Abstract

PT PJB is the largest electricity producer on the islands of Java and Bali. Chemicals are needed to expedite the production system and also the durability of the tools used. Antiscale is one that is used in PJB's external water treatment system, namely the Desalination Plant unit. Filling of chemicals into the tank through a manual system carried out by experts. The load is quite heavy and the distance is quite far making workers feel tired quickly. This study aims to determine the working posture conditions on the job of filling antiscale chemicals at PT. PJB UP Gresik. The method used in this study is using the REBA method. The results of data processing and analysis indicate that the working posture conditions in the activity of filling antiscale chemicals into the tank are less ergonomic. The average final score points to 11, which means it has a very high level of risk and action needs to be taken now. Actions that need to be taken to reduce the risk of work accidents are by modifying the line on the Desalination Plant unit so that chemicals can be directly transferred into the tank using a pump. Of course, by considering the aspect of cost and equipment procurement.

Abstract

The clay plasticity can be reduced chemically using lime which contains Ca++ and Mg++ to neutralize the swelling and shrinkage properties. The test soil sample from Teluk Mesjid Village, Balangan Regency, has a 51% liquid limit, a 30.45% plastic limit and 20.55 Plastic Index, it is not specified as an embankment material. The lime percentage was based on plasticity test on soil mixed with 4%, 6% and 8% lime. Direct shear and independent compressive strength tests were carried out on the original soil samples and soil samples with addition of 6% lime resulting from standard and modified compaction as well as CBR tests for unsoaked and soaked conditions. The lime addition reduced the Plasticity Index greatly from 20.55% to 5.84% or to low plasticity category. Soil cohesion increased up to 100%. The shear angle increased was only 2-3°. The ultimate bearing capacity of the free compression test from modified compaction increased significantly up to 100%. The increase in CBR value in soaked conditions reached 59.6% to 63%. The soaked CBR value with lime addition increased from 7% to 17.4% or increased for 2.48 times.

Abstract

PT Petro Oxo Nusantara merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi 2-Ethil Hexanol atau yang lebih sering disebut Octanol. Dimana pada perusahaan ini menerapkan kebijakan zero inventory untuk meminimalisasikan barang inventory sehingga barang yang disimpan tidak terlalu banyak. Penerapan kebijakan zero inventory pada perusahaan, mewajibkan PT. Petro Oxo Nusantara memiliki sistem pendukung kebijakan tersebut. Salah satu sistem pendukungnya adalah pemilihan supplier dengan kriteria paling cocok sesuai kriteria perusahaan.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan supplier dengan rating tertinggi dan cocok sesuai dengan kriteria perusahaan yaitu : Quality, Cost, Delivery, Specification, dan Service. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode Fuzzy Simple Additive Weighting (FSAW). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 5 responden divisi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supplier yang memiliki ranking paling tinggi untuk dipilih adalah PT. Air Product Indonesia dengan perolehan nilai sebesar 0,948 untuk supplier gas dan PT. Global Energi Solusindo dengan perolehan nilai sebesar 0,920 untuk supplier sparepart.Kata Kunci: Fuzzy simple additive Weighting, pemasok.

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah menganalisis risiko kecacatan dari mesin las yang berada di perusahaan. PT. Swadaya Graha berkembang menjadi perusahaan jasa di bidang konstruksi dan fabrikasi, salah satu usaha yang perlu dilakukan menganalisis kerusakan adalah meminimalisir kerusakan yang terjadi pada mesin, karena mesin las sering di pakai dan digunakan adalah mesin las yang berjenis Flux Cored Arc Welding dengan kata lain FCAW. FCAW merupakan proses pengelasan dimana fluk diletakkan di inti tengah elektroda menggunakan busur listrik. Sebelum mesin las digunakan ada pengecekan terlebih dahulu agar mesin yang digunakan tidak menyebabkan bahaya dan kerusakan pada produk. Dari kerusakan atau kegagalan dalam produk akan didapatkan faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya kecacatan terhadap komponen mesin las melalui hasil RPN yang paling tinggi untuk  memberikan usulan perbaikan pada mesin las FCAW. Maka dari itu digunakan metode FMEA pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan mengurutkan nilai RPN dari yang tertinggi kemudian melakukan analisis nilai tertinggi untuk dijadikan sebagai acuan pemberian usulan perbaikan mesin las FCAW.Kata Kunci : Mesin las FCAW, PT Swadaya Graha, FMEA

Abstract

Tofu industry is one of the many SMEs operating in Indonesia. These industrial activities have the potential to have an impact on the environment. Industry X, Gresik has an average production capacity of 600-900 kg of tofu every day. The main energy used to produce tofu is firewood. The average daily use of firewood in this industry is 1,520 kg. Burning wood has the potential to cause global warming. In addition, this industry also does not manage its liquid waste which has the potential to cause pollution in aquatic ecosystems. The purpose of this research is to analyze the potential environmental impact of the tofu production process. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and direct measurement. Data analysis using Life Cycle Assessment method and SimaPro 9.4 Software. Environmental impact assessment using the CML-IA (baseline) method. Based on the results of Simapro analysis, the global warming potential impact is 2,95 x 108 kgCO2-eq

Abstract

Sungai Mahakam have an important role in the survival of the surrounding society. Mahakam River is used by the surrounding society for their household needs and also as a source of raw water for Perumdam Tirta Kencana, Samarinda City. In addition, this river is also used for a means of transportation and a lane for barges that carrying coal. This condition allows the pollution that occurs in this river. Physical condition that shows the color of the water is cloudy and the growth of water hyacinth plants along the river. Therefore, the status of the water quality is needed as pollution control for Mahakam River. The method that used to determine the quality status in this study is the Pollution Index. The parameters that used in this study are pH, Temperature, TDS, TSS, COD, BOD and Pb (lead) which were measured according to SNI. The results of the Mahakam River water quality status at point 1-3 are included in the “lightly polluted’ category with 2,106-1,65 value range.

Abstract

Embankment within soil causes changes in tension within it, which causes deformation to occur and results in stabilization in the soil. The type of soil, method of filling, and degree of density can affect the soil’s technical properties. When embankment work forming a new slope, it is important to analyze the slope’s stability. This study analyzes the effect of elevation, slope, saprolite layer thickness, and depth of replacements using PLAXIS 2D software. The results of the analysis show there are effects from elevation, namely the higher the embankment the greater the decrease and the smaller the safety factor becomes. The slope also has effects and influence, that is the steeper the embankment, the smaller the decrease and the greater the safety factor. Furthermore, there are effects from the replacement’s depth. Namely the thicker the replacement depth results in the decrease in the Short-Term condition becoming larger and the decrease in the Long-Term condition getting smaller.

Abstract

MSME Nasi Goreng Kencur is one of the developing MSMEs. With a variety of products for sale. Of the various variants that are sold, of course, they have different advantages. So we need a problem solving tool to find out which product has the maximum benefit. Research is able to find out how feasible and optimal solutions are from various problem models. Implementation of operational research on the completion of the case study in Nasi Goreng Kencur SMEs, to obtain optimal benefits. This research was conducted in 2022 using the interview method and direct observation, where MSME owners become the data source for conducting research. To optimize the profit can be solved by using the Integer Linear Programming problem model using the Simplex method. Then for the assignment analysis at the Nasi Goreng Kencur SMEs using the Hungarian method. In the data processing that is carried out using these two models, manual data processing is carried out, and calculations using POM-QM software. So that the results of the study become more accurate, because in addition to using manual calculations. Calculations are also used using the POM-QM application.

Abstract

Developments in the city of Palangka Raya y giving different temperature between urban and sub-urban. Phenomenon that  cities have warmer temperatures than sub-urban and rural areas called Urban Heat Island (UHI). This study aims to find out about the development of the UHI phenomenon in the city of Palangka Raya  from 2000  to 2018 using remote sensing and geographical system. Based on the analysis of the TIR band landsat 7,  in Kota Palangka Raya since 2000 has been UHI phenomenon, where high Land Surface Temperature (LST) was found dominantly in urban areas  compared to sub-urban areas . In 2018, as Palangka Raya city  had developed, based on the result of TIR band Landsat 8, the distribution of high LST not only found in the urban area, but in the sub-urban zone, especially at  Menteng Urban Village and Panarung Urban Village. The development of UHI in Palangka Raya city over eighteen years (2000-2018) show  in the sub-urban area  experienced changes of UHIindex’s area more dynamic than the urban area. Urban development causing to conversion of  vegetated land into impervious land,  which greatly affects the energy balance. The increase in impervious areas causes more solar radiation  that reaches the surfaces of the earth   more absorbing and it is converted into sensible thermal  energy which increases the surface temperature.

Abstract

The problem that often appears in the distribution of economic assistance is miss-targeting assistance. This miss-targeted distribution is also faced by Baitul Maal Yayasan Al-Anshor Asmawiah, a foundation that receives and distributes economic aid. This obstacle is faced due to the many criteria attributes of potential recipients, confusing the foundation in selecting aid recipients and some parties are still cheating. Information provided by potential beneficiaries is often incomplete so there is a lack of data on the prospective beneficiary forms. The method for selecting economic aid is the C4.5 algorithm, which is an algorithm that forms a decision tree as a reference for selecting economic assistance. After obtaining the rules, the foundation implements the system in assisting. This system makes it easier for the public to fill out economic assistance forms and it is easy to immediately find out information whether they reserve the right to economic assistance or not and make it easier for administrators to get information divided to whom reserve the right to attain assistance.
