Abstract

This paper presents about the interpretation of symbols that are formed in all activities in Islamic boarding schools, where the use of these symbols has a deep meaning in religious aspects, especially in building a positive image of Islamic boarding school, until it can attract public confidence in the implementation of education and learning inside of it. The symbols formed are the creations, works, and initiatives of Islamic boarding school residents, as the basic of their social behavior and actions. This research uses a qualitative with case study, with a research site at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid, Paiton, Probolinggo, East Java. The results showed that the symbols of social interaction at Islamic boarding school has own attraction. The harmony of Islamic boarding school residents in their behavior and the meaning that contained by islamic values. Syimbol which is showed through the behavior of Islamic boardin school residents is including to the part of religious image which has function as society’s aid to recognize religious life of islamic boarding school residents well, until it can be formed positive image for Islamic boarding school persistence. Hence, symbol as media to show religious image can increase positive image which is pointed to society’s trust toward education persistence at Islamic boarding school.  Tulisan ini menyajikan tentang interprestasi simbol-simbol yang terbentuk pada seluruh aktivitas yang ada di pondok pesantren, di mana penggunaan simbol tersebut memiliki makna yang mendalam dalam aspek religious, khususnya dalam membangun citra positif pesantren, sehingga mampu menarik kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap pelaksanaan pendidikan dan pembelajaran di dalamnya. Simbol yang terbentuk merupakan cipta, karya dan karsa warga pondok pesantren, sebagai basis perilaku dan tindakan sosialnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus, dengan situs penelitian di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid, Paiton, Probolinggo, Jawa Timur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa simbol-simbol dalam interaksi sosial pondok pesantren memiliki daya tarik sendiri. Keselarasan warga pondok pesantren dalam berperilaku melalui simbol-simbol tertentu, disebabkan karena penyesuain perilaku dengan makna yang terkandung dalam nilai-nilai Islam. Simbol yang ditampilkan melalui perilaku warga pondok pesantren, termasuk bagian dari imaji religious yang berfungsi membantu masyarakat mengenal dengan baik kehidupan religious pondok pesantren, sehingga akan membentuk citra positif bagi keberlangsungan pendidikan di pondok pesantren. Dengan demikian, simbol sebagai media untuk menunjukkan imaji regious, mampu meningkatkan citra positif pondok pesantren yang berujung pada kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap keberlangsungan pendidikan di pondok pesantren.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to explain the school’s cultural values in fostering religious activities. This research took place in public elementary school 5 Mendo Barat. The research method used is descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection techniques used are structured and unstructured interviews, observation, and documentation to obtain relevant data. The subjects of this study were the principal, teacher, and students. The results of this study include: 1) Inculcation of school cultural values such as shame culture, religious culture, responsibility literacy culture, and culture of respect for people who are young or older.2) Implementation 0f fostering religious activities in public elementary school 5 Mendo Barat. 3) Advantages and disadvantages of carrying out religious activities public elementary school 5 Mendo Barat is like the cultivation of religious knowledge in children from an early age is very good. This study found that school cultural values in the fostering of religious activities have been instilled early on by every teacher to students well where they have been taught religious habituation and the inculcation of school cultural values to from learners with character and noble character. Tujuan penelitianmenjelaskan tentang nilai-nilai budaya sekolah dalam pembinaan aktivitas keagamaan, penelitian ini mengambil lokasi di SD Negeri 5 Mendo Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni wawancara terstruktur dan tidak terstruktur, observasi dan dokumentasi agar memperoleh data yang relevan. subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian ini diantaranya: 1) Penanaman nilai-nilai budaya sekolah seperti budaya malu, budaya religious, tanggung jawab, budaya literasi, dan budaya menghormati orang yang muda maupun yang lebih tua. 2) Pelaksanaan Pembinaan aktivitas keagamaan di SD Negeri 5 Mendo Barat 3) Kelebihan dan kekurangan aktivitas keagamaan SD Negeri 5 Mendo Barat yakni seperti penanaman ilmu agama kepada anak sejak usia dini sangat baik. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa nilai-nilai budaya sekolah dalam pembinaan aktivitas keagamaan telah di tanamkan sejak dini oleh setiap guru terhadap peserta didik dengan baik dimana telah di ajarkan pembiasaan keagamaan dan penanaman nilai budaya sekolah sehingga dapat membentuk peserta didik yang berkarakter dan berakhlak mulia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the curriculum structure of the PAI subjects at MTs Plus Karangwangi Subang. The type of research used is qualitative research. While the techniques in data collection are through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study are in the MTs Plus Karangwangi curriculum adding hours and PAI subject matter from the number of hours and materials set by the government in the 2013 curriculum, as an effort to mature students in understanding the teachings of Islam.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur kurikulum mata pelajaran PAI di MTs Plus Karangwangi Subang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Sedangkan teknik dalam pengumpulan data yaitu melalui wawancara, observasi (pengamatan), dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu dalam kurikulum MTs Plus Karangwangi menambahkan jam dan materi pelajaran PAI dari jumlah jam dan materi yang sudah ditetapkan oleh pemerintah dalam kurikulum 2013, hal ini sebagai upaya dalam rangka mematangkan siswa dalam memahami ajaran Agama Islam.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the method of learning marktet place in PAI learning. This type of research uses a qualitative field research approach with descriptive analytical research methods. Data collection techniques are done by interview, observation and documentation..com The results of this study explain the PAI learning design using market place-oriented methods in the 2013 curriculum type of specific approach, the learning implementation consists of the planning, implementation and assessment stages, the evaluation of PAI learning using market place methods reaches 85% KKM, the supporting factors of this method are school leadership , support parents, teacher skills and support parents. While the inhibiting factors include differences in student characteristics, feelings of doubt, shame, require a long time and irrelevant student answers, the advantages of this method can increase participation, activeness, independence, student learning discipline and have a democratic attitude, the effectiveness of this method is achieved by good in learning PAI at SMPN 13 Bandung.Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan metode belajar marktet place dalam pembelajaran PAI. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif lapangan dengan metode penelitian desktriptif analitis. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan desain pembelajaran PAI menggunakan metode market place berorientasi pada kurikulum 2013 berjenis pendakatan santifik, implementasi pembelajaran ini terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan penilaian, evaluasi pembelajaran PAI menggunakan metode market place mencapai KKM 85%, faktor pendukung metode ini adalah kepemimpinan sekolah, dukungna orang tua, kemampuan guru dan dukungna orang tua. Sedangkan faktor penghambat di antaranya perbedaan karakteristik siswa,  perasaan ragu, rasa malu, membetuhkan waktu yang panjang dan jawaban siswa yang tidak relevan, keunggulan metode ini dapat meningkatkan partisipasi, keaktifan, kemandirian, kedisiplinan belajar siswa dan memiliki sikap demokratis, keefektifan metode ini tercapai dengan baik di dalam pembelajaran PAI di SMPN 13 Bandung.

Abstract

This article aims to investigate the process of implementation of character education within the learning curriculum. The essence of implementation of character education within formal education involves various parties simultaneously. The research method conducted is a qualitative approach with case study type. Data collection techniques were interviews, observation, and study of documentation. The results showed that the implementation of character education is the responsibility of all subjects that have been programmed through core competencies, the implementation of character education is carried out through exemplary and habituation processes, evaluation of character education is carried out by the test and non-test methods. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi proses implementasi pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai ajaran Islam dalam kurikulum pembelajaran. Pada esensinya pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter dalam pendidikan formal melibatkan berbagai pihak secara simultan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualittif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa implementasi pendidikan karakter menjadi tanggung jawab semua mata pelajaran yang sudah terprogram melalui kompetensi inti, pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter dilakukan melalui proses keteladanan dan pembiasaan, evaluasi pendidikan karakter dilakukan dengan metode test dan non test.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyses the learning of a soft-based PAI in students of PAI UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung and UIN Wali Songo Semarang. This type of research is descriptive analysis, a research method consists of interviews, observations and polls.  The results of this study showed that the learning of soft-based PAI students can form a high soft skill in the attitude aspects, communication aspects, ethical aspects and learning interaction aspects. The four aspects of the soft skill reinforce each other in forming a positive PAI student personality, so that PAI learning not only forms the hard skills but also establishes a strong soft PAI learning skill. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pembelajaran PAI berbasis soft skill mahasiswa PAI UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung dan UIN Wali Songo Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analisis, metode penelitian terdiri dari wawancara, observasi dan angket.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pembelajaran PAI berbasis soft skill mahasiswa PAI dapat membentuk soft skill yang tinggi pada aspek sikap, aspek komunikasi, aspek etika dan aspek interaksi belajar. Keempat aspek soft skill tersebut saling menguatkan dalam membentuk kepribadian mahasiswa PAI yang positif, sehingga pembelajaran PAI bukan hanya membentuk hard skill (pengetahuan) tetapi juga membentuk soft skill belajar PAI yang kuat .

Abstract

The development of human character and personality, especially students, is one of them through the tahsin and tahfizh programs. This study aims to find out how the tahsin and tahfizh unit program and the ability of tahsin, tahfizh students majoring in Mathematics and Natural Sciences and Islamic Education. This research method is a qualitative descriptive study with the subject of 2015 student research majoring in PAI and MIPA tarbiyah and teacher training faculties in one of the in a college in the city of Bandung.. The results of the research show that the activities of tahsin and tahfizh are managed by the tahsin and tahfizh units of the faculty by involving supervisors and examiners of tahsin and tahfizh, the ability of tahsin and tahfizh of PAI and MIPA students in the good category with an average of 83.51 and tahfizh 84, 16 Students really respond to the existence of the units of tahsin and tahfizh and do not object to the obligation to memorize juz 30 as a condition of the munaqosah exam.Pengembangan karakter dan kepribadian manusia khususnya mahasiswa, salah satunya melalui program tahsin dan tahfizh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana program unit tahsin dan tahfizh dan kemampuan tahsin, tahfizh mahasiswa jurusan MIPA dan PAI. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian mahasiswa angkatan 2015 jurusan PAI dan MIPA fakultas tarbiyah dan keguruan salah satu perguruan tinggi di Bandung. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan tahsin dan tahfizh dikelola oleh unit tahsin dan tahfizh fakultas dengan melibatkan dosen pembimbing dan penguji tahsin dan tahfizh, kemampaun tahsin dan tahfizh mahasiswa jurusan PAI dan MIPA pada kategori baik dengan rata-rata tahsin 83,51 dan tahfizh 84,16. Mahasiswa sangat merespon adanya unit tahsin dan tahfizh dan tidak keberatan dengan kewajiban menghapal juz 30 sebagai syarat sidang munaqosah.

Abstract

This article aims to get an effective learning model in learning to write Arabic letters for madrasah diniyah students. This research uses the Research and Development method with 76 research subjects as madrasah ibtidaiyah students. The results obtained indicate that the Mapan learning model is very effective in achieving goals and improving learning outcomes in writing Arabic letters for students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. During the implementation of the learning model only faces obstacles in the form of engineering learning facilities and infrastructure. Supporting factors which are the strengths of this learning model are the awakening of student learning participation, the learning model is easy to learn and implemented by teachers and students easily follow and capture learning material.Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan sebuah model pembelajaran yang efektif dalam pembelajaran menulis huruf Arab bagi siswa madrasah diniyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan subjek penelitian 76 orang siswa madrasah ibtidaiyah. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Mapan sangat efektif dalam mencapai tujuan dan peningkatan hasil pembelajaran dalam menulis huruf Arab bagi siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Selama implementasi model pembelajaran hanya menghadapi kendala berupa rekayasa sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran. Faktor pendudukung  yang menjadi kelebihan model pembelajaran ini yaitu membangkitkan partisipasi belajar siswa, model pembelajaran mudah dipelajari dan dilaksanakan oleh para guru dan siswa mudah mengikuti dan menangkap materi pembelajaran.

Abstract

The study aims to find out the moral difference between boarding students and non-dorm students. This research is a quantitative study with a comparative design of two free variables with survey research design. Poll instruments are disseminated with the provisions of accidental sampling techniques. The results showed that the quality of the boarding school students received a total score of 95.14 with an average of 3.8 and a percentage worth 76%. Meanwhile, the quality of non-dorm students get a total score of 91 with an average of 3.64, a percentage worth 73%. Comparative quality of dormitory students with non-dormitories only 3%. Then the hypotheses submitted correspond to the results of the study, although not reaching a significant level. This shows the role that dormitories have very few positive impacts and increasing student morality is no easy thing. Because of moral enhancement even in the slightest level it is invaluable to be safeguarded and to add hope to improve the student's moral potential better and still many aspects that can be improved through the boarding system. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan akhlak antara siswa berasrama dengan siswa non asrama. Penelitian ini merupakan peneltian kuantitatif dengan jenis rancangan komparatif dua variabel bebas dengan desain penelitian survei. Instrumen angket yang disebarkan dengan ketentuan teknik sampling aksidental. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kualitas akhlak siswa berasrama mendapatkan skor total 95,14 dengan rata-rata 3,8 dan persentase senilai 76%. Sementara itu, kualitas akhlak siswa non-asrama mendapatkan skor total  91 dengan  rata-rata 3,64, persentase senilai 73%. Kualitas perbandingan akhlak siswa asrama dengan non-asrama hanya 3%. Maka hipotesis yang diajukan sesuai dengan hasil penelitian, walaupun tidak mencapai taraf yang signifikan. Hal ini menunjukan peran asrama memiliki dampak positif yang sangat sedikit dan meningkatkan akhlak siswa bukanlah perkara mudah. Sebab peningkatan akhlak walaupun dalam taraf yang sedikit itu sangat berharga untuk dijaga serta menambah harapan untuk meningkatkan potensi akhlak siswa lebih baik lagi, serta masih banyak aspek yang bisa ditingkatkan melalui sistem asrama.

Abstract

This study aims: 1) to provide a description of curriculum planning, 2) the implementation of the pesantren curriculum, 3) the evaluation of the pesantren curriculum, in the perspective of the social reconstruction curriculum. This research was conducted because the PPI curriculum number 110 has the characteristic of translating the implementation of learning consciously to form a critical person and be able to make students as pioneers in social sustainability in the pesantren environment and beyond. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The research design involved the triagulation method with interviews with the dipesantren steakholders, the madrasah head, deputy head of the curriculum, madrasa aliyah teachers, study of curriculum documentation, and observations of learning at the pesantren. The results of the study, curriculum planning in the pesantren in the perspective of social reconstruction have not included planning criteria in view of social reconstruction, curriculum implementation in the pesantren in the perspective of social reconstruction there is a revival between teachers and students / students in an equal communication process, evaluation of the curriculum in the pesantren in social reconstruction perspective, there is an integrated homework strategy pattern as part of a continuous and objective assessment pattern, evaluation aims to create a qualitative value that is honesty, the implications of this research for the process of treasuring the social reconstruction curriculum. Abstrak:  Tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah 1) untuk memberikan deskripsi tentang perencanaan kurikulum, 2) implementasi kuriukulm pesantren, 3) evaluasi kurikulum pesantren, dalam cara pandang kurikulum rekonstreuksi sosial. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena kurikulum PPI Nomor 110 memilki ciri khas menerjemahkan implementasi pembelajaran secara sadar membentuk pribadi yang kritis serta mampu menjadikan santri sebagi  pionir dalam keberlangsungan sosial di lingkungan pesantren dan diluar. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Desain penelitian melibatkan metode triagulasi dengan metode wawancara dengan stakeholder dipesantren tersebut, kepala madrasah, wakil kepala bagian kurikulum, guru madrasah aliyah, studi dokumentasi kurikulum, dan observasi pembelajaran di pesantren tersebut. Hasil penelitian, perencanaan kurikulum di pesantren tersebut dalam perspektif rekonstruksi sosial belum mencangkup kriteria perencanaan dalam pandangan rekonstruksi sosial, implementasi kurikulum di pesantren tersebut dalam perspektif rekonstruksi sosial adanya keterbangunan antara guru dan siswa / santri dalam proses komunikasi yang setara, evaluasi kurikulum di pesantren tersebut dalam perspektif rekonstruksi sosial, ada pola integrateg homework sebagai bagian dari pola penilaian secara terus menerus dan dilakukan secara objektif, evaluasi bertujuan untuk terciptannya nilai kualitatif yakni kejujuran, implikasi penelitian ini untuk proses khazanah tentang kurikulum rekonstruksi sosial.
