Abstract

The phenomenon of Islamophobia has always been a contemporary issue, especially in a world that is supposed to be global and full of diversity. In fact, in some Muslim-majority countries, the phenomenon is actually spread. Further study found that among the reasons was a misunderstanding in exploring and understanding Islam as a religion. Especially on the meaning of Islam as a universal religion for humans. Methodologically, this literature research model uses a historical literacy approach in the form of a Western phobia of Islam (especially religion) in the Middle Ages (anti-semitic), primary sources of Islamic teachings, and Islamic religious philosophy specifically excavated from Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas. Al-Attas’ analysis is used based on his capacity to understand ideas about metaphysics and Western civilization and Islam itself. The theoretical study is focusing on al-Attas' conception of 'corruption of the knowledge' that occurs as a result of 'loss of adab'. This is a global challenge for contemporary Muslims, the 'pursuit of knowledge' ; that is, the spread of 'erroneous science' that is like true, but contains falsehood and brings damage to the correct understanding of Islam. This study found that 'the corruption of the Knowledge' about Islam often results in Islamophobia; which begun with misunderstanding about the very essential things in Islam. Muslims join in phobias towards their religion because of the loss of adab. Most of the misconceptions result from 1) studying Islam without referring to scientific authority 2) framing social media about Islam 3) Secularization which reduces Islam is only limited to ancient Arabic culture.

Abstract

This paper is aimed to analyze how wayang can be used as a medium of teaching BIPA in PTKI in facing industry 4.0 revolution era. Wayang (shadow puppet) as learning media of BIPA can be applied in industry 4.0 revolution era in advanced level by using a simplified performance of wayang as a learning media. The method in this research was descriptive analytic method. The techniques of collecting the data included documentary techniques and content analysis. The data were analysed, described,  and concluded. The techniques of analysis data used Literature Based Thematic (LBT) and interactive model. LBT, a model of literature appreciation, is applied in learning the simplified wayang performance. This model will lead students to learn literature as a way of life. Students watch wayang performance in a film together in Indonesian language, then students discuss the good things or character education that need to be implemented or not in life, students are also asked to compare the characters each other, after that the students write the results of the discussion in Indonesian language and they will have a peer-review activity to evaluate their work.

Abstract

The manuscript is written to portray a hamlet which formed pesantren (Islamic Boarding School) in which the santri (students) consists of santri mukim (students staying in boarding school) from various regions and santri kalong (local residents) and in which there is a mosque, a boarding school, an Al-Quran educational park, a madrasah diniyah, houses of clerics (in one settlement of village), the learning system of bandongan using the Tarjumah Book with Pegon-language written by KH Ahmad Rifa'i. The action of K. Rifai against Dutch colonialism was known as the Rifaiyah movement, his resistance with the movement of writing the Book of Tarjumah which contained Tawheed, Fiqh, and Sufism written in Pegon. Pegon was a resistance form against colonial Latin writing. Until now it was continued by his santri in the village where he lived serving as the cleric of Islamic Boarding School. The location of this research is in Tambangsari Hamlet, Kedungwinong Village, Sukolilo District, Pati Regency, Central Java. The data were obtained from January to June 2019 through interviews and observation with a descriptive qualitative approach. This hamlet of rice plantation and palawija (secondary crops) has formed a specialty called the tarjumah santri village. The successor generation of K. Rifai’s student who introduced the Book of Tarjumah in Tambangsari Hamlet was K.Hannan and it is now continued by his grandson. The learning of the Tarjumah Book had formed a distinctive hamlet community, namely dukuh santri. The obedience in worship with the knowledge of Islamic religion through the tradition of learning the Salaf Tarjumah across ages and genders and with the behavior in life adhering to Islamic law has been a social reality.

Abstract

In recent decades groups emerged in the name of the Islamic Group and claimed that their group was the most righteous and followed the Prophet in the case of aqidah, worship and Mu'amalah, while they were not aware that they fell into excessive (Ghuluw) both ghuluw in Aqidah , worship and Mua’malah, among the reasons is wrong in placing (Fiqh Tanzil) which distinguishes between the principal (Usul) and the branch (Furu’). While on the other hand there also emerged groups who claimed to be the most moderate (Wasath), Tolerant to the point of being too far and they fell into disparaging (tafrit) so that they sacrificed things that were in principle (aqeedah). Moderation (Washatiyyah) is also often misunderstood in its meaning and implementation, and it is not uncommon for certain groups to claim punishment for someone or other groups as radical or extreme. This study focuses on the first two issues relating to the Washatiyyah concept in Aqeedah and the analysis and criticism of extremism in aqeedah. the second is the determination of Standardization of wasathiyyah and wasathiyah methodology so that not only any group can claim that he and his group are the most moderate (wasath). And the most accurate implementation of wasathiyyah is on the subject of Shirk and in this case Ibn Taimiyyah is the most authoritative figure to be the Source of Reflections in the aqidah as well as the standard in wasathiyyah as he explains in his book "al-Aqidah al-Wasathiyyah"

Abstract

Higher education curriculum terms of reference are absolutely necessary to develop science and prevent unequal quality of graduates. Curriculum courses Islamic economics are integrated is the curriculum that evolves to adjust to the needs of the times will however still be guided by the moral message of Islam. The main objective of this research is to explore the redesign of the sharia economic curriculum during the establishment of policies for independent learning and independent campuses and to find out the appropriate Islamic economic curriculum design that can be applied during the policy era for independent learning and independent campus. This research uses a qualitative approach. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis. Sources of data in this study come from books, journals and interviews with informants related to the preparation of the Islamic economic curriculum at several universities related to the policy of independent learning-independent campus. From the results of the study can be obtained conclusion that the program policy of independent learning and campus independence is a simplification effort to accelerate the achievement of a competitive college. Higher education through study programs is expected to realize an increase in the quality of learning programs in providing education, especially in the sharia economic economics which is in the State Islamic University of Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslim population who are the actors of various types of economic practices in this modern era. However, fiqh products is not able to answer all of problems in modern economic activities. So we need an alternative and solution amid the high stretching of Muslim entrepreneurs who want to migrate to sharia-based business activities. Maqasid al-Sharia is a principle in Islamic law which is expected to be able to solve these problems. Asset management is the object of this research as a way to fully and broadly understand the implementation of sharia values in economic and business activities. This research was conducted qualitatively with a phenomenological approach. The results of this study indicate that there is a strong relationship in the implementation of Maqasid al-Sharia values on asset management of ISMI East Java members both theoretically and practically. The type of asset management that uses the Islamic Wealth Management (IWM) approach has all the indicators in Maqasid al-Muamalah which include al-rawaj, al-wudluh, al-hifzh, al-tsabat and al-'adl. As for the presence of ISMI as an entity that accommodates Muslim entrepreneurs with the same goal of reviving the spirit of Islam in a congregation has many benefits. Among these benefits are educational benefits, networking benefits and social benefits. ISMI East Java as an educational forum for members in studying Islamic economics and business and progressive business development with the involvement of technology. ISMI East Java is also a forum for friendship and productive discussions that create opportunities in the form of cooperation (syirkah). From a social aspect, ISMI East Java also has activities around ZISWAF as a manifest of Islamic philanthropy in distributing assets to people in need.

Abstract

Indonesian society has a diversity of social, cultural, political aspirations, and economic capabilities. This diversity directly affects the ability of lecturers to carry out teaching, the ability of universities to provide lecture experiences, and the ability of students to process lectures and process information into something that can be translated as a result of lectures. This diversity becomes an independent variable that has a significant contribution to the success of lectures in Indonesian language education both as a process and as a result. Therefore, this diversity must be a factor that is taken into account and taken into account in determining the teaching of the Indonesian language which is not only in the form of linguistic rules and psychological aspects, but also the cultural aspects of the Indonesian people who are the largest community in Southeast Asia.

Abstract

Indonesia has a variety of religions, ethnicities, cultures, customs, and traditions. One of the attitudes that must be instilled as a good citizen is an attitude of tolerance between religious communities. This study aims to determine: what, why, and how the attitude of tolerance among religious communities is carried out in the village of Sukoreno, Jember Regency. There are 3 different religions in this area. Namely: Islam, Christianity, and Hinduism. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method. It is a research method that focuses on the data obtained directly based on phenomena that exist in society. The research is carried out in-depth investigations in order to obtain the necessary information. The results of this study state that the people in the village of Sukoreno, Jember Regency are unique, which makes them able to live side by side without any conflicts that cause a break in the harmony of social life. The results of this study indicate that a key to the tolerant attitude is found, namely using the Javanese term "Tentrem Lan Ngajeni." It means peace and respect. This term was expressed by several religious experts in this area. So, that the harmony among religious communities in this Sukoreno village, Jember Regency, is well maintained.

Abstract

This research departs from the problem of scientific integration that never ends. In the midst of these problems, State Islamic University (UIN) of Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin (SMH) Banten as one of Islamic Higher Education Institutions has made the scientific paradigm of integration-comparative-diffusion as the development of the integration of religious and scientific sciences. This research will answer several problems, how is the integrative-comparative-diffusion paradigm as the scientific foundation of UIN SMH Banten, as well as its implementation in curriculum preparation. By using a qualitative approach and interactive analysis. This research resulted in two findings, including epistemologically the scientific paradigm of UIN SMH Banten about integration-comparative-diffusion which is a development of Islamic epistemology developed by Ismail Razi al-Faruqi and Kuntowijoyo who try to unite religion and science as a scientific model in religious education institutions. Islam. Second, the practical arrangement of the curriculum using the integration-comparative-diffusion scientific paradigm, is still very limited and still theoretical, because it has not been translated into the student curriculum. This concept does not describe the four domains of the curriculum, namely the philosophical, material, methodological, and strategic domains.

Abstract

يهدف هذا البحث إلى الكشف عن أحد فروع علم البلاغة، وهو البديع وأطوار نشأته والأسرار البديعية من أنواع السجع في بعض السور القرآنية من الجزء الثلاثين. واستخدم في هذا البحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، حيث تم فيه بيان عن البديع وأطوار نشأته والسجع وأنواعه، ثم تحليل الآيات من سور النبأ والنازعات وعبس والتكوير التي تتضمن فيها السجع مع ذكر أنواعه. ومن أهم نتائج هذا البحث أن البديع علم يعرف به وجوه تحسينات الكلام بعد رعاية مطابقته لمقتضى الحال ووضوح الدلالة. و أن البديع يتطور مثل غيره من العلوم بداية من القرن الثالث الهجري حتى القرن السابع الهجري حتى أصبح البديع مكتمل المعالم ومشتمل العناصر. وأن سور النبأ والنازعات وعبس والتكوير متضمنة جميع أنواع السجع في النثر وهي السجع المطرف والمرصع والمتوازي والموازنة والطويل والمتوسط والقصير، مما يجعل هذه السور أكثر تأثيرا في نفوس السامعين وأكثر جمالا ورونقا في لسان قارئيها، يليق بجلال كتاب الله ويتمشى مع أهداف تنزيله لهداية الناس إلى طريقه القويم.
