Cakrawala Dini is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes different kinds of scientific articles based on the research-article and ideas-article. All topics that we received only articles relating to early childhood education fields. For research category, articles can be written using quantitative and qualitative approaches, and can be made in a variety of research designs, such as action research, experiments, and case studies. This journal was published since 2012 twice a year every May and November, and published by the Indonesia University of Education Cibiru Campus, Early Childhood Education Teacher Education study program. APG PAUD Indonesia (Memorandum of Understanding No. 093/UN40.K1/HK.07/2022), and PPJ PAUD Indonesia (Memorandum of Understanding No. 009/PPJ-PAUD/I/2020). All the articles published in this journal have a unique DOI number with a prefix 10.17509.

Abstract

Abstract:. This study aims to reveal implementation of social and religious values, at TK Kartini III Gilingan.This research is used qualitative approach. The data analysis used the descriptive analysis. The subject consists of the principal, teachers, and students of TK Kartini 03 Gilingan. The data collection is  through interviews, observation, and documentation.  The aspects of this research consist of learning materials, educators, methods, development of implementation, and the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of social and religious values.The results show that, first the learning methods used for the implementation of social and religious values is storytelling, habituation, and singing, but the method actually applied in the implementation of social and religious values is only the habituation method. Second, learning materials used refers to Permendikbud 146 Year 2014. Of all the basic competencies written in Permendikbud 146 Year 2014, only few learning materials are developed. Third school environments are the most important factors, because the school is close to the localization area which has bad effects on children. Parents and educators expect cooperation programs from the local government and residents for a good management of the localization so as to provide the children a conducive environment.Keywords: religious and social values, learning activities

Abstract

Abstract:. Indonesia is a country prone to natural disasters. The impact of a natural disaster can happen to anyone, be it adults or younger children. Especially for young children to natural disasters is a phenomenon that is less biased understood by children, so if a natural disaster that happens the child will be prone to trauma. Trauma experienced by early children can handled, one of them using play therapy. Types of play activities that can be using for play therapy is the traditional game. This study aims to: (1)develop the design of traditional games model for post-disaster trauma healing in early childhood and (2) knowing the appropriate by expert of the traditional games model for post-disaster trauma healing in early childhood. This type of research is the research and development (R D). Using ADDIE development model, but in this study reached the stage 3 are: analyze, design and development. The technique of collecting data used interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis used quantitative analysis using the average as a measure to determine the quality of the product. Based on the evaluation of materials and media experts result to the feasibility of the media obtained an average score 3.09 (good) and the appropriateness of the material obtained a score of 3.9 (very good).Keyword: trauma healing, early childhood, traditional games, natural disaster, play therapy Abstrak: Indonesia merupakan negara yang rawan terjadi bencana alam. Dampak terjadinya bencana alam dapat terjadi pada siapa saja, baik itu orang dewasa maupun anak usia dini. Terutama bagi anak usia dini bencana alam merupakan fenomena yang kurang bias dipahami oleh anak sehingga jika bencana alam itu terjadi anak akan rentan terkena trauma. Trauma yang dialami oleh anak usia dini dapat ditangani, salah satunya dengan menggunakan terapi bermain. Jenis kegiatan bermain yang dapat digunakan untuk play terapi yaitu permainan tradisional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengembangkan desain model permainan tradisional untuk trauma healing pasca bencana pada anak usia dini dan (2) mengetahui kelayakan model permainan tradisional untuk trauma healing pasca bencana pada anak usia din. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research Development). Model pengembangan menggunakan ADDIE, namun dalam penelitian ini sampai pada tahap 3 yaitu: analyze, design dan development. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan wawancara dan angket. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dengan menggunakan rata-rata sebagai ukuran untuk mengetahui kualitas produk. Berdasarkan penilaian dari ahli materi dan media diperoleh hasil untuk kelayakan media diperoleh skor rata-rata 3.09 (baik) dan kelayakan materi diperoleh skor 3.9 (sangat baik).Kata Kunci: trauma healing, anak usia dini, permainan tradisional, bencana alam, terapi bermain

Abstract

Abstract:. One of the principle in pre-school education is play-based learning. This research utilizes technology to develop computer games based media learning for pre-schoolers. We are used Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) to develop this application. There are six stages in this sistem development method; these six steps include concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. These media have five features using Indonesian language, there are riddles games, simple counting games, drawing menu, words construct game and coloring menu. This media learning game was implemented to fifteen preschool students with an age range between 3-5 years with their teacher accompaniment. The result showed that this application could be used as an alternative media learning for the student and the teacher of preschool to develop the children creativity and competencies.Keyword: educational game, pre-schoolers Abstrak: Salah satu prinsip pelaksanaan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD)  yaitu belajar melalui bermain atau bermain seraya belajar. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan teknologi untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran anak berbasis aplikasi permainan. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah metodologi Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) yang terdiri dari enam tahap, yaitu perumusan konsep (concept), perancangan (design), pengumpulan materi (material collecting), pembuatan (assembly), pengujian (testing), dan pendistribusian (distribution). Aplikasi permainan edukatif berbahasa Indonesia ini memiliki 5 (lima) fitur yang dapat dimainkan secara acak antara lain, Menu Tebak-tebakkan, Menu Berhitung, Menu Menggambar, Menu Susun kata, dan Menu Mewarnai. Aplikasi ini diuji-coba pada 15 (lima belas) orang siswa PAUD berusia 3-5 Tahun dengan bimbingan para tenaga pendidik. Aplikasi permainan ini dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran alternatif pembelajaran guru dan siswa Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) dalam mengembangkan kreativitas dan kompetensi anak.Kata Kunci: permainan edukatif, PAUD

Abstract

Early childhood is the important stage entire human life-span. Early writing and reading in early childhood is the one of critical aspect to develop. Teachers should improve the environment which support to the children in literacy. The objective of this study is to describe the obstacles of early childhood teachers to develop reading and writing center for the children. This study used qualitative method which involved 27 early childhood teachers in East Jakarta. Purpossive sampling method was used, while data analyze used Miles and Huberman technique to data reduction, data display, and verification. This study revealed the experience of early childhood teacher obstacles to develop reading and writing center. It include the obstacle of preparing media of reading and writing, difficultes to manage play environment, improve library center, creating an appropriate book for children, and developing media for listening activities.

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Upaya pelaksanaan kegiatan menggulung, menggunting, menempel  (3M) anak usia 5-6 tahun melalui kegiatan bermain kertas kokoru, (2) mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan  3M anak dalam bermain kertas kokoru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, yang terdiri dua variabel, yakni Implementasi Kegiatan 3M dan kertas kokoru. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan (1) teknik observasi (2) teknik wawancara dan (3) teknik dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) upaya pelaksanaan kegiatan  3M anak melalui kegiatan bermain kertas kokoru di Kelompok B1 di PAUD Seroja Iman adalah memperkenalkan kertas kokoru kepada anak, memperkenalkan cara bermain kertas kokoru kepada anak, mengajarkan langkah-langkah bermain kertas kokoru kepada anak, dari upaya itu anak yang memiliki minat bermain kertas kokoru menggunakan teknik 3M berjumlah 7 orang dari 8 orang anak (2) faktor-faktor yang dapat memperngaruhi minat anak dalam bermain kertas kokoru terdapat 3 faktor yaitu ketersediaannya warna kertas kokoru yang disukai anak, ketersediaannya buku tutorial bermain kertas kokoru yang berisi buah-buhan, binatang, atau tokoh kartun yang anak sukai, dan buah-buhan, binatang, atau tokoh kartun yang mereka lihat saat dirumah dijadikan objek dalam kegiatan bermain kertas kokoru.Kata Kunci : Implementasi, Kegiatan 3M, Kertas Kokoru

Abstract

This research aims to see results of the development of the Kuda Bisik traditional game to improve the vocabulary of children in group B. The type of development used is to adapt development type of borg gall which has been simplified into 3 main stages namely; needs analysis; product design; and product trials. test subjects using 10 children in limited trials and 22 children from 2 schools with name Ummi Adniyah Pancor Kindergarten and Hamzanwadi Pancor Kindergarten. Data collection techniques used were observation; tests and documentation with instruments used observation sheets; product validation sheet; and test. The analysis technique uses the percentage of test results of learning outcomes with a classical success rate of 75%. The results of his research are in the initial trials of the product in the form of a Kuda Bisik media game well implemented. while the initial field of the 22 samples used from the two schools described the results of observations of the use of Kuda Bisik products to increase vocabulary of children, which began to develop as expected (BSH) by 7 people or with a percentage of 32% and 15 children or 62% is very well developed (BSB), and learning outcomes tests found 8 children or 36% developed as expected, and 14 children or 64% of children developed so well that the Kuda Bisik product was able to improve the vocabulary children age 5-6 years old

Abstract

Abstract: Study aims to determine the effectiveness of methods with gardening activities to the skills of early childhood science process. The method used is Quasi Eksperimen with the design of the Nonequivalent Control Group Design study. This research was conducted on group B in Kartika Siliwangi XIX-I Kindergarten and Pelita Bunda Gegerkalong Kindergarten Bandung with 15 experimental group and 15 control group. The research data was obtained using research instrument in the form of non-formal interview and observation guidance of science process skill of children aged 5-6 years. Based on the results of the research, the initial conditions in the experimental group showed that children with low science process skills were 67%, while in the control group were 60%. Implementation of science learning using gardening activities in improving the science process skills of kindergarten children group B developed well. This can be seen from the results of the study on the learning process recorded for the experimental group as much as 97% and in the control group as much as 85%. Recommendations submitted to Kindergarten Teachers who will conduct science-based learning of the science process should be created a whole learning scenario that illustrates clear instructions on the steps of children's learning activities sequentially from beginning to end. For the next researcher, the result of this research can be used as the starting point to develop the learning process of children science skill of kindergarten, and for the school party, it is better to start using learning science process skill in school by adding media that can support learning, facilities and infrastructure to support the success of process skill science in school.Keywords: Skills Process of Science, Gardening Activities, Kindergarten Children
