<![CDATA[The purpose to be achieved in this study is to improve student learning outcomes in PKn lessons in class VII.8 students of SMP Negeri 16 Palembang by using a cooperative model type Think Pair Share (TPS). So the problem in this research is how to increase the learning outcomes of students in class VII.8 of SMP Negeri 16 Palembang through a Think Pair Share learning model? Based on the results of the research stated in the previous chapter, the conclusions that can be taken in this study are the cooperative learning type Think Pair Share (TPS) model which has a positive impact on improving PKn learning outcomes of students in class VII.8 Palembang State Middle School 18 increased learning completeness of students in each cycle, namely pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II respectively 46.15%, 69.23% and 88.46%. The application of the cooperative learning model of the Think Pair Share (TPS) type has a positive influence, which can improve student learning outcomes as indicated by the average answers of students who state that students are interested and interested in the cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share (TPS) so they become motivated to learn.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this action research was to know the increase in student learning outcomes after the implementation of the STAD type cooperative learning model, this study uses action research as many as three rounds. Each round consists of four stages, namely: design, activity and observation, reflexive, and refining. The method used in this study is the STAD type cooperative learning model. The target of this study is class VIII.5 Prabumulih 3 Public Middle School. The data obtained in the form of the final cycle test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analysis it was found that student learning outcomes increased from cycle I to cycle III, namely, cycle I (56.00%), cycle II (80.00%), cycle III (92.00%). The conclusion of this study is that the STAD type cooperative learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class VIII.5 of SMP Negeri 3 Prabumulih, and this learning model can be used as an alternative to learning civic education]]>

<![CDATA[This journal explains how the creativity of teachers in remote villages in SDN 25 Pulau Rimau in 1. carrying out tasks 2. providing motivation 3. teachers who are competent 4. building cooperative relationships internally and externally. This study used a qualitative approach with the types of cases in several teachers in 25 Rimau Islands Banyuasin District. The research subjects were: school principals, teachers, and parents of students [school committee]. The data collection uses observation and interviews. This study found the implementation of teacher teachers in 1. how a teacher has a role in carrying out his duties 2. can motivate participants students in accepting lessons by giving encouragement 3. can become teachers who have competence by using basic capital of a professional teacher 4. can work together both internally and externally to be built through relationships with students, with superiors, with fellow teachers, with the surrounding environment.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of school principal supervision on teacher performance. This study used a survey method with a research population of principals and teachers at SDN 2 Gelumbang, Gelumbang District, Muara Enim Regency. The method used is the survey method. Data collection techniques using questionnaires with Likert scale and Proportional Random Sampling techniques. Processing data using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression to find out the effect together. The results showed that the supervision of principals had a positive effect on teacher performance at SDN 2 Gelumbang, Gelumbang District, Muara Enim Regency.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was conducted based on learning outcomes of English of students class IX are always bad. Every time,they always seem boring and unable to answer the question, so the classroom becomes noisy. This study aims to: (1) find theproblem and find a solution so that the learning process fun and not boring for students, (2) improving the learning outcomes ofstudents of class IX 1 in English Learning aspect reading comprehension. This research was conducted at the Junior High School 43 palembang in October 2011 until Januari 2012. This study used action research method in 2 cycles and each cycle consisted of 3meetings. The instrument used in this method was: a written test to determine the ability of reading comprehension,observation sheets, field notes. The results of this study showed that in the fisrt cycle the average percentage of students who have completed 84,21%, the second cycles of the average percentage of students who have completed 97,38%.This was in accordance with pre-determined indicators of success namely the success percentage of average of at least 75%. The conclution of this research that the ability of reading comprehension using Cooperative Learning Method Talking Stick Type in class IX 1 SMP Negeri 43 Palembang. can improve student’s ability in reading comprehension.]]>

<![CDATA[Character Education has become a hot topic today. Character Education has been transformed into something that is considered urgent in the millennial era. The government has realized that the younger generation is a valuable asset that will fill and determine the progress of the nation, so that it needs to be safeguarded and developed in accordance with the goals of the nation's education. Starting from that, this study aims to provide an overview of Character Education for the younger generation in the globalization and digital era today. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with a method of observing data from existing facts and documents. As a result, it was concluded that in the current era of globalization / digital character education is very important as an effort to shape the character of a generation of people who are not only skilled and intelligent, but also noble. Despite facing various problems in the implementation process, but with the collaboration of various parties, the hope of forming intelligent Indonesian people and character in accordance with the Pancasila and religious values can be realized.]]>

<![CDATA[The development of the world at this time has changed the era of industrial revolution 4.0, human life forms have shaped information. Therefore, in preparation that is supported and able to compete globally, as well as regulating the development of technology is very important for all people and for the future of the nation and state. Therefore digital literacy needs to be developed in the world of education today to build a better national character and be better prepared for the 21st century education era. This article aims to learn how to build the character of students as students from elementary school to digital secondary school through Digital Literacy (Digital-Age Literacy) in learning for education with 21st Century education. Education with this literal digital dimension can develop digital literacy learning materials and methods in schools and outside schools, in relation to the 21st century education era (Industrial Revolution 4.0). This study uses a Qualitative Descriptive method with a scientific background, the aim of which is to describe the phenomena that occur in the current environment, data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the leadership characteristics of principals in improving teacher performance. This research was conducted using inductive qualitative methods. Data collection is done by interview, observation, documentation study, and study of research results. The results of this study indicate that the leadership characteristics of principals who can improve teacher performance include 1) educational staff capacity building programs through training, workshops, seminars and Subject Matter Teacher Discussion (SMTD); 2) the ability of the principal to carry out the process of control, guidance and supervision; 3) giving motivation; 4) good communication; and 5) democratic leadership style.]]>

The changes are very quick, fundamental with mess up the pattern of old arrangement to create the new arrangement. Disrupsi initiated the birth of a new business model with a strategy more innovative and disruptive. The scope of the changes ranging from the business world,banking, transportation, social community, until education. This area will demand us to changes and follow the development of the times. The purpose of this research to find out how the headmaster in the disruption era. This research used qualitative approach with the collecting data technique is observation interview and documentation. The research result showed that many aspect contribution toward the quality of education one of basic is ability from each headmaster in bring out management at school who he leads in planning, organizing, mobilization, and monitoring activity so that all of scholl substance held good. The leadership of headmaster is very important in manage an institution. Because of that headmaster must develop his self and able to implement fuctions of management and leadership.]]>
