Abstract

The course of Citizenship Education has vision, mission, goals and competence in universities is a source of values and guidance in the development and implementation of study programs to deliver students to solidify their personality as a whole Indonesian man and nurture noble humanitarian character. The mission of civic education in college helps students to strengthen their personality to be consistently capable of realizing the basic values of Pancasila, the sense of nationality and love of the homeland throughout life in mastering, applying and developing the science of technology and art that it possesses with a sense of responsibility and firmly hold unity and the unity of the nation and state.

Abstract

Technology development helps people to do many tasks easier, faster and efficient. In mathematics, we obtain many advantages of technology such as software or hardware as media for learning. One of media for mathematics learning is GeoGebra as the technology computer program. GeoGebra is a software which encompasses algebra, geometry, calculus and graphics function as a media to demonstrate, visualize and construct the mathematical concepts. Graphics function is one of topics in mathematics which can be learned through GeoGebra. The 2013 Curriculum has formulated three basic competencies for students which are affective, cognitive and psychomotor. GeoGebra can be used as a media for students developing their psychomotor competency in Graphics Function. GeoGebra can be an alternative to help student studying graphics function with fun, easier and meaningful.

Abstract

Abstract— Learning English through songs is one of the best method that the students focus on the lesson better. Because in a song has the variety new words and phrases with many different themes, so the students can learn some items of vocabulary, rhym of language, and grammatical structures that relating to any topic.The fact that English songs for the students are often easy and simple topic that they like most to learn and the students will learn song by hearing it many times, maybe memorization occurs via repetition. Using songs in teaching English is the great way to teach language for students who can not understand fully all the lyric but they still listen to music and sing follow their teacher or music because they are very interesting. However, the teacher should not forget the main purpose that using songs in teaching English is only the tool in order to aim the students in English classroom. In short, I hope that using songs will be effective way for students to enchance learning English and for teachers should choose suitable songs and create various activities to help students learn actively. Keywords— song, enchance learning Abstrak— Belajar Bahasa Inggris melalui lagu adalah salah satu metode terbaik agar siswa fokus pada pelajaran yang lebih baik. Karena dalam sebuah lagu terdapat variasi kata-kata dan frasa baru dengan banyak tema yang berbeda, sehingga para siswa dapat mempelajari beberapa item kosa kata, rhym bahasa, dan struktur gramatikal yang berkaitan dengan topik apa pun. Fakta bahwa lagu-lagu berbahasa Inggris untuk para siswa seringkali mudah dan topik sederhana yang paling mereka sukai untuk dipelajari dan siswa akan belajar lagu dengan mendengarnya berkali-kali, mungkin hafalan terjadi melalui pengulangan. Menggunakan lagu dalam mengajar bahasa Inggris adalah cara terbaik untuk mengajarkan bahasa bagi siswa yang tidak dapat memahami sepenuhnya semua lirik tetapi mereka masih mendengarkan musik dan bernyanyi mengikuti guru atau musik mereka karena mereka sangat menarik. Namun, guru tidak boleh lupa tujuan utama bahwa menggunakan lagu dalam pengajaran bahasa Inggris hanyalah alat untuk membidik siswa di kelas bahasa Inggris. Singkatnya, saya berharap bahwa menggunakan lagu akan menjadi cara yang efektif bagi siswa untuk meningkatkan belajar bahasa Inggris dan untuk guru harus memilih lagu yang sesuai dan membuat berbagai kegiatan untuk membantu siswa belajar secara aktif.. Kata Kunci— lagu, belajar enchance

Abstract

Abstract— This study aimed to see an increase in students' mathematical problem solving abilities using the Mind Mapping learning model. The research subjects were odd semester students of class VII SMP Negeri 2 Prabumulih. This type of research is Quasi-Experimental. The data in this researcher are divided into quantitative data. Quantitative data were obtained through the Mathematical Problem Solving Ability Test, which was carried out before (pretest) and after (posttest) learning activities. From the analysis results obtained T value of -6.82 with a sign value (sig 0.00) <5%, meaning that there are differences in the treatment of the control class. The results of the analysis of the data obtained conclusions. 1) improvement in mathematical problem solving abilities of students who get learning with Mind Mapping models better than students who get conventional learning in terms of (a) the whole student (b) KAS students.Keywords— Mind Mapping, Mathematical Problem Solving Abstrak— Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk melihat adanya peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa semester ganjil kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Prabumulih. Jenis penelitian ini Quasi-Experimental. Data dalam peneliti ini dibedakan atas data kuantitatif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui Tes Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis, yang dilakukan sebelum (pretes) dan sesudah (postes) kegiatan pembelajaran. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh nilai T hitung -6,82 dengan nilai tanda (sig 0,00) < 5%, artinya terdapat perbedaan perlakuan terhadap kelas kontrol. Analisis data yang digunakan : melakukan analisis deskriptif data dan menghitung gain ternormalisasi (normalized gain) pretes dan postes. Pengujian persyaratan analisis adalah uji normalitas data dan uji homogenitas varians keseluruhan data kuantitaf. Hasil analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan.1) peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan model Mind Mapping lebih baik daripadasiswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional ditinjau dari (a) keseluruhan siswa (b) KAS siswa.Kata Kunci— Mind Mapping, Pemecahan Masalah Matematis.

Abstract

Abstract-The thoughts of Cak Nur still greatly affect the HMI cadres of Palembang Branch. Therefore, this paper aims to reveal the thoughts of Cak Nur that affect the HMI cadres Palembang Branch, especially the thoughts contained in NDP HMI he has compiled. This study is a field study focused on assessing the implementation of NDP HMI in cadre development on HMI Palembang Branch by using qualitative descriptive method with inductive paradigm. The methods and paradigms are chosen in consideration of the analysis of research problems that require some information from below under the principles of qualitative research. Historical, sociological, and phenomenological approaches are an option for the purpose of research can be achieved well. The type of data in this study is qualitative-quantitative. The research data consist of primary and secondary data. The results of this study are first, the NDP was originally the working paper of PB HMI period 1966-1969 compiled by Cak Nur. At that time, he served as Chairman. The historical setting of this NDP concept, because Cak Nur calling to HMI cadres have a pocket book. NDP HMI is a reflection of Islamic thinking, humanity and keindonesiaan typical HMI. Second, the NDP for HMI cadres Palembang branch is the identity of the cadre or identity itself, and the values that must be used as the basis in the struggle of life, whether in organizing, in community, and in the state. To arrive at the implementation stage of the NDP for its cadres, HMI Palembang branch provides the same portion for each cadre to obtain teaching and education on NDP in stages; starting from the Introduction of Prospective Members (MAPERCA), Kader I Training (LK I), LK II, LK III, to the highest level, the NDP Instructor Training. All this is done so that every cadre has the opportunity to study, understand, animate and actualize the values contained in the NDP. Thirdly, Cak Nur, as an organizational and intellectual figure for the HMI cadres of Palembang branch, has a significant influence, especially the thoughts contained in NDP HMI which are always studied and actualized in organizational life, society and state.Keywords: HMI, Cag Nur, LK

Abstract

The main problem that was discussed in the study was how the supervision of school principals carried out on improving teacher performance at PulauRimau SDN 14 as well as how supervision was carried out by school principals on improving teacher performance at SDN 14 PulauRimau. The purpose of this study was to determine the development of supervision at Rimau 14 SDN to find out the improvement of teacher performance at SDN 14 PulauRimau. The study uses field research methods and the research instruments used are guidelines for observation, documentation and data analysis techniques. The interview data used in this study is to use qualitative methods. The study concluded: (1) The implementation of supervision of principals in SDN 14 PulauRimau has been carried out effectively (2) the performance of teachers in SDN 14 PulauRimau is well implemented, so that teachers experience improved performance each year (3) improvement in teacher performance at SDN 14 Rimau Island has an influence on the supervision of the principal so that it has a positive impact on improving teacher performance.

Abstract

Many studies have shown the advantages of comic media and Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) learning. The purpose of this study was to find out whether comic media can effectively improve learning activities and outcomes in class VI (six) students of SDN 7 Pulau Rimau if combined with STAD learning. The method used in this study is a descriptive quantitative approach involving 18 students. From the study, the results showed that the application of comic media in STAD learning in terms of the level of student activity, teacher activity, and student responses and student learning completeness turned out to be more increasing.

Abstract

Creating a musical work can not only be done in groups but can be done individually, like the example of using music software that is developing now. A composer / creator can produce a piece of music with the form of an mp3 media player. The music software is equipped with various sounds such as the sound of violins, guitars, drums etc. In the Software it also has sounds from traditional traditions of musical instruments in Indonesia and the world. Regional music or traditional music is music that was born and developed in areas throughout Indonesia. The distinctive feature of this type of music is the song content and the instrument (the instrument). Traditional music has distinctive characteristics, namely poetry and melodies using local language and style. Traditional art which is identity, identity, media expression of the community. Learning by means of new innovations based on the construktivistic paradigm, help student to get a new understanding and can develop ideas widely and suport student independence in explisit discusion.

Abstract

Temuan sejarah di Desa Sako Kecamatan Rambutan sebagai media pembelajaran sejarah lokal. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai sejarah apa dari temuan sejarah di desa Sako kecamatan Rambutan Kabupaten Banyuasin Provinsi Sumatera Selatan yang dapat di jadikan sebagai media pembelajaran sejarah lokal. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai sejarah dari temuan sejarah di desa Sako kecamatan Rambutan Kabupaten Banyuasin Provinsi Sumatera Selatan yang dapat di jadikan sebagai media  pembelajaran sejarah lokal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif  kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang peneliti gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dokumentasi, observasi dan studi pustaka. Pengujian data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan model analisis interaktif. Dari hasil penelitian dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa desa Sako sangat kaya akan data-data arkeologi dari masa kerajaan Sriwijaya, Kesultanan Palembang Darussalam, hingga masa-masa kolonial yang masih belum banyak tersentuh oleh penelitian. Data arkeologi tersebut harus cepat-cepat diselamatkan agar tidak kehilangan data-data sejarah lokal, mengingat data-data tersebut berada dilahan proyek. Keywords- Temuan Sejarah, Fosil, Moluska, Media Pembelajaran Sejarah Lokal

Abstract

Abstract— The existence of a social community in education is one of the solutions for underprivileged children and dropping out of school in order to get decent education for free. However, volunteers who teach specifically in teaching mathematics must have knowledge of the learning approach so that students are interested and easily understand the material. One approach that can be applied is the PMRI (Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education) approach. PMRI has principles and characteristics. The principle of PMRI is guided re-invention through progressive mathemizing, didactical phenomenology, and self-developed models. The characteristics of PMRI are use contextual problems, use models or bridges with vertical instruments, use student contributions, interactivity, and integrated with other learning topics. Based on the principles and characteristics, the PMRI approach is very interesting and can bridge students to understand the material. Keywords— PMRI, Social Community, Mathematics Learning   Abstrak— Adanya komunitas sosial yang bergerak di bidang pendidikan merupakan salah satu solusi bagi anak yang kurang mampu dan putus sekolah agar dapat mendapatkan pendidikan yang layak secara gratis. Namun, relawan yang mengajar khususnya dalam mengajarkan mata pelajaran matematika harus dibekali dengan pengetahuan mengenai pendekatan pembelajaran agar siswa tertarik dan mudah memahami materi. Salah satu pendekatan yang dapat diterapkan adalah pendekatan PMRI (Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia). PMRI memiliki prinsip dan karakteristik. Prinsip PMRI yaitu penemuan kembali  secara terbimbing melalui matematisasi progresif, fenomena didaktik, dan model-model yang dikembangkan sendiri. Karakteristik PMRI yaitu menggunakan masalah kontekstual,menggunakan model atau jembatan dengan instrumen vertikal, menggunakan kontribusi siswa, interaktivitas, dan terintegrasi dengan topik pembelajaran lain. Berdasarkan prinsip dan karakteristiknya, pendekatan PMRI sangat menarik dan dapat menjembatani siswa dalam memahami materi. Kata Kunci— PMRI, Komunitas Sosial, Pembelajaran Matematika
