Abstract

As technology advances, almost everyone has a printer in their home as a printing aid. but not a few printers that have small or big problems. with this technological advancement, almost all people have personal smarthpones. This research aims to build a moble based system where users can solve printer problems by using applications on their smartphones based on knowledge obtained from experts created by the Forward Chaining method. This expert system can detect nine different types of printers owned by Canon manufacturers with total of 26 Problem and 38 symptomps and has an 80 % of accuracy.

Abstract

Nowadays, the industry makes various types of goods that have glass-based materials, float car window panes, non-float building windows, lamps, jars, and tableware. These glasses have the same production material, the difference between one and the other is the composition of the production material. K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm which is one of the classification methods in data mining and also a supervised learning algorithm in machine learning is a method for classifying objects based on learning data that is the closest distance to the object.. This study discusses the performance measurement (accuracy, precision, recall and f-measure) of the KNN method with a variety of values on 1000 glass type production data objects obtained from the central UCI Machine Learning Repository dataset. The conclusion of this research is the results of the value of K = 3 to K = 9, the best performance values obtained at K = 3, where the level of accuracy reaches 64%, 63% precision, 71% recall, and F-Measure of 67%.

Abstract

Admission to Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN) is divided into academic paths, scholarships and regular tests. The benchmarks used to accept prospective students through the academic track still see five academic grades with a minimum value of 70. There are cases where the minimum grade decreases depending on the KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria) from the school of the prospective student. The process of changing majors at UMN can be done by going to the Student Support division and undergoing a series of tests depending on the chosen study program. The Student Support Faculty of Engineering and Informatics (FTI) does not have enough data to carry out specific tests. Based on these two problems, a decision support system ?FTI Recommendation? was built using the AHP and SAW methods. AHP method is the basis for evaluating prospective students, while the SAW method is for alternative ranking. and the expert reference value as a substitute for the old benchmark, which is 70 or in accordance with KKM from the prospective student's school. The decision support system built produces a satisfaction level of 77.22%.

Abstract

Appreciation for the performance of a worker is very important in the aim of valuing his efforts for the institution. In the world of education, especially universities, lecturers are one of the main components in building quality and quantity. The good quality of lecturers should also provide good quality graduates, while the quantity or number of lecturers will affect the number of students in the college. In the aim of building the quality of lecturers, the award in the form of ranking the best lecturers can be an alternative trigger for quality improvement. Decision support systems (DSS) can be a tool that helps rank the best lecturers, of course with criteria to produce ranking alternatives. The length of work, achievements and tridharma (teaching, research, and consecration) of higher education is used as a criterion to obtain the best alternative rank of lecturers from the number of lecturers as many as 20 people. Lecturer data is taken from the telecommunication engineering study program Institut Teknologi Telkom Purwokerto (ITTP). The TOPSIS method was chosen in this multicriteria DSS, the result was 6 selected lecturers to be the best alternative lecturers and from these results it turned out that the most influential was the number of research and teaching rankings, while the duration of work did not affect much.

Abstract

Tangerines are fruits that are rich in high vitamin C content. Every orchard owner always tries to improve the quality of their plantation. In the selection of tangerines to be classified as ripe or immature at harvest time, the garden planters are already accustomed, but sometimes the farmer grouping the ripe oranges has problems such as physical limitations of the farmer, which is caused by fatigue factor. because it is still grouping with conventional systems so it is not effective and efficient in classifying ripe oranges. So from that we need a computerized system that can help gardeners in classifying ripe oranges. One of the technologies currently developing in agriculture and plantations is digital image processing using a classification system based on the texture and naïve bayes method. Based on the results that have been made, that the classification system using the Naïve Bayes method on tangerine images can be classified and obtain effective and efficient performance based on testing of 82% so that it can be implemented.

Abstract

The information technology has an important role in a company or agency to run its business process. It can help to optimize the business continuity as in the customer service process. In this case, the company needs an information system to manage the relationship between the customer and company applied into the concept of Customer Relationship Management (CRM). The initial stage in the development of information systems is to design architecture including: technology architecture, data architecture, and business process architecture. The Unified Process (UP) is a framework of the instantiated software process, both the Rational Unified Process (RUP) and Enterprise Unified Process (EUP). The information system architecture of CRM uses the Enterprise UP method. It is an enterprise architecture design that can be used as a reference to build a CRM-based system that can increase core value in service to customers. The results of this study are recommendations for information systems architecture models and methods used to achieve the strategic goals of the organization, especially in terms of customer service.

Abstract

Social media is an application that can make everyone interact with each other and can consume information by sharing content quickly, efficiently and real time. Various kinds of information about someone's activities that we can find on social media, making social media can help to conduct investigations. Some research, using visualization with several graph methods to facilitate the process of analyzing data on social media that is so abundant. But the data used only comes from one social media, while there is still a lot of information on other social media that can be used as data sources for analysis purposes. In this study visualization using the directed graph method will be carried out, then calculate the value of network property and the value of centrality to find out which nodes have many activities which will be carried out in depth searches to find patterns of interaction or activity. Based on the results of the calculated centrality, it is found that on Twitter and Instagram accounts there are many interactions, this can be seen in the value of the indegree and outdegree node. Based on the results of the analysis in this study, information that is important for investigating social media is obtained, such as information about user profiles, posts, comments, preferred social media pages, location, and timestamp, all of which are connected by a line that shows the relationship between the node.

Abstract

The lack of knowledge of palm oil farmers and general public about pests in palm oil plants will result in a lack of crop yields on these plants. The resulted in the impact of many palm oil farmers who cut down trees as an effort to eradicate of pests. The limitations of an experts makes handling palm oil plan pests difficult so it is necessary to have an experts system that is able to identify pests of palm oil and how to control them based on knowledge given directly by human experts. The inference is Forward chaining by tracing the rules based on the answers of users. And then calculated by Certainty Factor method. The result of calculation is in the form of a percentage value of confidence and user can immediately find out the type of pests identified and how to control it. This research found 7 (seven) types of pests that attack palm oil are fire caterpillar Setothosea asigna, caterpillars Dasychira inclusa, bag caterpillar Metisa plana, horn beetle Oryctes rhinoceros, termite Coptotermes curvignathus, wild rat Rattus tiomanicus, dan wild pig Sus crofa. The biggest pest attact on palm oil is Termite Coptotermes Curvignathus is 88,8%

Abstract

The business world often faces changing conditions in its business activities. The right work plan is needed so that the business world can develop, one of which is budget planning. In planning the loan budget in the Cooperative refers to the limit on the number of submissions, there is no nominal loan budget plan so that the cooperative's cash condition is unstable and can affect the development of the cooperative. Then we need a system that can predict the loan budget needed. The method used in this reserch is simple Linear Regression to predict budgets and Tsukamoto Fuzzy Methods for budget optimization. Predicted the loan budget for April 2019 with a total capital of Rp. 500,000,000 using simple linear regression predictions of Rp. 441,690,000, after optimization using the Tsukamoto Fuzzy Method is Rp. 396,960,000 more savings Rp. 44,730,000 or 10.12%.

Abstract

Exact Match is used to bring up sentences only on certain keywords. This study aims to apply the Exact Match method in the Al-qur'an and Hadith applications to find conformity between verses and hadiths. This research simplify for the people to increase their knowledge of the Qur'an and Hadith. This study uses interview techniques for some Muslims regarding the need to learn the quran and the hadith, observation technique is to do a comparison of several hadiths by asking for recommendations from the ustadz/ustazah, identify what are the shortcomings of existing hadith applications, and literature study techniques that are collecting data obtained from the Qur'an and the Hadith. The results of this study are (1) Created an application to match Hadiths that are in accordance the verse with the Exact Match method (2) Showing hadith related to the contents of the selected verse (3) Speed to produce a match in the Application of the Qur'an and Hadith depends on the internet network and the amount of data (4) The number of hadiths that appear is influenced by the number of available hadiths.
