permukiman relatif cepat adalah Kecamatan Genuk. Kondisi ini dapat diketahui berdasarkan adanya penambahan luas permukiman selama kurun waktu 10 tahun (2007-2017). Kawasan permukiman di Kecamatan Genuk merupakan kawasan yang sering mengalami banjir rob sehingga mengakibatkan kerusakan fisik permukiman dan infrastruktur. Perbedaan kemampuan adaptapi mengakibatkan adanya perbedaan tingkat kerentanan masyarakat terhadap bencana rob. Bentuk adaptasi juga dapat dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik fisik lingkungan permukiman. Sehingga perlu dikaji hubungan karakteristik permukiman dengan bentuk adaptasi masyarakat pesisir di Kecamatan Genuk, Kota Semarang. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif, analisis spasial, analisis skoring dan analisis korelasi Spearman. Penelitian ini lebih difokuskan pada mengkaji hubungan bentuk adaptasi dengan aspek fisik, berbeda dengan penelitian sebelumnya yang lebih banyak membahas mengenai aspek non fisik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara karakteristik fisik permukiman dengan bentuk adaptasi masyarakat terhadap rob (nilai koefisien korelasi = 0,535).
