Abstract

This study aims to determine how big the influence of core service quality and peripheral service quality to consumer satisfaction on BNI Undip Semarang. The problem that facing by BNI Undip Semarang is consumer’s satisfaction which decreasing, as seen from a lot of complains received from consumer. And this research also aims to analyze the most dominant factors that influence on consumer satisfaction of BNI Undip Semarang. Population of this research are consumers of BNI Undip Semarang. Samples were taken of 100 respondents by using non-probability sampling technique with accidental sampling  approach. Data was collected by using a survery method through quetionnaires which were filled out by consumers. Then, the obtained data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. This analysis includes: validity test,reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple regression analysis, hypothesis testing through the t test and F test, and coefficient of determination analysis (R²). From the analysis result, the indicators in this study are valid and reliables. The most dominant factor that influence on consumer satisfaction is peripheral service quality follow by the core service quality. Then though the F Test can be seen that the independent variables feasible to test the dependent variable. The result of Adjusted R Square is 36,2%, it means that independent variable can explain about 36,2% of dependent variable. Abstract

The problem in this research is a decrease in the amount of third party funds (savings)are decreased and the high number of closing the savings account of Islamic banking.This research aims to test the power of perceived service quality and perceived value toreligious satisfaction to improve consumer resaving interest in an Islamic Banking insemarang (study in BNI Syariah). This study using three independent variable isperceived service quality and perceived value , variable resaving intention consumer as adependent variable and variable religious satisfaction as intervening.A method of this research technique using probability sample that is random samplingand clusters of sampling to sample as many as 100 of respondents in the middle class andover who had bought an apartment in semarang .A method of data analyst using atechnique double regression analysis , the analysis includes: test the validity of , a test ofreliability , test the assumption of the classics , linear regression test doublet test , test f ,test the coefficients determined and test sobel.The results show significant and positive effect perceived service quality to religioussatisfaction and resaving intention, significant and positive effect perceived value toreligious satisfaction and repurchase intention, and then significant and positive effectreligious satisfaction to repurchase intention.Keywords : Perceived Service Quality, Perceived Value, Religious Satisfaction,Repurchase Intention.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of personality traits on entrepreneurial intention with self efficacy as mediators. This study uses Big Five Personality Traits as independent variables, entrepreneurial intention as the dependent variable, and self efficacy as intervening variables.This study took a study on students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University, Semarang. The sample in this study amounted to 150 respondents who were all students of the 2014 Faculty of Economics and Business Faculty of Diponegoro University and had taken the eighth semester.In this study using a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis tool by developing a theoretical model using three hypotheses that operate using the AMOS 20.0 computing program. Based on the results of data processing using SEM, the theoretical model established has met the criteria for goodness of fit is accepted. Based on the results obtained, the model is declared feasible to use. The results of testing hypotheses show that all hypotheses have a positive effect. The results of mediation testing also showed a significant influence that self-efficacy had a positive effect as a mediator for personality traits and entrepreneurial intention.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article is presented to comprehend theory, concept and analysis tools in using moderating variable. Stipulating a theory, concept will affect at usage or election of analysis tools. Therefore, this matter suggests researchers have to select tool of analysis that most precise. Some approach to be elaborated, for example, Interaction Approach, Absolute Difference Value Approach, Residual and of Subgroup Approach. The major problem of the operation and identification of moderator variables are discussed. Classification of moderating variable can be based on the relationship with the criterion variable, that is, whether the specification variables are relate or not relate to the criterion variable and whether the specification variables interacts with the predictor variable. Abstract

Waste segregation done at the production point to ensure higher material recycling, one frequently use attemp to ensure the effort is by encouraging waste segregation at household level. In fact household participation in recycling is low therefore the research on factor that encourage household involvement on their waste segregation or waste recycling is arrouse. Oskamp et al. (1991) stated that specific recycling knowledge is more related to recycling intention compare to general environmental knowledge issues. This research will analyze causal relationship between waste recycling knowledge with waste segregation intention. Method apply is experimental method. Result with t-test shows that experiment done succesfully. T-test shows difference intention to segregate waste befor and after treatment applied. Household waste recycling knowledge on participant shaped from information absorb by individuals through stimulus prepared so that individuals understand completelly the benefit of household waste recycling and encorage individual household waste recycling intention. Abstract

Based on the phenomenon of gap that Bank of Indonesia issued new regulations on thevaluation level of banking performance using Risk Based Bank Rating Methode SEBI No.13/24/DPNP/2011 and the research gap that occured differences in the results ofresearch. This study aimed to analyze the effect of NPL (Non Performing Loan), NIM(Net Interest Margin), LDR (Loan to Deposit Ratio) ROA (Operating Expenses toOperating Income), CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio), NOP (Net Open Position), and GoodCorporate Governance toward the level of financial performance of banks as measuredby ROA (Return on Assets)..The population that was used in this research is the Commercial Bank in Indonesia. Thesamples used were 20 commercial banks in Indonesia (period 2008-2012).Research usingpurposive sampling method for taking samples and analysis method that was used ismultiple linear regression.Based on the results of testing using multiple linear regression analysis, it can be notedthat Return On Assets influenced by NPL, NIM, LDR, BOPO, CAR, PDN, and GCG, itcan be seen from the results of the partial test (t-test), determination of coefficients test,and the simultaneous significance tests (f-test). The results showed that the variables NPL, NIM , CAR , and ROA significantly influence the level of financial performance ofbanking (ROA) but LDR , PDN , and GCG have no significant effect on the level offinancial performance of banking (ROA).Keywords: Bank Financial Performance , NPL, NIM, LDR, BOPO, CAR, PDN,GCG, ROA, RBBR

Abstract

Family firms are important assets that must be maintained for their sustainability. Therefore, the founder of the company should give extra attention to seek the succession of leadership for the company to continue sustainably with the right successor based on the criteria of the company. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the successor is appropriate according to company criteria or not if it is seen from the criteria of communication, personality, leadership, and the successor motivation.The method that will be used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with interview and observation as data collection technique. This research was conducted in Arya Mas Salatiga family company, with purposive sampling as the method of determining the resource, and member check as the test of the validity of the data.The results of this study indicate that the successor is already match or suitable with the criteria proposed by the company. Successors can communicate well and are in conformity with the criteria of the big 5 models and criteria of ACEMAN leaders although there are 1 unfulfilled criteria, as well as the high motivation and support of the founders in the training and development of the successor to make the successor worthy of being the leader of the company.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThere are two main topics when we took about Chief Executive Officer compensation, the first one is relationship between CEO compensation and shareholder interest that was knew as agency problem. The second one is about amount and mix of CEO compensation and it impact on corporate performance. Entry benefits and exit benefits are the one-off pecuniary that gift to CEO once during his/him duties. Ongoing benefits consist of fixed payment and at risk payment—short-tem incentives (STIs) and long-term incentives (LTIs).  Every kind of that compensation has special impact on CEO behaviour that shareholder want. Beside that compensations there is non-financial pecuniary that also has the same impact. Many persons argue that COEs are overpaid and that their compensation amounts are excessive and inequitable. The reason for this is because CEO has more complexity and responsibility job than the others in the company and has bigger contribution for company performance. Depend on latest research, there is positive and significantly relationship between CEO compensation and company performance.Keywords : Compensation; CEO (Chief Executive Officer); Corporate Performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine how big the influence of perceived quality, brand image, andpromotion of the purchasing decisions on Henky Glass & Craft product. Morever, thisresearch also aims to analyze the dominant factor that influence on purchasing decisions onHenky Glass & Craft product. This population in this study is customer Henky Glass & Craftproduct in Semarang. The sample on this study is 100 respondents and the techniques usenon probability sampling technique with approach of accidental sampling. Method that usedin this study is multiple linear regression. Simultaneously, the results shows that perceivedquality, brand image, and promotion variables the positive and significant effect onpurchasing decisions on Henky Glass & Craft product.Key words: perceived quality, brand image,promotion, purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The background of this research is the accumulation of passengers at ticket counter atdeparture station that indicates a lack of interest in using online reservation ticketservice. This research aims to analyze and provide empirical evidence about the influenceof the four variables of quality electronic services are efficiency (X1), fulfillment (X2),system availability (X3), dan privacy (X4) to customer satisfaction users onlinereservation ticket of PT Kereta Api Indonesia Daop 4 Semarang.Data analysis techniques used in this research is multiple regression analysis. Thepopulation in this study was the passengers that uses the online reservation ticket in thePT Kereta Api Indonesia Daop 4 Semarang. The amount of sampels are 100 respondensand the sampling method is purposive sampling. The data was collected usingquestionnaires.The t test result show that only variables efficiency, fulfillment, and system availabilityhave a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction .while privacy variable notpositive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. The multiple linier regressionresult show that efficiency variable are independent variables that most influence on thecustomer satisfaction.Keywords: quality of service, efficiency, fulfillment, system availability, privacy, customersatisfaction
