Abstract

Conservatism is looking at everything from a religious perspective. In talking about science and education, it tends to flow purely normative and religious. Because of interpreting the reality of the universe stems from religious teachings, then all that concerns about learning, sharing of knowledge, ethics teachers and students and other educational component must originate from the religion teaching. The purpose of religion is the purpose of learning. This course is also to narrow the science space as saying that the science that must be learned only science-oriented and beneficial to the afterlife. Rational Religious flow was represented by a group of Ikhwan al-Safa. According to the Ikhwan al-Safa, the purpose of seeking knowledge is to know themselves, but the ultimate goal. As a philosophy of education, progressivism is evolved from the philosophy of pragmatism Charles S. Pierce, William James and John Dewey. But it is more important than John dewey. Dewey regarded as adherents of instrumental or eksperimental. Dewey firmly believe that education should be pragmatic and is associated with the lives of their students. He said: "Education is life, not preparation for life".

Abstract

Guidance and counseling is very instrumental in helping students achieve education. The students need to be guided, so that they can optimize its potential. Learning problems are important problems. This  was proved from a result of research at several schools in Yogyakarta, which indicated that the difficulties in learning to be a problem that is most prominent among the problems faced by students. The difficulties that was experienced by learners psychologically are academic delays, very slow in learning as a result of having inadequate intelligence, poor habit in learning and unhealthy emotional mental. The way to identify students’ learning disabilities are through behavior, and through the analysis of learning achievement.

Abstract

One of the problems in the world of education in Indonesia highlighted that many people are of quality problems or quality. Quality of education is of course related to learning. However, reality shows that  a lot of the students did not achieve expected maximum learning because there are several factors that influence them, which are; the influence of close friends, economic status, encouragement of parents, facilities and infrastructure. On the other hand the dynamics of what happens to the students showed clearly the tendency of students to disinterest in science studies. This paper presented: a. Difficulty in learning influenced by; 1) internal factors; intelligence factors and interest, 2) external factors; family and community factors. While solutions to reduce the difficulty of learning are as follows; 1) provides tutoring, 2) generate interest in students to learn the lessons that follow, 3) information service, 4) placement services, and 5) counseling services.

Abstract

To achieve the success of education, teachers should be the human resources (HR) which the development is main priorities. Hard competiton increasingly nowadays requires tenacity, patience, the ability to anticipate, speed and accuracy to think and act in order to remain a role. Education personnel are those who meet the requirements specified in the legislation in force, appointed by the competent authority and entrusted with the task of other countries, defined by something the legislation in force. The development of educational staff can be done with a path or way of training and track non-training, track training such as continuing education, upgrading, seminars, workshops, etc., track non training for example can be in the form of promotions, bonuses and incentives, reprimands and punishment.

Abstract

Science of Nahwu is recognized as a discipline that is loaded with a variety of rules and theories, as the result of a process of a long journey in the history of Arabic linguistics. Starting from the codification and systemization activities of Arabic vocabulary is quite time consuming, then linguists (al-Lughawiyyûn / linguist) construct and lay the basic principles of the rules of the language. The basic principles of nahwu at first is  very simple then evolved into a "science" which is very complicated and cumbersome. Nahwu is no longer just functions as a deductive rule or a grammar, but it also has become one of the instruments to understand the Qur'an itself, which in turn gave rise to many theories nahwu developed by experts nahwu (nuhât / Grammarian). This, of course, more difficult to understand and learn the science of Nahwu itself. For the purposes of education and teaching that is deemed necessary rethinking and renewal (tajdid) in the field of teaching and teaching nahwa materials simplification.

Abstract

To get good understanding of reading, the students can use skimming, reading quickly without missing important points. However, some students still do not know how to do skimming effectively, even in ESP context, because they still use the tradional one. This paper discussed about metacognitive skimming strategy to increase students understanding towards long articles. The steps of the strategy are (1). provide them with ten pages articles and ask them to read, (2). Stop them while just reading two or three paragraphs, (3). Take opportunity of their confussions to explain about why they read this, (4). Extend the discussion to show that how people read is closely connected to why they read, (5). Then ask them to  speculate on the purposes of reading texts in science and how these purposes may influence the way they approach the technical reading material, and (6). Discuss how skimming can be used in the research context. It hopes that by using this strategy the students could read long text by considering the purpose of reading itself especially in ESP context.

Abstract

Over the past three decades, the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) has become one of the most dominant approaches in the field of ESL or EFL teaching in many countries around the world, including Indonesia. The aims of this study were threefold: (a) to investigate Indonesian EFL teachers’ theoretical perceptions of CLT, (b) to look at whether the teachers have implemented CLT in the classroom, and (c) to identify difficulties the teachers face in implementing CLT. The participants in the study were 7 Indonesian EFL teachers who were pursuing their study in TESOL and Foreign Language Teaching program at the University of Canberra. Thirty-item questionnaires were used for data collection. The results of the study revealed that the teachers involved in this study generally had considerably good understanding of principles and activities of CLT. Most of the teachers also reported thatthey have implemented CLT in their classrooms even though many of them still maintained activities of traditional approaches. The results also revealed that all of the teachers face some constraints in implementing CLT activities in their classrooms. Among the most common constraints include low English proficiency of the students, large classrooms, and lack of sources.

Abstract

The law of pre-Islamic pagan racist, feudal and patriarchal, Islamic appear to bring changes to the character of law as opposed to pagan law. Islam teaches equality is reflected in the principles and laws as well as the behavior of the Prophet Muhammad and his followers who want the egalitarian life. Quraish against Islam conflict is closely linked to the religious aspect and the social aspect is a counter to the egalitarian system of Islamic law. And by implication, the understanding of Islamic law must be followed by the realization that Islamic law has egalitarian character and it is a social change of the law that are not egalitarian Jahiliyyah be egalitarian Islamic law Hukum Jahiliyyah pra-Islam yang rasialis, feodal dan patriarkhis, Islam lahir dan muncul dengan membawa perubahan hukum dengan karakter yang bertolak belakang dengan hukum Jahiliyyah. Islam mengajarkan kesetaraan yang tergambar dari prinsip-prinsip dan hukum-hukumnya serta perilaku Nabi Muhamad Saw beserta para pengikutnya yang menghendaki adanya kehidupan egaliter. Pertentangan Quraisy terhadap Islam yang berkaitan erat dengan aspek keagamaan dan aspek sosial merupakan suatu kontra terhadap sistem hukum Islam yang egaliter. Dan sebagai implikasinya, pemahaman terhadap hukum Islam harus diikuti dengan kesadaran bahwa hukum Islam itu memiliki karakter egaliter dan hal tersebut merupakan sebuah perubahan social dari hukum Jahiliyyahyang tidak egaliter menjadi hukum Islam yang egaliter.

Abstract

According to Islamic law, the despair and the end of a marriage in a conjugal situation can occur at the instance of her husband through divorce. While the conclusion of a marriage is the will of the husband and wife can occur through curses, that the oath taken spouses in which there is the curse of God if the statement is not true with respect to his vow husband alleged that his wife had committed adultery with another man. The allegations in the absence of witnesses, as required for the issue of adultery four witnesses. My husband Saw his wife admitted having sexual relations with another person, whereas witness Saw the act of adultery, the wife or husband denies and says that for several months did not have sexual relations with a variety of reasons. Under the provisions of article 162 is a common thread that can be taken by the husband and wife do li'an each other, then there was a break between them for ever. Children conceived following his mother.Menurut syari’at Islam, putus asa dan berakhirnya suatu perkahwinan dalam keadaan suami-istri dapat terjadi atas kehendak suami melalui talak. Sedangkan berakhirnya suatu perkawinan atas kehendak suami juga isteri dapat terjadi melalui li’an, yaitu sumpah yang dilakukan suami atau isteri yang didalamnya terdapat pernyataan sikap dilaknat Allah jika sumpahnya tidak benar sehubungan dengan tuduhan suami bahwa isterinya telah berbuat zina dengan laki-laki lain.Tuduhan itu tanpa kehadiran saksi, seperti disyaratkan untuk masalah perzinaan yaitu empat orang saksi. Suami mengaku menyaksikan isterinya melakukan hubungan seksual dengan orang lain, sebagailayaknya saksi menyaksikan perbuatan zina, atau suami mengingkari kandungan isterinya dan mengatakan bahwa selama sekian bulan tidak pernah melakukan hubungan seksual dengan berbagai alasan. Berdasarkan ketentuan pasal 162 tersebut dapat diambil benang merah bahwa suami-isteri saling melakukan li’an, maka terjadilah perpisahan antara keduanya untuk selama-lamanya.  Anak yang dikandung dimasabkan kepada ibunya

Abstract

Normally, the position of the human person with all the rights of the most fundamental has gained recognition in the Declaration and the International Covenants. Human rights have become values and norms in international relations. This is shown by the agreement of all countries, at least in countries that are members of the United Nations to the United Nations Charter, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948). Islam as a religion and its teachings are universal and comprehensive, encompassing faith, worship, and mu'amalat, each of which contains the doctrine of the faith; religious dimension to the teachings of the mechanisms of human devotion to God; with either the doctrine of man's relationship with fellow humans and to the environment. Each dimension is based on the teachings of the provisions referred to by the term Sharia or Islamic jurisprudence. In the context of law or jurisprudence there are teachings on Human Rights (HAM). The existence of the doctrine of human rights in Islam shows that Islam as a religion has placed man as honorable and noble creatures. Therefore, the protection and respect for the human being is the claim of Islam itself must be carried out by Muslims against fellow human beings without exception.Secara normatif, kedudukan pribadi manusia dengan segala hak-haknya yang paling asasi telah memperoleh pengakuan dalam Deklarasi dan Kovenan-kovenan internasional. Hak-hak asasi manusia telah menjadi nilai dan norma dalam hubungan internasional. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh persetujuan semua negara, setidak-tidaknya negara-negara yang menjadi anggota PBB terhadap piagam PBB, Deklarasi Universal tentang Hak-Hak Asasi Manusia (1948).Islam sebagai sebuah agama dengan ajarannya yang universal dan komprehensif meliputi akidah, ibadah, dan mu’amalat, yang masing-masing memuat ajaran tentang keimanan; dimensi ibadah memuat ajaran tentang mekanisme  pengabdian manusia terhadap Allah; dengan memuat ajaran tentang  hubungan manusia dengan sesama manusia maupun dengan alam sekitar. Kesemua demensi ajaran tersebut dilandasi oleh ketentuan-ketentuan yang disebut dengan istilah syari’ah atau fikih.Dalam konteks syari’at atau fikih itulah terdapat ajaran tentang Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM).Adanya ajaran tentang HAM dalam Islam menunjukkan bahwa Islam sebagai agama telah menempatkan manusia sebagai makhluk terhormat dan mulia.Karena itu, perlindungan dan penghormatan terhadap manusia merupakan tuntutan dari ajaran Islam itu sendiri yang wajib dilaksanakan oleh umatnya terhadap sesama manusia tanpa kecuali.
