Abstract

Rubber plantation sector is one of the leading commodities in East Kalimantan Province contributing greatly to non-oil and gas exports. Currently, the price of rubber in the world is increasingly competitive. The aim of this research is to predict the rubber prices as a reference for the government and companies in making policies and preparing work plans. Data of 60 months during the period of 2014-2018 taken from Plantation office of East Kalimantan Province has been analyzed using Backpropagation Neural Network (BPNN) algorithm in predicting rubber prices. Based on the testing results, parameters of the BPNN algorithm with ratio of 4: 1, architectural models 5-10-10-10-1, trainlm learning function, learning rate of 0.5, error tolerance of 0.01, and epoch of 1000 have gained good accuracy with a mean square error (MSE) of 0.00015464. The results showed that the BPNN algorithm can be used as an alternative method in forecasting.

Abstract

Human Resources is an important asset in the company to be able to achieve company goals, the selection of the best employees is a way that companies do to motivate employee performance. Company leaders usually have difficulty in evaluating employee performance with various assessment indicators available. This results in decisions that are not objective, to be able to process the best employee selection data that is more accurate and more objective results. Then the Decision Support System is needed in the selection of the best employees. In this study there were 25 Alternative Employees who had met the best employee selection requirements that were processed using the Simple Additive Weighting method and based on 5 assessment criteria, namely the criteria of loyalty, responsibility, behavior / ethics, cooperation, and attendance. From the results of the calculation of the SAW method obtained a top 10 ranking and also obtained that employee work loyalty is very influential on the calculation results with a weight of 30% of the overall weight.

Abstract

Rubella measles is a disease that can infect to the pregnant mothers, toddlers, children, and adults. The purpose of this study is applicate the certainty factor method to the expert system application based on website to diagnose the rubella measles disease. The utilization of information technology into the expert system application can help society to detect the rubella measles disease early. Certainty factor is one method that can be used to handle a problem that is uncertain the answer. In this study, the certainty factor method has been applied on expert system application to diagnose rubella measles based on symptoms of the disease felt by patients. The result of this study is an expert system based on the website can provide information and diagnose symptoms of rubella measles following the questions proposed by the system and symptoms of the disease felt by the patient.

Abstract

The problem of determining distribution routes can be categorized as Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP). TSP is a search for a sequence of locations where a salesman travels from the initial location to a list of locations which must be passed. Each location can only be visited once and ends at the initial location of departure. This study aims to resolve the problem of determining the distribution route for mineral water products at PT. Anugerah Wina Sentosa by implementing the Ant Colony System (ACS) algorithm to conduct route searches. The ACS algorithm is an algorithm adopted from the behavior of ants to determine the shortest route from the nest to the food source. Based on the research, the results of the ACS algorithm show that the greater the case to be resolved will affect the system execution time but still can produce the best distance route. The success of this algorithm is influenced by the determination of the value of the ACS parameter, namely ?, qo, q, ?, ?, the number of ants and the number of ant cycles determined by analyzing the TSP case to be resolved.

Abstract

Indonesia is a developing country in which poverty is one of the problems faced by each province. The government continues to strive to overcome this problem of poverty to be able to create conditions for a prosperous society. The government's efforts to poverty alleviation are by providing some assistance programs. Therefore, it is necessary to build a decision support system that is useful to help the government to make a decision. This decision support system applies the EXPROM II (The Extended Promethee II) method with the weight of objective criteria. There are 15 criteria used based on SUSENAS data from the Statistics Indonesia of East Kalimantan Province. This research resulted in a decision support system that can give priority order of the level of family welfare so that it can be considered or referred by the local government or related agencies in distributing assistance to the society.

Abstract

The number of beach tourism in the Serang Regency or Anyer beach region and the diversity of the desires of every tourist, then tourists are required knowledge of traveling in terms of choosing the desired tourist location. For tourists who already have the experience of traveling on the Anyer beach, it is not too difficult to determine the desired tourist location, but most tourists who do not have the tourist experience on the Anyer beach will have difficulty being able to determine the expected beach tourism location. This study aims to provide recommendations of 24 Anyer beach tourist attractions to tourists. Recommendations generated using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method using 12 criteria. The results of this study are in the form of applications that can be accessed online. The application can produce appropriate recommendations for tourists in the form of alternative beach tourism along with details such as the name of the beach tour, address, coordinates of Google Maps, photos of the state of beach tourism and the price of admission.

Abstract

In this research, we will focus on facial expressions to detect customer satisfaction in mini markets where the service level is less than optimal. To find out the level of custome satisfaction can be seen through facial recognition tahen through CCTV in the mini market. The problems that occur are many customers who do not directly convey the impression that is felt when shopping, while minimarkets and shopping conters must know the level of customer satisfaction to improve sales strategies. Research to solve the problem is still rerely done, therefore one of the roles of intelligent computing is to solve the problem using Support Vector machine (SVM). The purpose of this study is to improve the accuracy of facial expressions of mini market customers through improved preprocessing. The results of the application of the otsu method and the gaussian function can be used for the preprocessing stage through a threshold image that has good image quality. The otsu-gaussian method is not effectively used for preprocessing data sourced from video or images with poor image quality, making it difficult to recognize faces.

Abstract

In everyday life, humans often encounter problems in decision making, where problems that arise can be large or small, which are very influential in the results of decisions. Now humans are developing systems that can help determine the best alternative in a problem, namely the decision support system (DSS) in the decision support system there are alternatives, criteria and weights used to determine the best solution. The quality of human resources is one of the supporting factors to improve the performance productivity of an agency. So, from that competent human resources can support the level of performance, with performance appraisal, it will be known the achievements of each employee, this can be used by agencies as a consideration in determining the best employees. The purpose of this study is to create a good decision support system that can assist managers in evaluating the performance of an employee in an agency. Judging from the problem of the performance appraisal of an employee at PT. Cahaya iqra Mandiri is the object of research that produces the desired answer, the Admin section is a priority and can be implemented to determine neat administration and have important responsibilities in PT. cahaya iqra Mandiri.

Abstract

The compilation of lecture schedules is very important at universities for the continuity of the teaching and learning process of study programs. Such as at Andi Djemma Palopo University, Informatics Engineering Study Program. Frequently occurring alternate lectures to change course schedules is a complex thing considering the pre-existing schedule is well organized. But with the lectures, it is usually difficult to determine schedules, days, hours, rooms, and classes so that, no alternate lectures are coinciding with other subjects. so that in this Case Study, the researcher compared two methods namely the Fitness Method and the Taboo Search Algorithm to see the performance when determining the replacement schedule. The values obtained from the results of the implementation of the two methods above, are with using the fitness method is 40 while for the taboo search the maximum value obtained is 15, based on the order of the schedule of previous courses and courses that will be replaced. Thus, the value obtained by using the taboo search method is in the normal category compared to the changing fitness method. Thus, the researcher can conclude that the value obtained by the taboo search is smaller so that, it is good to be used to determine scheduling.

Abstract

Banyak jalan yang menghubungkan dari berbagai puskemas yang ada di Karawang menuju ke RSUD Karawang dengan jarak tempuh yang berbeda-beda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi kepada pihak ambulance untuk menentukan rute dalam pengantaran pasien ke RSUD Karawang dengan menggunakan algoritma Dijkstra. Algoritma ini digunakan dalam pencarian rute terpendek yang diharapkan dapat menjadi rute terefisien untuk mencapai tujuan dari lokasi yang diinginkan. Algoritma Dijkstra adalah sebuah algoritma rakus (greedy algorithm) yang dipakai dalam memecahkan permasalahan jarak terpendek (shortest path problem) untuk sebuah graf berarah (directed graph) dengan bobot-bobot sisi (edge weights) yang bernilai tak-negatif. Algoritme Dijkstra dapat diimplementasikan/digunakan sebagai alternatif dalam penentuan jarak efisien suatu daerah kedaerah yang lain dalam hal ini adalah penentuan jarak efisien pengantaran pasien oleh ambulan ke RSUD Karawang.
