Abstract

This study aims to (1) analyze the role of leadership and leader communication in improving employee performance at PT Garuda Karya Mandiri (2) analyze the typology of leadership communication applied by the leaders of PT Garuda Karya Mandiri. The findings of this study are expected to be able to determine the role of leadership and communication practices that should be carried out by a superior to his subordinates in running a company organization. Where we know that in the era of free competition that is so tight today, optimal performance for companies is a price of necessity to stay afloat while paying attention to the values of the mood of its employees. In an effort to always maintain employee performance so that it is always optimal, it is necessary for the role of leadership communication to achieve work targets in the company. Communication made by superiors should be interactive, humanistic and constructive so that each employee can carry out and enjoy their respective jobs. The results of research on the role of leadership in improving employee performance (respectively Communication) are: (1). Leaders as examples and role models, (2). Important decision makers, (3). Leaders as communicators, (4). Leaders as evaluators. Thus in the end it can be seen that through the role of leadership and communication carried out by a leader well, he will be able to maintain the mood of the employees so that it will have an impact on the realization of optimal performance in running the company's organization.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the positive and significant influence partially or jointly Transformational Leadership and Motivation on the performance of the General Election Commission employees of South Tangerang City. The object of this research is all employees in the South Tangerang Regional Election Commission. The type of research used in this research is explanatory research or explanatory research. Explanatory research is research that intends to explain the position of the variables studied and the relationship between one variable and another. Methods of data collection using observation and questionnaires. Sampling technique using simple saturated with the number of respondents as many as 40 employees. The validity of the data in this study used Validity Test, Reliability Test, and Classical Assumption Test. The result of this study is that there is a positive and significant influence partially or simultaneously between Transformational Leadership and Motivation on the performance of the Regional Election Commission employees of South Tangerang City.

Abstract

The purpose of this study were to analyze the comprehension and perceptions, degree of participation and the factors that can have an effect on the economic development of the community in managing mangrove forests. The data analysis method uses analytical descriptive. The results showed that: (1) Respondent has a proficient comprehension of mangroves as much as 52.6%, while for the perception of the majority of respondents have the perception of that 39.5% (2) The majority of respondents have a moderate level of participation (68.4%), (3) Factors affecting community participation are: sufficient tourism facilities, the number of available productive age workers is sufficient, thus making a positive economic impact for the benefit of the community. Suggestions for follow-up are as follows, the public of Tambakrejo needs an assistance in regards of innovation and marketing skills of products derived from mangrove, as well as an excellent waste management training in mangrove surrounding the coastal areas

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the effect of compensation on employee performance at PT. Cahaya Manunggal – South Tangerang. The research method used in this study is associative, which is a research method based on positive philosophy and is used to examine a particular population or sample. Associative research has a higher level when compared to descriptive. With this associative research, a theory can be built that serves to explain, predict and control a symptom. The analytical method used in this research is simple regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, determination coefficient analysis, and partial test (t). Statistically it is proven that the value of the compensation determinant on performance is 60.4%. That is, compensation has a very large opportunity in influencing employee performance. In a broader sense, it can be understood that employee performance is highly dependent on the reward system, the better the salary and incentives offered, the greater the possibility of increasing work productivity, so that organizational goals are achieved.

Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) is an infectious disease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) SARS-CoV-2 is coronavirus a new type ofthat has never been previously identified in humans. to be studied from the perspective of the banking industry customers is the legal protection of banking industry customers in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. The approach method in this research is descriptive qualitative analysis, the results in this study are legal protection for independent banking industry customers in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic in carrying out regulatory and supervisory tasks in the banking sector, regulation and supervision of bank health, including liquidity, profitability , solvency, asset quality, minimum capital adequacy ratio, maximum credit limit, guarantee ratio to deposits and bank reserves, bank reports related to bank health and performance and debtor information system. Then the Impact and Risks of Independent Banking Industry Customers in the Middle of the Covid-19 Pandemic, Impacting the survival of credit customers (debtors) and the banking system itself, Banks will experience difficulties or risk of banking liquidity during the pandemic, especially small banks, Will have an impact on banking income, The provision of services to customers is less than optimal during the pandemic, Customers reduce visits or come directly to bank branch offices and Decreased Asset Quality due to weak economic conditions.

Abstract

Online business in the era of digital communication is in great demand by people. By utilizing social media online, it makes it easy for everyone to explore anywhere without being limited by time and distance. Rumah Kue Delina is a brand of home industry products or small and medium businesses engaged in the culinary business domiciled in the South Tangerang area that has utilized online sales. This study aims to determine whether there is a positive and significant effect between product quality and the use of social media either partially or simultaneously on purchasing decisions in Small and Medium Enterprises Delina Cake House, South Tangerang. This study uses quantitative methods, the population of Delina Cake House customers is approximately 600 people, by using incidental sampling obtained 75 respondents. Data collection methods used were observation and questionnaires, data analysis methods used were descriptive analysis and statistical analysis of multiple linear regression techniques, correlation analysis, simultaneous F test, partial t test, and coefficient of determination test. From the correlation analysis, it can be concluded that there is a strong correlation between product quality and purchasing decisions, and a very strong correlation between the use of social media and purchasing decisions. From the results of the regression analysis obtained multiple linear regression equation Y = 0.500 + 0.079 X1 + 1.008 X2. Partial t-test shows that product quality partially has a significant effect on purchasing decisions by 57.3% while 42, 7% is influenced by other variables and the use of social media partially has a significant effect on purchasing decisions by 76.8% while 23.2% is influenced by other variables. Simultaneous F-test shows that product quality and use of social media simultaneously affect purchasing decisions at the Small and Medium Business of Delina Cake House, South Tangerang by 76.9% while 23.1% is influenced by other variables not discussed in this study.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the impact the company's cash flow statements, firm age, and firm size on financial performance. The population in this study is the LQ45 company listed in the BEI 2018-2020 period. The data was analyzed using the regression panel data. Research indicates that the unequaled cash flow report, firm age, and firm size have no effect on financial performance. This finding is factually contradictory to the theoretical explanation, so it cannot be used as a general reference. However, what can be explained is that there is no regression model that can be used in this study, indicating that a company's financial performance is not enough just to be seen or assessed from some data. As a result, the results of the study have not been able to reveal relevant findings. Nevertheless, this is evidence of the importance of a study to accommodate all aspects, so that the research results can explain the existing phenomena.

Abstract

Economic growth from year to year continues to move impressively in Makassar City. However, at the same time, economic growth and income distribution have been unbalanced, which has exacerbated the number of economic inequalities that have occurred. The entry of investment, the contribution of the industrial sector and the minimum wage, did not make any significant changes to reduce economic inequality. The purpose of this research is to factually attempt to understand further the effect of investment, economic growth, industrial sector GDP, and minimum wages on the Gini ratio in Makassar City. This study used a kualitative method research model. The novelty of this research is that the search related to economic inequality in Makassar City does not just stop at statistical figures. However, there is also a qualitative in-depth search to understand the real phenomenon of inequality. The results of this study indicate that investment and economic growth as independent variables have a positive effect on the Gini ratio (dependent variable). On the other hand, industrial sector GRDP and minimum wage (independent variable) have no effect on the Gini ratio. Behind the stretch of investment, growth, and the contribution of the industrial sector, these vulnerable poor people get nothing. This growth benefits the middle class more, so that class inequality is increasingly gaping. The loss of income sources in the villages, the low skills and education they have are the main triggers for the low level of income they have. Suggestions and implications of this research are that the Makassar City government should re-design a more inclusive economic growth.

Abstract

The objectives of the study are to reveal the influence of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty based on users of mobile data services PT. Indosat Ooredoo Tbk, switching cost as a mediating variable. The data was obtained by involving 189 respondents and using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with AMOS 2.4. The results show that customer satisfaction affects customer loyalty, and switching cost mediates the relationship between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. It implies that the company has to pay attention to customer satisfaction, customer loyalty, and switching costs at the mobile data service, in a service provider. This finding provides insights into the importance of improving customer satisfaction, and switching costs in increasing customer loyalty of the company.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of motivation and work discipline on the work productivity of employees at PT. Bangkit Maju Bersama either partially or simultaneously. The method used is the associative method. The technique used is random sampling using a sample of 50 respondents. Data analysis used validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination analysis and hypothesis testing. The result of this study is that motivation has a significant effect on work productivity with a coefficient of determination of 0.514. Work discipline has a significant effect on work productivity with a coefficient of determination of 0.426. Motivation and work discipline simultaneously have a significant effect on work productivity with a coefficient of determination of 0.620. This finding confirms that the increase in work productivity is caused by factors of motivation and work discipline of employees, with an opportunity value of 62%. This implies the importance of paying attention to the spirit aspect in carrying out work, and paying attention to the level of work compliance.
