In this paper, a model of swarm movement in triangular formation is considered. The flocking of geese happening in nature motivates this model. The model is described by several integrator systems. The movement of the swarm formation is required to preserve a triangle formation from one particular position to the other position. The triangular formation above is translated to a functional cost that must be minimized. This functional cost consists of an error function, repellant term and energy put to control each agent. The theorem of swarm movement in a triangular formation and some simulation results are presented in the end of the paper. Â

In the paper, we explore Dempster-Shaver’s theory and fuzzy preference relations for a decision making. Firstly, we discuss some necessary anf suficient conditions for constructing additive consistency fuzzy preference relation. With respect to the Deng et. al.’s work, we combined these to construct a method for decision making. Finally, two examples are presented as illustrations of the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In 1961 Maehara introduced a proof-theoretical method to prove the interpolation theorem for standard logics. By developing Maehara’s method, we can prove interpolation theorem for some non-standard logics, including the commutative predicate  logics  Fle dan Fle,w. In the present paper we show that by modifying Maehara’s method we can also prove the interpolation theorem for non-commutative predicate logics FL and FLw.

. This article presents differentiable characteristics of the Blancmange function on â„. The function has singularities of each point on â„. The first, it will be proven that function is continuous at each point on â„, and then by constructing of an infinite series of the saw tooth function, will be proven that the Blancmange function is differentiable nowhere at each point on â„. At the end of this article, also discussed integrable analysis of Blancmange function. Â

In this research discussed about control of data transmission systems with a single network source. Linier quadratic regulator (LQR) control with discrete time is used to control the systems. The linier quadratic regulator (LQR) control is optimal control with quadratic objective function and has linear constrains. The control has aim to optimizing the acceptance rate of data transmission. The data transmission systems have a single network source, can receive 100 % the entering data, although have time delay.

Tulisan ini membicarakan tentang penerapan bootstrap untuk pemilihan model regresi linier terbaik. Model regresi linier terbaik yang terpilih adalah model dengan estimasi sesatan prediksi kuadrat minimal atas semua model regresi yang mungkin yaitu sebanyak 2p-1 model dengan p: banyaknya variabel prediktor. Metode Bootstrap memilih suatu model dengan meminimalkan rata-rata sesatan prediksi kuadrat berdasarkan resampling data yang dibangkitkan melalui pasangan data dan residual, dengan mempertimbangkan juga variabel prediktor yang terlibat sesedikit mungkin. Pemilihan variabel berdasarkan bootstrap pasangan data dan bootstrap residual dengan n ukuran sampel bootstrap adalah konsisten. Dan jika ukuran sampel bootstrap diambil m dengan , pemilihan variabel bootstrap juga konsisten. Hasil dari suatu simulasi dengan SPLUS disajikan dalam tulisan ini. Â

In Situbondo, seaweed drying is currently conducted tradityonally. This process produces low quality seaweeds. An alternative way to cope this problem is to develop an hybrid power drying equipment utilizing heat energy from fuel and solar energy. The result of this drying depends on heat distribution. To understand the heat dispersion, one need to analyse temperature distribution in the drying equipment, in particular in the drying plate. Therefore, a model distribution on plate is developed when the heat in from solar and stove. The model is solved using Finite Different Method. The solution will be formulating to the central, side and corner of the plate. Computation with Matlab will be compared with the result of complements Fluent 6.0 software. The result show that the heat transfer occurs from one area in the plate to others areas due to temperature difference. The profile of the temperature distribution decreases and dispers vertically and horizontally to the edge and the bottom of the plate.

Dikemukakan masalah pengendali (controller) suboptimal , yaitu mencari pengendali yang diperkenankan sehingga kinerja dari obyek terkendali (sistem lup tertutup) sesuai dengan yang diharapkan.  Pembahasan diawali dengan gambaran singkat mengenai persamaan Riccati aljabar, kemudian dikaji syarat perlu dan cukup untuk eksistensi pengendali suboptimal . Selanjutnya, verifikasi dari kinerja pengendali yang diperoleh dilakukan dengan mengaplikasikannya pada struktur fleksibel untuk meredam vibrasi.

Let  be a noncommutative ring and  be a multiplicative subset of . The right (left) ring of quotients does not exist for every. A necessary condition of existence right (left) ring of quotients is  right (left) permutable and right (left) reversible. A multiplication subset  is called a right (left) denominator if it is right (left) permutable and right (left) reversible. The ring  has a right (left) ring of quotients with respect to  if and only if  is a right (left) denominator set. We can construct right (left) ring of quotients by using Ore localizations.

The nitrogen dynamics model  related to algae growth is proposed. The form of the model is nonlinear differential equation system. From these model, the stability of the equilibrium point is disscussed. The stability is analized through the eigen values of the Jacobian matrix that is obtained from linearized system. From the simulation results is found that ammonia-nitrogen, nitrite-nitrogen, and nitrate-nitrogen concentration will achieve to a certain value. The changed of ammonia-nitrogen, nitrite-nitrogen, and nitrate-nitrogen concentration are effected by the algae density. If the alga density increase then the ammonia-nitrogen and nitrite-nitrogen concentrations will increase but the nitrate concentration will decrease. Â
