Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji  pengaruh  variabel CAR, NIM, LDR, NPL, dan BOPO, terhadap  ROA. Permasalahan  dalam  penelitian  ini adalah adanya research  gap dari penelitian terdahulu dan fenomena business gap dari data kelompok  bank umum  di Indonesia, tahun2002-2010  pada Statistik Perbankan Indonesia sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian lanjutanyang meneliti  permasalahan  faktor-faktor  yang mempengaruhi  Return On Asset (ROA) dengan didasari  oleh teori yang mendasar. Faktor-faktor tersebut  terdiri  dari variabel CAR, Net Interest Margin (NIM),  Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Non Performing  Loan (NPL), dan Biaya Operasional  terhadap  Pendapatan Operasional  (BOPO).Teknik sampling   yang  digunakan  adalah  purposive  sampling   dengan  kriteria  bank  umum  diIndonesia yang menyajikan laporan keuangan periode 2002  sampai dengan 2010  dan bank umum yang memperoleh laba periode 2002-2010.  Data diperoleh berdasarkan publikasi Direktori Perbankan Indonesia periode tahun 2002  sampai dengan tahun 2010.  Diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanyak 16 perusahaan dari 26 bank umum di Indonesia periode 2002-2010. Teknik  analisis  yang  digunakan   adalah  regresi  berganda  dengan  persamaan   kuadrat  terkecil dan uji hipotesis menggunakan t-statistik  untuk menguji koefisien regresi parsial serta f- statistik  untuk menguji  keberartian pengaruh  secara bersama-sama  dengan level of significance  5%. Selain itu juga dilakukan uji asumsi klasik yang meliputi  uji normalitas, uji multikolinieritas, uji heteroskedastisitas  dan uji autokorelasi.Selama periode  pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa data penelitian  berdistribusi  normal. Berdasarkan uji multikolinieritas, uji heteroskedastisitas  dan uji autokorelasi tidak ditemukan variabel yang menyimpang  dari asumsi  klasik, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa data yang tersedia telah memenuhi  syarat untuk menggunakan model  persamaan regresi linier berganda. Dari hasil  analisis  menunjukkan  bahwa  data LDR, NPL, dan BOPO secara  parsial  signifikan terhadap ROA.

Abstract

This study is aimed to analyze the factors influence towards the healthcare satisfaction as perceived by the inpatient and to formulate the best fit strategy to serve the hospitalized patients.The stratified random sampling was used to withdraw 140 inpatients for this study. The data that was collected from survey, observation, and from documentation was estimated with Structural Equation Model (SEM) and found that service satisfaction is significantly  influenced by service quality and life satisfaction, while the service quality is affected by inputs, environment, and work process.Man - power is found as the most important component for inputs and has high Loading Factor ( 1,039 ). Moreover, man - power is considered as the most dominant factor to influence the service quality and service satisfaction since it has very low probability of significance ( 0,000 ).This study recommends that the excellent service strategy could be formulated by considering the aspect of man - power resources. Type, number, and qualification of the man - power operation workers should be appointed according to the standard of personel  in order to fulfil the  needs of  the patients.

Abstract

Kondisi persaingan bisnis perbankan nasional yang ketat saat ini menuntut perusahaan untuk berusaha memenuhi harapan konsumen dengan memberikan kepuasan pada nasabah. Untuk mengantisipasi perubahan-perubahan yang terjadi pada lingkungan bisnis perbankan, perusahaan secara efektif dan efisien melakukan re-evaluasi dan re-orientasi kepada kebutuhan nasabah sehingga perlu dilakukan pemberdayaan karyawan. Pemberdayaan karyawan dilakukan dalam organisasi perusahaan dengan focus pada penyediaan produk dan jasa bagi customer. Pemberdayaan karyawan pada dasarnya membentuk karyawan produktif dan berkomitmen. Pemberdayaan karyawan (Empowerment) melalui tiga dimensinya (personal, influence, self efficiency organizational relationships dan employee-customer relationships (Corsan dan Enz. 1999)Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengarus dan support-based relationships terhadap empowerment di bidang industri perbankan. Sample yang diambil dari 5 bank-bank umum di Madya Semarang. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini secara kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi berganda sedangkan secara kualitatif dengan tabulasi data. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah kesuksesan pemberdayaan dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan kerja dimana karyawan bekerja serta dukungan dari konsumen. Bagi perusahaan berkala global, empowerment dituntut untuk memberdayakan karyawan agar memiliki tanggungjawab dan kemampuan/keterampilan kerja yang lebih besar. Empowerment bukan hanya sekedar "memberdayakan" seorang tetapi juga merupakan sebuah proses untuk membebaskan seseorang dari struktur itu "lingkungan" yang kaku

Abstract

The purpose of this study is analyzing the impact of the variable Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Insider Ownership (IO), Return On Asset (ROA),  Firm Size (SIZE), Current Ratio (CR), on variable Deviden Payout Ratio (DPR) and corporate value on manufacturing companies  listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2008 – 2011 period. Research using purposive sampling method for taking samples with the following criteria: (1) manufacturing company published financial report during period 2008 -2011; and (2) manufacturing company which always pays deviden within period of research (2008-2011). The Data was based on publicity Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD) from 2008 to 2011. Sample was acquired 134 observed. Data was analyzed with multi linier regression of ordinary least square and hypotheses was tested using t-statistic and f-statistic at level of significance 1%, 5%, 10%. Analysis result shows that insider ownership, ROA is partially affecting DPR have a significance value less than 5%, while firm size, liquidity and current ratio are not significant impact on DPR. ROA, DPR and firm size able to affect company value have a significance value less than 5%, while DER,insider ownership,  liquidity and current ratio are not significant impact on company value. The implication is that the company should prioritize ROA since ROA is a variable which dominantly affecting DPR and company value. The meaning of strategy which is done through investment strategy that is based on ROA has positif relationship upon deviden policy which means if the company has high profitability will give increase of deviden policy actually increase company value.

Abstract

Value Survey Module (VSM) 08 merupakan sebuah instrumen untuk mengukur dan membandingkan dimensi nilai-nilai budaya nasional. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk menelaah secara kritis formula perhitungan dimensi-dimensi VSM tersebut. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat inkonsistensi antara hasil perhitungan formula dengan definisi dimensi indulgence versus restraint dan monumentalism versus self effacement yang telah ditetapkan oleh penyusun instrumen VSM 08. Temuan tersebut dapat dijadikan pertimbangan bagi peneliti-peneliti selanjutnya dalam mengaplikasikan VSM 08 dalam riset lintas budaya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah pengaruh penginderaan pasar, pemasaran kewirausahaan, kemampuan jaringan, dan keunggulan bersaing mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kinerja pemasaran pada UKM makanan dan minuman di Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini mengambil sampel sebanyak 200 responden UKM makanan dan minuman di Kota Semarang.  Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu probability sampling dengan metode simple random sampling. Alat analisis yang digunakan yaitu structural equation model (SEM) pada program AMOS. Hasil analisis data untuk model secara keseluruhan telah memenuhi kriteria Goodness Of Fit yaitu nilai chi-square = 213,800; probability = 0,059; CMIN/DF = 1,168; GFI = 0,901; AGFI = 0,875; TLI = 0,988; CFI = 0,989; RMSEA = 0,029. Dengan demikian, dapat dikatakan bahwa model penelitian yang diajukan dapat diterima. Penelitian ini mempunyai lima hipotesis dan sudah diuji, ada satu hipotesis yang ditolak dan empat diterima. H1 penginderaan pasar memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keunggulan bersaing. Kemudian, H2 pemasaran kewirausahaan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan jaringan, lalu H3 keunggulan bersaing memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pemasaran. Selanjutnya H4 kemampuan jaringan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keunggulan bersaing, dan H5 kemampuan jaringan memiliki pengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja pemasaran.

Abstract

The 2008 Survey of SWA and MARS show that Top of Mind (TOM) Advertising of Djarum cigarette is 12.7 and the TOM Brand is 11.9. While in the 2007 survey show that TOM Brand of Djarum is 13.1 and it is higher that the TOM Advertising which is 12.1. This shows that there is a decline in TOM Brand from 13.1 in 2007 to be 11.9 in 2008. And there is an insignificant increase in TOM Advertising approximately 0.6 from 12.1 in 2007 to 12.7 in 2008. It is suspected that this is the cause of uncreative advertising of the Djarum cigarrete so that the advertising becomes ineffective. Hence, the problem of this research is How to improve the advertising effectiveness through the advertising creativity and the endorser credibility impacting the attitude toward the ad?To answer the problem of this research, questionnaires is distributed to 140 respondents. The respondent are people who had seen the advertising of Djarum. The questionnaire consist of items about the advertising creativity, endorser credibility, advertising effectiveness and the attitude toward the ad. Then, the data is being analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Analysis Method.The results of the SEM analysis method show that the hypotheses which say that the more creative an advertising is, the higher the advertising effectiveness; the higher the credibility of the endorser, the more effective the advertising is; and that the more effective the advertising, the more positive the attitude toward the ad is, had proven to be statistically accepted.

Abstract

The implementation of the competitive advantage development in the resource­ based theory depends on the inside­out, outside­in, and spanning process as a combination of strategic actions. Hence, this empirical research explores how the customer cultural awareness and knowledge management development as the inside­out processes and the market characteristic as the outside­in process influence the management behavior of the higher education institution and the implementation of the internationalization strategy as the spanning process. Using the data form questionnaire filled by the Indonesian higher education management processed with PLS model estimation, it founded that the inside­out process influence the spanning process. The results shows that the inside­out processes significantly influence the spanning process with cultural awareness OSE .33, knowledge management OSE .37, and the R2 .42. The management behavior significantly influence (OSE:.45 and R2:.30) tne internationalization strategy implementation. This research result was a new phenomenon, since theoretical propose a significant influence both of inside­out and inside­out processes to the spanning process, but the result was consistent to the RBV context that the inside­out process is the main consideration of the internationalization process. This research result has its implication that the intematicnalization process of Indonesian higher ecuceuon institution in the context of inside­out process influence to (he spanning process as a serial of strategic processes.

Abstract

The aim of this study are to obtain empirical evidence and test the factors   that have an influence towards the amount of passanger flight in Ahmad Yani Airport of Semarang. Hypoteses tested in this study deal with passanger fare (FARE), flight frequency (FREQ) and per capita income (INC). Yet also to know whether there is any significant effect between flights frequencies, passenger fares, and per capita income towards the number of amount of passanger flights.The population in this study is the flight data from 2002-2011. Techniques used for samplingin this study was purposive sampling. Collecting data using data pooling. Data were analyzed using regression in SPSS program .Results and implications of this study is that this study supports previous researchtheoritically which says that the change number of flights frequencies and the amount ofper capita income influenced towards the amount of passanger flights, while the passenger fare has no effect on the amount of passanger flights. At the managerial level, this study contributes to to increase the number of aircraft thus increasing the number of flights scheduled.

Abstract

This research is designed as an empirical research to investigate some factors influencing the manufacturing firms on the demand of public accoun­tant services. These factors include  the company size, the amount of company's debt, and the number of stocks owned by management.The measurement of company size include its total assets,   equities,   sales, and the number  of emplofees. The measurement of total company's debt includes the percentage of company's  capital  structure  as  well as  total  debt  (current   and   long­term liabilities)  and  total equity (total stocks and retained earnings). The measurement of the number of stocks owned by  man­agement include   the number of stock­ holders of the  company,   the number of stock­holder  who actively  participated in  managing  the firm,   the percentage of the stocks  owned by  the  member of management and non­member of management of the firm.For the sake of the research, 110 samples  of  manufacturing  firms  in Central Java were taken by using strati­ fied  random sampling.  The  samples were analyzed by regression method.  The research finding revealed that the com­ pany  size,  the company's debt,   and the number of stock owned by management significantly   influenced  the demand for external auditor services for the small, me­ diu ra,    and   large firms.  The bigger the company size and  the more  company's debt,  the greater  the possibility of   the firms required the audit services by pub­lic accountants.However,   the more stocks owned by management, the less the possibility of the finns  demand audited by public accoun­tants.
