Abstract

Abstract— Science education is expected to be a vehicle for students to learn themselves and the natural environment, as well as the prospects for further development in applying it in everyday life. One's scientific literacy is closely related to technological and mathematical literacy. Science literacy can also be defined as the ability to read and write about science and technology. The application of science is very much found in technology products. It could be the opposite, science is found from the emergence of technology products. Some research results show that learning science in the context of technology and design has the potential to increase scientific literacy. Students can interpret more deeply the importance of science for technological development, and vice versa. STEM (Science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education is now an alternative science learning that can build a generation that is able to face the challenging 21st centuryKeywords— Science literacy, STEMAbstrak— Pendidikan IPA (sains) diharapkan dapat menjadi wahana bagi peserta didik untuk mempelajari diri sendiri dan alam sekitar, serta prospek pengembangan lebih lanjut dalam menerapkannya di dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Literasi sains seseorang sangat terkait dengan literasi teknologi dan matematika. Literasi sains dapat pula didefinisikan sebagai kemampuan membaca dan menulis tentang sains dan teknologi. Penerapan sains sangat banyak ditemukan dalam produk-produk teknologi. Bisa jadi sebaliknya, sains ditemukan dari munculnya produk-produk teknologi. Beberapa hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran sains dalam konteks teknologi dan rancang bangun sangat potensial meningkatkan literasi sains. Siswa dapat memaknai lebih dalam arti penting sains bagi perkembangan teknologi, dan sebaliknya. Abstract

The global citizen education word if it is meant to mean global public education that aims to make global society more wise in menajalankan kehidupannnya and still in accordance with the norms of life. The term "Global Citizen" is also defined as the concept of global citizenship that challenges the human mind for a long time even though the exact definition can never really be agreed upon. So it is not surprising that global citezenship education can form cybercommunity because it is in this era of cyber society is growing rapidly and education for the global community is very necessary, especially moral education. Because in the present era has entered the name of a moral crisis that resulted in global society doing things beyond the norms and social values that exist. Abstract

The demands and challenges of educators in technology in the world of education in the 21st era are now the use of technology in the world of education where educators are required to "literate" information and technological progress. With this technology educators are required to be able to use technology optimally in the learning process. With the rapid technological advancements like now where educators feel "being challenged" to be able to master the process of transforming technology use in the learning process, educators must be willing to learn about the use of technology where learning in the 21st era now applies hybrid learning systems. Besides having teaching skills in delivering face-to-face learning material, educators also have the skills and knowledge to develop digitalization-based learning resources or the internet or computers, educators must also be able to innovate learning methods or be able to apply the two learning methods in that learning. The combination of learning can also be applied to e-learning (online) integration. Educators must be able to meet the demands of knowledge with high competitiveness in the use of technology so that students are able to compete and exist in their time.

Abstract

Education is something very important in human life. With human education it is able to explore and develop the potential given by God in everyone. Many ways are taken by people to get education, one of them is formal education. In the school environment students are a barometer of success in the education system. Therefore improving the quality of students is very important in the teaching and learning process in schools. The main cause of low student achievement is the weak student learning strategy. Most low achieving students do not know how they study well according to their abilities. This study aims that students who have low learning achievement can improve their learning achievement. The subjects of the study were class VI SDN 4 Banyuasin II students and involved teachers, principals and parents. The method used to improve student learning achievement is group discussion, memorizing, reading and taking notes. In this discussion there is also responsibility and self-esteem. The method in this study is a type of qualitative research, because it is done using information obtained through instruments of data collection, interviews, and observation.

Abstract

Abstract—This study discusses the "Emotional Classification of Main People in Novel Men Tiger by Eka Kurniawan (A Study of Literary Psychology)". The problem in this research is how the main character classification of Eka Kurniawan's Lelaki Harimau novel includes guilt, self-punishment, shame, sadness, gratitude, and love. The method used is qualitative descriptive method with structural and psychological approach. Data analysis technique used is content analysis technique (content analysis). Based on the findings and discussion of emotional classification, it can be concluded that there are four figures who became the object of the classification of emotions in the novel namely Margio, Komar Bin Syueb, Nuraeni, and Maharani. Margio's classification of emotions includes guilt, self-punishment, shame, sadness, hatred, and love. The classic emotional classification of Komar Bin Syueb consists of guilt, shame, hatred and love. The emotional classification found in the character of the Nuraeni character is emotions such as guilt, shame, sadness, and love. While the character Maharani experiencing emotional classification in the form of self-punishment, sadness, and love.Keywords—Classification of emotions and literary psychology. Abstrak: Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah klasifikasi emosi tokoh utama dalam novel Lelaki Harimau karya Eka Kurniawan yang meliputi rasa bersalah, menghukum diri sendiri, rasa malu, kesedihan, kebenciaan, dan cinta. Metode yang digunakan yakni metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan struktural dan psikologis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah teknik content analysis (analisis isi). Berdasarkan hasil temuan dan pembahasan klasifikasi emosi, dapat disimpulkan bahwaterdapat empat tokoh yang menjadi objek sasaran dari klasifikasi emosi dalam novel tersebut yakni Margio, Komar Bin Syueb, Nuraeni, dan Maharani. klasifikasi emosi tokoh Margio yakni meliputi rasa bersalah, menghukum diri sendiri,  rasa malu, kesedihan, kebencian, dan cinta. Klasifikasi emosi tokoh Komar Bin Syueb yakni terdiri atas rasa bersalah, rasa malu, kebencian dan cinta. Klasifikasi emosi yang ditemukan dari karakter tokoh Nuraeni yakni emosi seperti rasa bersalah, rasa malu, kesedihan, dan cinta. Sedangkan tokoh Maharani mengalami klasifikasi emosi berupa menghukum diri sendiri, kesedihan, dan cinta.Kata Kunci—Klasifikasi emosi dan psikologi sastra.

Abstract

The teacher as an agent of change has a very important role in the success of students in achieving learning goals, especially in the era of industrial revolution 4.0, the use of learning media that are able to create a pleasant learning environment and motivate students to improve their ability to have appropriate competencies with the times, this is where the importance of the role of the teacher as a facilitator in bridging the needs of students for the use of technology that can improve the success of their learning. Learning in this era of revolution 4.0 cannot replace the role of a teacher in the teaching and learning process, but can help teachers and students in achieving educational goals as expected in Undang-Undang Nomor 20 tahun 2003 tentang sistem Pendidikan Nasional, Pasal 3. Interactive multimedia as one of the learning media based on technology is one of several appropriate media to answer the needs of teachers and students in realizing the ideals of national education.

Abstract

The experiment was conducted at state elementary school of 242 Palembang. The study was conducted over 3 months. Subjects were students of class V. amounting to as many as 35 people, consisting of 16 female students and 19 male students. Data obtained from the students involved in this study at state elementary school of 242 Palembang, observer and parties other related parties. Techniques of data collection by way of tests and observation. The indicators that are expected in the study of this class action is the accurrence of 70% increase in learning outcomes students achieve mastery learning. The results of this study for 88.57% of the students have completed study and 11.43% of students do not pass the study. This number clearly shows that there has been a significant and the results are in accordance with the expectation that student's mastery of 80%.

Abstract

In industrial revolution 4.0 maneuvers will produce a "smart factory" with a modular structure, the physical-cyber system will supervise physical processes, create copies of the physical world virtually, and make decisions that are not centralized. Through the internet for everything, cyber-physical systems communicate and cooperate with each other and humans together. Through cloud computers internet and cross-organization services are provided and utilized by various parties in the value chain. With this speed a new breakthrough occurred in the present era, on an exponential scale, not on a linear scale; Second, the decline in marginal production costs and the emergence of platforms that can unite and concentrate several scientific fields that have been proven to increase employment output. Transformation can cause changes in the entire system of production, management, and governance of an institution; and, thirdly, this global revolution will have a major influence and be formed in almost all countries in the world, where the scope of transformation takes place in every industrial field and can have a comprehensive impact in many places.

Abstract

Abstract — The process of learning (education) is a process in which a person is taught to be faithful and obedient also his mind is nurtured and developed. Education for a developing nation like the Indonesian nation today is an absolute necessity that can not be negotiable, the development of education must also be in line with the development guidance step by step. A student in learning activities at school will not be separated from the various rules and regulations that apply in school, and every student is required to be able to behave in accordance with the rules and regulations that apply in school. However, for children who are unfamiliar with the discipline, this will become hard when done at school. This less disciplined child will usually violate the existing order because he thinks the rule is what he wants to do. This is where the necessary role of teachers to help improve students' learning discipline, which is also a tool to control the behavior of students who are considered still distorted so that students become discipline in terms of learning or others. Development with physical education in schools requires skills, such as basic movement skills, sports game techniques and strategies, internalization of values (sportsmanship, honesty, cooperation, etc.) and healthy lifestyle habits. Implementation is not through conventional teaching in the classroom that is theoretical study, but involves physical elements, mental, intellectual, emotional and social.  Keywords — Physical Education, Discipline. Abstrak — Proses belajar (pendidikan) adalah proses yang dimana seseorang diajarkan untuk bersikap setia dan taat juga pikirannya dibina dan dikembangkan. Pendidikan bagi bangsa yang sedang berkembang seperti bangsa Indonesia saat ini merupakan kebutuhan mutlak yang tidak bisa ditawar lagi, perkembangan pendidikan juga harus sejalan dengan tuntunan pembangunan setahap demi setahap. Seorang siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan belajar di sekolah tidak akan lepas dari berbagai peraturan dan tata tertib yang diberlakukan di sekolahnya, dan setiap siswa dituntut untuk dapat berperilaku sesuai dengan aturan dan tata tertib yang yang berlaku di sekolahnya. Akan tetapi bagi anak yang tidak terbiasa dengan tata tertib hal ini akan menjadi terasa berat ketika dilakukan pada saat di sekolah. Anak yang kurang disiplin ini biasanya akan melanggar tata tertib yang ada karena ia berpikir peraturan itu merupakan keinginan apa yang ia lakukan. Disinilah diperlukan adanya peran guru untuk membantu meningkatkan kedisiplinan belajar siswa, yang sekaligus menjadi alat pengendali perilaku siswa yang dianggap masih menyimpang sehingga siswa menjadi displin dalam hal belajar ataupun yang lainnya. Pengembangan dengan pendidikan jasmani disekolah membutuhkan ketrampilan, seperti ketrampilan gerak dasar, teknik dan strategi permainan olah raga, internalisasi nilai-nilai (sportifitas, jujur, kerjasama, dan lain-lain) serta pembiasaan pola hidup sehat. Pelaksanaannya bukan melalui pengajaran konvensional didalam kelas yang bersifat kajian teoritis, namun melibatkan unsure fisik, mental, intelektual, emosi dan sosial. Kata Kunci — Pendidikan Jasmani, kedisiplinan.

Abstract

Abstrak— This research aims to develop products in the form of buy and sell transaction material with a method of payment using rubber beans for students in class VII SMP. The method used in this research is research and development developed by Thiagarajan. The research refers to the model 4D: define (defining), design, develop and disseminate (disseminate). The results showed that the learning media was developed valid or meet the eligibility criteria. The category of eligibility gained from media experts and also teachers is judged to be very valid. The implementation of learning media in the classroom can increase the students ' active participation, resulting in an increased critical thinking ability. This type of research is a quasi experiment, using control classes and experimental classes. The values obtained at the time of Pretests and Posttes in the experimental class indicate a significant difference. The experiment class values obtained 0.66 and the control class 0.53 by medium category. The effectiveness of learning is done by Manova test obtained the value of sig. 0.001 (< 0.05). The condition shows that the developed media is valid, practical and effective to use in the IPS learning process in class VII SMP.  Keywords— media learning; IPS material transactions; Critical Thinking Abstract—  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk berupa game transaksi jual beli materi dengan metode pembayaran menggunakan biji karet untuk peserta didik SMP Kelas VII pada mata pelajaran IPS. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah research and development yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan. Penelitian mengacu pada model 4D: define (mendefinisikan), design (mendesain), develop (mengembangkan) dan disseminate (menyebarluaskan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan valid atau memenuhi kriteria kelayakan. Kategori kelayakan yang diperoleh dari ahli media dan juga guru dinilai sangat valid. Implementasi media pembelajaran di dalam kelas dapat meningkatkan partisipasi aktif peserta didik sehingga berdampak pada peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Jenis penelitian merupakan quasi eksperimen, menggunakan kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Nilai  yang diperoleh pada saat pretest dan posttes pada kelas eksperimen menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan. Nilai   kelas eksperimen diperoleh 0,66 dan kelas kontrol 0,53 dengan kategori sedang. Efektivitas pembelajaran dilakukan dengan uji Manova diperoleh nilai sig. sebesar 0.001 (<0.05). Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan valid, praktis dan efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran IPS di kelas VII SMP.  Kata Kunci—media pembelajaran; IPS; transaksi materi; berpikir kritis
