Abstract

Signal is a wave that can be expressed by physical phenomenon. Mathematically signal wave can be represented as a function of single or many independent variables, for example signal wave over building as a function of distance or time. In fact, signal spreading as a wave have many attenuation, for example is caused by difraction  when the signal over the urban area or building. The purpose of the research  is to present  the signal path loss model in the urban area by using Hata model. The  result of the computation has shown  that the decreasing of the  signal  path  loss in urban area can be effected by  the increasing of  the receiver antenna height.

Abstract

Biometrics is a technology that used on computer systems in the introduction of a person using a part of the human body. One part of the body that can be used in biometric systems are human iris, due to the nature of the iris of the eye that will not change and is unique among person with another person. One application of biometrics using human iris is on the smartphone. The system was built using OpenCV as the main library. Proposed recognition system was divided into two stages, there was iris recognition stage and iris matching stage. Recognition stage began with taking the image, and then do the pre-processing stage which consists of scaling operations to a smaller size and grayscaling, then proceed to the segmentation stage, using Canny edge detection method, circle Hough transform method for detecting circle of the iris and the pupil, and Daugman's rubber sheet models for normalization, then proceed to the feature extraction stage using Gabor Filter and Average Absolute Deviation. Matching phase was made using euclidean distance method to measure the similarity distance between two iris features. Tests carried out with 10 eye images, each of which 5 left and right eye images are derived from the research subjects. The results of this study concluded that the optimal threshold for this system was 475 with a percentage of 36% False Reject Rate, False Acceptance Rate 40%, 38% system error ratio, and the Genuine Acceptance Rate 64%.

Abstract

In this journal, we will discuss concerning with a dynamical model of growth of seaweed biomass. The model will be applied in the biomass growth of Gracillaria  seaweed. The dynamical model is developed from the simple logistic model by considering the influence of resource absorption of ecosystem which support the environment. We assume that the resource absorption changes time dependent. By this assume, we include that the carrying capacity as function of time. To analyze the stability of the model equation, here we use the linearization method of the expansion series

Abstract

The aims of Economic Production Quantity models are for manage the production schedule and product inventory. The first Economic Production Quantity model developed by E.W Taft on 1918. Taft make some asumption such as daily demand rate constant, daily production rate constant, not stockout allowed, single item product and daily production rate are more than daily demand rate. On the process of delivery product,  there is not transportation cost. Pasandideh dan Niaki on 2010 was constructed an Economic Production Quantity models with discrete delivery order. In this research we discussed the Economic Production Quantity model which products delivered by multiple palet system and with transportation cost.

Abstract

In several statistics handbooks of statistics gave the following formula for the computation of the Kolmogorov goodness of fit statistic is    . And the alternative formula test statistic  to  measure  distance for two distribution functions is used   For actual data, the difference is likely to be less than the upper bound. This form makes it clear that an upper bound on the difference between these two formulas is  For example, for N = 20, the upper bound on the difference between these two formulas is 0.05  For N = 100, the upper bound is 0.01. In practice, to large sample sizes (say N ≥ 50), these formulas are essentially equivalent.

Abstract

In this paper we study the use of the closed graph principle applied to direct sum closed subspace of a Banach Space. We will first discuss the concept of a closed graph described in  the form of theorem or principle. The properties of closed linear mapping  related to the concept of a closed graph will also be explained in detail in the  form of two lemmas. In order to prove the  closed graph principle we utiliize an  open mapping principle. The objective of this study is to show that each  direct sum of a closed subspace will exactly resulted one linear mapping that has  a property of bounded projection. Our results show that a uniqueness of bounded projection on Banach Space can always be obtained from direct sum of two closed subspace. Furthermore, open mapping can be generated  from  premise of a closed graph having certain  conditions

Abstract

Malaria disease is a parasite’s infection disease that can infect healthy human through Anopheles mosquito bite that contains parasite.  In this modern century, traditional medicines has grown better whether in it’s purpose or it’s presentation.  Meniran herb plant (Phyllanthus Niruri Linn) is one of plants that can be used tradisionally where it contains a compound from alkaloid’s, flavonoid’s, and lignan’s group.  Several researches show that the group compounds has an antimalaria activity.  The objectives of this research are to detect the influence of dosages, and days factors and their interaction to parasitemia Plasmodium Berghei percentage in extract test of meniran herb plant with metanol solvent that experimented in ”in vivo” culture on mice (Mus Musculus).  The objectives is to determine optimal dosage (per-centage) in diffusing parasitemia growth.  From examination and discussion result that both factors are inspected with its dosages, days, and their interaction influence significantly to pa-rasitemia percentage.  Refer to diffusing percentage, the highest percentage in 800.128 mg/kg mouse WG dosage is 61.82%.  So it can be explained that 800.128 mg/kg  mouse WG dosage are optimal to diffusing  6182 parasitemia growth for every 10000 eritrosit in mouse’s body.

Abstract

Dalam perkembangan IPTEK seringkali dilakukan pengiriman image melalui suatu media misalnya satelit. Dalam proses pengiriman image ini seringkali mengalami noise (gangguan) yang mengakibatkan image yang diterima menjadi tidak jelas (kabur). Untuk mendapatkan image yang mirip dengan aslinya maka ganguan ini harus dihilangkan (denoising). Dalam analisa image, dapat ditentukan image terbaik dengan menghilangkan gangguan. Analisa image ini dapat dilakukan dengan metode cosinus Fourier (DCT) yang kemudian dikembangkan dalam metode cosinus paket (CPT) maupun dengan metode wavelet (DWT) yang kemudian dikembangkan menjadi metode wavelet paket (WPT). Kebaikan dalam analisa dapat dilihat dari besar kecilnya penyimpangan yang terjadi. Semakin kecil penyimpangannya semakin baik analisa imagenya. Salah satu ukuran untuk menentukan besar penyimpangan adalah dengan menentukan besar MSE (Mean Squared Error). Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan perbandingan analisa image wajah digital menggunakan metode cosinus paket (CPT) dan metode wavelet (DWT) dengan tujuan menentukan image wajah terbaik menggunakan metode CPT dan DWT serta menentukan metode yang lebih efektif. Penelitian ini merupakan kajian literatur yang dikembangkan dengan simulasi menggunakan software S+Wavelets. Dalam analisa image wajah digital metode DWT lebih efektif dari metode CPT.

Abstract

A fuzzy graphs  is a nonempty set together with a pair function  and satisfied  This paper described about some operations on fuzzy graphs such as union, join, compositions and cartesian product. Complement of union two fuzzy graphs is join of their complement, join complement of two fuzzy graphs is union their complement. Complement of composition two strong fuzzy graphs is composition of their complement, but complement of cartesian product two stong fuzzy graphs is need not cartesian product of their complement.
