Abstract

Data presentation software is useful in presenting aerodynamics information for all stakeholders during a wind tunnel test execution. Development of such software in mobile devices, especially for displaying data in a real time manner, attracts the attention due to the promise in promoting the creation of more practical and more efficient test execution. Prototyping in Androidbased tablet and related test showed sufficient results to suggest further development of the prototype for the real application in the future. Abstract

Nutrition status for children was very core factor that need attention from their parent since they are toddlers. In this phase, parents had to know every nutrition that their babies need and nutrition status. For overcome this problem, this application was made. This application was made with fuzzy or perceptron method. This application need some input like weight, height, and age. This means nutrition status was affected by weight, height, and age of that child. If the calculation did by fuzzy method, this calculation will be easier to do, because fuzzy method was more simple so easier to understand. Perceptron method was more complex because this method needs learning some samples with actual data, so need training and testing phase before this application could be used properly. Abstract

This paper describes about one of the many extension of Optical Character Recognition (OCR), that is Optical Music Recognition (OMR). OMR is used to recognize musical sheets into digital format, such as MIDI or MusicXML. There are many musical symbols that usually used in musical sheets and therefore needs to be recognized by OMR, such as staff; treble, bass, alto and tenor clef; sharp, flat and natural; beams, staccato, staccatissimo, dynamic, tenuto, marcato, stopped note, harmonic and fermata; notes; rests; ties and slurs; and also mordent and turn. OMR usually has four main processes, namely Preprocessing, Music Symbol Recognition, Musical Notation Reconstruction and Final Representation Construction. Each of those four main processes uses different methods and algorithms and each of those processes still needs further development and research. There are already many application that uses OMR to date, but none gives the perfect result. Therefore, besides the development and research for each OMR process, there is also a need to a development and research for combined recognizer, that combines the results from different OMR application to increase the final result’s accuracy. Abstract

Nowadays, a large number of information can not be reached by the reader because of the misclassification of text-based documents. The misclassified data can also make the readers obtain the wrong information. The method which is proposed by this paper is aiming to classify the documents into the correct group. Each document will have a membership value in several different classes. The method will be used to find the degree of similarity between the two documents is the semantic similarity. In fact, there is no document that doesn’t have a relationship with the other but their relationship might be close to 0. This method calculates the similarity between two documents by taking into account the level of similarity of words and their synonyms. After all inter-document similarity values obtained, a matrix will be created. The matrix is then used as a semi-supervised factor. The output of this method is the value of the membership of each document, which must be one of the greatest membership value for each document which indicates where the documents are grouped. Classification result computed by the method shows a good value which is 90 %. Index Terms - Fuzzy co-clustering, Heuristic, Semantica Similiarity, Semi-supervised learning.

Abstract

This study discusses about the features on healthy food, especially for people with chronic diseases such as patients with diabetes, obesity, hypertension, heart, liver cirrhosis, ulcers, tuberculosis, lung cancer, gout and kidney. The purpose of this research is to implement the Rete’s algorithm on healthy food recommendation application that everyone who has a less than ideal body weight and who suffers a chronic illness get food recommendations that can help the healing process. This study involves an expert, the specialist dietician who practices in hospitals. The result of this study is that users can get recommendations tailored healthy foodstuffs with his/her illness. Abstract

Wind tunnel test in Indonesian Low Speed Tunnel required a supportive information system which be able to monitor various test activities and record numerous test conditions in an integrated manner. The software of such information system is engineered to realize information technology based support into the test execution through rapid cycles of analysis, design and implementation phases. Abstract

Delivery of goods will normally be conducted in accordance with the queuing time of booking. Sometimes, it is inefficient and results in a delay on the delivery of goods. Therefore, to make a better scheduling system, the Shortest Job First and Round Robin algorithms been implemented. From the results of experiments, Shortest Job First and Round Robin algorithms successfully applied to the scheduling delivery application. Shortest Job First algorithm is better than Round Robin scheduling in the case of delivery of goods, because the algorithm execution process which takes small time will be moved before the process which takes much time, so it needs smaller time than using Round Robin algorithm. Abstract

As more sophisticated the technology, it will give a harder challenge for the libraries to fulfill their patrons requirement. For the sake of a great technology experience, library of Universitas Multimedia Nusantara is trying to adopt QR Code technology and geolocation method into it’s system. User who has a QR Code to be scanned will share their activities, such as read and borrow. Users can also do a check-in if they do not want to scan a QR Code. After dealing with QR Code, the application will provide users with the location where a QR Code was scanned. A variety of a scan distance will impact to the variety of the point or reward those users can achieve. There are also several things to be done that could enhanced the accuracy of the location finder, like comparing the result between GPS provider and Network provider based on certain variable (time and accuracy) and displaying both the results to the user so they can choose their own preference because of some factors that could cause an inconsistency while finding location is executed like mobile signal, amount of cell tower, and location of user. Abstract

In this paper discussed a case study of the development of a website review . The discussion of this case study is limited to the implementation and use of the five steps in the development FDD review website . Moreover it is not a discussion of such budget , personal develomnent , the success rate of software , and others . That reviews are steps in the development of the system , ie develop an overall model of phase , build a feature list , plan by features , design by features , build by feature . Conclusions that can be drawn from this discussion is the Feature Driven Development successfully used for software development carried out by the team , which will produce a good system . FDD will also make the user comfortable , where there is an attractive feature to assist companies in doing business . FDD does not focus on how to design a system that is considered costly and time. However , FDD prioritize how to execute a project with a faster and more efficient despite the implementation of the use of this method requires a lot of qualified human resources.
