Abstract

In order to support Zum-zum Island as a tourism development area in Morotai Island Regency, a well - defined planning for developing basic infrastructure is required. Foundation is a construction base of a building structure which transmits the load from the top to the layer below it. This research was conducted at Zum - Zum Beach using CPT (Cone Penetration Test). An analysis was carried out on the bearing capacity and settlement of the footing and pile foundations. The results of the analysis show that the bearing capacity of the footing foundation has a varying value depending on the width of the foundation. The greater the width of the foundation with the same type and depth, the greater the bearing capacity of the foundation permit. Meanwhile, the bearing capacity of the pile foundation permit depends on the end resistance of the foundation and diameter of the pile. The immediate settlement of the foundation on sandy soil for the largest shallow foundation is 10.24 cm with a foundation width of 0.7 m. As for the depth foundation, the magnitude of the settlement is 0.40 cm on the pile with a diameter of 0.4 m.

Abstract

CV. Eja Nursery merupakan salah satu industri pembibitan dan perkebunan karet yang terdapat di Kutai Kartanegara, tepatnya di Jalan Poros Samarinda – Bontang Km 71. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal didapatkan bahwa terdapat beberapa postur kerja yang tidak ergonomis pada saat petani karet melakukan pekerjaannya yaitu membungkuk pada saat proses penyadapan dan proses pengangkutan getah karet. Postur kerja yang tidak ergonomis ini dapat menyebabkan petani karet mengalami keluhan musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) yang tinggi. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut perlu dilakukan penelitian ergonomic assessment untuk menilai postur kerja pada aktivitas-aktivitas kerja petani karet khususnya di CV Eja Nursery, sehingga nantinya para petani dapat mengetahui tingkat risiko dari postur kerja yang dilakukannya tersebut sehingga dapat diberikan rekomendasi perbaikan sehingga risiko cedera dapat diminimalkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah OWAS. Dari perhitungan menggunakan OWAS dapat disimpulkan bahwa, sebanyak 71% postur kerja berada pada kategori 2 yaitu postur kerja berbahaya bagi sistem muskuloskeletal dan diperlukan perbaikan di masa yang akan datang, 21% postur kerja berada pada kategori 3 yaitu postur kerja berbahaya bagi sistem muskuloskeletal dan diperlukan perbaikan segera mungkin dan 7% postur kerja berada pada kategori 1 yang berarti tidak ada masalah pada sistem muskuloskeletal. Hal ini berarti  postur kerja petani karet di CV. Eja Nursery dari tahap persiapan, pemanenan, pengangkutan hingga pemanenan masih kurang ergonomis. Perbaikan diperlukan adalah menyediakan alat bantu seperti meja dan kursi, perancangan alat bantu sadap, dan kereta dorong.

Abstract

Indonesia has many historical and cultural heritages in the form of ancient documents written in Arabic, Malay, or Jawi. There are six additional letters in Jawi, namely ca, nya, nga, pa, ga, and va to form Jawi’s vocabulary. This ancient Jawi document has suffered many quality degradations such as uneven lighting, varying contrast, blurred ink and writing, black spots, smudges, and several other glitches. Research on handwritten word recognition systems has been done extensively for Arabic scripts and various other writings. Most of the previous research focused on character level, word level, and document level. However, it still uses publicly available datasets such as IFN/ENIT, CVL dataset, IAM, and several other datasets with similar characteristics. Meanwhile, the Jawi dataset at the word level is still not available at this time. Therefore, this study examines the handwriting recognition system at the word level. The purpose of this study is to propose a new dataset (word Jawi dataset). It is hoped that this new dataset can become a more representative dataset. The process of creating a new dataset is carried out using a manual and semi�automatic approach. Furthermore, the document said Jawi will determine the Ground Truth (GT). This research produces a special dataset of words Jawi as many as 2,310 words.

Abstract

The availability of a safe food supply for the community is a right that must be fulfilled. One of the food supplies is dairy products such as milk. Milk can be processed into various types of products, including ice cream. On 8 July 2022, the European Union Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) reported a case of Ethylene oxide (EO) contamination in French Häagen-Dazs brand vanilla ice cream with levels exceeding quality standards (maximum of 20 mg/kg). This study aims to disseminate information about chemical contamination of ethylene oxide in ice cream and how the Indonesian authorities respond in to prevent and control the spread of contamination. The Previous case reports on 6 July 2022, authorities in France through RappelConso, and on 7 July 2022, Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) published public information regarding the voluntary recall of Häagen-Dazs vanilla flavor ice cream by the manufacturer because it contains EO. Meanwhile, on 8 July 2022, the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) ordered importers to recall the product. In 19 July 2022, The Indonesian government through the Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) has withdrawn the vanilla flavored Haagen Dazs ice cream product circulating in Indonesia. The hypothesis that can be formulated on Ethylene oxide contamination in ice cream is the use of pesticides containing EO on vanilla flowers (the raw material for making Häagen-Dazs ice cream with vanilla flavor) leaving a high residue. The Häagen-Dazs ice cream industry must implement a good HACCP system, including a sound and safe selection of raw materials

Abstract

Terbinafine hydrochloride is a synthetic allylamine drug with a broad spectrum of antifungal properties. The purpose of this study was to identify terbinafine hydrochloride in whitening cosmetic products using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). The first stage starts with dissolving cosmetic samples (A, B, C) and blanks, diluted with 25 ml of methanol. Then the solution was vortexed for 2 and centrifuged for 10 minutes at 4000 rpm. The supernatant layer formed was filtered through a 0.45 m membrane filter. Then the filtrate obtained was tested by the HPLC method. Based on the results of the system suitability test of the sample and blank, the concentration was 16????????/ml, the average retention time was 8.934 minutes and the average area was 2163340. The standard deviation of the relative retention time was 0.3098% and the area was 0.0721%. The follow-up factor and theoretical plate obtained automatically from the HPLC tool obtained an average follow-up factor value of 0.9515 and an average theoretical plate value of 217.7531. The results of the HPLC system suitability test and the terbinafine hydrochloride blank were identical, but the retention time was different, obtained from each different sample. All cosmetic samples contained Terbinafine hydrochloride as they did not meet the requirements. Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 3 of 2021.

Abstract

Lembang District is one of the sub-districts in West Bandung Regency with the largest population of dairy cattle in West Java. an increase in the population of dairy cows will cause an increase in emissions that cause global warming. Methane is one of the greenhouse gas emissions produced from dairy cattle. Methane emissions from dairy cattle are produced when cattle burp and fart. In this study, the estimation of methane emissions from enteric fermentation uses the IPCC 2019 reference guidelines using tier 1 and tier 2. The results of calculations using tier 1 show that the highest methane emission from enteric fermentation is Sukajaya Village 8.0939 Gg CO2-eq/year and the highest is Sukajaya Village 8.0939 Gg CO2-eq/year. the lowest was Pangerwangi Village at 0.7057 Gg CO2-eq/year. Then the results of calculations using tier 2 based on local emission factors and development of emission factors show that the highest emission is Sukajaya Village at 4.8231 Gg CO2-eq/year using local emission factors, and 53.9276 Gg CO2-eq/year using development factors. emission. Meanwhile, the lowest methane emission is Pagerwangi Village at 0.0408 Gg CO2-eq/year using local emission factors. However, in the low calculation using the development of emission factors, the village that produces the lowest methane emissions is Wangunharja Village with emissions of 0.0495 Gg CO2-eq/year.

Abstract

Sungai Cikapundung merupakan salah satu sungai yang berada di Kota Bandung yang saat ini sudah dipadati pemukiman dengan jumlah penduduk 750.559 jiwa. Sungai Cikapundung memiliki panjang aliran sungai sebesar 28 km yang melintasi 11 kecamatan di tiga kabupaten atau kota, yaitu Kota Bandung, Kabupaten Bandung, dan Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Salah satu kecamatan di Kota Bandung yang dialiri oleh Sungai Cikapundung adalah Kecamatan Batunungal yang memiliki 8 kelurahan, salah satunya yaitu Kelurahan Maleer. Kelurahan Maleer memiliki total jumlah penduduk sebanyak 16.770 jiwa pada tahun 2021 dengan kepadatan penduduk sebesar 393 jiwa/Ha. Berdasarkan SNI 03-1733-2004 Kelurahan Maleer masuk ke dalam klasifikasi kawasan berdasarkan kepadatan penduduk tinggi yaitu 201-400 jiwa/Ha. Selain itu, berdasarkan dokumen Rencana Induk Sistem Pengelolaan Sampah Kota Bandung tahun 2017-2037, Kelurahan Maleer juga merupakan kawasan zona prioritas pertama dalam penanganan sampah. hal ini terkait peningkatan jumlah penduduk di Kelurahan Maleer yang akan mempengaruhi timbulan, volume dan jenis sampah yang dihasilkan. Kegiatan membuang sampah ke sungai akan berdampak negatif terhadap kesehatan masyarakat, estetika lingkungan di sepanjang aliran sungai dan sanitasi yang buruk, sehingga peran serta masyarakat sangat penting dalam pengelolaan sampah terutama di daerah bantaran Sungai Kelurahan Maleer. Peran serta masyarakat yang dapat dilakukan dalam pengelolaan sampah yaitu menjaga kebersihan lingkungan, pengurangan sampah, pemberian usul dan saran suatu kegiatan. Keinginan masyarakat yang bersedia berperan aktif dalam pengelolaan sampah sebesar 19%. Namun ada juga masyarakat yang ingin ikut berpastisipasi namun tidak berperan aktif pada kategori low income 16%, kategori middle income 22% dan kategori high income sebesar 16%.  Pengurangan sampah terbagi ke dalam dua skenario, dimana pengurangan sampah pada skenario I sebesar 19,50% dan pengurangan sampah pada skenario II sebesar 30%.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is an industrial company that focuses on manufacturing automotive components. The company also has many branches in various countries such as in the USA, India, China, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia. The machine used in this company is an injection molding machine. PT. XYZ focuses its company on manufacturing car interior components. Many activities are carried out in it such as the injection process, painting to assembly. Data for the injection engine of 2500 TON experienced downtime or damage for the last three months (January-March 2022) which was 10,055 minutes, where the highest injection engine downtime data occurred in January 2022 of 3685 minutes. It is necessary to evaluate the injection machine to be able to determine the effectiveness of the injection machine using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method by looking for values from availability, performance to quality. Based on the results obtained in these three months, it does not meet international standards at an OEE score of 85%.

Abstract

PT Sari Agrotama Persada Gresik is an agribusiness company, and has been operating in Gresik since 2018 on soybean packaging, based on data from the company, where it is still found in their products, both from customer complaints and during the production process. Which is more directed at product packaging, it causes the quality required by the company, and product appearance has a big role in customer interest and trust. This study aims to determine the type, causative factors and recommendations for recommendations. In this study using Pareto diagrams to describe the level of product type, fishbone diagrams to find the factors of occurrence and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) methods to identify failure modes, determine failure effects and causes, assign severity, occurrence and detection values, calculating the Risk Priority Number (RPN). To do to find out the dominant factors causing the defect and provide an offer, then in the hope that it can be a consideration for companies to reduce or even eliminate their products, to produce products that comply with company standards.

Abstract

Pest attacks that result in reduced crop yields require alternative control that is able to prevent damage to agricultural land. Organic pesticides are environmentally friendly pesticides because the materials used are derived from natural ingredients, one of which is liquid smoke, namely liquid smoke made from natural ingredients containing cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin. This study was to determine the effect of giving liquid smoke of siwalan peel waste as an organic pesticide. Liquid smoke is obtained from the combustion process with a little oxygen at a certain temperature. The content of compounds in liquid smoke was analyzed using GCMS. Pyrolysis results obtained dark brown liquid smoke, clear, has a smoke-like odor (sangit), and has a watery texture which is used as an organic pesticide on spodoptera litura with varying concentrations of 5%, 7%, 9%, 11%, and 13%. The results of the GCMS analysis found 18 components of the liquid smoke of siwalan rind waste, among the compounds that function as organic pesticides are phenol, furfuran, acetone, and palimitic acid. The results of the analysis of the mortality of spodoptera litura sequentially showed the average value of mortality in 2 repetitions, namely 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and 35%. The greater the concentration of liquid smoke, the higher the mortality value. However, it is less effective to kill spodoptera litura quickly, even mortality at a maximum concentration of only 35% or has not reached the death rate of 50% of test animals.
