Abstract

This study aims to validate the correlation between meteorological factors and air pollution with the spread of Covid-19 in Jakarta, Indonesia. This study examined the Covid-19 cases of Jakarta and its five municipalities. The secondary data of Covid-19 cases, includes Daily Positive Cases (DPC) and Total Daily Positive Cases (TDPC), were retrieved from the Health Office of DKI Jakarta Province, while the meteorological and air pollution parameters were obtained from the online database archives. Kendall and Spearman rank correlation tests were used to analyze correlation between DPC and TDPC with meteorological and air pollution parameters. This study found that Air Quality Index and PM10 showed a significant positive correlation with DPC in municipalities of Jakarta. Also, the average air temperature was positively correlated to TDPC in all region of Jakarta. Average air temperature, Air Quality Index, and PM10 were the factors that take into account for the spread of Covid-19 pandemic in Jakarta, Indonesia. The warmer temperature associated to the higher number of case. Thus, there are no indications that the spread of Covid-19 in subtropical or temperate country may decrease when entering a warmer season that resembles the climatic characteristics in tropical region. Additionally, the significance of air pollutant factors implies that reducing air pollution should be promoted as it might reduce the spread of Covid-19. The findings of this study would be useful to support the strategy and policy in preventing the spread of Covid-19 in the country.

Abstract

The COVID-19 disaster, which was felt globally in all countries including Indonesia, has in general changed the series of business process arrangements in almost all fields, including the field of education. One of the affected areas of education is the Caltex Riau Polytechnic (PCR) campus. The impact of this disaster has forced the academic community (lecturers and students) to carry out the online lecture process since the Odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. The online lecture process is facilitated by an electronic learning system (e-learning). Changes in the pattern of lectures, which previously were held face-to-face, then had to be conducted online using e-learning, gave rise to several usability problems. The usability measurement of e-learning PCR was carried out using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire, involving 196 participants. The results of the usability analysis of e-learning PCR obtained a score of 58.75. With the assessment criteria on the adjective, the rating is okay, the grade scale is D value, and the acceptable ranges are at a marginal low. This means that e-learning still needs improvement and evaluation of the utilization of the features/services provided, so that it can be used more efficiently, effectively, and satisfactorily for its users.

Abstract

Screening for the COVID-19 vaccination is an important and mandatory step to ensure the eligibility status of each candidate for vaccination. The main obstacle experienced was the ineffective screening process (a long process) that resulted in the accumulation of patients. Sometimes it takes one to two hours from registration to receiving the vaccination paper. This situation certainly causes discomfort for both participants and vaccinators. Therefore, the presence of an expert system is needed to overcome these obstacles. The expert system plays a role in simplifying service flow and shortening service time. This article discusses the application of the Forward Chaining method to formulate screening parameters so that they can be used to accurately determine vaccination eligibility. Based on the results of interviews with experts (expert doctors who handle vaccination), 12 rules were obtained from the formulation of 20 historical parameters, which will then serve as a knowledge base for the Covid-19 vaccination screening expert system. The test is carried out by comparing the results of expert screening diagnoses with an expert system using 15 samples of test data. The test results using the Certainty Factor method show that the confidence level is 84% to 99%.

Abstract

Family Pharmacy is a line of business that sells medicines in the city of Pekanbaru. Drug sales at these pharmacies are carried out offline by directly coming to the pharmacy and online through the Family Pharmacy application which can be downloaded via the google play store. However, the facilities offered by the Family Pharmacy application have not been able to provide user satisfaction, so that it has not fulfilled the initial goal of making the application, namely being able to increase drug sales and obtain a high level of satisfaction. Therefore, the author took the opportunity to conduct research in order to determine the quality of the application using the usability testing method. The analysis of the Family Pharmacy application aims to find out the shortcomings of the application that has been built, both in terms of learnability, efficiency, memorability, error, and satisfaction. The results obtained that the family pharmacy application has good quality according to users with 72.5% learnability, 74.2% efficiency, 74.4% memorability, 70.1% errors, and 71.4% satisfaction. However, the weakness of the Family Pharmacy application is that the majority of Family Pharmacy customers do not know about the Family Pharmacy application.

Abstract

One of the challenges of exporting Arumanis mangoes is their accurate grading ability because the mangoes do not change color during ripening. Near-Infrared (NIR) spectroscopy is a non-destructive method for detecting the internal ripeness of fruit which is quite reliable. However, NIR absorbance bands are often nonspecific, extensive, and overlapping. Although SVM modeling is quite good in performance, it can still be improved by spectral transformation. In this study, 11 spectral transformation operations were compared with their combinations to find the best input model. Spectral transformation operations include SAVGOL, RNV, BASELINE, MSC, EMSC, NORML, CLIP, RESAMPLE, DETREND, SNV, and LSNV. In the 2 class classification model, the highest accuracy is obtained using RNV and SAVGOL. The prediction model for SSC content with the best MSE value uses 3 combinations of spectral transformation operations, namely DETREND, LSNV, and SAVGOL with parameter values: 'deriv_order': 0, 'filter_win': 31, 'poly_order': 6. As for the prediction model of mango hardness with The best MSE value uses 2 combinations of spectral transformation operations, namely LSNV and SAVGOL with parameter values: deriv_order ': 0,' filter_win ': 15,' poly_order ': 6.

Abstract

One of the main functions of higher education is to develop personality abilities and shape the character of a dignified nation's civilization. One of the entry pathways for new student admissions at State Universities is the SNMPTN Path. While the number of participants who are accepted by looking at the quota on the SNMPTN line is only 20 percent of the capacity. Decision Support System as a solution that can assist policymakers in determining a decision. In this study, a decision support system was built using the TOPSIS method for selecting and ROC as a weighting for each criterion. Based on the results of the selection test for SNMPTN participants using the TOPSIS and ROC methods as weighting, it proves that it can display the cumulative ranking results of each alternative based on the criteria values owned.
