Abstract

Stock is the most unique and significant working capital in an organization that has material value. Material stock control needs to be considered because it is directly related to the costs that must be borne by the organization. Companies must carry out inventory control to determine the optimal amount of inventory levels needed and when to buy or reorder goods. An inventory management strategy called EOQ takes carrying and ordering costs into account. It is assumed that demand quantities are known, lead times are known and constant, and stock shortages can be completely avoided by placing orders on time. The EOQ method is often used because it is easy to implement and can provide the best solutions for businesses. The Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method which is based on the inventory model formula produces an economical order quantity, 670, which results in reduced ordering and holding costs to minimize PT XYZ and maximize profits. PT. XYZ should be able to determine the amount of safety stock, reorder point as an effort to avoid the risk of running out of raw materials and excess of raw materials so as to reduce the costs required to purchase raw materials.

Abstract

Abstract This study employs multiple qualitative and quantitative phases of quality assessment at one of Perum Bulog's warehouses. A descriptive qualitative study using observation data collecting and interviews with the quality control team is used. Rice is a need for the people of Indonesia. Perum Bulog is responsible for rice price stability in Indonesia. According to Presidential Instruction No. 3 of 2007 and SNI 6128:2020, rice in Bulog warehouses must adhere to quality criteria. Regarding the quality requirements for the distribution of rice, Bulog performs a quality check on the rice received. Bulog's quality control procedure consists of three stages: the acceptance process, where samples of rice obtained from farmers are taken, and the quality control officer's mini-laboratory sample test inspections. After screening at the receiving stage, the rice will be weighed and then placed in the warehouse with a stapling arrangement system (rice stacking) utilizing key 5. At the rice storage stage, minimal monitoring will be performed periodically, and if the rice is infested with pests, it will be sprayed or fumigated. The last procedure is the exit process, and the warehouse employs the First In First Out approach when customers make purchases. Keywords: rice, warehouse, quality, bulog, price stability

Abstract

AbstractThe world’s energy needs keep rising but numerous difficulties remain to meet energy needs. Technological, financing, and biomass raw material issues hinder biomass energy expansion. Renewable energy development faces this main challenge. Converting biomass into energy is still expensive. Hightech investments cost more. Modern technology demands lots of raw materials. Industrial biodiesel capacity is 12.5 million kilolitres. 3 million kilolitres, or 25%, are used. Funding issues also exist. Bioenergy processors require incentives to invest. Improve regulations to sustain investment. The financial services authority should sponsor and finance green projects like renewable energy development to help this industry grow and survive. However, feedstock availability and sustainability remain the biggest challenge. Feedstock supply and biomass price stability remain challenges. Therefore, stakeholders and the government and businesses that use their resources must cooperate and coordinate. Planning, regulation, and coordination are the keys to preserving the biomass resource activity cycle. The government should strengthen regulations through linked ministries to ensure its sustainability. Keywords: biomass energy conversion, technological limitations, finance limits, biomass raw material availability, legislation for biomass energy

Abstract

Fossil energy demand rises with global population. Rising consumption has depleted non-renewable energy sources. Thus, many governments are seeking new renewable energy sources (EBT). Biomass has great promise as renewable energy. This study examines Indonesia’s biomass energy potential. Indonesia’s new and renewable energy capacity will be 49.81 GW (gigawatts). But only 445 Megawatts are deployed (MW). However, opposing interests and conflicts persist in its application. EBT development need a solution to this problem. SWOT was used to find answers for these issues. The draft strategies optimize coordination and collaboration between intersecting subsectors (agriculture, plantations, and forestry) from ministries and industries (food, chemicals, animal feed, cosmetics and others). Optimizing regulations to manage competing interests across major companies including food, chemical, cosmetics, and energy and between sectors, especially to meet renewable energy demands. However, government cooperation and regulation must be strengthened to optimize research and development for alternative renewable energy.

Abstract

Many developing nations, including Indonesia, depend on energy for socioeconomic growth. However, the government must control sustainable biomass exploitation, use, and development. Increasing biomass use for many purposes. Indonesia has 49,810 MW of plant-based biomass. Over the past decade, Indonesia's energy demand has grown 7%. This study examines barriers to renewable energy from agricultural, plantation, and forest biomass. Developer-producer integration in energy production is a challenge. Misuse of raw material sources, especially in supply chains, can destabilize forest biomass sources in the future. Due to insufficient education, farm workers lack experience and information about correct processing. Farmers employ traditional implements. This substantially limits agricultural waste conversion into renewable energy. Another issue: biomass resource overlap. Regulating sectors, agencies, ministries, and producers is crucial. This governs linked institutions (between regions, agencies, ministries both in the utilization and regulation of their interests).

Abstract

Located in South Asia, specifically in the southern part of the Himalayan Mountain ranges about 65 to 8.848 meters above sea level, Nepal has a wide range of cultural traditions, religions, ethnicities, and languages. The country is bordered by India on the west and China on the north. Ghandruk is one of the old historical mountain settlements in Nepal, situated on the slope of a mountain. It is also on one of the busiest tourist routes to Annapurna Base Camp and Poonhill, offering a popular tourist attraction, a hiking stopover, and a cultural representation of Gurung culture. Throughout its history, it has been subjected to numerous violent earthquakes, especially in the past century. This paper examines how the Ghandruk settlements survived as old historical settlements and from the earthquake disaster, utilizing an architectural mixedmethod research approach. The architectural typo-morphology analysis was employed as the main methodology to assess the physical changes of the settlement, supported by an ethnographic overview, particularly for socio, cultural, economic, and historical analysis. This study enriches the literature about the old historical settlements as well as can be a reference for practice, especially for tourism and disaster management purposes.

Abstract

To meet its domestic energy demands, Indonesia continues to minimize its reliance on fossil fuels and rely more on renewable energy sources. This is done to guarantee that the energy is distributed evenly throughout the area. Given the potential and availability of renewable energy sources in nature, Indonesia can meet the EBT mix target of 23% in 2025 and 31% in 2030. It’s only that attaining the EBT mix target is difficult; Indonesia faces numerous hurdles. As a result, based on the most recent books and research, this study addresses the obstacles that Indonesia faces in meeting market demand for new and renewable energy goods and services. These obstacles, it is anticipated, would subsequently push Indonesia to take bold moves in rejuvenating the energy sector, strategic policies, and major investment.

Abstract

Until 2050, it is certain that Indonesia will continue to rely on fossil fuels. To lessen its dependence on diminishing fossil fuels, Indonesia is still searching for alternate energy sources. Considering the continuing fall in oil output, the development of alternative and renewable energy sources is crucial in order to eliminate reliance on imports. Indonesia has been encouraged to create long-term renewable energy to meet the community's energy needs by of enormous natural resource potential. This country with the moniker “megadiversity” must be cautious when assessing the possibilities of renewable energy sources derived from raw resources, particularly biomass energy. Agriculture, plantations, and forestry are the sectors that have the most potential to be utilized as biomass energy. The results of the debate indicate that agricultural waste has an annual energy potential of 614,7 million GJ. In addition, forest biomass has an annual energy potential of 141,500,000 GJ, and plantation crops also have the ability to be used as biomass energy.

Abstract

MSMEs play a significant role in driving Indonesia’s economic growth. MSMEs contribute up to 60.5 percent of GDP. Labour absorption achieved 96.9 percent of the total nationally. The impact of the recent global economic crisis and the Covid-19 pandemic has been the most significant impediment for MSMEs.This situation caused a huge drop in MSME income, and several went bankrupt. As a result, this study offers alternative strategic options based on hybrid method decision makers’ instruments, namely SWOT analysis and Process Hierarchy Analysis (AHP). Several draft strategies have been developed in order to enhance the number of optimal MSME firms. The decisions made include the necessity for MSMEs to develop into innovative activities with high economic added value by employing government support in the form of finance, business training opportunities, institutional improvement, and more profitable business laws. Furthermore, this aid is intended for building enterprises on online platforms in order to boost MSMEs’ future competitiveness. MSMEs must also optimize in order to create innovative economic opportunities. As a result, MSMEs must optimize their human resources in order to capitalize on its commercial prospects. These essential human resources are then enhanced so that they can run online-based businesses in the future.
