Journal of Spirits is a scientific journal run by Faculty of Psychology Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. The Spirits journal aims to create a space for exchange of information on psychology. The Spirits journal aims to support the growth of new ideas and ideas about psychological knowledge in both contemporary psychology and selfbased psychology. Spirits journal is also expected to be a space for the development of Ki Hajar Dewantara ideas on psychology in Indonesia. Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengambilan keputusan menikah dini oleh remaja putri di Kecamatan Sukoharjo Ngaglik serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan remaja putri di Kecamatan Sukoharjo Ngaglik mengambil keputusan untuk menikah dini. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 4 orang remaja putri di Kecamatan Sukoharjo Ngaglik yang melakukan pernikahan dini. Adapun cara penentuan subjek didasarkan pada teknik Purposive. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pengambilan keputusan menikah dini remaja putri di Kecamatan Ngaglik banyak mendapat dukungan dari orang tua masing-masing subjek. Dasar pengambilan keputusan mayoritas di dasarkan karena berbagai macam aspek yang melatarbelakangi remaja putri dalam mengambil keputusan untuk menikah dini, aspek tersebut terdiri dari aspek intuisi, rasional, fakta, wewenang dan pengalaman. Faktor yang menyebabkan remaja putri di Kecamatan Sukoharjo Ngaglik mengambil keputusan menikah dini mayoritas dikarenakan faktor psikologis. Pengetahuan remaja putri tentang pernikahan yang belum begitu matang, membuat pandangan pernikahan didasarkan karena cinta dan kurang perhitungan yang matang. Kata kunci: pernikahan dini, pengambilan keputusan, remaja putri

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this research is to identify the relationship between emotion regulation and problem-solving ability of working mother. The subject of the research is mothers working at UD Glouve Mandiri. The method of research employed is persons product-moment correlation method with purposive sampling technique.The data are collected using the scale of Anderson's Problem-Solving Ability and Emotion Regulation (Suharnan, 2005). Scale of Problem-Solving Ability consists of 31 items, whereas the scale ofEmotion Regulation consists of 42 items.The result of the research shows 0,437 correlation coefficient and 0,000 (p, < 0,05) significance level. This means that the hypothesis stating that there is a positive relationship between Problem-Solving Ability and Emotion Regulation is acceptable. The effectiveness of regression is 19,1%, which means that 19,1% of the Emotion Regulation is determined by Problem-Solving Ability and 80,9% is influenced by other factors.Key words: Emotion Regulation, Problem-Solving Ability

Abstract

ABSTRACT One of task from a nurse at the hospital is doing observation in every patient, if nusre do not have asanse of sincare to help, so patient’s recovery will not be achieved optimally. This study aims to determine the relationship between empathy and prosocial behavior tendences in nurse at Tk. III 04.06.03 Dr.SOETARTO hospital Yogyakarta.Research subject 90 is a male and female nurse at the patient unit. The method used in this study is testing methode, this method being use with make a number of statement that need to be answered by the subject. Preparation of scale models used in this research is use a sumatied rating.The result in this research with  correlation analysis of moment product rom pearson, correlation was obtained between the two variabel (rxy) = 0,439 and p 0,000 (p<0,001) with contribution from independen and dependen variabel 19,2% and 80,8% other variabel that there are other variabel that can affect social behavior tendencies. Keywords: empathy, prosocial behavior tendencies nurse

Abstract

Abstrak. Respon emosional seperti stres bukanlah konsekuensi langsung terhadap stresor namun diatur oleh cara berpikir atau keyakinan tentang stresor dan cara seseorang untuk mengatasinya. Setiap orang memiliki keyakinan rasional dan tidak rasional. Hubungan antara keyakinan tidak rasional dengan gangguan emosi dapat dijelaskan dengan teori A-B-C. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara keyakinan tidak rasional dan stres kerja pada guru SMAN di Denpasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik uji korelasi dengan desain penelitian studi potong lintang. Jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 46 sampel dengan teknik acak sederhana. Pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner keyakinan tidak rasional dan stres kerja. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan r = 0,366 dan p = 0,012 yang berarti bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara keyakinan tidak rasional dan stres kerja pada guru SMAN di Denpasar.Kata kunci: hubungan, keyakinan tidak rasional, stres kerja

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims: 1) To elicit major suggestion by Intelligenz Structure Test (IST); 2) To elicit major suggestion by Self Directed Search (SDS) results. 3) To find out role and effects the major placement test results to decide major preference for high school students.This research conducts Krectjie table as determination of sample numbers. The sample is the major placement test results which implemented to 396 high school students. They are 254 students from science majors and 142 from social majors. The research also applies random sampling method. Furthermore, the hypothetic test adapts non parametric analyzing technic of Chi Square.This research shows how significant differences between major suggestion from Intelligenz Structure Test (IST) results, Self Direct Search (SDS), and school recommendation. Proved by Chi-Square value at 222.173 with significance level 0.000 (0%) for frequency major suggestion differentiations from school recommendation, based on IST test. 32.536 with significance level 0.000 (0%) and 5.172 with significance level 0.023 (2.3%) for frequency major suggestion differentiations from school recommendation, based on SDS. 95.713 with significance level 0.000 (0%) and 149.414 with significance level 0.000 (0%) for frequency differentiation major suggestion by IST test from SDS test, also 221.90 and 45.306 with significance level 0.000 (0%) for frequency differentiation major suggestion based on placement test (IST and SDS) from school recommendation. Regarding to those results, show that there are some significant differences between school recommendation and test results. Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai bagaimana spiritual well-being penganut aliran kepercayaan Sapta Darma di Sanggar Tegeh Kuri Denpasar Bali dalam menjalani hidupnya sebagai penghayat. Subjek penelitian berjumlah empat orang dengan jenis kelamin laki-laki dan berumur kisaran 45-55 tahun. Metode penelitian data yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi dengan menggunakan obervasi dan wawancara. Data dianalisis, dimulai dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan menyimpulkan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa keempat subjek memiliki spiritual well-being yang cukup tinggi terbukti dari empat subjek memiliki hubungan individu dengan kekuatan di luar dirinya (Tuhan) dan hubungan individu dengan dirinya cukup baik. Ketiga subjek memiliki hubungan individu dengan orang lain cukup baik, satu subjek sedang. Keempat subjek memiliki hubungan individu dengan alam dan lingkungan cukup baik. Proses pencapaian spiritual well-being pada subjek melalui proses yang unik, dipengaruhi oleh faktor dukungan keluarga, pengalaman hidup, kecerdasan, guru spiritual.Kata kunci: Spiritual well-being, Penghayat Sapta Darma

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research were aimed to find out the relationship between the interpersonal communication and organizational culture with the job satisfaction, the relationship between the interpersonal communication with the job satisfaction and the relationship between organizational culture with the job satisfaction of lecturer at Universitas Sarjanawita Tamansiswa Yogyakarta.The data were collected by using job satisfaction scales, interpersonal communication scales and organizational culture scales. The research was conducted at the Universitas Sarjanawita Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. The total number of the subjects were 58 that meet the criteria as a research subject.Data were analyzed by using multiple regression analysis and partial correlation analysis, by using SPSS version 17.0 statistical program as a tool. Theresult regression analysis showed : a) There were correlation between the interpersonal communication and the organizational culture with the job satisfaction. The result showed R=0,638 and Adjusted R Square (R²)=0,406, b) there were correlation positively between the interpersonal communication with job satisfaction. The result showed R partial=0,544 (p=0,000) and effective contribution=29,6% and c) there were correlation positively between organizational culture with job satisfaction. The result showed R partial=0,505 (p=0,000)  and effective contribution=25,5%.Key words : Job Satisfaction, Interpersonal Communication, Organizational

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe aim of this study was finding the relationship between religiosity and adolescent aggressiveness at Madrasah Aliyah Assalaam Temanggung. The instruments are the religiosity scale and aggressiveness scale. Data was collected from 100 adolescence subjects ages 16-18 years, sitting in class X and XI MA Assalaam. Data analysis techniques used Pearson Product Moment Correlation (2-tailed). The result showed that the correlation coefficients obtained for (r) = -0.468 with a significance level of 0.000 (p <0.01). The conclusion, there is a negative significant relationship between religiosity to adolescent aggressiveness. The negative coefficient showed correlation to the both variables was negative. This means that increasing religious level can make decreasing aggression level, and converse, decreasing religious level can make increasing aggression level. Thus, the hypothesis in this study is acceptable. Keywords: religiosity, aggressiveness, adolescence

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of the study is to investigate the hardy personality of pasca stroke sufferer. Hardiness was first described by Kobasa (1979) as a cognitive appraisal processes composed of three characteristics: challenge, commitment, and control. There were 4 women participants who stroke sufferer during 0-6 years. Results indicate hardiness of pasca stroke sufferer we able look at their behaviour. They still giving interest to do something are relate environment and another people. Beside that, support from family is material, morality, and information could be helping subject to appear the hardy personality. Defended good relationship with another people was method of subject to increase hardiness. Key words : commitment, control, challenge.

Abstract

ABSTRACT When employees work, there must be expected by employees. That expectation is the fulfillment of job satisfaction. By the fulfilled of job satisfaction, employees will emerge organizational citizenship behavior. The companies in the beginning need to fulfill employees job satisfaction. But if the job satisfaction of employees is fulfilled, then the companies also feel its benefit, because employees will show organizational citizenship behavior. Therefore, this study will test the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior on employees.Data collection was conducted at PT. Bali Tourism Development, PO Box 3, 80363 Nusa Dua, Bali in June 2011. The subjects of this study are 50 employees. The reliability score of Job Satisfaction Scale is 0,906 and the reliability score of Organizational Citizenship Behavior scale is 0,965. The normality score of job satisfaction variable is 0.867 and the normality score of Organizational Citizenship Behavior is 0.245. Job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavioral is linear because its probability score is 0.052. From correlation score is 0,287 and probability score is 0.043, it indicates that there is a relationship between job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior. The coefficient of determination is 0.08.From the result of this study is expected to contribute to the sciences such as Industrial Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management and Industrial Relation and also practically to the sustainability of the company as an employer and employee as workers. Keywords: job satisfaction, organizational citizenship behavior, employees
