Abstract

Scientific approach in the learning process is a feature that is becoming its own power from the existence of Curriculum 2013. The scientific approach is believed to be the golden bridge the growth and the development of attitudes, knowledge, and skills of learners. It is certainly not s impossible, because the learning itself is a scientific process (science). Scientific method refers to the technique of investigation into a phenomenon or symptoms, acquiring new knowledge, and then corrected by integrating previous knowledge. Scientific approach emphasizes on the involvement of learners in learning more intensively, creatively, and independently. In this approach, the success would look if learners are able to do some scientific measures ranging from observing, aski, reasoning, trying, and communicating. All these steps are unity and interlocking. Curriculum 2013 is also implementing an integrated thematic learning. In the Indonesian subjects were used for driving knowledge, integrated a variety of other subjects by using a specific theme. In this curriculum, the scientific approach is applied in all subjects, not least on the teaching of language and literature. Then, how the integration of literature on language learning in the curriculum in 2013 through a scientific approach this? Through descriptive method, the goal of this paper is to obtain an overview of integrating literature in the language learning in  curriculum in 2013 through a scientific approach. By observing at the Indonesian textbooks promoted by the Agency for Development and Language Development for classes VII and X,  it can be concluded that an integration of teaching literature in language learning, and vice versa can be started with literary learning through the application of scientific approach. However, in order to optimize learning lessons of Indonesian literature, teachers need to be careful and creative.  Pendekatan ilmiah dalam proses pembelajaran merupakan satu ciri yang menjadi kekuatan tersendiri dari keberadaan Kurikulum 2013. Pendekatan ilmiah diyakini sebagai titian emas perkembangan dan pengembangan sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan peserta didik. Hal ini tentu saja bukan sesuatu yang mustahil, sebab pembelajaran itu sendiri adalah sebuah proses ilmiah (keilmuan). Metode ilmiah merujuk pada teknik investigasi atas suatu fenomena atau gejala, memeroleh pengetahuan baru, kemudian mengoreksi dengan memadukan pengetahuan sebelumnya. Pendekatan ilmiah menekankan pada keterlibatan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran secara lebih intens, kreatif, dan mandiri. Dalam pendekatan ini, keberhasilan akan tampak jika peserta didik mampu melakukan beberapa langkah ilmiah mulai dari mengamati, menanya, menalar, mencoba, dan mengomunikasikan. Semua langkah ini merupaan satu kesatuan dan saling mengait. Kurikulum 2013 ini juga menerapkan pembelajaran tematik terpadu. Pada mata pelajaranbahasa Indonesia yang dijadikan penghela pengetahuan, diintegrasikan berbagai mata pelajaran lainnya dengan menggunakan tema tertentu. Pada kurikulum ini, pendekatan ilmiah diterapkan dalam semua mata pelajaran, tidak terkecuali pada pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra. Lalu, bagaimana pengintegrasian sastra pada pembelajaran bahasa dalam Kurikulum 2013 melalui pendekatan ilmiah ini? Melalui metode deskriptif, yang menjadi tujuan penulisan ini adalah memeroleh gambaran pengintegrasian sastra pada pembelajaran bahasa dalam Kurikulum 2013 melalui pendekatan ilmiah. Dengan melihat buku pelajaran bahasa Indonesia yang diusung oleh Badan Pengembangan dan Pembinaan Bahasa untuk kelas VII dan X dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi pengintegrasian pembelajaran sastra ke dalam pembelajaran bahasa, dan juga sebaliknya, pembelajaran bahasa bisa dimulai dengan pembelajaran sastra melalui penerapan pendekatan ilmiah. Akan tetapi, untuk mengoptimalkan pembelajaran sastra dalammata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia, dibutuhkan guru yang cermat dan kreatif.

Abstract

This study discusses the source of inspiration in forming kias of pasambahan in the marriage ceremony in Luhak, district of Limapuluhkota. The Minangkabau have a variety of ideas sourced from their everyday lives to make kias in the pasambahan. Inspiration to make kias taken from various of flora, fauna, tools, and objects that are used in a variety of everyday activities. The sources of inspiration in forming Kias of pasambahan are classified and analyzed by using the qualitative method. Based on the analysis that was conducted on data, 10 the source of inspiration in forming kias of pasambahan are obtained, that is 1) kias by using plants, 2) kias by using animals, 3) kias by using food and drink, 4) kias by using activities, 5) kias by using natural events, 6) kias by using clothes and jewelry, 7) kias by using profession, 8) kias by using kitchen tools, 9) kias by using fishing equipment, and 10) kias by using the concept of religion.

Abstract

This article discusses the discourse of madness in the novel Kalatidha Seno Gumira Ajidarna. This research focused on how the construction of the discourse of madness in the text of the novel Kalatidha and how the discourse of madness in the novel destabilize the dominant thinking about the madness.. The analysis showed that the construction of the discourse of madness in the novel Kalatidha not based totally on the structure of a particular paradigm, be it in the framework of the modern paradigm and post-structural paradigm. Discourse of madness in the novel Kalatidha reveals a number of ironies and contradictions within the dominant discourse of madness, so that any construction of meaning in the text looked intact and stable.

Abstract

The problem in this research, titled “Cerita Rakyat Kampar ‘Si Lancang’: Analisis Fungsi Pelaku” is about analysis offender. The purpose of this study was to document folklore Kampar “Si Lancang”, and describes, reveals the function of the actors in folklore Kampar Si Lancang”. The theory used Propp's theory about the functions of the perpetrators. This is a qualitative study using literature. The primary data bersumberkan Kampar folklore entitled “Si Lancang” issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture, Jakarta, 1982. The conclusion of the research is in the folklore that there are seven functions of the perpetrators.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the fact that literature as the imaginative works that in their use of language could get the loanwords of the local language or the foreign language. The author of the story was free to express through words. This research was a review of the novel Lelaki Pembawa Kain Kafan by Griven H. Putra, one of the writers in Riau Province. This study aimed to describe the elements of loanwords of the local language and the foreign language loandwords that were mentioned in the novel and grouping them based on the level of integration. Based on the analysis, it was obtained that novel loan the vocabularies of some languages namely Malay of Rantaubaru (Pelalawan, Riau), Javanese language, English, and Arabic. There were two groupings based on the level of integration in the novel. The results indicate that we were suggested to maintain and preserve the literary work.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan konjungsi yang sering digunakan oleh siswa kelas V SD di Kota Pekanbaru dalam menulis wacana pembelajaran literasi. Penggunaan konjungsi yang dilihat adalah frekuensi kemunculan serta ketepatan penggunaannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analitis. Data penelitian berupa 50 karangan siswa tentang penceritaan ulang dari 5 cerita rakyat yang dibacakan pada kegiatan Sastranesia. Judul cerita rakyat yang digunakan tersebut adalah “Mutiara dari Indragiri Hilir”, “Buah Ajaib”, “Kampung Tarondam”, “Si Bungsu Anak Durhaka”, dan “Kain Sindai”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 15 konjungsi yang digunakan dalam 2.140 kali penggunaan dengan 650 konjungsi koordinatif dan 1.470 subordintif. Frekuensi kemunculan konjungsi yang paling tinggi ditemukan pada jenis konjungsi yang menyatakan makna urutan, penambahan, dan waktu. Dalam karangan tersebut ditemukan 24 kesalahan pemakaian konjungsi. Kesalahan terdapat pada pemakaian konjungsi yang sebanyak 11 kesalahan; konjungsi dan sebanyak 5 kesalahan; konjungsi tapi/tetapi sebanyak 4 kesalahan; dan konjungsi kemudian sebanyak 4 kesalahan. Kesalahan pemakaian konjungsi tersebut pada umumnya tidak sesuai dengan kaidah bahasa Indonesia. Selain itu, ditemukan pula sebagian besar hasil karangan siswa terdiri atas klausa dan kalimat tunggal. Hal ini disebabkan oleh terbatasnya kemampuan siswa dalam menulis.

Abstract

Kajian terhadap sastra lisan Pakpak Lae Angkat di Tanah Mungkur, bertujuan untuk menjawab permasalahan tentang bagaimana sastra berkontribusi terhadap pelestarian dan keseimbangan lingkungan sekaligus menggambarkan hubungan manusia dengan lingkungan. Dari cerita rakyat tersebut diperoleh data yang berhubungan dengan masalah lingkungan. Selanjutnya, data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan metode deskriftif kualitatif berdasarkan  teori ekokritik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bagaimana hubungan manusia dengan hutan, air sebagai sumber kehidupan, dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan.

Abstract

"Nio" is a short story of Putu Wijaya. It displays human selfdefense mechanisms in family room. This study aims to describe the forms of those mechanisms. Each character in "Nio" protects himself in different ways. This stufy uses descriptive analytical method and theory of literature psychology. It can be concluded that humans in "Nio" deal with conflicts by demands for an increase in socio-economic status in the family room. Humans try to move out of low socio-economic status using various forms of self-defense mechanisms, like repression, projection, aggression, regression of retrogressive behavior, and direct aggression. The forms of mechanisms show various human natures of individuals.  Cerpen “Nio” karya Putu Wijaya menampilkan mekanisme pertahanan diri yang dilakukan manusia dalam ruang keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan bentuk-bentuk mekanisme pertahanan diri yang dilakukan manusia dalam “Nio” tersebut. Masalah dalam penelitan ini adalah bagaimana bentuk-bentuk mekanisme pertahanan diri manusia dalam “Nio” karya Putu Wijaya. Tokoh-tokoh dalam “Nio’ masingmasing mempertahanankan diri dengan cara yang berbedabeda. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analitik. Sementara itu, untuk menganalisis cerpen tersebut digunakan teori psikologi sastra. Dari hasil pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa manusia dalam “Nio” mengalami konflik yang disebabkan oleh tuntutan kenaikan status sosial ekonomi yang digunakan dalam upaya mempertahankan diri adalah represi, proyeksi, agresi, regresi retrogressive behavior, dan agresi langsung. Bentuk-bentuk mekanisme tersebut menunjukkan berbagai sifat kemanusiaan individu.

Abstract

This study uses psychoanalysis concept, there is a tendency of neurotic anxiety in the main characters in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, a novel by Roald Dahl. This study finds the character’s personality, Willy Wonka as main character becomes neurotic anxiety who influenced by the three systems of personality, they are Id, Ego, and Superego. The purpose of this study is to determine what aspects that make Willy Wonka has neurotic anxiety and his effort to relieve it. The result of this study is Willy Wonka feels anxiety, nervous and panic as a result of traumatic experience before. So, Willy Wonka deliberately makes a competition as form of reason for his self-defense mechanism to think of finding the best way to reduce his anxiety for a while. This study is expected to contribute to the understanding of the human mind and significance object between literature and the psychological condition.
