Abstract

This research aims to determine the sales level of UMKM Storing Coffee in order to develop an appropriate marketing plan, thus increasing sales profitability. Forecasting is a technique used to predict future values using historical data. This research was conducted on a UMKM that specializes in Coffee beverages, namely Storing Coffee in Karawang city. This research was conducted by observing the sales forecasting analysis of coffee beverage products. The forecasting method used was an average with a trend analysis. Analysis was performed by comparing the smallest margin of error using the trend analysis method. Trend analysis is a technique used to determine the extent of fluctuations and factors that influence them. The profitability ratio is used to evaluate the effectiveness of business management. The higher the profitability ratio, the better because it means that the business owner obtains higher profits.

Abstract

Perusahaan Segi Tiga telah berdiri sejak tahun 1958 dalam memproduksi kecap. Sampai sejauh ini, kontrol persediaan Gula Aren sebagai bahan baku kecap di perusahaan tersebut masih menggunakan metode sederhana. Sebagai contoh, kegiatan pembelian bahan baku hanya dipertimbangkan dengan melihat sisa persediaan yang ada. Penggunaan cara tersebut membuat perusahaan mengalami kontrol persediaan yang kurang stabil dengan biaya yang tidak optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memperbaiki kontrol persediaan Gula Aren agar dapat meminimalkan kejadian overstock dan stock out, serta memperoleh biaya persediaan yang lebih ekonomis menggunakan pendekatan metode Economic Order Quantity dan Forecasting. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan, peramalan permintaan Gula Aren menggunakan metode Regresi Linear memperoleh hasil forecasting optimal sebesar 150.906 kg untuk satu tahun ke depan. Selanjutnya berdasarkan metode EOQ, kuantitas pemesanan optimal Gula Aren memperoleh hasil sebesar 24.782 kg dengan frekuensi pembelian optimal sebanyak 6 kali per tahun. Pembelian tersebut dilakukan apabila tingkat persediaan telah mencapai reorder point sebesar 1.986 kg. Untuk menghindari stock out, perusahaan perlu memiliki persediaan pengaman sebanyak 742 kg. Penerapan metode EOQ juga menghasilkan efisiensi total biaya persediaan sampai dengan 31% dengan penghematan hingga Rp250.826,09.

Abstract

Distribution and transportation aspects are quite crucial for the survival of a company's business and operational activities. Characteristics and conditions of the distribution aspect of a company can affect the capital and the selling price of products that consumers will accept. Then needed optimal handling of distribution, especially in the case of product distribution routes as a form of business process improvement. The purpose of this study is to carry out business process improvement in kraft paper’s distribution at CV. Bintang Globalindo. The distribution route identification process is carried out through a saving matrix with a cluster first route second strategy approach. Clustering results based on the saving matrix produce 3 route clusters with the total order for each cluster still below the maximum load capacity of 25 tons. The results of the third cluster routing with the nearest insert and nearest neighbor algorithms produce the same route, there is; 1) Karawang Cirebon–Ciamis–Karawang, 2) Karawang–Bandung–Cianjur–Sukabumi–Karawang, and 3) Karawang–Jakarta–Tangerang–Bogor–Karawang. New route has a total distance of 1.097 km or a difference of 9.41% from the initial route. In addition, the range of cargo utilities from this proposed route is 80 - 90.4%, denser than the initial route of 76.8 - 96.8%

Abstract

PT ABC is an industry that produces hazardous and toxic waste. All waste generated is stored in temporary storage, but based on observations made, the existing temporary storage does not meet the standards set by the government. Therefore, a temporary storage area was redesigned at PT ABC in accordance with the standards set by the government. The objective of this study is to find a temporary storage place that complies with government regulations for PT ABC. The method used is to record the types, characteristics, and quantities produced by PT ABC, followed by existing observation, then proceed with the calculation of facility requirements according to SNI and individual calculations. A redesign is carried out by adjusting the calculation results, determining the required facilities, and making a design proposal. The results showed that PT ABC requires temporary storage of 6,1 m x 2,6 m x 4,4 m to accommodate all the waste generated for 3 months with the number of drums needed, namely 5 drums. The total ventilation needed is 6 pieces with a size of 0.5 m x 0.5 m. The required size of the spill container is 2.2 m x 1.2 m x 0.6 m, and it takes 3 lamps to illuminate the temporary storage.

Abstract

PT. Pindo Deli merupakan  perusahaan penghasil kertas dengan kapasitas produksi yang besar. Operator mesin cutter kertas merupakan salah satu entitas penting dalam kegiatan produksi ini, produksi yang besar serta permintaan yang tinggi membuat karyawan dituntut untuk bekerja maksimal. Berdasarkan hal itu, maka karyawan akan memiliki beban kerja tinggi yang dapat mempengaruhi mental pekerja dan menyebabkan produktivitas kerja berkurang. Penelitian ini memiliki fungsi untuk mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab beban kerja serta memberikan sebuah usulan perbaikan sebagai solusi untuk menurunkan beban kerja. NASA-TLX adalah bentuk pengimplementasian penelitian dengan memberikan lembar kuisioner kepada 12 karyawan mesin cutter kertas pada unit cutter dan finishing 7. Perhitungan ini mendapatkan hasil rata-rata skor WWL adalah 77,6 dengan hasil kategori tinggi. Setelah melakukan perhitungan, diperoleh penyebab tingginya beban kerja yaitu kurangnya fasilitas kerja, standar operasional prosedur yang rumit, kurangnya pelatihan terhadap karyawan. Saran yang dapat diberikan berupa peningkatan fasilitas kerja, perbaikan standar operasional prosedur, dan mengadakan pelatihan kerja.

Abstract

The demand for Piston Cup Forging in spare-part companies every period has increased and decreased, which causes uncertainty about product demand. In this case, the company needs to do demand forecasting. There are various methods of doing forecasting. Companies must choose the best forecasting method, so that companies can make decisions more effectively and efficiently. This research aims to compare the best forecasting methods to apply for companies. The methods that will be compared in this research are Moving Average 3 monthly and 5 monthly, and Exponential Smoothing with α = 0,1; α = 0,5; and α = 0,9. The error accuracy calculations used are Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), Mean Squared Error (MSE), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). From the results of calculations and analysis, the method that has the lowest error rate is the Exponential Smoothing method with α = 0,1, with MAD of 16.695, MSE of 510.645.732, and MAPE value of 61%. So in estimating the demand for Piston Cup Forging over the upcoming period in spare-part companies can use the Exponential Smoothing method with α = 0,1.

Abstract

Waste Bank is one of the options to reduce solid waste in solid waste management. The planning purposes is to plan waste reduction through the Waste Bank with the 3R concept to support solid waste management in Duren Sawit District. The method used for sampling the generation rate and composition of waste in Duren Sawit Subdistrict is in accordance with SNI 19-3964-1994; making observations to obtain data on waste management at the Waste Bank; and conducting interviews both verbally and with questionnaires regarding community participation. Based on the results of the study, the waste generation rate in Duren Sawit District is 0.6 kg/person/day with a composition of 70% organic waste and 30% inorganic waste. The potential for waste recycling that can be done in Duren Sawit District is 27%. By the end of the planning year, the Waste Bank has the potential to reduce waste by 37% of waste generation. To achieve this reduction, the Waste Bank needs to improve services and community participation as customers and non�customers. The Waste Bank will be optimized in stages according to the percentage growth of Waste Bank customers in each kelurahan. In the first stage, the optimization of the Waste Bank is targeted to reach 50% of the total households in the Duren Sawit Sub-district. In long-term planning, the Waste Bank plays an important role in the aspect of waste management.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company that produces motorcycle and car tires. This company has a fairly broad product market, so the products it manufactures have good product quality. In producing tires, one of the machines used in producing tires is an extrusion press machine. In carrying out its production, the extrusion press experiences downtime in the period August-December 2022, where the biggest downtime occurs in August, which has a downtime of 1890 minutes. After conducting an analysis using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness method to determine the level of effectiveness of the extrusion press machine, the OEE value calculation results from the August-December 2022 range are less than the international standard value of 85%. so we need an increase in the OEE value on the extrusion press machine. In increasing the OEE value, better engine maintenance is needed, so the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) method is used as an effort to make engine maintenance even more effective.

Abstract

Suatu proyek tidak dapat terlepas dari risiko-risiko yang memungkinkan untuk dialami dan bersifat tidak diharapkan. Risiko tersebut kebanyakan tidak dapat dihindari dan diprediksi. Namun, secara teoritis dapat dikelola dalam sebuah aktivitas manajemen risiko untuk memperkecil dampak negatifnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis dan mengidentifikasi risiko-risiko yang memungkinkan terjadi pada proyek instalasi fire sprinkler system di PT. XYZ. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif dengan pendekatan severity index dan probability impact matrix pada analisis data kuesioner yang disebar melalui responden yang bersifat purposive sampling. Setelah dilakukan tahap identifikasi risiko, diketahui ada 8 variabel risiko dengan 54 indikator risiko yang relevan dengan proyek instalasi tersebut. Adapun variabel risiko ini, yaitu: variabel risiko force majeure, variabel risiko proyek, variabel risiko kontraktual, variabel risiko tenaga kerja, variabel risiko peralatan, variabel risiko material, variabel risiko keuangan, dan variabel risiko manajemen. Hasil identifikasi risiko lalu dianalisis dan dievaluasi melalui pendekatan severity index dan probability impact matrix diperoleh informasi, antara lain: 39 risiko berkategori risiko sedang, 10 risiko berkategori risiko rendah dan 5 risiko berkategori risiko tinggi.

Abstract

Scheduling is one of many project management activities that have a crucial role and support the success of a project. The existence of good scheduling is able to minimize delays in project completion and swelling of the budget costs incurred. This study aims to identify the optimal completion time, determine alternative acceleration, as well as the probability of completing the target duration for the construction project of Mosque and Orphan Dormitory Barokah Amanah Mustaqbal Foundation, Karawang. Based on analysis of CPM and PERT, critical path activities are A-C-D-E-F-G-H-K-M-N-O-P-Q-R-S-T with time completion faster than the target set for 90 days. In the CPM method, the project completion time takes 87 days. These results can also be accelerated by crashing programs on 7 alternative project activities, there is: M-P-O-E�Q-H-S. Crashing for a maximum of 8 days requires an increase in labor costs of 6,09% (Rp10.954.109) of the initial cost. The PERT method shows that a project duration of 86,7 days at probability level that can be completed in less than 90 days of 91,31%.
