Abstract

This research aims to know the entrepreneurial study of entrepreneurial interests (case studies on management students, accounting and computer science of Serang University). It is expected to be able give a benefit and illustrated, that entrepreneurial learning can affect the interest of entrepreneurial. To improve entrepreneurial interest in college students, lecturers are expected to be able to give entrepreneurial learning that will get the students interested in doing entrepreneurial activities. By entrepreneurial learning, students are encouraged and directed to be able to open up their knowledge of entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship can potentially give a good life in current employment conditions. Object in this study are 126 students composed of management, accounting and computer science students. Research methods use the simple linear regression analysis to do data analysis. The studies have shown that entrepreneurial study give a positive impact on the entrepreneurial interest.

Abstract

This study is entitled "The Effect of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) Type of Cooperative Learning Model on the Motivation and Learning Outcomes of Lightning 2 Junior High School Students on Ecosystem Concepts". The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) type of cooperative learning model on the motivation and learning outcomes of SMPN 2 Lightning students on the ecosystem concept. The method used in this research is an experiment with a pre-test and post-test design, the instrument used is an objective test multiple choice form, and a questionnaire. The research was carried out at SMPN 2 Petir by taking samples of students in class VII D (experimental class) and VII E (control class). Sampling was carried out by random sampling technique. The results of the study obtained an average of 40.1 for the experimental class pre-test increased to 71.8 in the post-test value, while the average pre-test in the control class 37.4 increased to 58.4 in the post-test value. Judging from the calculation of the gain tcount (5.12)> ttable (2.38) it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model Team Assisted Individualization type can have a positive effect on motivation and student learning outcomes on the concept of ecosystem

Abstract

This research focuses on the problem of the low quality of education at Cimarga 1 Junior High School at the moment based on the weakness in the management, organization and development of teachers in the learning process. Efforts to improve the quality of school education must be more focused on improving the quality of human resources, in this case, teachers for students for school residents. In this context, the Principal's Quality Improvement program is very relevant and very strategic, taking into account its functions and roles as leaders and managers of educational institution units at the operational level. This research is a school action research, because the research was conducted to solve the problem of the learning process at school. This study discusses how a learning technique is applied and the expected results can be obtained. The results show a graph of teacher performance improvement in the learning process and the ability of teachers when viewed from the average value of teachers in teaching activities that support the school or in the classroom.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effect of Dictogloss Technique as learning media to improve students’ narrative writing at the second grade students of SMA 11 Pandeglang. The researcher paper employs the quantitative research design with the quasi experiment. It used test to collect the data involving observation pre-test and post-test. The observation is conducted before the research was done. The researcher asked to the teacher and students about teaching learning process in the class. The pre-test is conducted to know their basic writingmastery. And the post-test conducted after the treatment. The data analysis is conducted to identify important finding as it is expected by the objective of the research.Based on the results of research and analysis of the data, obtained mean of post-test score in the experiment class was 72,89and the control class was 43,58. It shows that there are significant differences from the results obtained both of classes. The results of hypothesis testing by using Mann-Whitney found that on degree of significance 5% ( α= 0.5) two-tailed was 0,00 was α= 0,05 or two-tailed< α= 0.5 (0,00<0,05) it means was rejected and was accepted.The findings reveal that the effect of Dictogloss Technique is helpful and easy to conduct. In addition, this media can improve students’ narrative writing. In relations to the students response on the media, found that students response the media positively. Moreover, they feel happy and enthusiastic to practice this media in narrative writing mastery.Based on finding of research, it is significant for the teacher to choose the appropriate media for improving students’ narrative writing mastery, particularly Dictogloss Technique as mentioned above.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to investigate whether there was a significant effect of two stay two stray technique toward students’ reading mastery on narrative text at the tenth grade of SMK Mathla’un Nawakartika. The sample of this research was 48 students taken from the tenth grade of SMK Mathla’un Nawakartika. 25 students were from X OTKP as the experimental class and 23 students were from X TKJ as the controlled class.The method used in this study was a quantitative method that designed the experimental.In collecting the data, the researcher conducted test twice to both the classes in which one was as pre-test and another was post-test.And in analyzing the data, the researcher used t-test formula to find out whether there was a significant difference between two variables in this research.The result of statistic calculation obtained that the value of t-observation (to) was 5,60and the degree of freedom (df) was 48. In the table of the significance 5%, the value of (df) = 46 was 1.6735. By comparing the value of to (5,60) with the value of tt (1.6735), it could be seen that the value of to was higher than the value of tt. Then, the alternative hypotheses (Ha) was accepted and the null hypotheses (Ho) was rejected. Based on the result, it could be concluded that there is significant effect of Two Stay Two Stray technique toward students’ reading mastery onnarrative text.

Abstract

The research is aimed at finding out the effect of using Read, Encode, Annotate, Ponder (REAP) strategy toward reading comprehension in exposition text of the eleventh grade students of Islamic Senior High School Nurul’Amal Menes in 2019 Academic Year.The researcher collected from 54 students, by divided them into two classes, one class as the experiment class as much as 27 students and the other class as control class as much as 27 students. The population as much as 54 students of the eleventh grade of Islamic Senior High School Nurul’Amal Menes. The method of this research is experiment method. In this research, the researcher use pre-test and post-test to collect data. In which the test took form of the t-test, the data used to prove the hypothesis being proposed. In the pre-test, the standard deviation of experimental class was 6,88 and the standard deviation of control class was 7,47 while in the post-test the standard deviation of experimental class was 8,42 and the standard deviation of control class was 11,48. In the post-test of t-test, the researcher can conclude that of t count> table or 3,23> 1,671 so Ha = t count > t table therefore Ha is accepted and there is a significant effect of using Read, Encode, Annotate, Ponder (REAP) strategy toward students reading comprehension on exposition text.

Abstract

The purposes of this research is to determine:(1) The difference between students’ learning achievement of civics education between students who learn by using cooperative learning STAD model and using expository method (lecture); (2) the difference between students’ learning achievement of civics education between students who have high interpersonal intelligence and students who have low interpersonal intelligence; (3) the interaction of applying cooperative learning STAD model and interpersonal intelligence toward civics learning achievement; (4) the difference students’ learning achievement of civics education between the students using cooperative learning STAD model who have high interpersonal intelligence and the students using expository learning method who have high interpersonal intelligence; and (5) the difference learning achievement of civics education between the students using cooperative learning STAD model who have low interpersonal intelligence and the students using expository learning method who have low interpersonal intelligence.This research uses quantitative approach with experimental method. The results show (1) students’ civics education achievement by applying cooperative STAD learning model is higher than students’ civics education achievement by expository learning method; (2) students’ civics education achievement who has high interpersonal intelligence is higher than students’ civics education achievement who has low interpersonal intelligence; (3) there is interaction between applying cooperative STAD learning model and high interpersonal intelligence towards students’ civics education achievement; (4) students’ civics education achievement who has high interpersonal intelligence by applying cooperative STAD learning model is higher than the students’ civics education achievement who has high interpersonal intelligence by applying expository learning method; and (5) students’ civics education achievement who has low interpersonal intelligence by applying cooperative STAD learning model is higher than the students’ civics education achievement who has low interpersonal intelligence by applying expository learning method.

Abstract

Physics is one of the subjects studied by students, especially students in the Department of Natural Sciences. The fact that Physics is a subject that is difficult for students to understand. Students complain about how difficult it is to understand physics, so that it impacts on the low results of student learning evaluations. Based on the results of interviews with teachers in the field of study and initial observations at SMAN 8 Pandeglang, especially class XII-IPA 3 found several causes of the students' lack of understanding of physics subjects, one of which is the lack of student participation during the learning process, which causes students to be less motivated in learning physics that has an impact on the low student learning evaluation results Based on the above problems, it is necessary to implement a learning model that emphasizes the maximum student participation during the learning process so that it can improve student learning outcomes and can train or grow students' science process skills. One of them is a guided inquiry learning model. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method whose model was developed by Kemmis and Mc Taggart which consists of several continuous cycles. the results showed that all indicators that have been determined as successful assessments (PTK) with the guided inquiry model were successful

Abstract

(Research Action Class In The Class VIII Junior High School Muhammadiyah Labuan) This research aims to improve critical thinking skills of students in the lesson PPKn in students of class VIII JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL Muhammadiyah Labuan learning model by using Inkuiri. This research is a Research Action Class (PTK). A sampling of research is grade VIII JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL Muhammadiyah Labuan. Application of the learning model used was Inkuiri by using the techniques in a group discussion. The instruments used are the now the observation sheets, as well as documentation. Data analysis techniques using the percentage of the results the results of the critical thinking of students in the learning process and is supported by the results of the question form given in the end of each meeting of each cycle. This research is carried out in 2 cycle by applying the model Inkuiri. The steps and learning implemented, namely a change in the delivery of the subject matter, students analyze problems, establishment of a discussion group by changing the grouping students based from his achievements, students pair up to discuss, representative groups of students to convey the results of the discussion in front of the class. The results showed that the critical thinking ability of students of class VIII JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL Muhammadiyah Labuan improved after he used a model of learning inkuiri learning in the PPKn with the subject matter of democracy. This increase is evident in the increased critical thinking ability of students score average of 68.75 in cycles I and rose to 90.18 on cycle II is the result of the sheet now undertaken by students. Students who achieve success criteria have elevated into 39.29% in cycle I and rose to 92.86% in cycle II. Observation results also showed an increase in the student's activities from cycle to cycle I II results from the observation sheet is meeting I of 44.75 meeting to meeting to 57.37 II III and IV the meeting to 67.97 78.35 these results seen from the average score students who obtained, i.e. students increased, among others: students actively in the learning, students are more generous in finding and collecting information is desired, and students also have more opportunity to study with a friend.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the extent of increasing mathematical understanding ability between students who get the Advance Organizer learning model and students who do not get the Advance Organizer learning model. This research is a quasi experimental design type of non equivalent pretest-postest control group design. The population in this research were students of information systems at the faculty of technology and information by taking a sample of two classes, namely class A as an experimental class and class B as a control class. The research instrument used was a mathematical understanding ability test. Based on the research results, it is known that there are differences of mathematical understanding ability between students who get the Advance Organizer learning model and those who do not get the Advance Organizer learning model. So by using the Advance Organizer learning model, it can improve the ability of mathematical understanding when compared to the learning process that does not use the Advance Organizer model. In addition, the activities and understanding of students in learning reflect the implementation of learning well and students give positive responses, where the learning that is carried out can further enhance students’ motivation and mathematical understanding abilities in solving problems.
