Abstract

Introduction: Drug abuse is a problem that occurs at the national, regional and global levels. Drug dependence can lead to psychological effects such as emotions, violent behavior, insecurity, depression, and so on. Psychological impacts due to drug dependence can be handled in the form of treatment, rehabilitation or other interventions. Written articles using a Literature Review approach to 11 articles on psychological treatment of drug abuse in the 2017-2021 period using the keywords "Psychological treatment", "Drug abuse", "Self-efficacy", "Therapeutic community" With the aim of knowing the effectiveness of psychological treatment for drug users. Based on the results obtained in psychological treatment of drug abuse from 11 articles in the form of therapeutic community intervention, ablution therapy, expressive writing, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, yoga therapy, group education, logotherapy can improve positive aspects in patients with drug abuse and can reduce the impact or psychological symptoms and dependence on drug users. The advantages obtained from various nursing interventions can help treat or rehabilitate drug users, but from the results of the study there are some limitations in the application of interventions to the treatment.

Abstract

Introduction: Covid-19 is an infectious disease that can spread quickly, this can cause social stigma in the community regarding Covid-19 and can make things worse because individuals have excessive fear and worry about Covid-19.. Objective: This study aims to look at the stigma of society towards positive Covid-19 patients. Methods: This study uses a descriptive design with a cross sectional form. The number of samples in this study was 140 respondents with simple random sampling technique. Result: The results of this study were as many as 52.1% of the people in the West Sidomulyo Village gave a stigma to positive Covid-19 patients. and not worrying about Covid-19 so that health care can still be carried out. Conclusion: It can be said that there are still many people who have stigma against Covid-19 patients, this is a challenge for health workers to make people feel safe and not worry about Covid-19 so that health care can still be carried out.

Abstract

Introduction: Female population 10 to 24 years old occupied almost in 30% of total female population. Female students as one of this subpopulations fall in the late adolescent age and experience a menstrual cycle. It is possible that some of them experience irregular menstrual cycles and have menstrual health issues such as premenstrual syndrome. Lack of early health education in this regard can result difficulty in early detection of menstrual abnormalities and it may develop into a serious reproductive organ disorder that continues into adulthood. Objective: This study aimed to identify the effect of menstrual flow monitoring (MFM) on the knowledge and attitudes related to menstrual health through lectures, demonstrations, and exercise methods, using the menstrual flow chart (MFC) and the menstrual calendar (MC) during sessions. Metode: This study design was quasi-experimental with only one group pretest and posttest. The subjects were 117 female students from the Teacher College of Economics Study Program who were selected by purposive sampling method. The data collected were processed using paired t-test. Data analysis revealed significant increase in the mean score of pretest to second posttest on the variables knowledge (p = 0.006) and attitude (p = 0.000). Result: This study results emphasize the need for further randomized control trial studies aimed at a larger population to disclose more relevant findings.

Abstract

Introduction: Acupressure is a non-pharmacological method of treatment, acupressure therapy is the development of massage therapy that goes participation in participation with the exploitation of acupuncture. The procedure therein remedial programme put into practice digits instead of therapeutic needles made at the same points as those used in acupuncture therapy. Acupressure therapy has many benefits, one of which is to lower your blood pressure. Objective: The objective of the contemplate was to influence the chain reaction of shiatsu remedial programme on parentage coercion in patients with arterial hypertension. Methode: Journal design in the form of literature review. Data sources: google scholar and pubmed. Inclusion criteria: 2016-2020 articles, in Indonesian and English, health journals, discussing suppressing blood pressure for hypertensive patients. Outcome: Based on 5 scientific articles, all articles concluded that hypertensive patients experienced an effect or decrease in blood pressure after using acupressure therapy. Conclusion: Acupressure can lower blood pressure in hypertensive patients.

Abstract

Introduction: the Corona Virus Diseases 19 pandemic first appeared in 2019 in Wuhan, China. Currently, Indonesia has experienced a decline in cases and the world community has been required to implement the Covid 19 protocol as a normal daily habit. Activities in all sectors began to be restored, including higher education (student activities). Objective: this research was conducted to find out how the behavior of students during the adaptation period of new habits, the influence of knowledge on Covid-19 prevention behavior and the factors that influence student behavior in preventing Covid-19. Methods: this study uses a cross sectional study approach with a total of 413 respondents, multivariate test using multiple logistic regression predictive model. Result: the results showed that there was a significant relationship between knowledge and the implementation of the Covid-19 prevention protocol in respondents (p = 0.000; = 0.05) with an OR value of 2.362. The most influential factor on the implementation of health protocols is the knowledge previously obtained from various sources (p value = 0.090). Conclusion: health promotion efforts are needed for students who will carry out normal lecture activities so as not to cause a spike in new cases in the education cluster.

Abstract

Introduction: dissociative trance is susceptible to occur in first year student. This is associated with their ability in dealing with academic stress. Objective: this study aimed to explore the perception of freshmen year who experience trance that were associated with stress. Methods: this qualitative research used descriptive methods. The sampling technique was a purposive sampling. The participants were freshmen in the first semester and students who experienced mass trance. This study used in-depth interview as data collection technique. Result: there were five main themes, psychological responses and coping mechanisms of freshmen year who experience a trance in adapting to a new environment, perceptions of students who experience a trance that are in line with attitudes and emotional states in dealing with stress, impact namely of unresolved stressors on students who are in a trance experiencing a mass trance, the support system needed by students who are in a trance to cope with stress, and the process of the occurrence of a trance. Conclusion: stress factors and responses to cope the stress, as well as beliefs and heredity are considered as triggers for the occurrence of trance in freshmen year. This study described students' perceptions of the occurrence of trance. Further research is needed to find out the specific factors of trance.

Abstract

Introduction: the Covid-19 has made all aspects of life adapt to a new pattern of life. Learning method has changed to be a online distance learning. The role of parents in this methods, have agreat enough proportion for assistance, especially for elementary school-aged children. This is a additional tasks for parents, and can generate a new burden and daily stress. The patience of parents in providing assistance is needed, because it will cause violence to children, such as verbal and behavioral violence, which causes children to experience emotional abused. Objective: this research was conducted to find out how the behavior of students during the adaptation period of new habits, the influence of knowledge on Covid-19 prevention behavior and the factors that influence student behavior in preventing Covid-19. Methods: this research is a quantitative research with a cross sectional design. Data analysis using Pearson correlation test. The research sample was 285 parents assistance online learning for elementary school-aged children, with non-probability sampling method. Result: results showed that there was a significant and positive relationship correlation between stress on online learning assistance and emotional abused conducted on children, (P = 0.0005). Conclusion: parents need education about the impact of emotional abused on their children and Educational institutions need to pay attention to the level of comprehension of parents in assistance children's learning, especially in the use of systems or applications learning.

Abstract

Introduction: COVID-19 has developed into a global pandemic and until now no definitive therapy has been found. COVID-19 mortality is relatively high, especially in patients who have comorbidities. Convalescent plasma therapy, which has been widely used, has not been universally recognized as being able to improve the recovery of COVID-19 patients. Objective: This study aims to determine the efficacy of convalescent plasma therapy in COVID-19 patients. Methods: The research design is a systematic review and meta analysis. Data were obtained from the electronic journal database PubMed, Cochrane Library, ProQuest, SpringerLink, ScienceDirect, Scopus, and Google Scholar with Medical Subject Heading (Mesh) "Effication Plasma Convalescent Therapy, SARS CoV-2". Data were analyzed using PRISMA guidelines. Result: The results of the study: 1) There was no difference in the risk or mortality rate of Covid-19 patients given convalescent plasma therapy with those given standard therapy (OR: 1.004; CI; 0.817 - 1.234; p = 0.970), 2) The recovery rate of COVID-19 patients given convalescent plasma therapy did not differ from those given standard therapy (OR: 0.996; CI: 0.810 – 1.224; p = 0.970). Conclusion: convalescent plasma therapy did not provide sufficient efficacy in the healing process of COVID-19 patients with moderate to severe symptoms.
