Abstract

Revolution 4.0 requires teachers to be professional in the world of education. The role of teachers in the world of education is very urgent, because the condition of learning is the existence of a teacher. As teachers who live or are in the current global era, we are required to be creative and master technology so that it is not left behind by the current era. It is undeniable that the era of globalization requires us to be active, creative, master technology. If we cannot keep up with the current development of modern times, then we will be left behind by others.

Abstract

This study aims to develop computer-based learning devices with Autodesk Inventor software that is implemented in class XI machining engineering expertise programs, in the hope of increasing student mastery learning. The learning completeness indicator is that if a student obtains a score of at least 7.0 or 70% for productive education eyes and classically has obtained a value of at least 85% of the number of students in that class who have achieved an individual score of 70%. The results of the study show the following: for the assessment of the conventional method of 35 students, a range of values of less than 70 has been obtained by 24 students (68.57%) and a range of values of more than 70 as many as 11 students (31.53%). The assessment carried out by the method of using computer media with Autodesk Inventor software from 35 students has obtained a range of values of less than 70 as many as 5 students (14.29%) and a value range of more than 70 as many as 30 students (85.71%). From these data, it can be concluded that the eye learning training draws machine skills using the method of using computer media with Autodesk Inventor software significantly better when compared with learning using conventional methods.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of demonstration method by using boiler props (boiler) to understanding the concept of Law I Thermodynamics class XI in SMA Negeri 1 Ujanmas. The type of this research is quantitative description research. The population of this research is all grade XI IPA in SMA Negeri 1Ujanmas, with simple random sampling technique obtained class XI IPA 3 as control class and class XI IPA 4 as experiment class. The research instrument is a test question as much as 5 questions that are prepared based on conceptual understanding indicators. Data were analyzed using normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. the result of the analysis was obtained, the mean value of the experimental class posttest was 78.2 and the control class 65.6. T-test of both samples for posttest with significant level α = 0.05 obtained ttable = 2.00 and tcount = 4.98 then thitung> ttable thus Ha accepted and Ho rejected. Based on the calculation of data, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of demonstration method by using boiler props (boiler) to understanding the concept of material physics Law I thermodynamics in class XI IPA in SMA Negeri 1 Ujanmas

Abstract

Abstract— Education is basically the most important and very strategic in the effort to improve the quality of human resources (SDM). Education in its implementation has undergone many very basic changes in accordance with the times of the development of the world of education is entering a very important period. Not only in an effort to provide quality and optimal education services but it is also a crucial period that will determine the continuation of education itself. Today, the challenges of education are increasingly complex and require very serious preparation and thinking. We are faced with a rapid and non-linear change. This is as a result of the rolling of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. These technological advancements enable automation in almost all areas. which is the core part of the strategic plan adopted by the Cabinet of Japan, January 2016. Faced with this rapid change, with no exception to impact on education, it takes the policy of a school principal to respond to the change by conditioned all aspects to be able to adapt on the demands of existing changes. Keywords — Industial Revolution 4.0, Policy, Principal Abstrak— Pendidikan pada dasarnya adalah merupakan  hal yang paling utama dan sangat strategis dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manuisa (SDM). Pendidikan dalam pelaksanaannya telah mengalami banyak perubahan-perubahan yang sangat mendasar sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman Perkembangan dunia pendidikan tengah memasuki masa yang sangat penting. Tidak saja dalam upaya memberikan pelayanan pendidikan yang berkualitas dan optimal. Tetapi juga masa penting yang akan menentukan kelanjutan pendidikan itu sendiri. Saat ini, tantangan dunia pendidikan semakin kompleks dan menuntut persiapan dan pemikiran yang sangat serius. Kita dihadapkan pada suatu perubahan yang cepat dan non-linear. Ini sebagai akibat bergulirnya era Revolusi Industri 4.0. Kemajuan teknologi ini memungkinkan otomatisasi di hampir semua bidang. Abstract

This study aimed at describing the various strategies undertaken Student Regiment in implementing character education as a form of strengthening education through Radio Cultural Heritage YBJ-6 PDRI. This research was descriptive research using qualitative approach. This study was conducted at the Headquarters of the 126 Student Assembly Regiment of Muhawarman with commanders, staff and members. Data collection is done through observation, interview, and documentation. Technique examination of data validity used is triangulation technique. The results showed that the cultural heritage is an important thing that must be considered in the process of internalizing the value of character in the Student Regiment environment. Some strategies in implementing character education through cultural preservation such as the routine activities of state defending ceremonies, social service activities, and strengthening of national values. In the effort to implement character education can not be separated from the spirit of the commander, staff and members who synergize each other in creating a more positive unit.

Abstract

The Batanghari River is a flow of the Musi River which is located in the Banyuasin district, one of the areas in the South Suamtera Province. The potential of river tourism that is owned by the area is very large, with natural charm that is still beautiful river boundary covered with aquatic plants such as scattering tapestries, adding to the uniqueness and diversity that is fascinating and rarely found elsewhere. During this time the development of tourism objects in the area has not been managed optimally because of several obstacles that hinder the development of each river tourism object. The method in this study is descriptive qualitative. Descriptive because this study aims to describe the phenomenon of attractions in a systematic, factual, and accurate manner regarding the facts and the relationship between phenomena. Based on the results of the analysis of each tourist attraction, the Batanghari River has a high level of potential category with most of the river attractions that can be optimized are swamp buffalo attractions, and the beauty of river trunks that have the highest value. The results show that the supporting factors of the Batanghari river tourism object have not been well promoted, in the case that the area is not far from the city center, can be reached within 90 minutes from the city of Palembang. Other supporting factors are beautiful and pristine natural panorama, openness of society towards tourists, good security conditions, and a variety of uniqueness, as well as riverbanks that can reconcile the heart. The inhibiting factors that lead to river tourism are the limited facilities and infrastructure of tourist objects, the lack of public transportation to reach these attractions, the lack of public awareness to make the area a tourist attraction (professional HR to manage tourism objects), the absence of tourism promotion or less take advantage of technological advancements.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to resulting in comparative learning material trajectories to support students' mathematical reasoning abilities. Research methods design research used in this study, Hypothetical Learning Trajectory developed from a series of comparative material learning activities. Theoretically, development is carried out through an interative process including preliminary design, teaching experiment, and restrospective analysis in order to contribute to Local Intructional Theory, to support students' reasoning abilities. The subjects of this study were students PGSD Semester II as much 38 students. Data collection techniques used in this study are videos, student worksheets, tests, and Interview. Keywords: Learning Design, Comparative Mathematics, Reasoning Abilities. Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan lintasan belajar materi perbandingan untuk mendukung kemampuan bernalar matematika mahasiswa. Metode penelitian design research yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dugaan lintasan belajar (Hypothetical Learning Trajectory) dikembangkan dari serangkaian aktivitas pembelajaran materi perbandingan. Pengembangan secara teoritis dilaksanakan melalui proses interatif meliputi merancang aktivitas pembelajaran (preliminary design), melaksanakan pembelajaran (teaching experiment) dan melakukan analisis retrospektif (restrospective analysis) dalam rangka memberi kontribusi terhadap teori pembelajaran lokal (Local Intructional Theory) untuk mendukung kemampuan bernalar mahasiswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa PGSD Semester II sebanyak 38 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah video, lembar kerja mahasiswa, tes (tes awal dan tes akhir), dan wawancara. Kata Kunci: Desain Pembelajaran, Matematika Perbandingan, Kemampuan Bernalar

Abstract

Abstract— Some research results indicate that the implementation of supervision so far is still administrative, the observations are still on the physical scope of the material that is easily observed, not on the lessons handled by the teacher. Whereas learning is a core activity at school. Therefore, efforts must be made to maximize the implementation of supervision, especially clinical supervision as part of quality assurance of learning services in primary schools. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 29 Banyuasin III. The research approach uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques use interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis through three stages, namely data reduction, and drawing conclusions / verification. The results of the study state that 1) Quality Assurance analysis produces a diagnosis of the causes of problems in teaching and actions taken to overcome the problems faced by conducting clinical supervision; 2) the results of clinical supervision indicate an increase in the quality of teaching conducted by teachers; 3) In order for the quality of learning to remain at the standards set by the school, the headmaster of mentoring continues. Keywords— Clinical Supervision, Quality Assurance  Abstrak—.Beberapa hasil penelitian menun­jukkan bahwa pelaksanaan supervisi selama ini masih berorintasi administratif, pengamatannya masih terhadap lingkup fisik material yang mudah diamati, tidak pada pembela­jaran yang ditangani guru. Padahal pembelajaran meru­ pakan kegiatan inti di sekolah. Oleh karenanya, harus ada upaya untuk memaksimalkan pelaksanaan supervisi khususnya supervisi klinis sebagai bagian dari quality assurance layanan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 29 Banyuasin III. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Analisis data melalui tiga tahapan yaitu reduksi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa 1)  analisis Quality Assurance menghasilkan diagnosis penyebab permasalahan dalam pengajaran dan tindakan yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi dengan melakukan  supervisi klinis; 2) hasil supervisi klinis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan mutu pengajaran yang dilakukan guru; 3) Agar kualitas pembelajaran tetap berada pada standar yang telah ditentukan oleh sekolah, maka kepala sekolah pendampingan terus menerus. Kata Kunci—Supervisi Klinis, Quality Assurance

Abstract

The development of the PISA framework from year to year is increasingly focused on problem solving. This indicates that problem-solving ability is crucial. Considerable studies at the international level on the influence of PISA implies that the world also indirectly focuses on problem-solving abilities. The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) mentions five basic mathematical skills, one of which is problem solving. Mathematical modeling is one of the stages of mathematical problem solving. For that, mathematical modeling problems are chosen so that student can train problem solving ability. This study aims to describe problem solving ability of junior high school students in solving mathematical modeling problems. The result of mathematics problem solving test in grade VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Palembang has three categories, that is students with problem solving ability of mathematical well, enough, and less. The lowest occurrence of the problem solving indicator is the first indicator that is to explore and understand mathematics problems.

Abstract

Nowadays, the development of technology is very fast. As the result of the science achievement, it is very beneficial and helpful for the human beings in doing their daily activities. Technology is also used in education. It is called as the globalization era which the conventional teaching and learning activities transform to the digital form by applying the Information and communication technology. Not only the students might access all kind the information during inside/outside learning activity, but the teachers also might use it in their classes to improve their teaching activity lively. It is common sense to see that there are many kinds of gadget can be used such as: smartphone (handphone), laptop, in focus, (personal) computer connected by digital online media/ internet in most schools. Being able to apply digital media in teaching and learning activity makes teachers can fulfill one of the requirments as the professional teachers.
