Abstract

The objectives of this community partnership (PKM) program are; a) To form Teacher Working Group (KKG); b) to improve teachers knowledge and skill about making instructional media with applied science and technology approach; c) to train the making of instructional media with applied science and technology approach; d) to train and assist the use of instructional media in the classroom. The method of adopting the action research implementation includes four stages: program planning, program implementation, observation and evaluation, and reflection. The results of program implementation are; a) 7 teacher working groups with 4 to 9 members formed based on the location of the area; b) the increased knowledge and skills of teachers on the making of instructional media with applied science and technology approach, from the enough to the good category; c) generated media (props) for elementary students; d) teachers ability to use instructional media in goodquality category.

Abstract

This research aims to determine effect of using Role Playing method on increasing motivation to learn the concept of chemical bonds. This research the teacher expected to obtain the right learning method to improve the quality of learning in Class X of MIPA-1 at National SHS 1 Muara Padang, especially in material of Chemical Bonds. With the Role Playing method, students motivation and understanding are supposed to increase and their learning outcomes also increase. Using a class action research model from Kurt Lewin and Kemis & McTagart are carried out in two cycle. The results showed that of the 30 students, when the teacher used the lecture method the results of the evaluation were only 24% that reached the KKM score (65), the first cycle of student learning evaluation results increased to 46% and in the second cycle the results of student evaluations reached 80% who achieved the KKM score and students were more enthusiastic about learning. So, it can be concluded that the Role Playing method can improve students motivation.

Abstract

Abstract— Children are unique individuals with the development of extraordinary linguistic abilities. Children need guidance, support and positive stimulus from parents, educators, and the environment, including early childhood. The characteristics of each child are different, including with adults in terms of the learning process. The most enjoyable learning process for young children is playing, through playing children can learn and get new lessons, as well as learn to socialize with their peers. To communicate children need language, by speaking as a medium for delivery. One of the tasks of child development is to develop language skills, including honing their verbal linguistic intelligence. Development of children's verbal linguistic intelligence must be fostered from an early age. One means to help develop verbal linguistic intelligence is word play. The Word Tree Game is an educational tool in comprehensively honing, guiding, and directing the development of children's verbal linguistic intelligence. The Word Tree Game not only bridges children to hone linguistic verbal intelligence, but also (1) fosters the courage of children to speak, (2) practice their listening skills, (3) fosters mutual respect for peers, (4) creates physical attachment between children and educators or parents, (5) sharpening the ability to think and make decisions.Keywords—verbal linguistic, Words Tree, children games Abstrak— Anak adalah individu unik dengan perkembangan kemampuan linguistik yang luar biasa. Anak memerlukan bimbingan, dukungan dan stimulus yang positif dari orang tua, pendidik, dan lingkungannya termasuk anak usia dini. Karakteristik setiap anak berbeda-beda, termasuk dengan orang dewasa dalam hal proses belajar. Proses belajar yang paling menyenangkan bagi anak usia dini adalah bermain, melalui bermain anak dapat mengetahui dan memperoleh pelajaran baru, sekaligus belajar bersosialisasi dengan sebayanya. Untuk melakukan komunikasi anak memerlukan bahasa, dengan berbicara sebagai medium penyampaiannya. Salah satu tugas perkembangan anak adalah mengembangkan kemampuan berbahasa, termasuk mengasah kecerdasan verbal linguistiknya. Pengembangan kecerdasan verbal linguistik anak harus dibina sejak usia dini. Salah satu sarana untuk membantu mengembangkan kecerdasan verbal linguistik adalah adalah permainan kata. Permainan “Pohon Kata” merupakan sarana edukatif dalam mengasah, membimbing, dan mengarahkan perkembangan kecerdasan verbal linguistik anak secara komprehensif. Permainan “Pohon Kata” tidak hanya menjembatani anak untuk mengasah kecerdasan verbal lingusitik, tetapi juga (1) memupuk keberanian anak untuk berbicara, (2) melatih keterampilan menyimak anak, (3) menumbuhkan sikap saling menghargai sesama teman sebaya, (4) menciptakan keterdekatan fisik antar anak dan pendidik atau orang tua, (5) mengasah kemampuan berpikir dan membuat keputusan.   Kata kunci— linguistik verbal, “Pohon Kata”, permainan anak-anak

Abstract

This study aims to 1) increase the attention and involvement of fourth class students in science learning through the use of natural teaching aids; 2) Generating student motivation so that the teaching and learning process in science lessons will be more meaningful and passionate 3) Focus students' attention on the material being taught; 4) familiarize self-learning and find their own learning goals through observation of the surrounding environment. 5. Increase understanding of science subject matter. This research is a qualitative research. The research approach used is a case study. This study conducted a study by reviewing and describing the process of collecting and extracting data using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use qualitative data analysis techniques, using interactive analysis models. The results of this study are 1) for teachers that can develop their knowledge and skills and generate self-confidence so that they will always be passionate and eager to improve their learning continuously; 2) For students that can increase understanding in absorbing the material being studied so that the learning process and results will also increase too; 3) For schools, it is useful to assist schools in developing and creating quality education institutions that will be a model or model for schools, while teachers who are experienced professionals will be born and become the trust of parents and the government.

Abstract

This research was conducted qualitatively-descriptive which aims to describe the religious and discipline character of the students of grade 1 in Elementary School 127 Palembang. The data were collected using observation, questionnaire, and documentation. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, conclusion, and data verification. At this data reduction stage, the researcher used data triangulation from data observation, questionnaire, and documentation which is then displayed in the data view. From triangulation it was found that the religious and discipline character of the first grade students in SDN 127 Palembang has emerged as much as 80%. Thus it is concluded that students in class 1 SDN 127 Palembang has had the character of religious and discipline

Digital book can be one solution to fostering a culture of literacy in the world of education in particular, and Indonesia society in general. Abstract

This research is aimed to evaluate educational literacy programs in high school health Tri Bhakti At-Taqwa. This type of research is qualitative descrptive. The main sourceof this research is the principal, teachers and students by using collecting data through interview, observation and documentation. The legitimate of the research datais using source and technique triangulation. The data is interatively analized which content of data collection, data reduction, serving data, concluding and verification. The writer caninfer that 1) literacy Program in high school health Tri Bhakti At-Taqwa play sarolein motivating students to love reading and writing, 2) the school obstac lesto improve reading and writing interest using literation activityare discipline, student’shabit, student’s interest,and the method applied by the teacher,and, 3) the school effortto improve the students reading and writing interest through literation activityis that theschool always gives literation activity socialization and motivation regarding the impotance of reading and writing.

Abstract

Abstract– This study aims to see the influence of mother tongue on cognitive ability of early childhood. The research method used in this research is true experimental design with posttest-only contol group design. This research was conducted at Group B KB Terpadu Sehati of Kalibening Village, Tugumulyo District, Musi Rawas Regency with 37 samples. Group B2 as an experimental group using the mother tongue as the language of instruction in learning activities and Group B1 as a control group using Bahasa Indonesia as a penagntar language in the learning activities. The data collection technique is done by observation technique to see the cognitive ability of the child on the scope of logical thinking development with the level of attainment of placing objects in order of size. Data of cognitive abilities of children obtained were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistics. Hypothesis testing is done by t-test at significance level α = 0,05. From the test results obtained tcount = 4.15 and ttable = 2.04. Thus tcount > ttable, which means H0 is rejected and H1 accepted. The conclusion obtained is that there is influence of mother tongue on cognitive ability of children in Group B KB Terpadu Sehati of Kalibening Village Year 2018. Keywords– Mother Language, Cognitive Ability, Early Childhood Abstrak– Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat adanya pengaruh bahasa ibu terhadap kemampuan kognitif anak usia dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah true experimental design dengan  rancangan posttest-only contol group design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Kelompok B KB Terpadu Sehati Desa Kalibening Kecamatan Tugumulyo Kabupaten Musi Rawas dengan jumlah sampel 37 anak. Kelompok B2 sebagai kelompok eksperimen menggunakan bahasa ibu sebagai bahasa pengantar dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dan Kelompok B1 sebagai kelompok kontrol menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia sebagai bahasa penagntar dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi untuk melihat kemampuan kognitif anak pada lingkup perkembangan berpikir logis dengan tingkat pencapaian menempatkan benda dalam urutan ukuran. Data kemampuan kognitif anak yang diperoleh dianalisi dengan  teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji-t pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05. Dari hasil pengujian yang dilakukan diperoleh thitung = 4,15 dan ttabel = 2,04. Dengan demikian thitung > ttabel, yang berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah terdapat pengaruh bahasa ibu terhadap kemampuan kognitif anak pada Kelompok B KB Terpadu Sehati Desa Kalibening Tahun 2018. Kata Kunci–  Bahasa Ibu, Kemampuan Kognitif, Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Abstrak— This research was conducted with the aim of assisting teachers in carrying out classroom action research in virtual learning economi. Some of the obstacles experienced by economi teachers in delivering material to students include the educational background of participants who come from outside the department of pure economi or the department of economi education, so they are less able to provide subject matter properly. The method used in this study is the method of implementing this activity by means of Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and continued with the practice of Virtual Learning and CAR. There were 15 economi teacher participants from several schools. The results of this activity in the form of (a) mapping the topic of high school sociology material, (b) increasing the basic knowledge of teachers one of which gives insight into material knowledge, methods and models of economi learning, gives insight into material knowledge of virtual learning skills (learning houses), gives insight into material knowledge classroom action research, (c) the practice of introducing the basic use of virtual learning media "home learning", (d) the simple practice of making a PTK proposal, (e) a follow-up plan (f) making a PTK report. Keywords— Classroom Action Research, Virtual Learning Economi Abstract—  Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk membantu guru dalam melaksanakan penelitian tindakan kelas virtual learning economi. Beberapa kendala yang dialami oleh guru ekonomi dalam menyampaikan materi kepada peserta didik diantaranya yaitu latar belakang pendidikan peserta yang berasal dari luar jurusan ekonomi murni ataupun jurusan pendidikan ekonomi, sehingga kurang mampu memberikan materi pelajaran dengan baik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dengan cara Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan dilanjutkan dengan praktik Virtual Learning dan PTK. Peserta kegiatan berjumlah 15 orang guru ekonomi yang berasal dari beberapa sekolah. Hasil dari kegiatan ini berupa (a) pemetaan topik materi ekonomi SMK, (b)peningkatan pengetahuan dasar guru salah satunya memberi wawasan pengetahuan materi, metode dan model pembelajaran ekonomi, memberi wawasan pengetahuan materi keterampilan virtual learning (rumah belajar), memberi wawasan pengetahuan materi penelitian tindakan kelas, (c) praktik pengenalan dasar penggunaan media belajar virtual learning “ rumah belajar”, (d) praktik sederhana pembuatan proposal PTK, (e)rencana tindak lanjut, (f) pembuatan laporan PTK. Kata Kunci— Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, Virtual Learning Economi
