Abstract

 In a heterogenic   country.   such  as Indonesia,   an  intercultural   marriageis  always  possible.   Many  data  reveal   that  intercultural   marriages  potentially are   more   troubled   than   marriages   of  the  same   culture.    Leslie  Baxter   and Montgomery   s  theory  ( 1998)  on relational   dialectics  analyzed   the strains   that are  conjoined    in  a  romantic   relationship.   ·        Those  are   internal  and   external·    dialectics.    In this  research   the relational   dialectics   theory   was studied   in thecultural  context  marriages  between  the Sundanese  and Arabs.  The aim  of the research    was   to:   1)   get   the  knowledge    about   internal-external     relational dialectics     of   intercultural    couples,     2)   get   the   understanding     about       the experiences   of the couples  in connect ion  to intercultural   dialectics  and  3) get the  understanding    on  how  those  couples   overcome  the  intercultural   dialectics they  face    in  their  marriage   on  the  internal   and  external   scope.    From   this research   it can be concluded  that internal  and external  dialectics  are  tended  to be  sourced    by  cultural   difference   of  each  couple.      The  most  conspicuous dialectics    of  those  couples   were  caused   by  the  individuals·    competence    or incompetence    to  predict    their  spouses    culture   or  surroundings.

When communications tools fungcition at their best, they can go beyond mere facilitation to transformations. Suchwas the case at rosen law firm.based in releigh, north caroline.Lee rosen, the firms owner and chief executive,wanted to replace an expensive, complicate and inflexible computer system that employees relied on for everythingfrom contact list to appointmen calenders to document stroge.the solution he chose for his small law firm was awiki, the same technology that enable nearly 100.000 people around thw world to contribute to Wikipedia.Thewiki certainly helped cut costs and it also did much more. In addition to handling much of the firms documentstorage and formal communication, the wiki introduced an informal social element that is helping employeesbond as a community.many employees have added personal page with information about themselves, helpingemployess get to know their collagues on more intimate level in implementasi the wiki,rosen faced a commonchallenge whit new communications tools,getting people to give up familiar ways of doing things and embracechange.knowing that the value of a company wiki depends on the level of employee contribution and that havingsome of the staff swicht while others cling to old ways would seriously discrupt communication he encouraged usethe new wiki with a friendly competition. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara komunikasi antarpribadi pimpinan dengan motivasi kerja karyawan di Astra Mobil88 Kalimalang Jakarta Timur. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitianini adalah Teori Komunikasi antarpribadi dan Teori motivasi kerja, Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksplanatif kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi dan sampel penelitian sebanyak 40 orang. Hipotesis pengujian dilakukan dengan korelasi Pearson Product Moment.Dari data-data yang diperoleh, selanjutnya analisis data yang dilakukan dengan hitungan secara statistik, menggunakan rumus Pearson Product Moment Correlations, korelasi ini termasuk kedalam kategori cukup baik padatingkat hubungan yang sedang, karena berada pada interval koefisien antara 0.40 – 0.599 yang menghasilkan adanya hubungan komunikasi antarpribadi pimpinan dengan motivasi kerja karyawan bagian appraiser di AstraMobil88 cabang Kalimalang Jakarta Timur.

Undoubtedly   humor    and   laughing    are   essential   parts   of  what  if  is  to  be human.   All humor  is fundamentally  human   activity.  Humor  is one  of the  most important form  of  creative  human   communication   and  expressive  culture/  yet the   formal   study   of   humor   and   ifs  social   consequences   has   not   enjoyed widespread   popularity.     Humor    literature    can    be    split   info    two    broad categories:    (a)  why   individuals    use   humor   (mofivafional!y/psychological/y)and  (b) the function  humor   within a social  setting  on society  (sociologically)
