Abstract

Narrative writing skills through technical storytelling drawings of class VIIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Semendo Darat Laut Muara Enim Regency. This study aims to find out and describe narrative writing skills through the technique of storytelling images of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Semendo Darat Laut. The population of this study were all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Semendo Darat Laut in Muara Enim Regency in the academic year 2016-2017 with 123 students with a sample of 28 students. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The technique of analyzing data collection is done through test techniques and interview techniques.Based on the results of the data analysis of the narrative writing skills test, it is known that by using the storytelling technique the students become easier to frame the essay and determine the contents of each paragraph, this is evident from 28 sample people, only 1 person who did not pass and get good and complete scores. The Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) set by the school with an average student score of 76.10 (good enough). From the results of interviews with Indonesian language teachers, it is known that by using a storytelling technique students' motivation in learning also affects writing skills, especially writing narratives.

Abstract

The teacher's role and teacher's duties as one of the determinant factors for the success of education, especially in facing education in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. The existence and improvement of teacher professionalism is a very important discourse. Education in the industrial revolution era 4.0 demands a good and professional management of education. Professional teachers emphasize the ability of teachers to transfer knowledge, the ability of teachers to design strategies, and the ability of teachers to implement their learning.

Abstract

This study aims to know the influence of interactive physics-based multimedia learning media using Adobe Flash CS3 Professional software on the results of students' study of class X in SMA PGRI Pangkalan Kersik Tungkal Jaya. Variable of research is dependent variable that is result of student learning and independent variable that is learning media physics based on interactive multimedia using Adobe Flash CS3 Professional software. The population in this study is all students of class X MIA in SMA PGRI Pangkalan Kersik Tungkal Jaya which amounted to 104 students. The sample in this study was taken by random sampling technique with the number of samples of 70 students divided into two classes namely class X MIA 2 as an experimental class who received learning treatment using interactive multimedia with the number of 35 students and students of class X MIA 1 as a control class treated conventional approach with 35 students. Techniques of collecting data using tests and documentation. The analytical technique used in this study is the right-t test. The result of calculation of data analysis obtained the average value of experimental class 77,56 and the average value of control class 67,90, with significant level of α = 0,05 got ttable that is 1,697 and tcal is 4.59. Based on the results of data calculations, it can be concluded that there is the influence of interactive physics-based multimedia learning media using Adobe Flash CS3 Professional software on the results of students' study of class X in SMA PGRI Pangkalan Kersik Tungkal Jaya..

Abstract

Abstract— At present the world is preparing to leave the era of society 4.0, the era of information technology towards society 5.0. Society 5.0 is a society who utilizes technological innovations in the industrial revolution 4.0 era to help human life become more meaningful, especially in the field of education. This study aims to determine the magnitude of the principal's leadership role in preparing the school where he leads to meet the society 5.0. The research method used is a literature review related to the principal's leadership to meet the society 5.0. The literature is explored in depth and discussed again in two sub-sections. The first examines the principal's leadership, and the second discusses the era of society 5.0. Based on this study the results obtained indicate that the leadership of the school principal is one importSant aspect in improving the quality of human resources to meet the society 5.0. The principal is someone who can encourage, mobilize, and motivate teachers to make changes in learning in their classrooms. So that students or outputs at the school are ready to welcome the era of society 5.0. Keywords— Society 5.0, leadership, principal Abstrak— Saat ini dunia sedang bersiap-siap meninggalkan era society (masyarakat) 4.0 yaitu era teknologi informasi menuju masyarakat 5.0. Masyarakat 5.0 adalah masyarakat yang memanfaatkan inovasi teknologi di era revolusi industri 4.0 untuk membantu hidup manusia menjadi lebih bermakna, terutama di bidang pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam menyiapkan sekolah yang dipimpinnya untuk menyongsong masyarakat 5.0. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan kajian literatur terkait kepemimpinan kepala sekolah untuk menyongsong masyarakat 5.0. Literatur tersebut dikupas secara mendalam dan dibahas kembali dalam dua sub bahasan, yaitu pertama mengkaji tentang kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, dan yang kedua membahas era society 5.0. Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut diperoleh hasil yang menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia untuk menyongsong masyarakat 5.0. Kepala sekolah merupakan seseorang yang dapat mendorong, menggerakkan, dan memotivasi guru untuk melakukan perubahan dalam pembelajaran di kelasnya. Sehingga siswa atau output di sekolah tersebut siap menyongsong era masyarakat 5.0.  Kata Kunci : Masyarakat 5.0, Kepemimpinan, Kepala sekolah

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to see the implementation of the existing materials in integrated IPS learning at SMP Utama Bakti Palembang. The method used is qualitative research with phenomenology design. The results obtained from the research that has been done is integrated IPS subject teachers have done a good stage in the framework of optimizing character education in the learning process. This is evidenced by the planning stages of learning devices that have analyzed each value or character in the learning process, ranging from SK, KD, to RPP and learning materials. So even in the implementation of learning that has been achieved, religion, honesty, responsibility, discipline, and communicative. Implementation of character education is also supported by the school culture that to improve the exemplary starting from the tidiness of dress, the time discipline tells about the customs of the ceremony and before learning.

Abstract

Remote Area Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Learning, Post Graduate Student Education Management Study Program, University of PGRI Palembang. This paper aims to describe the benefits of Information and Communication Technology-Based Learning in explaining the concept of learning, so that the delivery of information, in the teaching and learning process is more detailed, so that it is expected to help the process of understanding the material delivered more maximally and pleasantly. The purpose of Information and Communication Technology, as a solution to, develops the creativity of both educators and students. Information and communication technology-based learning is an effort to utilize the progress of Information and Communication Technology for the learning process, and functions as a tool not as the main subject, so that technology can help humans, in solving various problems in the real world, which is currently the foundation of the workforce, so that students have basic knowledge as the main capital to enter the workforce.

Abstract

Abstract--- Problems encountered in the process of learning mathematics is that students have not been actively involved in the learning process and cause students to be passive because only teachers who are active therefore students only accept without them giving an opinion. The purpose of this research is to know how to learn the prism material using Kolb-Knisley's mathematical learning model. Kolb-Knisley learning model is a learning model developed by a person named Jeff Knisley which is based on Kolb model which Knisley assumes that this learning model happens to train students to be active because the learning process occurs turn of activeness between teachers and students. This model has four learning stages: Kongkrit-Reflective, Concrete-Active, Abstract-Active, And Reflective Abstract. Which happens change of activity between teacher and student so that learning will run well. Keywords: Kolb-Knisley's mathematical learning model. Abstrak--- Permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam proses pembelajaran matematika adalah siswa belum terlibat aktif dalam proses pembelajaran dan menyebabkan siswa menjadi pasif karena hanya guru yang bersifat aktif oleh karena itu siswa hanya menerima tanpa mereka memberikan pendapat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana belajar materi prisma menggunakan model pembelajaran matematika Kolb-Knisley. Model pembelajaran Kolb-Knisley merupakan model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan seseorang bernama Jeff Knisley yang didasari dari model Kolb yang mana Knisley beranggapan bahwa model pembelajaran ini terjadi melatih siswa menjadi aktif karena proses pembelajaran terjadi pergantian keaktifan antra guru dan siswa. Model ini memiliki empat tahap pembelajaran yaitu: Kongkrit-Reflektif, Konkrit-Aktif, Abstrak-Aktif, Dan Abstrak Reflektif. Yang mana terjadi pergantian keaktifan antara guru dan siswa sehingga pembelajaran akan berjalan dengan baik. Kata Kunci : Model pembelajaran matematika Kolb-Knisley.

Abstract

Abstract— Leadership principals play an important role in improving the quality of schools, especially in addressing the globalization era ASEAN Economic Community. Leadership exercised in order to be effective, a school principal needs to understand how to be effective principals. In addition, to increase its capacity as a leader then the principal should have competence to support the professional performance. Efforts to improve the quality of schools needs to be done by the principal in order to improve competitiveness with other schools and meet the demands of society at large.Keywords— School Leadership, School Quality, of Society 5.0  Abstrak— Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah memegang peranan penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas sekolah, terutama dalam menyikapi globalisasi era Masyarakat 5.0. Agar kepemimpinan yang dilakukan dapat berjalan efektif, seorang kepala sekolah perlu memahami bagaimana menjadi kepala sekolah yang efektif. Disamping itu, untuk meningkatkan kapasitasnya sebagai seorang pemimpin maka kepala sekolah seyogyanya memiliki kompetensi yang dapat menunjang kinerja profesionalnya. Abstract

Education not only serves as a medium to equip learners with knowledge but also, as a container for shaping and developing intelligent self-character. The past 15 years of thuggish action among students has been a problem that awakened the government to accommodate character education in formal education. Behavioral tendencies learners out of the values of Pancasila. Government realize that there must be Mental Revolution (GNRM) to shield them from outside influences that could threaten the Homeland. Strengthening character education of the globalization era gives emphasis on religious values, honesty, love of the homeland, and peace love. In the learning process the character education is integrated in every field of study, applicative, covering the physical aspects of emotion, social, creativity, spiritual intellectual. Implementation through personal verbal and nonverbal approaches in intra-curricular, extracurricular activities in schools.

Abstract

Research has been carried out on the use of Gelam Wood Charcoal as an Adsorbent to Improve the Quality of Woven Dyestuffs in the Center of Industrial Village of Kelurahan Tuan Kentang, Seberang Ulu District 1 Kertapati, Palembang City with a combination treatment of contact time variations of 1 hour to 3 hours and activation time of charcoal with drying in the sun between 2 hours to 4 hours shows a significant effect on the quality of wastewater to be good. Temperatures from 32.3 oC dropped to 29.2 oC. The pH of wastewater from 6.1 to 6.9 is close to neutral pH 7. Soluble solids (TDS) drop from 483 ppm to 417 ppm and dissolved ions (EC) in wastewater drop from 1011 mS to 945.7 mS. Effectiveness of wood charcoal adsorbent in absorbing ions in waste with a combination combination of variations in contact time between 1 hour to 3 hours and activation time of charcoal with drying in the sun between 2 hours to 4 hours shows the optimum value in combination T3A1 ie at contact time 3 hour and 1 hour char activation time.
