Jurnal Ilmiah Ilmu Ushuluddin (p-ISSN: 1412-5188 / e-ISSN: 2549-3752) is open access and peer-reviewed journal of Islamic Studies published by the Ushuluddin Faculty of UIN Antasari Banjarmasin. The journal is published twice a year (June and December) in both print and online versions and provides a forum for publishing the original research articles and review articles related to issues in the area of Islamic Studies such as Qur’an and Hadits Studies, Religious Studies, Islamic Philosophy, and Islamic Spirituality (Sufism) from scholars of related disciplines.

This paper studies about the developing of ilm kalam. As for the writer, there aremany historical events that colored the muslims thought in field of ushuluddin. Thestatus of islamic theology (faith) in the period of the Prophet and his companions werevery different with the mutakkilimins thought in next century. The expression and thediscussion and the argumentations were submitted is really different between propheticperiod and mutakklimin one. Even, in the body of mutakkalimin its self there areseveral models in expression and argumentation. This reality was caused by manyfactors and conditions. By seeing the developing of ilm ushuluddin time by time, can beconcluded that the thought of intelectual muslim in last time was relevant with thechallange in that time. It means that in our period today where the the science and thetechnology evolved rapidly, needed the new model of ilm tauhid that relevant with thesituation and the condition today. So that, the world of God (ayat kauniyyah) that wemay find in many verses in Alquran must be learned in particular.

This study wants to explore the story of Prophet Moses and Khidr as figures of adult education in the perspective of Islamic education. The main issue of this study is how the concept of adult education in the perspective of Islamic education is able to increase the spectrum space of andragogical education. By using content analysis and narrative approaches that are primarily sourced QS. al-Kahfi: 60-82, this study seeks to show the values of Islamic education that are based on the theory of andragogical education. The characterization of Moses and Khidr as a figure of andragogical education is: Moses is present as the subject of andragogical education which has a sense of curiosity and Khidr as an object, a figure who has ladunni knowledge and high spiritual abilities. Through the method of lecture, discussion and demonstration, Musa-Khidr's narrative dialogue shows adult learning that contains the values of Islamic education, namely the moral value between teacher and student and morality in learning. The implication of this paper is an effort to contribute to scientific repertoire in the world of education as one of the dimensions of the naratological miracles of the Qoran.

Thought -oriented feminism Indonesia with a Western perspective characteristic rational, materialistic and quantitative had been implicated in the occurrence of friction with the values in the eastern -oriented society that upholds harmonitas the characteristics, the spirituality, and the quality. Murata thought was based on Eastern perspective needed to be studied and received great attention, not only as an answer to the problems faced by the dominance of western orientation, but also as a counterweight to the tendency that the biassed too. Murata thought used the mystic Taoism and Islam, seeing the gender relations as relations dualist - complementary, relations two seemingly contradictory qualities, but it was one unit. The relationships found in all reality, include: people, nature and the God. Opposition of masculinity and femininity was not in the sense of separateness, but rather in the sense of unity, equality and reciprocity.

Tulisan ini difokuskan berbicara tentang justifikasi kekerasan atas nama kitab suciAlquran, seperti yang pernah melatarbelakangi pemboman di Indonesia, terutamayang dilakukan oleh Imam Samudera. Justifikasi tersebut bertolak dari penganuliran(naskh) luar biasa terhadap keberlakuan ratusan ayat-ayat damai yang disebutsebagai ayat kesabaran, pemberian maaf atau ayat rekonsiliasi dengan hanyasatu atau sedikit ayat yang disebut sebagai ayat pedang. Status penganuliran luarbiasa tersebut menjadi kontroversi yang tak berkesudahan di kalangan pakar ilmuilmuAlquran. Para ulama tidak hanya berpolemik dalam mengidentifikasi ayatmana yang disebut sebagai ayat pedang dan ada atau tidaknya penganuliran,melainkan juga jumlah ayat damai yang dianulir tersebut yang berkembang secaradramatis dalam sejarah yang panjang. Penganuliran tersebut bertolak dari penafsiranayat-ayat damai secara tidak utuh, seperti pemahaman ayat yang tidak sesuai dengankonteks sesungguhnya dan penganuliran ayat-ayat teologis dan moral yang tidakmungkin teranulir. Penganuliran tersebut berpengaruh besar dalam formasi fiqh jihd.

Islamic tradition, well known as Prophetic Hadith, is not only recorded in the primary Hadith Books such as ShahhBukhr, Shahh Muslim, etc, but also in the other books like Historiography and the works about Islamic Law(Fiqh). Fiqh al-Sunnah, the masterpiece of al-Sayyid Sbiqs, is one of the works about Islamic Law that mentionmany hadiths for strengthening the argumentation in it. It has been being reference for many people in the world to studyIslamic Law. It has translated into several different languages. Although the author claimed his argumentation basedon valid hadiths, some of them do not actually fulfill the requirements of the valid hadith. So, this paper discussedabout al-Sayyid Sbiqs applied theory of hadith. Some hadith in his book will be analyzed to prove his theory. Butafter all, Fiqh al-Sunnah must be appreciated well.

Cases of racism have occurred in the early days of the emergence of Islam, which later became the political legitimacy in which in the leadership space in the Arabian Peninsula the tribe of Quraish is a tribe that dominates. This is reinforced by the argument of hadith which became the basis of that legitimacy. Nonetheless, in fact, there are many other propositions that seem quite contrary to the proposition, such as the Qur’an and other hadith. Therefore, the hadith about political racism which in this case about the domination of tribal leadership of Quraish becomes important to be reinterpreted by using hermeneutic point of view and contextualization of hadith. With this view, the election of a leader is not based on a particular tribe, although assessing of the leadership qualities of the future leader as well as his responsibility in carrying out the mandate of the leader. In the context of Indonesian, the dominance of a tribe in political space is controlled by the political interest of various circles, such as political elites and radical groups. The view that political domination held by a particular group is only used as a “scapegoat” to overthrow the political opponents.

Ibn Miskawayh is one of the Islamic philosophers who focused on the study of ethics. In his Tahdheeb al-Akhlaqhe reflects on the concept of ethics systematically using Greek philosophy and combine it with the Quran and hadith.Although compared to the concept of ethics of Immanuel Kants deontology, ethics Ibn Miskawayh not apply well tothe rule of law. However, the severity of the effort is a big contribution on the development of ethical discourse thatconnects rational ethics and ethical revelation.

Ibn Bajjah, the first Muslim philosopher in the Western world, who had given a wide influence both to his own Islamic philosophy and many Christian Western thinkers, was a controversial figure. His thoughts besides opening the gate of independent philosophy without the interests of religious polemic also contained puzzles and images of pessimism. His work Tadbir al-Mutawahhid clearly illustrates the impossibility of the formation of al-Farabi's ideal city, also presupposes the impossibility that even divine intellectual perfection cannot change the social conditions of a damaged city. On the other hand, those who have been enlightened with their connection with the Active Intellect (al-qaql al-fa'al) through solitude actually show a passive and pessimistic attitude that looks down on the material world so that the happiness they get is merely personal happiness. This kind of attitude, even though born from universal forms of spirituality, has a resemblance to Schopenhauer's philosophical view which is pessimistic and considers the world and the will of life as obstacles to happiness. But on the other hand, the philosophy of Ibn Bajjah also shows a ladder of psychological maturation, as is the ladder of existence in Kierkegaard's philosophy, where the result is a condition of spirituality that is of the divine value.

Borrowing the definition used by Binyamin Abrahamov for discussion of theology: Rationality is treating any issues by using reason, but whitout giving priority reason. Thus, if it is associated with the interpretation means interpreting the Qur'an by using reasoning or ijtihad, but without making it as the main point. The use of reason in addition to a history that is valid in the interpretation of the Qur'an is a necessity. This is caused by the editors who sometimes use the Qur'an itself ambiguous pronunciation (musytarak / ambiguous) meaning there is even the opposite, or use a word with a specific meaning. However, the interpretation of rationality is limited in scope to understand the meaning or spelling or sentence structure verses (read: the discourse of) the Qur'an. Not including the use of analogy in legal dig no texts or texts in the Qur'an.

Civic Values dewasa ini telah menggejala di berbagai negara suatu cita-cita sosialyang dikemas dalam bentuk pendidikan kewargaan atau civic education yang memilikiarti yang sangat penting dan strategis bagi kelangsungan kehidupan berbangsa danbernegara. Jika dianalisis dari paradigma kultur mana kedua masyarakat itu lahirdan tumbuh, perbedaan asasiah antara Masyarakat Madani dan civil society akantampak. Jika kembali kepada kultur para filosof sosial Barat abad ketujuh belas dimana wacana civil society itu mulai digulirkan, maka civil society di Barat lahirsebagai buah modernitas yang mengambil akarnya pada gerakan budaya Renaissance.Budaya ini merupakan gerakan yang memarginalkan gagasan tentang Tuhan.Buah masyarakat dari gerakan budaya semacam ini adalah masyarakat sekuler,yang menurut Clavel, di dalamnya posisi Tuhan telah menjadi gagasan yang tertindassejak lebih dari tiga abad yang lalu.
