The journal an effort to provide forums for academicians and researchers who are interested in the discussion of current and future issues on Islamic studies. The journal is dedicated to the scholarly study of all aspects of Islam and of the Islamic world. Abstract

Poverty alleviation efforts are continuously being carried out by every country in the world, especially Indonesia. Various programs and policies have been implemented by the government as an intermediary in overcoming this problem with various fiscal policy issues in the form of fuel increases, taxes, external debt and APBN budget predictions where these policies are considered bad for the community because they are not targeted and is uneven. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of tax policy in alleviating poverty in Indonesia based on an economic review of Sharia. This study uses a Content Analysis through a qualitative approach. The conclusion of this study is that the measures implemented by the government to alleviate poverty have not been optimal. Islam finds the solution to less poverty through the zakat instrument. Islamic teachings lay the fundamental foundation for people's socio-economic growth and development through the concept of zakat, hence it is not wrong that the government considers zakat policy as one of the efforts to alleviate the poverty problem in Indonesia. As for the zakat policy in this matter, one of them is productive zakat in the form of capital and education for Small and Medium Enterprises and  optimizing the role of Amil Zakat Institution for the benefit of the Ummah.

Abstract

Basically everyone agrees that women and men are different. Women and men in the household are generally subject to the division of labor. This division of labor led to the development of limited social roles for both sexes and the creation of power differences in some respects that were more favorable to men. This role is seen in poor families in Padang Bolak Tenggara District. Thus, research was carried out to find out more about the role of women in supporting the economy of poor households in farming families in the District of Padang Bolak Tenggara, the profile of women (farmer's wives) who worked, the time spent required by farmers' wives, and what gender issues arose due to the involvement of the farmer's wife in supporting the family's economy. This paper is a gender perspective. The essence of gender perspective research is a study that clearly seeks to express women's experiences and gender relations according to a central issue that needs attention. Data collection methods using observation and interviews. In conducting data processing and analysis, researchers use Harvard analysis techniques. This technique is often referred to as Gender Framework Analysis (GFA), which is an analysis used to look at the gender profile of a social group and the role of gender in development. Based on observations in the District of Padang Bolak Tenggara of the farming family, it is known that the farmer's wife is very involved in helping the family economy. The profile of women (farmers' wives) in the District of Padang Bolak Tenggara can be seen from the average age of 40-50 years, 65% have a junior high school education background, only 3 people who have makeup/salon and sewing skills, besides farming. The intensity of time spent by women (farmer's wives) working outside is quite high at around 8-10 hours per day. This still does not include homework, i.e. doing homework and caring for children. This makes the workload and working time span of farmer's wives much longer than men. Thus, the gender issue that arises is injustice in the division of labor.

Abstract

This study sees the management of da'wah in the campaigning caliphate by Kaffah Da'wah Bulletin (BDK) on Facebook. By utilizing primary and secondary data, which were obtained from observation and documentation, the researcher attempted to collect relevant data. Data were analyzed by reduction techniques, data display, and data verification. It concludes that the planning of BDK da'wah on Facebook is to present certain topics and problems in Indonesia with the caliphate system. Social, political, cultural, religious, and educational issues cannot be separated from BDK's manipulation to attract public attention and strengthen the caliphate fighters. This community in carrying out da'wah utilizes the symbols of the Koranic verse about Islam kaffah at the top of writings. In addition, the implementation of da'wah is also carried out through various technological features and popular media; jpeg, mobile, pdf, podcast, audio reading, and WA group. The public's interest with the popular media availability has increased the reputation and supporters of BDK in campaigning for Islamic law and the establishment of an Islamic caliphate. Furthermore, the evaluation of BDK is by reposting all scatter bulletins, this shows the high public interest in the caliphate campaign seen in posts that were redistributed by BDK redistributed about 2500 netizens

Abstract

The problem in this study is that there are children who have good moral values and the learning of moral values carried out by teachers is already applicable to students. This research was conducted to find out how the implementation of the development of moral values in early childhood aged 4-5 years through the exemplary method in PAUD Thursina and PAUD Al-Faiz Langsa City. This research uses a qualitative research type. The subject of this research is the classroom teacher. The informants of this study were the principal, class assistant teacher. The method used in this research is observation, documentation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that in general the development of moral values for children aged 4-5 years in Al Faiz PAUD and Thursnina PAUD Langsa City has been carried out well. The implementation is carried out using various learning methods and techniques, parental involvement, moral value development strategies and in the implementation of KBM. While evaluation in the development of moral values is carried out by means of assessment, but in its implementation there is no specific assessment, but joins in all fields. Supporting factors in the implementation of the development of moral values in PAUD Al Faiz and PAUD Thursnina include: 1) the existence of workshops for educators in developing religious and moral values, 2) the existence of habituation boards and advice boards on moral values, 3) the existence of learning facilities and infrastructure adequate. While the inhibiting factors in the development of moral values in PAUD Al Faiz and PAUD Thursnina include: 1) differences in parenting patterns for students, 2) lack of cooperation from parents of students, 3) limited learning time, 4) differences in children's ability to follow learning

Abstract

This study's overarching goal is to describe the administration of teacher performance enhancement. The precise goals are to explain: 1) planning for increasing teacher performance, 2) putting the program into practice, and 3) assessing the management of teacher performance improvement. Interviews, observations, and documentation are used as data gathering methods in this descriptive qualitative research design. Teachers and principals served as the research participants. The outcomes demonstrated that management of increasing teacher performance through planning and evaluation was successful. However, several issues, including both internal and external issues, were discovered as a result of the management of increasing teacher performance.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the increasing learning outcomes obtained by some students after joining the ma'had program. Especially in semester III, there were many students who took lectures to semester IV, due to the GPA (Grade Point Average) they obtained and also the participation of students in scientific forums both locally and nationally. The research problem formulations were what ma'had programs in improving the quality of students, how to do it and how the evaluation system was. This study aimed to determine ma'had programs in improving the quality of students, how to do it and the evaluation system. The purpose of this research was to broaden the knowledge about student coaching. The discussion of this research related to the theory of quality improvement, extracurricular programs and ma'had or boarding schools. The research used descriptive method, the number of respondents was 25 from ma'had coaches, the instrument used observation and interviews, while the analysis of data by compiling data editors, selecting data, describing data and drawing conclusions. The results of this study therewere six ma'had programs in improving the quality of students at IAIN Padangsidimpuan. The ways to do the program were arranging the daily, weekly schedule and doing the program. The evaluation system was carried out following odd and even semester examinations. The forms of the test were oral, written and practical. If it was related with improving the quality of students, there was clearly an increase in quality that classified as high, medium and low

Abstract

The phenomenon of the veil in the community remains an interesting study because there are still many people who feel foreign to seeing women using it. Negative stigma is often directed at women who wear the veil by considering them as adherents of radicalism, terrorism, and followers of deviant studies. However, this development cannot be dammed and stopped so there are still many female students who wear the veil. The purpose of this study was to determine the motivation to use the veil among female students of IAIN Padangsidimpuan. This research is qualitative descriptive research that is revealing the phenomenon of the veil which is then reviewed from the point of view of Islamic law. Data collection techniques in this study use observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman model data triangulation technique, namely data collection, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this study indicate that the motivation to wear the veil among IAIN Padangsidimpuan students is intrinsic motivation, namely encouragement that comes from within. Extrinsic motivation is classified as little because having experience has a special relationship with "dating" status. The purpose of using the veil, in general, can be concluded to protect oneself, view, strengthen worship, be a shield not to do things that are forbidden by Allah, and become a pious person. Then the challenges they face come from themselves, their families, and the community environment in the form of negative stigma so that they are said to be adherents of radicalism, terrorism, extremism, and followers of deviant studies. Seeing the results of the study that female students used the veil without any element of coercion so legally Islamic Shari'a is a sunnah thing for the reason of wanting to protect themselves

Abstract

This study discusses the uniqueness and meaning contained in the traditions of the circumcision of the apostle. The researcher uses the symbolic interaction theory developed by Herbert Blummer to analyze the meaning of Symbolic Interaction in the Unique Portrait of the Implementation of the Circumcision of the Apostles in Gampong Gunung Pudung, Kluet Utara, Aceh Selatan. Theoretically, symbolic interaction is a social life which is basically human interaction using symbols. So a symbol is not formed through mental coercion, it arises because the meaning is given by humans themselves. The type of research used by the researcher is qualitative and the focus of this research is intended to limit studies that can facilitate researchers in managing data which then becomes a conclusion according to the formulated problem. The results of this study indicate that there are several unique customs of circumcision of the apostle in Gampong Gunung Pudung which are very different from other areas such as hitting canangs, asking for money from close relatives, washing rice into the river, carrying on shoulders or being lifted on a stretcher, bathing in the river and swing chickens and now they still maintain their ancestral culture.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The approaches used are qualitative and quantitative approaches. It was carried out in two cycles, namely the first cycle consisting of 2 meetings, and the second cycle consisting of 1 meeting. Each cycle includes four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were teachers and students with a total of 20 students. The data source is the process and results of implementing integrated thematic learning with a make a match type cooperative model. The technique used is observation, tests, and non-tests that are observed are lesson plans, teacher aspects and student aspects. The results showed an increase in: a) RPP cycle I obtained an average of 78.75% with good qualifications (B), and cycle II obtained an average of 95% with very good qualifications (SB). b) Implementation in the teacher aspect of cycle I obtained an average of 78,08% good qualifications (B), and cycle II obtained an average of 96.8% very good qualifications (SB). c) Assessment of students in improving learning outcomes in the first cycle obtained an average of 79.65%, and the second cycle with an average of 93.75%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the cooperative model of the make a match type can improve student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning

Abstract

This article aimed to find out the influence of students’ perception and participation of Tadris English Department students toward Reading Comprehension learning during the Covid-19 Era at IAIN Padangsidimpuan. The data were collected through students’ perception questionnaires, students' participation questionnaires, and reading comprehension tests. This research was correlational research design using a quantitative method. The subject of the research was the students’ 2nd year English department programs at IAIN Padangsidimpuan. The research sample was taken by using Total population sampling. 65 students have been used as samples in this research. Simple linear regression and multiple regression formula were used to analyze the data. The research findings showed that first, there was a significant influence on students’ perception and their Students’ Reading Comprehension with a score (0.000 0.05). Second, there was a significant influence on students’ participation and reading comprehension with scores (0.000 0.05). Third, there was a significant influence between perception and participation on students reading comprehension with a score (0.000  0.05) at  IAIN Padangsidimpuan
