Abstract

Kegiatan penangkapan nyamuk dalam survei dan pembelajaran praktik di laboratorium selalu menggunakan aspirator. Aspirator adalah alat yang digunakan untuk menangkap serangga yang sangat kecil, lembut, gesit, dan aktif yang sulit dikumpulkan dengan pinset atau sikat, seperti nyamuk. Aspirator yang banyak digunakan untuk menangkap nyamuk saat survei maupun di laboratorium sederhana yaitu aspirator mouth suction. Penggunaan oral suction aspirator rentan terhadap penyebaran kasus COVID-19 karena selain dihisap melalui mulut, juga digunakan secara bergantian. Sehingga perlu dikembangkan berbagai model aspirator otomatis tanpa penyedot mulut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (RD). Berdasarkan uji daya hisap, model kipas memiliki kecepatan hisap maksimum 5cm sedangkan model katup 1 cm. Model aspirator kipas menerima 3,82 atau sangat baik dibandingkan dengan model katup 3,4 atau baik.

Abstract

The increase of biodiesel production capacity is followed by an increase in crude glycerol production as a by-product. Crude glycerol still has a low purity and a lot of impurities so it requires special treatment so that it can be utilized and valuable. One of the ways to increase the purity of crude glycerol is in the adsorption process. This study aims to determine the best conditions for the adsorption process and the characteristics of the glycerol produced after the adsorption process. The initial condition of crude glycerol purity is low, namely 67.8%, so purification is needed. One way of purifying crude glycerol is by physically separating it using fly ash as an adsorbent. The experiment was carried out with the adsorption process using fly ash with the adsorbent mass variable 30,35,40,45, and 50 grams and the adsorption time variable was 50,60, and 70 minutes. The purified products are analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively, including glycerol content, density, viscosity, moisture content, ash, and MONG. The best conditions for the adsorption process using fly ash were obtained at a mass of 50 grams with a time of 50 minutes with the results that the glycerol content was 97.5%, water content 0.03%, ash content 0.0432%, MONG content 2.426%, density 1.253 gr / ml , viscosity 233.56 cP. Based on these results, purified glycerol was obtained that met the quality standards of SNI 06-1564-1995.

Abstract

Mining activity is one of the producers of coarse particulates and fine particulates in the air which can have an impact on the surrounding environment. Limestone mining carried out by PT. Semen Padang is likely to contribute particulates such as Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) in the air. This study evaluates the dispersion pattern of TSP with variations in time and place to see its movement and direction of spread to determine affected areas or areas with high pollutants. Sampling and location determination refers to SNI 19-7119.6-2005 which consists of 30 observation points in 8 cardinal directions in the area around mining. Meteorological data was taken to see the dominant wind direction using the PCE-FWS 2.0 tool and then processed using the WR Plot software. TSP concentrations were measured using an EPAM 5000 tool which was divided into 4 shifts with the duration of each shift measured for 30 minutes, then TSP concentrations were mapped using Surfer 10 software. The results showed that TSP concentrations in the morning and afternoon were influenced by sampling distance and mining activity. , while the concentration of TSP at night is influenced by the wind direction and the sampling location. The TSP dispersion pattern in the morning and afternoon tends to be east, south, and west, while at night the dispersion pattern tends to be high in the southwest direction.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the water quality of the Krueng Brayeun River as one of the potential surface waters to meet the needs for the development of a Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) in Banda Aceh City and Aceh Besar District. Water samples were taken at five locations around the planned intake, namely two points before the planned intake and three points after the planned intake. Laboratory tests were carried out on physical, chemical, and biological parameters. Based on the test results, it is possible to use the proposed intake location as a source of raw water for PP RI No. 22 of 2021 class I. There is no possibility of pollution at the site of the proposed intake, and water-related activities that are carried out close to bends do not have an impact on the river of quality Kr. Brayeun. Recommendations for securing raw water sources are needed so that the utilization of Krueng Brayeun River water does not interfere with the PDAM's processing process.

Abstract

Kendala yang sering ditemui dalam supply chain management yaitu kekeliruan yang menyebabkan kesalahan informasi baik itu persediaan maupun permintaan produk atau yang dikenal sebagai Bullwhip Effect. PT. Ciptaunggul Karya Abadi bergerak di bidang manufaktur dengan salah satu produknya yaitu Lever Cam Shaft 45P. Perusahaan tersebut mengalami kesulitan untuk menentukan kuantitas produk yang optimal terhadap target kebutuhan konsumen. Sehingga dengan ketidakpastian inilah yang menyebabkan Bullwhip Effect pada supply chain. Tujuan dari penelitian ini, diharapkan dapat mendeteksi adanya Bullwhip Effect dan mengusulkan perbaikan guna menurunkan nilai Bullwhip Effect pada supply chain. Pada penelitian ini metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara interview kepada Kepala PPIC dan pengamatan langsung ke lapangan. Data yang digunakan yaitu mengenai identitas perusahaan dan historis produksi perusahaan. Serta analisis yang digunakan berupa pengukuran Bullwhip Effect dimana terdapat perhitungan rata-rata, standar deviasi, koefisien variansi, nilai Bullwhip Effect, dan parameter Bullwhip Effect. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa produk Lever Cam Shaft 45P pada periode Januari 2021 sampai April 2022 mengalami Bullwhip Effect dengan nilai Bullwhip Effect sebesar 2,0329 dan nilai tersebut lebih besar dari Parameter Bullwhip Effect sebesar 1,0194.

Abstract

Setiap pekerjaan pada dasarnya memiliki risiko kecelakaan kerja tersendiri, apalagi jika posisi pekerja membutuhkan tanggung jawab besar. Kecelakaan kerja dapat terjadi dikarenakan kelalaian pekerja itu sendiri, mesin yang digunakan, atau bahkan bencana alam yang tidak terduga sebelumnya. Untuk menghindari dan mencegah kecelakaan kerja di perusahaan, maka diimplementasikan Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3). K3 adalah suatu usaha yang digunakan untuk dapat mencegah terjadinya kecelakaan kerja atau untuk memperkecil peluang risiko kecelakaan kerja. K3 penting diterapkan oleh seluruh bidang. Perusahaan di dunia dan di Indonesia pada umumnya telah menerapkan K3. Salah satu metode yang termasuk dalam K3 adalah Metode HAZOP. Metode HAZOP adalah metode yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi bahaya kerja. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi potensi bahaya kerja yang terjadi di Gardu Induk PT PLN (Persero) UPT Karawang. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan, hasilnya adalah terdapat 7 potensi bahaya kerja dengan 5 risiko tinggi, 1 risiko sedang, dan 1 risiko rendah. Untuk menghindari bahaya yang ditimbulkan dari potensi bahaya tersebut, dapat dilakukan penerapan SOP keselamatan, penggunaan APD, dan mengedukasi para pekerja.

Abstract

Analisis dan Penugasan UMKM dengan teknik riset operasi untuk memecahkan masalah yang dihadapi oleh UMKM menjadi sebuah solusi jitu dalam mengantisipasi ketidakstabilan profit pada masa pandemi Covid-19. UMKM adalah suatu usaha yang dimiliki oleh perorangan atau organisasi bisnis yang memenuhi standar usaha mikro. UMKM yang diteliti berada di salah satu kecamatan di Kabupaten Karawang. Produk yang dihasilkan oleh UKM ini hadir dalam berbagai bentuk kerupuk seperti kerupuk jengkol, udang, rambak dan kerupuk putih. Untuk menganalisis permasalahan yang ada pada UMKM tersebut digunakan metode sederhana yaitu Integer Linear Programming untuk mencari keuntungan optimal dari UMKM tersebut dan metode Assignment Hungarian untuk menangani permasalahan penugasan agar lebih optimal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pemrograman linier, metode simpleks diketahui memberikan hasil yang maksimal. Maka dari itu, penjualan kerupuk harus difokuskan terhadap kerupuk Rambak (X3) yang dijual seharga Rp. 6.000.00,-. Kemudian, untuk metode Hungarian, waktu optimal yang dihasilkan adalah total 205 menit per hari. Kemudian selain menggunakan cara perhitungan manual juga digunakan alat hitung dengan menggunakan software POM-QM dan dihasilkan jumlah yang sama untuk masing-masing cara.

Abstract

Every year around 24 million people die from work accidents, which include 360,000 fatal accidents and it is predicted that 1.95 million of them are caused by fatal diseases that arise in the work environment. PT Pelindo III is a company that serves as a public port operator (terminal operator). In 2011 according to the Ministerial decree of Transportation Number: KP 88 of 2011 concerning the granting of a business license to PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) as a Port Business Entity covering the provision and service. Therefore, the function of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III also increases. Evaluation is one of the stages in the process of carrying out a fit to work health examination which aims to provide recommendations for developing the process. The purpose of this examination is to study the implementation of the program on fit to work which discusses efforts in implementing occupational health and safety at the Kalimas Terminal in Surabaya. In this study using quantitative descriptive research as a research design with interview and survey methods. The informants of this study were 11 people from Kalimas Terminal employees. The results obtained in this study are the implementation of fit to work program at Kalimas Surabaya Terminal has been carried out optimally and effectively

Abstract

Damage to the Pami Riverbank in the North Manokwari District, West Papua Province, is generally caused by the socio-economic and cultural activities of the community in the DAS (Daerah Aliran Sungai), which is a part of human intervention against natural systems in the DAS, such as development-cultivated land in the watershed. The increasing population growth and the demand for natural resources, including water, soil, land, and forests, can result in changes in watershed conditions. One of the buffer areas is the riverbank. The riverbank location functions as a buffer region at the proper and left components of the river. It provides ecological services for filtering runoff water and keeping nutrients and sediment that can be transported with floor runoff. The damage to the Pami River's borders becomes delivered about extra using natural elements, along with erosion, fallen bushes, landslides, and excessive river water discharges that motive cliff erosion in the middle and pinnacle reaches of the Pami River. Riverbank erosion occurs because of solid water runoff, in addition to the soil type factor in the Pami River, which is easily eroded due to the poor physical properties of the soil and is very sensitive to erosion and the soil slope factor.
