Abstract

The objective of this research to know how the role of parents in the students’ learning motivation. Type of research is qualitative research. Research was conducted in class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Palembang, with subject of 5 students and 5 parents of students. Methods for data collection is used interview, observation and document. Data analysis using descriptive qualitative analysis. Parents have important role to develop the of their children capability. Parents are first and have main educators in the family environment, it needed maximum effort to be educate children in all aspects of developed and increased the role of parents as educators in family. Therefore, parents have important role especially in determine education for children. Parents should be able to condition for family environment to support children's education. Parents' involvement in the education of their children motivated them quickly..  The results showed the role of parents in the students’ learning motivation. First subject, parent had high role in the students’ learning motivation, the subject had high in learning motivation. Second subject, parents had low role in the students’ learning motivation, the subject had low in learning motivation. Third subject, parents had average in the students’ learning motivation, subject had average in learning motivation. Fourth subject had high role in the students’ learning motivation, subject had high in learning motivation. Fifth subjects parents had low role in the students’ learning motivation, subject had low in learning motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the learning difficulties experienced by students in the learning process at MTs Negeri 1 Palembang, in this study using a type of qualitative research by analyzing the management functions of counseling guidance services that had been applied at MTs Negeri 1 Palembang. The results of this study indicate that the form of learning difficulties experienced by students at MTs Negeri 1 Palembang. Learning difficulties in the form of learning disorder have never happened in the 2018-2019 school year. Factors that Become the Cause of Students Learning Difficulties at MTs Negeri 1 Palembang.Case of learning disorder. Evaluation is carried out through collaboration with the student's homeroom teacher, by means of intense communication related to the development of children who have learning difficulties.

Abstract

Abstract— One of the pedagogic competence of teachers was to utilize information and communication technology for learning purposes, such as making computer-based learning media. This study aimed to produce a product in the form of a visual and audio mathematics video made by FKIP students. The learning model used was Project Based Learning, where students worked in group completing the learning video project using windows live movie maker software within a period of one month. This research was a qualitative descriptive research, which focused on process and product assessment. Assessment process seen from the periodical report and self assessment and product assessment viewed from oral presentation, peer review (assessment), and final report. The final product in the form of a learning video presented in the presentation already contained the concepts and problems of mathematics and how to solve it. In addition to supporting students to creativity to solve mathematics problems in everyday life by learning video, this research was also an innovation in learning mathematics. Keywords— Project based learning, learning media, learning video, windows live movie maker  Abstrak— Salah satu kompetensi pedagogik guru adalah dapat memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk kepentingan pembelajaran, seperti pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis komputer. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan produk berupa video pembelajaran matematika berbasis audio visual yang dibuat oleh mahasiswa FKIP sebagai calon guru pada mata kuliah media pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah Project Based Learning, dimana mahasiswa bekerja dalam kelompok menyelesaikan proyek video pembelajaran menggunakan software windows live movie maker dalam kurun waktu satu bulan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yang berfokus pada penilaian proses dan produk. Penilaian proses dilihat dari laporan bertahap dan self assesment serta penilaian produk dilihat dari presentasi produk, peer  review (assessment), dan laporan akhir. Produk akhir berupa video pembelajaran yang ditampilkan dalam presentasi sudah mengandung konsep-konsep dan permasalahan matematika serta cara penyelesaiannya. Selain mendukung mahasiswa untuk berkreativitas menuangkan permasalahan matematika dikehidupan sehari-hari dalam bentuk video pembelajaran, penelitian ini juga merupakan inovasi dalam pembelajaran matematika. Kata Kunci— Project based learning, media pembelajaran, video pembelajaran, windows live movie maker.

Abstract

Abstract— Education is an entity that is very closely related to human culture and civilization. Progress in science and technology has been seen and can be enjoyed by humanity. But behind the progress of science and technology also does not have a slight negative impact on many people, especially in the current era of globalization which is very closely related to the nation's morals. The threat that may not be realized by the current generation related to the emergence of the development of science and technology is the moral degradation of the nation. Education takes a very important role in overcoming this polemic. Education is intended as a machine in creating the nation's generation to face the future and make this nation have a civilization and dignity among other nations in the world. The era that is always developing demands education to always adjust and become a motor in the process of growing up and developing the nation. In the context of globalization, education in Indonesia needs to accustom children to understand the existence of the nation in relation to the existence of other nations and all world problems. In connection with the times, we have entered what is called the era of technological disruption. In this era, demanding humans in addition to thinking logically must also be capable of addressing the development of information that has been packaged in a digital system. National education needs to consider these aspects so that the system that has been formed can be relevant to the times. The education bureaucracy at the national level needs to focus on strategic and visionary policies and be able to create a system that is able to bridge the pure values of the nation with existing developments. Keywords— Education, Nation's Morals, Era of Disruption and Globalization. Abstrak— Pendidikan merupakan suatu entitas yang sangat erat dengan budaya dan peradaban manusia. Kemajuan dalam bidang ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi telah terlihat dan dapat dinikmati umat manusia. Namun dibalik kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi tersebut juga tidak sedikit menimbulkan dampak negatif bagi banyak manusia, apalagi dalam era globalisasi sekarang ini yang sangat berkaitan erat dengan moral bangsa.  Ancaman yang mungkin kurang disadari oleh generasi saat ini berkaitan dengan munculnya perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi adalah degradasi moral bangsa. Pendidikan mengambil peran yang sangat penting dalam mengatasi polemik yang terjadi ini. Pendidikan dimaksudkan sebagai mesin dalam menciptakan generasi bangsa untuk menghadapi masa depan dan menjadikan bangsa ini memiliki peradaban serta bermartabat di antara bangsabangsa lain di dunia. Zaman yang selalu berkembang menuntut pendidikan untuk selalu menyesuaikan diri dan menjadi motor dalam proses pendewasaan dan pembangunan bangsa. Dalam konteks globalisasi, pendidikan di Indonesia perlu membiasakan anak-anak untuk memahami eksistensi bangsa dalam kaitan dengan eksistensi bangsa-bangsa lain dan segala persoalan dunia. Berkaitan dengan perkembangan zaman, kita telah memasuki yang namanya era disrupsi teknologi. Pada era ini menuntut manusia di samping berpikir logis juga harus cakap dalam menyikapi perkembangan informasi yang telah dikemas dalam sistem digital. Pendidikan nasional perlu mempertimbangkan aspek-aspek itu sehingga sistem yang telah dibentuk dapat relefan dengan perkembangan zaman. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the picture of student learning independence by implementing computer-assisted learning. The subjects in this study were students of class X SMK Mandiri Palembang which consist of 20 people. The data were collected by questionnaire and interview. The results of data analysis showed that the level of student learning independence by implementing computer-assisted learning is equal to 77.35% and included in either category. PBK is an instrumental in the learning process, thus making teachers and learners accustomed to communicate to share knowledge and experience. In the learning process, learners also become more independent, capable, and creative when using the CPE. Given that independence, skill, and creativity are part of values in character education, it should be developed and used as a primary tool in learning to realize the values of character education itself.

Abstract

This research is descriptive-qualitative research, with the aim to provide an explanation of the challenges of teachers in conducting learning in the era of globalization or coolly called the contemporary era. One of them is in the use of technology to support classroom learning. The teacher also faces various other problems in various fields. The technique of collecting data is document observation. The conclusion of the study is that contemporary teachers face various challenges in the socio-cultural, political and technological fields. All of these challenges, demand the teacher, as the spearhead of learning to develop further by trying to improve their abilities.

Abstract

The Vision of Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) is the implementation of teaching that is able to enhance Indonesia's positive image in the international world in order to make Indonesian as a broad language of communication at the level of nations. To be able to realize the integrated learning objectives of BIPA culture, BIPA teachers must always update information, especially human, art, culture; more broadly is Indonesian culture. In this case, the instructors in the BIPA program are required to be able to develop systematic learning tools. BIPA teachers must be able to become the front guard in civilizing Indonesia through new literacy, including data literacy, technology literacy, and human literacy. This condition marks the beginning of the era of the digital industry world which has become a paradigm and reference in the present order of life.

Abstract

Abstract— This study is entitled "Education for Entrepreneurship and Community Service Research problem formulation: What is the role of schools in facing disruptive learning towards Community 5.0? As well as what efforts can be done by the world of education in supporting entrepreneurship and community service in schools? The results showed the role of schools in facing the challenges of disruptive learning towards the community 5.0. that is, schools must provide various supporting elements such as sufficient internet access for the benefit of learning in schools. To answer the challenges of disruptive learning towards community 5.0, students are taught entrepreneurship material while studying at school.                Keywords— Disruptive Learning, Society 5.0. Entrepreneurship Abstrak — Penelitian ini berjudul “Pendidikan untuk Kewirausahaan dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Rumusan masalah penelitian: Bagaimanakah peran sekolah menghadapi pembelajaran era disruptif menuju Masyarakat 5.0? Serta upaya-upaya apa sajakah yang bisa dilakukan oleh dunia pendidikan di dalam mendukung kewirausahaan dan pengabdian masyarakat di sekolah? Abstract

Globalization bring new challenges that must be answered by education. Need to change strategy education in preparing humans Indonesia in order to provide answers to the global challenges and opportunities globally. Method in this study using a research method descriptive qualitative. This study provides an overview of the global education through local wisdom. Study guide SMA 18 cities Palembang. Data collection techniques used in this study is observation, interviews, and documentation. Result of this research is a global education based local wisdom is required in order to improve the quality of education can compete in the middle of globalization. Global education very need to be applied to the current conditions. Abstract

Tthis research to enhance student’s learning outcomes in Chemistry subject of XI MIA 3 of SMA Negeri 2 Tanjung Raja through the application of active learning strategies with sorting cards. This research was conducted at SMAN 2 Tanjung Raja with the sample of this research was XI MIA 3 totaling 28 students consisting of 12 male and 16 female. This research was conducted in three cycles that consist of two meetings on each cycle. The data collection was done through the test at the final stage on each cycle and observation along the learning process. The students average score before treatment (T0) was 60.18 with the percentage range was 28.57%. Based on the results of this research, the student average score in the first cycle (T1) was 74.73 with the percentage range of 46.43%. Students became interested and motivated in the learning process, but have not yet reached complete learn, because there was still weaknesses as students who are not active in seeking friends that one category and students who are not active in making presentations. In the second cycle (T2), the student average score was 77.71 with the percentage range was 69.23%. The students scoring at the second cycle was higher than the first cycle, because on the second cycle which students were required to read first, understand the material and do the exercises. But has not reached indicators of mastery learning, there was students who are not active in making the presentation material and exercises. In the third cycle (T3), the student average score was 85.48 with the percentage range was of 85.19%. The students scoring in the third cycle was higher than the score of the second cycle, because in the third cycle which students record and understand the results of the exercises were done, then the third cycle indicator value has reached mastery learning. In conclusion, result of this research showed that the application of active learning strategies with sorting cards has improved students learning outcome in chemistry.
